At 5'7" and 130 pounds Harleen is quite petite, and for a woman her size she packs quite a punch. Her big brown eyes, and innocent looking features easily let her blend in with "normal" society. When playing the role as Harleen, she tends to favor more comfortable relaxed clothes. Jeans and a tank top, or for work a relaxed casual appearance.

As Harley, her choice of wardrobe could only be described as loud. The bright red and black jesters outfit she wears allows her to remain flexible while allowing her to also conceal her identity. The white face paint she wears lets her feel closer to The Joker. Her utility belt hangs at her hip, stocked full of several gadgets and items she can use to get out of tight situations and more.

== Persona ==
Obsessed. That's one way her colleagues have described Harleen. Her desire to study the criminal mind, and more specifically The Joker, has always appeared to be a little too obsessive. She likes to dive head first into her work and tends to be the last to leave, and the first one in. She's a wonderful actress, and the charisma she holds tends to keep people from asking too many questions, and has helped her in gaining financing for some of her more interesting endeavors.  She's persistent when it comes to getting what she wants, and her superiors believed she only has her career in mind when she asked to speak with The Joker.

Harley however is a complete basket case. Broken over time by The Joker in their sessions, she has come to love him, even with the mental abuse he's rained down on her. She is willing to do anything and everything to please him, even kill The Batman. She is the most loyal of his henchmen, willing to stay behind and take the fall for him in a heartbeat. She has no regard for human life, and will kill anyone who gets in her love's way. Anyone, with the exception of The Batman. She knows he is off limits. That wont stop her however from distracting him from The Joker.

Born Harleen Quinzel, she grew up in the slums of Gotham. Her mother, was a stern, uptight woman who acted as if the world owed her something. To her Harleen was always a bad egg. Even after she graduated High School as Valedictorian, and well, Harleen blamed that on her no good scumbag father. A thief and all around liar, he was in and out of jail most of Harleen's life. Her bother, a dead beat father of two, was following their fathers path. Not Harleen. She wanted nothing more than to prove her mother wrong. 

Through middle school and beyond Harleen put her heart into her studies and gymnastics. Wanting to better herself. When She was old enough she took several weapons training courses to better protect herself once she moved from the home she had in the slums. Shortly after graduation she was granted a scholarship based on a paper she wrote, the basis? Criminal Minds. Who better to write the paper that would give a full ride scholarship than the girl who grew up with a compulsive thief and liar.

In the years following her graduation from Gotham University Harleen took on an internship at Arkham Asylum, where some of the more notorious minds were kept. Several thesis she had written were on The Joker, and nearly every day she worked on her superiors and mentors, slowly convincing them she should be the one to analyze and work with The Joker. It took a couple years but finally she'd worked her way up enough that she was given the chance.

At first things were going as well as one could expect. He didn't open up at first, but slowly, she worked his trust and seemingly gained it. Her sympathy for him grew however as he began to "open up" and reveal the struggles of his childhood. Eventually moving to seduction Harleen found herself falling for the man and despite everything she had been told, everything she'd been warned about regarding him, she started to trust him. Love him. Eventually agreeing to help him break out.

To be honest Victor would find a better home here in Gotham than Solomon. We're trying to stay away from the zombies and maigical aspects that can come with the DC universe. However I can easily see someone attempting to murder him, and he becomes horridly disfigured. If you can rework his story to fit the more realistic setting we'd be more than happy to work with you on bringing him in.

Man needs no divine assistance. He makes himself! I chose to exterminate the zombies. I chose to kill. But I hurt myself, too -- to remind me that even I am only human!

== Physical Description ==
5'10 in height and weighing just over 11 stone, Victor has a wiry build but with striking muscle definition giving him an unnatural appearing physique. His skin is naturally pale and compliments his blue eyes perfectly, finishing off his unnerving look. A total of 106 tally marks lie on his skin, though he avoids the neck, hand, feet and face for obvious reasons.

He typically wears a pair of workman jeans with boots, a plain under-shirt and a leather bomber jacket in the day. In the night not much changes, but he swaps the leather for a wind-breaker and wears a flat cap to hide his features. Zsasz always carries a hunting knife with him regardless off where he is going in the day.

== Persona ==
Depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disroder and he cannot stand it when people don't wait for the second flash. Zsasz is unpredictable and excellent at hiding it form the public. By day he works on the pier, checking shipping crates for contraband a simple job that allows him to stay underneath the radar and avoid colleague contact. Zsasz spends all day counting the ways he can pose dead bodies, practicing with toys and pig carcasses as perfecting his killing is the only thing in his mind. Zsasz has one obsession and goal and that is to kill the Batman, he has only ever seen him on the television and in the media but he has been planning his encounter with the Batman for months now, wanting nothing more than to add his mark to his soft flesh.

He usually prefers to attack young women, but has no qualms about any number of victims. He slits their throats and leaves them in lifelike poses, adding a tally mark to his body for every person that he successfuly "liverates" from life. This sociopathic tendancy to think death is a liberating force is only superficial. He knows that there could be nothing on the otherside and that he's just killing to be killing, the trouble is, he's not dead, so he doesn't care. The only relative thing in his life is body-count. The more tally marks he can cut into his body, the better. They're trophies, and physical reminders of his accomplishments.

Zsasz was the head of his own software manufacturing company and had amassed an outstanding personal fortune, accompanied with his family fortune made him untouchable. At the age of 25 his parents died in a boating accident, sending him into a deep depression. He turned to gambling, drugs and violence, stepping into the darker places of Gotham for bare-knuckle boxing or dog baiting for a quick buck. His luck made a turn for the better however. At an illegal casino in Old Gotham he bumped into one Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot who flashed his money in Mr. Zsasz' face. Of course feeling lucky from previous winnings he played a round of blackjack with Cobblepot, but the short billionaire had been cheating and Zsasz lost everything. That was it for him, everything was gone and nothing remained, Cobblepot's goons even took the shirt off of his back.

Stunned, he became convinced that "there was nothing at all at the center of me...no reason for being, no motivation, no purpose. I was just a robot, sleepwalking from one distraction to another, hiding from the truth." While he was attempting to commit suicide by jumping from Gotham Bridge, a homeless man tried to assault him with a knife after he refused to give him money. Instinctively grabbing the knife, Mr. Zsasz saw in the man's eyes that all life is meaningless and that nothing nor anyone matters. Mr. Zsasz had seen "nothing. He was a robot, driven by forces he didn't even know exist. He was a beast, an animal, a subhuman. Only death could ever save him from his own emptiness." He then proceeded to stab the man to death as a "gift" for saving his life. From then on, he dedicated himself to "liberating" others from their pointless existence. The years went by and Zsasz has racked up more than a hundred kills, mainly women whom he has raped and tortured before their slaughter. For every kill Zsasz adds a tally into his own flesh with his blade, though avoids his face to evade suspicion.

In her early twenties, after conning her way through college, a con man thought to try to con her instead.  She used her knowledge of his superstitious nature to turn it back on him.  Selina went to a fashion designer friend who helped her create the streamlined feline black leather outfit in order to blend.  The cat ears were added to play on the “never cross a black cat” superstition.  After turning the con around, rumor got around and people called her “the cat” or more aptly “Catwoman”.  The black leather suit is used as a utility to allow her to easily get around in the night and in tight spaces without catching onto objects.  The rumor around town is now never to “cross the black cat.”

Posting my tentative interest. I love the idea of a darker Gotham. The idea I have is for a cop that is corrupt, but not in the sense of being on the side of the gangs or villains. Essentially, the idea I have is a very dark anti-hero, with a lot more emphasis on the "anti" than "hero". They still believe in enforcing the law, but are willing to bend or break procedure to do things. Essentially, a cross between a vigilante and a cop, but with a darker side than either. Would that work for this RP?

• Disadvantage 2: Mentally Weaker (after a certain point):  While mentally quick and able to adapt, Selina isn’t as mentally strong as others.  She will break after a certain point. She has many setbacks in her history including a broken home.  She can take several mental hits and will take anything to a certain point.  However, even the toughest crumble and her defenses tend to take more damage depending on the circumstance and vulnerability.
• Disadvantage 2: Curiosity: She is innately curious about anything and everything.  It is often what gets her into certain situations.  After all, “curiosity often kills the cat”.   

== Background ==

Selina Kyle grew up on the wrong side of town in a broken family. The education of the streets taught her to be wily and how to survive but the lack of support from a family caused some emotional issues that lead to some weak points in her mind.  She made the dual personality in order to have more control over her own circumstances.  She began conning people to afford food as a young teenager. 

In her early twenties, after conning her way through college, a con man thought to try to con her instead.  She used her knowledge of his superstitious nature to turn it back on him.  Selina went to a fashion designer friend who helped her create the streamlined feline black leather outfit in order to blend.  The cat ears were added to play on the “never cross a black cat” superstition.  After turning the con around, rumor got around and people called her “the cat” or more aptly “Catwoman”.  The black leather suit is used as a utility to allow her to easily get around in the night and in tight spaces without catching onto objects.  The rumor around town is now never to “cross the black cat.”

Posting my tentative interest. I love the idea of a darker Gotham. The idea I have is for a cop that is corrupt, but not in the sense of being on the side of the gangs or villains. Essentially, the idea I have is a very dark anti-hero, with a lot more emphasis on the "anti" than "hero". They still believe in enforcing the law, but are willing to bend or break procedure to do things. Essentially, a cross between a vigilante and a cop, but with a darker side than either. Would that work for this RP?

I think that could definitely work.  Sounds like a really intriguing concept.
