"Good evening to our faithful viewers and to those viewers that are new to our channel welcome! I am Mojo, your ever faithful T.V. producer responsible for all your Mojoverse viewing needs...

I have a question for all of you sitting in front of the tv at home... Are you aware that you are not the only you in this great big place? That in fact there are many of you sharing a name, but in different realities? Yes! It's true! We live in one of but many realities called the Multiverse! Well, actually it's an Omnivores and home to many more things then your minds can comprehend... Like a world where fan favorites Wolverine and Gambit steal a vehicle called a Batmobile, and darling Jubilee falls for a certain Boy Wonder. A rampaging Hulk battles the last son of some world that starts with a K, but that's a story for some other time!

No, I'm simply going to focus on our Multiverse this fall and the worlds that it contains... The smallest thing or someone can change the course and balance of these realities and bring us to the brink! Though never fear! There is a team that rights the problems that creeps up and makes sure our lives keeps going on! I, Mojo bring to you all the newest reality show to our coming fall line up!"

THE EXILES!

There is a place... A very special place that sits outside space and time itself. It is called the Panoptichron and is a massive crystalline fortress also simply called the Crystal Palace. This palace resides within the M'Kraan Crystal and can be used to either view or visit alternate realities. Over the years people have come and gone from this place, the first known being an insectoid race that were come to be called the Timebreakers.

The reason they were called this was because during their explorations, they messed up and caused an accident. This simple accident rippled across the Multiverse causing a destabilizing effect and threatening everyone's destruction. In their haste to correct their mistake, they gathered the first team of people to take on the name Exiles. Over the years the line up has changed and while Mutants were first used other non mutant hero's such as Spider-Man of an alternate 2099, the Power Princess, Sasquatch, and King Hyperion have spent time on the rosters.

Now new members are being pulled from the brink of death and destruction to join a new group of Exiles. What new threats are rising to the Multiverse that create a need for a new team and can they stop it?

This is the recruitment thread to a reality hopping adventure. They will spend time on missions and in the Crystal Palace which will act as a more of a sandbox area, so characters can get to know each other. Of course as Mojo has said, they are starring in their very own reality show on MojoTV though they really don't need to know that!

Every character needs their downtime and they will have their own rooms in the Crystal Palace, but we'll use Earth 616 as a main go to place so they can get clothing, food and other essentials. It's also because the previous Exiles have had interaction with the X-Men and Fantastic Four of that reality, and are familiar with them.

Missions

There are going to be two different types of missions in the game...

Main Story missions which advance the plot and will usually be GMed by me, although I'll admit I'm still working them up. There will be other things to do in the mean time though! Next are:

Side Missions: Just because we have some off time doesn't mean the problems end! These missions can be thought up and ran by you the players! Now if you have a great idea for a mission and don't want to run it then no problem. We'll have it set up to where open missions can be GMed by those that want to. These can vary from defending a team like Alpha Flight to heading to a bakery to buy the last Danish.

Characters

Ok down to the meat and potatoes of it all... Let's be honest y'all were waiting for this right?

With all these Earth's characters can come from almost any universe, with the exeception of 971023 which is the home of the X-Babies and obviously too young for the story, which is a shame... They are so cute!

Anyways we'll start with characters for the main Exiles and after second characters can be introduced. Depending on the number of players we can form different teams from them as not every mission might need a full squad. Here is the standard character sheet:

Marital Status: Widowed

Occupation Before Exiles: Super Hero

Affiliations: Formerly Fantastic Five and Jean Grey’s M-Men

Origin of Powers: Skrull Mutant, actual title K-Class Deviant Skrull

Powers:

Skrull Shape-Shifting: Like all Skrulls, Z’Cann is a shape-shifter. Z’Cann can mentally cause the unstable molecules that make up his or her body to become pliant, enabling him or her to assume other forms, including animal through muscular expansion and contraction. Once Z’Cann assumes a new form it takes a conscious act of will to assume another form, or revert to natural. Hence, he or she don’t spontaneously lose their assumed from when sleeping or unconscious. Z’Cann in altered form, however, will revert back to his or her natural form at the moment of death.

Flight: In original form Z’Cann is able to fly by shifting a pair of wings on his or her back.

Minor Healing: The process of shifting can also heal minor wounds much like Mystique is able to.

Cosmic Element Manipulation: Z’Cann can manipulate Cosmic Elements which give his or her most of the powers that Kl’rt wields. However his or her mother S’Byll fading power cosmic and Z’Cann mutant status let her influence the other power to what can benefit the Skrull princess.

Pyrokinesis and Self-Immolation: This allows Z’Cann to absorb heat and fire, as well as generate shapes of fire from his or her body at will. Z’Cann is also able to envelope his or her full body or portions of it with fiery plasma at will. Z’Cann is also capable of flight by projecting fire from his or her feet.

Rock-like Skin, Superhuman Strength and Durability: Z’Cann possesses superhuman strength beyond the natural strength of the natural Skrull. Z’Cann’s strength is sufficient enough to lift 30 tons with a full potential of 80 tons. Z’Cann is also tougher and more resistant to injury then normal skrulls as well as their muscles produce less fatigue toxins during physical activity then normal Skrulls.

Projection Telepathy: Z’Cann is a radio that can send out signals, but not receive them. They can't read minds, probe thoughts, or see things that lie outside his or her line of sight. They can, however, use his or her abilities to 'speak' inside the minds of those near them.  Physical obstructions can't affect these projections as they will real sounds and images. For instance, a person on the opposite side of a soundproof wall would still be able to hear him or her, as long as she was close enough.

Invisibility and Psionic Force Fields: Z’Cann possesses the mental ability to manipulate ambient cosmic energy for a variety of effects, including the rendering of him or herself and other objects invisible, and the construction of solid, invisible force fields. Through concentration, Z’Cann is able to project a field of psionic force the he or she is able to manipulate into a variety of simple forms; rectangular planes, cylinders, globes, domes, cones, etc.

Weakness:

Skrull Shape-Shifting: Z’Cann is only able to take on the appearance of a person or object and none of the object or person’s characteristics. There is a limit to the size of an object or person that he or she can imitate. The average Skrull cannot distend his or her mass any more then 1.5 times as large a volume as his or her original volume, nor can he or she contract his or her mass any more then 0.75 a volume as his or her original.

Cosmic Element Manipulation: Z’Cann typically uses combinations of different powers, and due to this isn’t as powerful as the other members of the F5 who can concentrate one their own powers.

Pyrokinesis and Self-Immolation: Z’Cann’s physical condition and level of energy determines how long he or she can stay aflame. Having his or her whole body in plasma form he or she is only able to hold it for 15 minutes before reverting back. Obviously time can be extended by only parts of his or her body in plasma form. His or her flames are also dependent on oxygen and can be extinguished in low air pressure or vacuum. Enough water or other fire smothering materials can also stop the flames unless he or she has them at a high enough intensity to vaporize them on contact.

Rocklike Skin, Superhuman Strength and Durability: Z’Cann is not nearly as powerful as his or her father yet and while it difficult to hurt him or her using these powers it’s not impossible. He or she still heals at a regular pace and can get sick.

Projection Telepathy: This isn’t an offensive power to Z’Cann but one of the only ways he or she can communicate. If lost he or she is totally mute with the exception of sign language. He or she has learned enough to be able to mimic accents and sounds so any singing is actually pleasant.

Invisibility and Psionic Force Fields: This is actually the hardest power for Z’Cann to use and the most likely for him or her to use in a last resort defensive setting. It requires large amounts of concentration to hold the powers up the fields also portions of the impacts get passed to his or her body.

Skills:
Multi-Lingual: Z’Cann might have a Universal Translator to understand languages spoken to them, but has learned various languages including sign language due to needing their telepathy to speak.

Hand to Hand Combat: During training Z’Cann learned very little about the Skrull version of combat from the original Super Skrull. Instead they have learned various Earth styles while with the M-Men and Fantastic Five including Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, Tae Kwon Do and they were starting to learn Tai Chi Chung.

Equipment: Talus Device, Universal Translator and a blue Fantastic Five uniform made of unstable molecules

Hobbies: Watching anime and movies, listening to music, playing video games, reading and playing various instruments.

Limitations: Z’Cann is mute and while they might have been raised on Earth, the Super Skrull is of a war like race that can be overcome with emotion.

Unusual Features: In Skrull form Z’Cann has green skin and eyes with a rigid chin as well as pointed ears.

Appearance:

Face Claim: Pedro Soltz and Alice Braga

Personality: Z’Cann is a fish out of water being from a totally different world that fits in with neither. He or she doesn’t classify themselves with a single gender, being a shifter they are more gender fluid. Honestly the only reason Z’Cann will limit forms is so his or her friends can recognize them, otherwise he or she shifts forms and genders like hats. Z’Cann loves to learn and pass on that knowledge to anyone willing to listen and learn themselves.

Billie Jean also loves to meet new people, but is usually cautious before revealing that he or she is a Skrull or their telepathy, as some people have had bad experiences with Skrulls and might not trust people with telepathy.

History: We are not alone in the universe and among the various races are a war like race known as Skrulls. This race was actually comprised of three separate branches. The immortal Eternal Skrulls, the Prime Skrulls that, were able to evolve into Celestial like beings and the shape-shifting Deviant Skrulls. These three branches ended up going to war with the Deviant Skrulls wiping out the other two branches.

Actually heroes from Earth have clashed with this race quite a bit, but at one time they were actually a peaceful race that used their advance science to create many things including the first Cosmic Cube and the Blue Area of the Moon. However the Kree changed all that…

From the Skrull and Kree war a warrior rose up his name was Kl’rt, who also became the first Super Skrull and clashed with a certain Fantastic family and Jade Amazon time and again. However he did have a family that was lost while away. Well most of them anyways… He despised his daughter and only later realized his mistake way too late. He had another lover the Skrull queen S’Byll who gave the Skrull race back their shape-shifting powers using the power Cosmic granted her by the Silver Surfer. From this union a child was hatched and was named Z’Cann.

Unfortunately the Skrull princess was born a mutant deviant… The Skrull race was focused on racial purity and most deviants where either exiled or killed. This mute Skrull being an heir to the throne had less chance of survival, but Kl’rt not wanting to lose another child hid Z’Cann with a group of mutant Skrulls. Fate would further smile upon the child as a human woman was there teaching the mutant Skrulls to control their powers. This woman was Jean Grey…

Kl’rt gave Z’Cann to Jean to take back to Earth to raise and learn his or her powers, to defend them if the Purifiers ever found Z’Cann. Jean did bring the child back to raise separately from the other students until Z’Cann learned to control the shape-shifting ability of the Skrull race. It was also during this time they chose a new name as Jean officially adopted the Skrull child. Only then did the child join the school with their chosen forms which always seemed to change on the whim of Z’Cann. The mute child learned sign language and about his or her new home until the rest of Z’Cann’s powers manifested.

During the years after Kl’rt only visited Z’Cann a few times to help train her three fantastic powers. The last visit he also brought the sad news of the death of S’Byll. Z’Cann hasn’t seen him since and will often find a way to watch the stars wondering what his or her father is doing now. Jean trained the rest of Z’Cann’s powers as well as teaching her to block away the secret of Z’Cann’s true Skrull self.

Billie Jean joined up with Jean Grey’s M-Men to fight Xavier’s Brotherhood and other missions. One of these missions had Z’Cann traveling back to his or her homeworld to help the M-Men to defend the Skrull world from the approaching Galactus. The Fantastic Four also joined with this mission and Z’Cann met Johnny Storm for the first time. The battle didn’t go well as their combined forces were no match for the World Eater. It was also during this time where Z’Cann revealed their true Skrull form. It was Z’Cann’s father Kl’rt that finally convinced Galactus to turn away, by becoming his Herald and finding an another world to devour. Kl’rt in becoming a Herald, became the Cosmic Skrull and in one last show of affection hugged his child before leaving.

This joint effort against Galactus had effect in another way as well. Skrulls became allies with Human’s and shared their science with them in an offer of friendship. Z’Cann also went back to Earth after refusing to take the place of Kl’rt as ruler, but not with the M-Men. No, Z’Cann went to the Baxter Building with the Fantastic Four where he or she learned more about their powers. It was also during this time where Z’Cann honored their true father by taking on the name of Super Skrull.

While fighting to defend both Skrulls and Humans a new turn to life appeared as Johnny proposed and a marriage later Z’Cann turned the F4 into the Fantastic Five.

However this was short lived as her father came crashing down… The Cosmic Skrull had been replaced as the Herald of Galactus and the World Eater returned with a vengeance. This time there was no stopping him and Z’Cann watched helplessly as friends and new family fell to Galactus. The Super Skrull fought with everything briefly coming to their full potential, but it wasn’t enough and both Earth and Skrull worlds were devoured.

Z’Cann expecting death instead finds themselves in a new place and an offer of joining a new team. While Billie Jean longs to rejoin his or her true family in the after life, she agrees for now as he or she finds them as the Empress of a dead Skrull race…

Notes: Like all Skrulls Z’Cann is also has a reptilian base. While they can get people pregnant and cross breed with Eternals, Kree and Humans, Z’Cann lays eggs instead of a normal birth. Thus requires special equipment if this is needed.

Is it going to be existing alternate universes or ones that you make up your own? I have a few in mind that I like (American Dream is a favorite of mine, and there's one where Sue Storm becomes the Human Torch).

Any... If you have one you like ya can use it or  make up your own with new versions of old characters. We'll probably have to draw the line at the X-Babies, no matter how cute they are.

I have a London Hellfire Club character I have been trying to play but games keep dying in which I use him.  A mutant sentimentalist with control mainly over air, but also some talent with water and metal.

Hah. I was going to ask the same thing. Would that be okay with you Sas? Some Exiles from the failed thread universe :p ? If not that's fine, I can easily come up with a new character instead.

Both are fine after all wouldn't that also be a different reality?

Now some other mentions for the rp and the biggest thing which is overlapping powers. In the Marvel universe let's face it... You get enough characters and powers will overlap, I mean you can't throw a rock without hitting a telepath or person with superhuman strength, durability and the like. Also not every character uses their powers the same way either...  Take energy absorption for example: Bishop, Sebastian Shaw and Maverick all use this in some way but all are different as well... Bishop absorbs a different type of energy while Shaw increases his strength and Maverick can channel the absorbed energy into concussive blasts.

Obviously exact same characters might be too much but doing something like X-23 and Rina Logan as sisters? Sure they both have healing factors, but the claws are different as are the personalities. Now for characters such as Mimic... I don't mind them as long as the downsides are also given. I mean if one plays the 616 Mimic yes you get a laundry list of powers, but you also get his bipolar disorder. Same with Sentry phenomenal cosmic powers.... Spend half the mission wrestling against your split personality and trying to step outside. I think I liked the Mimic of Earth 12 best as he could only hold 5 powers before having to discard and the powers were only half as strong as the original character.

Now you say only half as strong? Well, in the Exiles run the Earth-12 Calvin was able to one shot the alternate universe version of Captain America being only half strength. In Nocturne's Universe you also had the son of Apocalypse and Jean Grey who was called Armageddon and had the powers of both parents. Now you might think that would be too powerful, but even he was able to be knocked out in a single hit by the Cyclops of that world. Missions will need non combat classes as well, but some fighting skills might be good. Heck, Beak really had no use until the return of King Hyperion and he was able to enlist the help of two other reality versions of Hyperion thus fulfilling his role to head back to his time.

#14
Name: Bruce Sheridan
Code Name: Bruce was finally given the codename Tempus by Professor Hank McCoy after being refused the potential codenames Bill, Ted, Wyld Stallyn, The Doctor, Tardis, McFly & Delorean.
Player Name: lights
Sex: Male
Height: 5'9''
Weight: 175lbs
Hair: Light brown
Eyes: Dark Brown
Age: 23
Sexual Orientation: Hetrosexual
Ons: Flirty or playful women, women who are sexually submissive, women who are willing to experiment.
Offs: Overly timid or overly controlling women, Extreme BDSM, scat/fluid play.
Date of Birth: 22nd June 1993
Place of Birth: Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States
Universe of Origin: Earth 082017121741 Q
Known Relatives: David Sheridan (Father) Lucy Sheridan (Mother) Daniel Sheridan (Brother)
Marital Status: Single
Occupation Before Exiles: Legal Council, Xavier Institute, New York City
Affiliations: X-Men
Origin of Powers: Mutant
Powers: Localised time control: Manifesting at puberty the X-Gene bestowed Bruce with the ability to consciously control the flow of time and its effects upon both himself and all things within a small radius of him (Professor Hank McCoy confirmed this range of influence to be limited to a complete sphere of a 2 metre radius, though his detailed and conclusive explanation of the chronal particle effect which produced this ability was halted by Professor Logan under the threat of violence). In essence, due to his mutant ability Bruce is able to effectively speed up, slow down or hold within stasis anything around him. It is further noted for clarity that Bruce has been shown to subconsciously manipulate the effects of time upon himself allowing seemingly impossible reaction times when measured by an outside observer.
Secondary Mutation: Localised temporal positional overlay
The stress of incidents on his native Earth combined with energies used in his transport from it has triggered a secondary mutation Bruce is currently unaware of. He may now effect change in himself or objects around him within a 2 metre radius, by accelerating them to future, or restoring them to prior points along their timeline and overlaying that onto their current status. For example he may restore an injured or even missing limb by replacing its current state in the timeline with one where it was whole and well. However it will be physically and mentally taxing for Bruce to try to effect something as large as a human being, or use states that are over multiple hours or at most days away from the point he is effecting.
Weakness: Bruce must be consciously aware of whatever he wishes to effect (Professor Logan remains unapologetic for rendering Bruce unconscious with a blow to the back of the head whilst confirming this hypothesis). Additionally the greater the number of objects he tries to effect the more taxing this ability is for Bruce and the greater chance of it leaving him suffering from harm and exhaustion, or even leaving him unable to use his power until after he has rested. The size and mass of objects effected can cause similar adverse affects to him as well, though he has been shown to be able to use his power on very large and heavy objects in training exercises. Though the effort has left him tired. However it has been hypothesised by Professor McCoy for these limits to decrease with time and training.

Additionally, whilst increasing speed may seem to have obvious advantages as an X-Man (as frequently pointed out visiting lecturer Jean-Paul Beaubier) it is not a viable option for Bruce to use his powers in the manner of a speedster. A fact Bruce became aware of after breaking his hand attempting an accelerated speed punch. Indeed, Bruce lacks any increased resistance to forces generated at speed as well as the durability to resist damage caused to him by high speed impact. He is however able to react in time to rival any notable speedster.
Skills: Trained as an X-Man for multiple years Bruce is skilled in athletics, hand to hand combat and advanced driving techniques. He is also a practising lawyer on his native Earth.
Equipment: Bruce was taken from his Earth of origin with only the clothes he was wearing at the time, the contents of his wallet, his watch and his cell phone.
Hobbies: Bruce enjoys films, music and to an extent literature. He enjoys spending time outside and is keen on fishing trips with his family.
Limitations: Bruce can become bored with relative ease and enjoys a faster pace of life.
Unusual Features: Bruce doesn't have any marks of major surgery and does not see the appeal of tattoos or piercings.
Appearance:
Personality: Before the “Dr Peace” incident on his native Earth, he was described by Professor Emma Frost as light hearted, friendly, though vaguely arrogant and with a disposition to either not take things seriously, or to accept situations with ironic humour. She also mentioned that Bruce edges slightly towards the typical speedster pattern of finding normal events tiresome or slow and thus becoming impatient or arrogant. Further notes by Miss Frost mentioned a tendency towards immaturity and a lack of ready commitment towards groups or relationships. Yet despite Miss Frost's assessments he acted responsibly during his time at the Xavier Institute.

However following the Dr Peace incident which resulted in the death of most of the X-Men on his Earth after a serious of co-ordinated bombings and attacks, Bruce fell into shock, using his mutant abilities to process what should have been weeks of grief, pain and depression in seemingly an instant before rushing to the remains of the Xavier Institute to help those still alive.Yet before Bruce could learn the full extent of the tragedy he was taken from his Earth of origin to join the Exiles and is currently in a state of shock and confusion.
History: Born to parents David and Lucy Sheridan, Bruce is the youngest child in his family with a brother four years his elder. He was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, attending local schools and living a fairly unremarkable life until his mutant powers manifested during puberty. They did so subtly and were often dismissed as freak occurrences without him being seen as the cause. Hence Bruce had a normal social life, gained and lost girlfriends, went to class and tried to avoid class and lived essentially as any other teenager. However by the time he was eighteen his powers started to become stronger and more obvious, frequently effecting his friends, family and people around him to the point that any dismissal of his abilities or his ability to claim innocence or anonymity had become impossible.

Eventually Bruce agreed somewhat reluctantly to attend the Xavier Institute instead of a traditional college and initially found it hard to adjust to the environment and time away from his family. However learning to control his feelings, and in turn his ability has left him stronger and much more confident on his own, though during his first year at the institute he would return home whenever possible to spend time with his family, especially enjoying weekend fishing trips with his brother and father.  However after developing relationships with some of the women living in both the Institute and in Westchester itself, his desire to return home rapidly diminished.

During his four years at the Institute, in additional to social interaction and attending training provided in use of mutant abilities, Bruce studied law and after passing all relevant tests and examinations spent some time at firms in Westchester before being employed by the Institute itself in a legal capacity.

Bruce was never part of an active X-Men mission before the Dr Peace incident and though in shock is currently trying to recruit any aid and assistance the Exiles or Timebrokers can provide for his world.

Speaking of hot flushes  ;)

BlackStone

Name: Lord Geoffrey Marcus Wyntre, Earl of Kent
Age: 36
Race: Mutant
Sexuality: Bi-Sexual

Power:
Air Manipulation: The Emerald King can manipulate the movement of air about him to perform a number of stunts.  These are the stunts and abilities he has managed to perform to date due to the experience he has with his abilities.
  • With concentration and enough space he can lift and hold aloft in the air mass equaling to one ton in weight.  The heavier the object, the more space he needs to create a wind stream to lift.  For the full ton of weight he would need an area roughly twenty meters cubed in open space.  To generate a wind stream  to hold hold a person of average weight and height aloft, about one meter cubed area of space is all he needs.
  • If he has at least one meter cubed of space about him, Geoffrey can generate a wind stream that can grant him the power of flight.   How fast he can go depends on how much space he has about him.  In the crowded confines of a city, speeds of up to 150 mph are possible.  Up in open air where the wind stream exists, Tempest has been able to push himself to 450 mph unassisted, faster if he gets a tail wind behind him.   Flight is not a quiet or stealth like ability for Emerald King.  When he is using it, it generates as much sound and noise as a class one tornado does, and the wake the follows behind him is the same speed, so flying 150 mph down an alleyway will stir up its fair share of garbage and debris behind him.
  • Force Bolts in the form of spheres of extremely dense and low pressure air that can hit with enough force to knock an average sized man back twenty yards.  Non-lethal in most cases but can hit with enough force to dent reinforced steel up to two inches thick.  The force spheres have a range of 200 yards with no obstruction.
  • It is possible for the Emerald King to increase his speed and reaction time by a factor of twenty.  This does not mean his body is immune to the consequences of his increased speed.   Striking a person as this speed would likely shatter the bones in his hand unless some precautions were made.  Tempest is extremely cautious when using this power, especially when he is unable to channel another elemental spirit to offset the consequences of his actions while moving at such an accelerated speed.
  • If a person is in line of sight, it is possible for the Emerald King to draw all air from their body.  If he tries to do this, it is stunt of his powers which require his full concentration and he cannot use any other power.   It is limited to line of sight range so if a person manages to break line of sight, the effect on them ends.  It takes about two minutes to suffocate a normal human, longer for people more physically fit.   It is possible to revive these individuals if medical aid is given to them within the minute of their collapse.

Earth Manipulation: The Emerald King can manipulate the movement of earth about him and more importantly, draw from the strength of the very bones of the earth about him.  From his interaction and channeling the spirits of the earth, he is able to perform a number of stunts.  These are the stunts and abilities he has managed to perform to date.    Note the Emerald King must be in contact with the Earth in some form to be able to draw upon these powers.  While he can use them say on the 35th floor of a tall building, their effect would be diminished as a result.   He us unable to use his earth manipulation when not in contact with the ground at all, such as if he were flying.  Also it is only in this dimension he can manipulate earth.  If he were in another dimension, like Asgard or Limbo, he would not be able to use these abilities.
  • Geoffrey can cause an area up to twenty meters cube of earth to shift and move.  He has used this ability to pull boulders from under the earth and fling them at enemies or constructs up to twenty meters away.  This is a fair disruptive and destructive power, and is picked up as a 2.5 seismic event on the Richter scale and as such rarely employs this within the confines of a city unless a person's life is at stake.
  • The Emerald King can draw upon the strength of the world to change his body to be able to withstand the stress that comes with having superhuman strength, and can lift up to ten tons when he draws upon the earth.
  • The Emerald King can draw upon the earth to enhance the tensile strength of his skin, or the costume he wears.  He can either confine this to small areas, say hands and feet, or his limbs, or his torso, or to his full body.  Note that his natural flexibility goes down the more he draws upon it.  He can make his body as dense and hard as granite blocks, but he would be immobile and unable to move if he did so.

Water Manipulation: The Emerald King can manipulate the movement of water about him and more importantly.  His extensive experience with using this power has enabled him to come up and perform a number of power stunts.  These are the stunts and abilities he has managed to perform to date.  Note Geoff must be within 100 meters of a body of water or significant water source in order to channel th water, and their effect or intensity is diminished when confronted with effects that would cause water to dissipate at an unnatural rate, such as extreme heat.  Also the volume of water is important, and he would need a source at least one meter cubed in volume to have water of any significant amount to affect and manipulate.
  • Move and manipulate into shapes or physical constructs of water up to twenty meters cubed in volume.  Also this gives him the ability to move up to speeds of one hundred and twenty mph, if there was enough open water before him.  Tempest has been able to use this ability to stop freighter sized ships in their tracks and stave in their hulls.  Military ships up to the size of a Destroyer class are vulnerable in the open water.  The maximum range the Emerald King can manipulate water and the constructs is 200 yards.
  • With at least one meter cubed volume of water present, he can form objects that have a solid tensile strength in his hands.  He normally forms some form of martial arts weapon, such as a weighted chain, nunchucks, or katana blade.  The more water present, the stronger he can make these items.  He can make weapons that have up to a three meter reach if he so desires.  This is one of The Emerald King's more deadlier abilities due to his skill with martial arts weaponry.
  • Since the human body is mostly water, Geoffrey, with a sufficient source of clean water, can heal even life threatening injuries.   Without water he can seal minor wounds and cuts, but it does test his endurance to do so and does much better when water is present.  He is unable to regenerate new limbs or tissue on a large scale, he can however reattach severed limbs with the skill of a combat surgeon, enough to save the limb and stabilize the patient till he can see more advanced medical treatment.  Prolonged use of this ability will tax his strength and leave him unable to call upon other spirits till he had had sufficient time to recover, four to six hours of sleep.
  • With concentration and effort, the Emerald King can pull from objects or lifeforms the water which is in makeup, causing harm to them, even drowning them in the middle of the air as a result.  It requires off of his concentration to use this ability and it is limited by line of sight so if anyone can get out of line of sight, they can break the effect this ability was having upon them.  Unless some form of hydration is in effect to keep the victim alive, the Emerald King can kill a normal human within one minute of using this ability.  The Emerald King cannot be using any other ability while performing this action.

Allegiance: The London Hellfire Club, unaligned

Personality: Geoffrey is much like the typically reserved of British found in high society.  He does have a very dry and sharp wit he uses to as he says "keep people on their toes and in their place."  Despite his own ego being significant, he cannot stand large ego in others, especially in those he believes are unintelligent and incompetent.  He does not suffer fools and will choose to eliminate them from whatever position they are working.   As a business owner and chairman of a board, he does give praise to his people who are decent at their assigned tasks, or use their initiative and go above and beyond.  It has made him very sought after by many high end businesses as he is the man who gets results, and has turned more than one failed industry and revitalized it.  It has been said much of the recovery of the British economy is due to the efforts of the Earl of Kent.

As the Emerald King, he is a patient man and his stratagems are designed to have incremental gains yet at the same time success of failure of any one aspect of a stratagem not have significant impact on the plan as a whole.  He is a firm believer the world is lost without his leadership and direction, but because he is mutant much of the world would not follow him as a result.  So he took over the London Hellfire Club and bent their considerable will to his vision and uses them to work and manipulate issues from the shadows to see all of Europe rise up again to be the world power they once were.

History: Geoffrey's life started fairly much like many born into old British rank and position.  He traveled along the same path as his forefathers before him, attending the right finishing schools, University at Oxford, and as well the pressure to serve and be a benefit to Britain.  Geoffrey's father had been in the Special Air Service, his grandfather before him in the British Navy, and his great grandfather was Lord Admiral Caden on board the HMS Nelson, the flagship of the British Fleet.  Geoffrey had an challenge to continue his family's legacy of excellence as he was a mutant, something he discovered at a very early age.  In fact he could had bee quite dangerous if his Aunt Clarissa Caden had not discovered Geoffrey was a mutant.

She herself was, and at the time, a member of the London Hellfire Club's Inner Circle as its Red Queen, and within Geoff she saw the means to secure her legacy and preserve the Caden family have had in the Club and its plots.  She saw to it Geoffrey got discrete training, mentored him as to which courses to take in college and what subject to secure his Master's degree.  He also became a member of MI-6 since it was far easier for Lady Clarissa to get him into Intelligence Services than into the military.  Geoffrey was of course an extremely successful spy for Britain, his powers enabling him to do what other MI-6 could not.  He spent ten years in MI-6, rising to the rank of Senior Intelligence Captain before leaving to take up the CEO of position of his aunt's company, Steele Aerospace.  It was at this time Geoffrey was inducted into the Hellfire Club's Inner Circle as the Emerald Rook.  He would spend the next few years consolidating his power and contacts and when his aunt finally left the Inner Circle, Geoffrey claimed his place as the Emerald King, and has been in the position since, guiding the Hellfire Club from the shadows European events, knowing the key to the world is control its wealth and information.

Electricity Generation: Crystal's body is constantly generating electricity. Her body often emits a static shock to anyone she touches and requires that she use a good amount of it up so she doesn't cause herself or anyone around her any harm.
Electric Bolt: She is able to project electricity from her entire body, but her more focused attacks come from her hands. These electric bolts are able to stun, burn, injure, and even stab her enemy.
Electrified Surface: Crystal is able to electrify most surfaces as long as she has physical contact with it. This causes damage to anyone who is also touching that surface.
Electric Surge: Crystal is able to recharge electrical devices and can cause an electrical overload that can blow transformers.

Weakness: Crystal can seriously injure those around her if she has a large surplus of electricity and is surrounded by water. She has been known to start fires in her sleep anytime she forgets to use up her reserve. If she gets overloaded with electricity and is unable, for any reason, to use up enough of her reserve, she has the possibility of death to herself and others. Her heart will begin to overwork itself from the electrical current and she may cause herself to have a heart attack.

Skills: She is light-footed and mostly quiet, having gone on several stealth-related personal mission in her past.

Equipment: Talus and Universal translator earpiece

Hobbies: Crystal enjoys creating works of art by using her electricity to make burn markings in wood.

Limitations: She is not the best people-person. She doesn't do lovey dovey stuff and has a hard time connecting with people on an emotional level.

Unusual Features: Pinkish skin with light blue, light purple, and pink freckles on her cheeks and nose. Her lips are a light blue/lavender color. She has a tattoo on the left side of her neck in blue, glow-in-the-dark ink that reads 127348

Appearance:
Face Claim: None

Personality:  Crystal is not a people-person. She has seen the worst in people and expects those who are in power to abuse others. She has trouble connecting with others on an emotional level and is always keeping an eye on her 6. She questions everyone's intentions until proven that they are inherently goodhearted. She tends to eavesdrop on conversations while remaining hidden or seeming too preoccupied to be listening in.

History:
Crystiallis Limua was born a mutant and tossed away. She was an orphan until she was old enough to be released under her own custody. She did not get along well with others and never put herself out there to attract parents. She never knew her own and never cared to. She didn't need anyone to help her survive, but that didn't mean that she didn't take free meals from. She was smarter than to give up the offer.
After Crystal left the orphanage, she left her home planet to never look back. She boarded a ship to take her anywhere but there and has yet to return to her home planet, as there is nothing there for her.
Crystal got into the thieving game not long after. She had quite the knack for disarming any and all electricity-based security systems. She stole whatever expensive item she could get her hands on, but only stole from wealthy, power-hungry monsters. At least that's how she saw them. She would then pawn off the items for money and keep as much as she needed to get by before anonymously donating the rest to orphanages that housed mutants.
She was only caught once, which was how she ended getting the tattoo on her neck. It's her inmate number. Unfortunately, she was not able to escape and lived out her term before being released after 3 years on good behavior.
Notes: She still has sticky fingers.

Name: May Parker

Code Name: Spidergirl,

Other Aliases: May Day

Player Name: mayovagn

Sex: Female

Height: 5'7"

Weight: 119lbs

Hair: Dark brown

Eyes: Blue

Age: 19

Sexual Orientation: Bi/Poly

Ons: mayovagn's on's and offs

Offs: mayovagn's on's and offs

Date of Birth: 12th Dec 2021

Place of Birth: Manhattan

Universe of Origin: Earth-1685

Known Relatives: Peter and Mary-Jane Parker

Marital Status: Single

Occupation Before Exiles: College student and superhero

Affiliations: None

Origin of Powers: Inherited Spider Abilities/Mutation

Powers: Spidergirl possesses superhuman strength, agility and dexterity, as well as a sixth sense, a 'tickle' in the back of her head, that usually warns her of impending danger, even if sometimes its a little late, inaccurate or unclear. Her ability to stick to walls functions extremely similarly to that of a gecko, much like her father she is able to adhere to most surfaces with her hands and feet, using tiny hair like projections. Her hands and feet are self cleaning, using phospholipids, a special kind of thin oil, exuded from glands in her hands and feet, which serves as temporary contact adhesive as well as cleaning agent. She takes great delight in 'wall crawling'.

May is possessed of enhanced agility, able to flex further, jump higher and react quicker than a normal human. Under circumstances of extreme duress she sometimes experiences a faster time rate, where those around her seem to slow down slightly, her own actions becoming a blur to onlookers, however this is something she has no conscious control over and lapsing into this state always leaves her very hungry and thirsty as it uses a lot of her bodies energy reserves to maintain for any length of time. It also tends to leave her very sore and drained, her muscles, tendons and nerves having been worked overtime. She has been known to collapse coming out of this heightened state, disoriented and spent to nearly the point of unconsciousness.

She has small glandular holes on the insides of her wrists that she can use to shoot or just spin 'webbing' from, in the same manner as her father. The production of such causes her to have a very fast metabolism and she is almost always hungry. May heals like her dad, about four times faster than a normal human. May can spin sticky and non-sticky silk, the ends of a web line are usually stick to adhere to a surface and allow her to swing on the line. She can fire 'web balls' which are lumps of sticky silk. Her silk lines will, unlike normal spider silk, dissolve naturally in air after a day or two, becoming brittle after the first day. Before they weaken the webs May spins have an extremely strong tensile strength and can suspend several tons per shot strand and are extremely adhesive. May can spin both sticky and non-sticky strands at will and add the adhesive to the start or end or anywhere along a single strand. A short strand can be ejected at speed which she refers to as a 'web ball' but it is really more of a short, usually sticky, strand of silk.

May heals about five times as fast as a normal human and can regenerate tissue in a way that normal humans cannot. Like the radioactive spider that bit her father she could, in theory, regrow a lost limb, though it would take many months for her to do so.

Weakness: May's silk burns very easily and can be cut reasonably easily with blades.

Skills: May is a natural acrobat and has studied a little acrobatics over the years. She has taken a reasonable amount of both western boxing, Systema and Krav Maga since she was little. She is intelligent and can be witty.

Equipment: May's costume is made of Parkerthene, which is able to self heal itself after sustaining damage and is resistant to lower levels of kinetic damage, it will resist small calibre bullets and knifes with some success. It is however easily concealable under street clothes. May otherwise never really relied on technology. Even her self healing costume was only acquired a short time before she became an Exile.

Hobbies: May enjoys music, reading, movies, eating, sarcasm, tv-shows, puns, put downs, sarcasm and sillyness.

Limitations: Agile though she is a fall of over about twenty meters will really hurt May. She is strong, agile, quick and heals quickly, yet she is vulnerable to bullets, clubs, blades, in fact the full gamut of things that can harm any normal human.

Unusual Features: A habit of walking on ceilings and stealing your food and being cute enough to get away with it.

Appearance:
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Personality:  Outgoing, curious, fun, funny, sly, shrewd, canny, sensitive in places, a staunch friend and ally. May is a Parker and will fight for good and justice while using quick wit and cunning to out talk and out wit her foes. When not in costume she can be a little bookish and sometimes shy with those she doesn't know, but once warmed up she is a fun little sprite.

History: May is her father's daughter. She inherited her fathers powers. These manifested themselves, much to her parents dismay, in late high school. She cheerfully ignored her fathers admonition that she should under no circumstances try to follow in his footsteps, and in secret adapted herself an old Spiderman costume. Having strapped down her breasts she was able to pass herself off as her father for a few months. It is unclear exactly when Peter became aware that his daughter was disobeying his edicts about the superhero lifestyle, however it is clear that, for those few months, he let her continue to pretend to be Spiderman, being careful himself not to go out when she was so word couldn't spread about him being in two places at once. She was doing okay, was helping the community and hadn't he himself started in the same fashion? Plus she had spider sense, and that had saved his life more times than he could count. On top of which he had been sure to enrol her in several martial arts schools young, just in case something like this would happen. Plus, of course, he was keeping a close eye on her when she was out in costume.
Then she took on the gang at the docks. May had taken out three of them and her spider sense suddenly went crazy but it was too late, the sniper had his shot and before May's father could knock him out and take his weapon the bullet was already on its way.

May however suddenly found herself in a desert, and was soon approached by a being calling himself 'Morph' who went on to explain that she was, to all intents and purposes, dead. That she had been pulled out of time and her world the very moment before a sniper was due to end her hero career, and her life. That she was unable to return to the world of her birth, that going back would cause a rapid cascade collapse in the reality field of that causality, whatever the hell that meant. Yet it wasn't all bad news. That she could keep being Spidergirl, still help people, that in exchange for saving other realities she could earn herself a new home on a new world one day. That she was, if she chose to be, now a part of a team known as the 'Exiles', all heroes like herself, ripped from untimely deaths to help the multiverse and prevent world ending disasters from occurring throughout time, space and existence. Of course May asked all the silly questions, no she couldn't go home, she was dead there, no she couldn't see her parents or her baby brother again, unless in another universe where things may well be different from how she grew up. It took her three days of wandering the halls of the Exiles base, the Panoptichron, to fully make up her mind. She became a part of the team, taking to saving reality as she had saving New York.

Candy, Blackstone and lights... Your characters are good to go. I'm going to update the first post to show characters made, which I should have done before....

Now I'm also reminded of a couple of other things one can hit with a rock. One of them is the Spider family... Just in the 616 universe there's how many? The other group would be the Hulk's, but I'm not sure one would want to throw rocks at them.

Barbara I did ok Mayovagn as Spidergirl earlier, but due to my stupid forgetfulness I didn't put anything up for a character claim list. Now I did say I don't mind overlapping powers on different characters and I believe Gwen and May might be interesting to see interacting. I'm aiming for two teams, before dealing with a misguided team of Exiles so there can be a Spider on each team... If you and Mayovagn don't have any problems with having a Spidergirl and Spiderwoman in the same rp, then I'm cool with it as well.

Not a problem when you're counting the cards!  I do have a problem though after I looked at Gambit and realized how over powered his powers may be with seemingly little consequence, so when making her should I probably go with her being less experienced/ plainly less powerful, or go full powered but add some weaknesses?

Edit: I think I'll go less experienced

I have no issues with another spider on another team, or on the same team, or hanging around in the break room singing bawdy songs in a drunken stupor. *Smiles*

If you need help running a second team I can likely muck in.
