Transported from 2014 to WW2 (m or f)

For this one, I would be using the theme in the reddit idea Rome sweet Rome, but instead of being transported back in time during the reign of Augustus, my marine unit would be transported back in time to Bastogne, during the Battle of the Bulge, or maybe Market Garden, perhaps even Stalingrad, helping the Russians. I'm looking for someone with an interest in this, with some suitable knowledge of  military, of the time.

Or, if anyone likes the idea of my Marine unit being transported back to Roman times, then we can try that out as well. I'm looking for something creative and imaginative.
