When you come right down to it a person's origins are not important online.  More important is the way the conduct themselves.  I don't pay attention to the jerks, those who hop into a thread just to argue and cause trouble, or anyone I've found spreading BS.  Reading some of the drivel people post with the I'm so smart/educated/intellectual attitude makes me laugh.  I know smart, educated and intellectual people in real life and they don't sound like that or write like that either.

Learning about other cultures is fun and inspiring.
