Magma would have more possible already connected friendships with Paige, Illyana, Kitty, etc.  As far as Emma goes, while she'd have similiar connections I wouldn't exactly call them friends. Not enemies, but not friends at least not with the younger ones. Storm and Piotr might be different as they are a little older (at least I think so in our game -- don't quote me on it).

That storyline happened in the late 90s so it made it into our canon.
