sister depression (Luna murakami and silverroses2009)

It had been two years since the death of her brother. Two long years of counseling and tears though nothing seemed to help. Her mother told her of a twin brother she had and that might be able to help her become undepressed. The pain of losing her brother came back the first moment she heard that. Right now she was in her room and not wanting to be talked to. The music was blaring and the door was shut. (Sorry it's short but it's late here)

Blue eyes stared at the house in front of him. a week ago he was contacted by the adoption agency saying that they had finally located a blood relative of his and so here he was standing in front of their house.  He was kinda nervous about meeting his twin sister and her mother. Sighing and running a hand through his blond hair he knocked on the door.

A shiver went down her spine when she heard the knock on the door and she hoped her mom would not make him go upstairs. A few moments later their mother opened the door and greeted him. "You've grown. I can't believe it's you." She went to hug him.

He smiled and hugged her back a bit awkwardly "thanks. Glad to see you've been taking care of yourself. How's my sister? Is she doing any better?" He asked pulling away from her. "I came as soon as I got the news."

Slowly she let go of the hug and looked at the ground as if feeling the pain from losing her younger daughter again. "No all she does it sit in her room and doesn't come out. If you go to see her expect her to ignore you or be mean."

He frowned a bit coming inside. "It's gotten that bad huh...if i remember correctly she never did handle loss well. Hopefully though the trip I've planned for us will help. Our plane doesn't leave for another two days so I hope to at least get to know her a little bit before we leave." he smiled "you know to make things less awkward between us."

(Wait he's leaving again in two days?)

Their mother sighed and let him into the house more. "I don't know if she will let you into her life. She's pretty messed up." She said and then went to the kitchen to get him some water.

He nodded "That's why I'm hoping that this retreat will help her. I don't expect her to let me back into her life at the moment so all I can do for now is gain her trust. Prove to her that I'm not going anywhere"

(What do you mean by both)?

"Well that's going to take a lot of work and patience." Their mother said as she handed him the bottle of water and looking into his eyes. The same eyes as his twin.
