Tortall series idea

The mage named Saladin was thrown out of the kingdom of Tortall for his treason, but he promised to return. One day he did returned and casted a spell on the land of Tortall, capturing it's citizens in a magical dimension with now way of getting out. That is unless someone can learn to break the spell.

Centeries passed and Tortall remained in silence. The other countries had banned people from going saying that the gods had punished Tortall and that anyone that went there would be judge by the gods and never seen again. Of course that didn't stop the number of thieves from going there and trying to get their hands on the gold that rumored to still be held there.

One girl may be able to break the spell, but did she do it by accedent or did she know what she was doing?

I was thinking of starting this out that she is hiking to the castle after spending many dies actually getting there, and breaking the spell. Anyone interested I'm looking for a Prince Jonathon.
