Character Thread - Only post here once accepted.

Before I begin describing the context of the game, I am going to start off with the rules. These are something I see more important; and keep in mind you are to also abide to the Site’s Rules as well. Failure to comply to rules of the site within my game will result in reporting; failure to comply to my rules will result in a removal from my game. Though I am usually an easy going guy, I will not tolerate any nonsense or BS in my game, if you may feel this is too much or any of the rules are, do not join.

RULES
I. LGBT Friendly.
II. No OOC Drama.
A. Keep your grievances at the door. I will not reject anyone just because they can't get along with another person. I don't expect everyone to get along, there are people I don't particularly like myself, but find a means to work it out either by simply avoiding one another or talking it out in PM. If it ends up falling onto me as 'my problem,' then I will make it 'your' problem for those involved and I can assure you neither parties want that.
B. Causing a scene and fighting OOCly is an immediate kicking offense. End story, I do not want drama in my game and will harshly deal with it if it gets out of hand.
III. Two-Three paragraph minimum posting.
IV. Third Person Narrative.
V. Respect Other Player's O/Os and Preferences
VI. Non-Con and Extremities must be agreed upon by whatever party they are targeting.
VII. No Godmoding, Powerplaying, or Metagaming; without the consensus of who it affects.
VIII. No killing off other players' characters,  unless you have permission from the player of such.
IX. Inform me and others for extended inactivity period. After a month of no announcing of going away, you will be ejected from the game.
X. Problems are to be brought to me or fellow GMs through PM.
XI. Additional Rules and Edits may be added, depending on concerns. An update to such will always be included prior of doing so.
XII. My Word is Law. 

Failure to comply to any of these rules will result in warnings and a removal from the game. Bold roman numerals are immediate bans from my game if not respected. Three warnings and you are kicked out otherwise to everything else. You may or may not be allowed to rejoin depending on severity of offenses that resulted in kicking; if you are allowed to rejoin, if there is a second kicking, don't bother reapplying for a third time.





The year is 1098, H.F.(Humanity’s Fall) life upon Earth is once more reaching its peak prior to the catastrophes that befell the planet in the distant past. The population of today may vaguely recall the events back at that time, a dark age of nuclear war that left the humans on the brink of extinction. Those who survived at that period of time begun to gather and pool their resources as a last effort to save mankind and life on Earth. A valiant effort which would keep them from going extinct like that of former species of a long ago past upon this very planet.

How did the humans persevere? It wasn’t easy at first, for hundreds of years they struggled to reclaim and build off of their fallen technology. They turned to science as a effort to save their race, the same which had doomed their world to begin with. ‘For the better good of the human race,’ they often reassured themselves with their studies through those centuries. They sought ways to populate, ways to increase longevity in not just humans but that of animals as well. If they could increase the lifespans by just a few decades, surely it would broaden their chances of surviving. In time, this form of forbidden manipulation of life will cost them once more and spawn what some may consider abominations and others miracles of life.

455 H.F. the closeness of the goals they wished to achieve were finally arriving. Unfortunately for their lot a mistake was in a batch of vaccines. It was not outright fatal and not everyone received the dosages, but those that did were already cursed with mutation in their blood. Outwardly they appeared fine and seemingly the efforts were a grand success, no one knew better of the devil’s hand in their science that would bring out different creatures through generations to come.

In 621 H.F, people assumed that the minor changes of appearance were just a side effect and nothing to concern themselves about. A few patches of fur were no worries, but their opinions begun to change from the following centuries afterwards. It wasn’t just fur they were concerned for, tails, ears, even bodies of their lineage begun to change as well. These creatures still carried similar intelligence as far as the ability to communicate amongst one another went, although there were those that couldn’t take it and fled from the city in turn spreading their affliction as a result to any outside survivors if they were carriers. As for the creatures, life within the city soon grew barbaric and eventually became a living hell for those that descended from the vaccine.

Technology itself grew as a relic of the past; although it had obtained its goal, just not in the light the former humans wish of it to. Now in present day 1098 H.F. the city is divided into four primary sections and for the most it is a game of survival of the fittest. There are those who have succumbed fully to their feral instincts and take it upon themselves to seek out prey to indulge themselves in within the South, these are known as the 'Feral Lands.'  There are those with still some lingering grasps upon their humanity, trying their hardest to maintain the dream of a civilized society for all in the North, although their united efforts are not so simply planned for other groups outside their own. There are those who have taken upon rougher roles of street thugs and gangs, not caring for the entirely of the world’s fate, but that of their immediate own within the West. There are those that succumbed to a more tribal and united way of life, viewing themselves as another part of nature and often taking on the hunt or making sacrifices to appease the God/desses in the East. There are also human remnants that somehow survived this chaos, be they visitors that found themselves in this mutated town or actual citizens from former generations that escaped the vaccine scattered about in other portions of the city.

Game Information

Genre:
Alternative-Earth, Future, Post Apocalypse, Dystopia.

Setting:
The game will primary be centered around the ruined city of Last Haven. There will be various areas of the city more favorable to certain types of individuals more than others, although the game is strictly sandbox and players are free to roam about as they please. The city itself is untamed and overgrown with wildlife; providing various sources of water, along with some areas holding fruits and vegetables, whiles others are filled with other predatory and prey natural animals that achieved a sense of longevity from the vaccine that was spread through the city centuries ago. Outwardly it may appear like a paradise to those seeking a better life, a ‘Garden of Eden,’ for the weary wayfarers. Truthfully, in a sense, it still just that, one of the very few cultivated areas upon this Earth that holds its fair share of abundance of food, shelter, and water; but all at a price if one isn’t too careful or lucky.

Territory:
Last Haven is divided into four primary sections or 'factions.'

North Haven: A more 'civilized' portion of the city that is quickly on the rise in influence and power with its growing cult and military. Between all the other groups, it is the most advanced in 'modern day,' technology field and even has some resources to few traditional weaponry(firearms) and how to use such. With a good bit of technology at its backing, it allows room for self generated sources of food among the populace. Still, many citizens are ruled over by an iron fist and it operates on martial law over its inhabitants. With the influence of the cult, many lesser species(herbivores) are falling victim to being sourced into food or made into slaves to appease the higher predators or even those that found saving grace to join into the military; before things went bad.

West Haven: West Haven is simply, barbaric. It is made up of many gangs competing for territory within that portion of the city, although the largest and most feared of known gangs is Blood Locust. Many lesser gangs have already fallen or quickly changed colors out of terror and respect towards the cruel, Crocodile leader that Dons over the ruffians known as Blood Locust. There is also competition within the very gang which can lead many to question just how truly organized it really is, when it is just as easy for any to quickly rise into a leadership position by challenging an Alpha above them. Most fights are handled one on one if any are trying to climb the ladder and additional rules are determined on an overseer to the challenge. West Haven maintains its survival by sending out scavenging or raiding parties to other territories. West Haven holds the second largest of populace of occupants, however it is mostly unorganized given the different gangs within it. Most individuals wear or use whatever they find in scavenging and people able to do a 'trade' best hope they are captured by the Blood Locust and that their services may be beneficial.

East Haven: East Haven is ruled by different Chieftains or Chieftesses. Most formed groups are usually of various racial tribes, there are some tribes that are accepting to allow other species within their folds, but not many. Most thrive by instinct, but they are far different from the known Ferals that live elsewhere within the city.  They may embrace their primal urges, but many still offer respect for the prey to maintain their pure, spirituality. Some will even go as far as making sacrifices to further appease the various deities that they may believe in. They are not often well armed or clothed, wearing skins from prey and fashioning weapons out of bone and stone. They are considered the most primitive of groups, but possibly one of the largest in factions, given the various tribes. Their survivable is often maintained by farming, hunting, trade, or even warfare with other tribes.

South Haven: This is the feral lands, a place full of savagery, ran by beasts that only live their lives by primal instincts. These creatures cannot speak, they merely know how to act and many of these wild beasts often venture into other territories within the city on whims. South Haven is believed to be a paradise in resources, the most abundant of hunting grounds, but the dangers there are often foreseen too great. There has been tales of people adventuring and never returning from South Haven, even such is spoken by the tribes of the East and some of the gangers that sent out groups from the West. Some believe there are other unseen dangers beyond the ferals and other wild beasts that thrive here.

Slaverly:
Is a thing, although this is not a ‘slave,’ game, there is nothing to say that predators will take special interest in prey and seek to bind them or mark them as their own. There are even individuals who may willing give themselves to predators for in return of protection or ’care.’ This is just the type of end chaotic world this is; however, keep core rules in mind of respect of individual. Do not go around forcing such in game on anyone without their consent.

Technology:
Technology wise, everything is in ruins in the present day timeline of the game. There are no working vehicles, there is no active sources of electricity and fuel. Cellphones do not work nor do cd players, radios, and other useless garbage that should be tossed back from wherever it was discovered. There are some relics of clothing, although for those that live within the city and attempt a civilized route, they also strive for crafting of fabrics but most are of crude designs such as animal skins or loincloths. Weapons are also scarce, some may make use of the random pipes and other objects through the city as a makeshift bludgeon, others may try to sharpen such into lesser bladed or spear tools. Actual blades themselves may be found and used, but anything beyond a traditional kitchen knife is very uncommon and even rarer sharpened(unless one is some high end individual.) Firearms are also very rare and what working ones are known to be in the paws of North Haven(still ammunition is limited.)  Bottles and other containers can be found to aid in carrying water or supplies. Explosives are a big no, even if some exist no one will have the right mind of how to operate them or use them for that matter.

Currency:
Money is useless in this world, value is often placed more in trade or ‘services,’ to acquire anything if one is struggling to naturally obtain it. The very price of a drink could cost one the clothes off their back, something within their possession, or even something of more primal desires. Essentially it is up to those that live within the city to determine if anything is ‘worth,’ it in the end. Also, not everyone is willing to trade, there are those of the rouge nature that will flat out take what they want and predators who may be more interested in the individual than the items themselves.

Allowed Races:
Anthromorphs
Also known as furries, they are humans who appear fully animal. They come in a wide varies, some possess scales from reptilian origins, others furr from mammals, and then there are those with wings of the avian variety. Often the animal they are usually determines their persona to some extent. There are those who strictly indulge in their animal nature and are deemed ‘feral,’ by standards living as wild as the city itself. There are others that hold onto their humanity and try to find their means of survival without falling prey to the beasts that their brethren have become. Not all of them are expected to get along with one another, some may have natural enemies, some may be intolerable to certain species. It is that same lingering humanity that allows them to be judgmental and defines their characters, less they had turned to a complete feral state of living.

Restricted Races:
Humans
This race will be restricted and I will be enforcing limitations on such as the game is more focused and tailor to anthros. I reserve the right to cut off applicants to a human race at any time of my discretion if they begin to outnumber that of anthros. I’m sure not everyone likes being a furry, that is fine. Drakey has no problems with that whatsoever. I do, however, have a problem when everyone wants to be a human, this is not the setting or focus point of such. 

Denied Races:
Animal People
There is a strict difference between animal people and someone who is anthromorphic. Animal people do not possess all the furry traits of an anthro and I will be making no exceptions of allowing such into this game. The concept is not focused around such and though you may attempt to argue that through generations of mutations maybe they not being ones to mutate fully, I will honestly still wave it off and say no. Truthfully, I do adore animal people, but the game itself is more tailored around the aspects of the changed species of anthros.
Other Fantasy Races
No dragons, no unicorns, no dinosaurs, no demons, no elves, no fae, no mutated fifty foot zombies that can shoot fireballs and poop out legions of sparkling vampires. The only allowed races are basic anthros(creatures of non fantasy breeds as mentioned) and humans.

Content:
The game will be extreme, of course. Warning labels will be enforced in post tags for those that may be offended by any content that they may not wish to read. Everyone is not expected or required to take part in any exterminates within this game and will be respected. Mutual respect is expected should you find any material offensive; you do not have to read it, you do not have to participate in it. What happens in some areas as far as content goes does not dictate the entire game being similar, this is a sandbox RP.

If this takes off I would probably go for a female predator (some sort of cat or a fox) who is a lieutenant in the Blood Locust gang or else maybe the head of a (obviously smaller) rival gang.

I would want to make a spider who is a thief and probably deemed a murderer for feasting on people? Lol Is that a crime in this game? Can predators feast on prey?

Thanks, I try to break the norm, but sometimes don't get too many biters. Maybe since all my games fall towards 'Extreme.' :P

Eh? Most of the city is pretty lawless, I mean, beyond certain areas that may be more controlled such as North Haven. West Haven is practically gangland. Unless you are speaking more in general nature of individuals.

Killing and feasting happens(though should be consensus to player characters, but nonimportant NPCs are fair game.)

Spider sounds interesting, though I honestly haven't come across many good sources of more insectoid/arachnid anthromorphs.

How well is this likely to allow for adapting (largely martial) characters from different settings/systems?

I have a mental image of him in my mind. He will be a thief/merchant/collector who preys on scumbags, so the west side will be his favorite dining area. He will have a collection of rare trinkets and items that other characters can haggle him for them. He will also steal the items off the victims he eats. :-)

Well, the short version is that I have a character that was built for Werewolf that I think might work with some tweaking; the character isn't based on the shapeshifting and powers that went along with being a werewolf, and the concept is easy enough - she would just go from being a Mystic Ward to being a Border Ward or something of the kind.

Well, the short version is that I have a character that was built for Werewolf that I think might work with some tweaking; the character isn't based on the shapeshifting and powers that went along with being a werewolf, and the concept is easy enough - she would just go from being a Mystic Ward to being a Border Ward or something of the kind.

Hmmmmm. I'm not the best verse with systems, to be honest, there are only few I have very minimum knowledge on (D&D and that Vampire one, but those are mostly from gaming and not tabletop.) As long as it is some genetic anthro or basic human, that is fine. Werewolves and other more fantasy base creatures of that nature, not so much. The game is mostly centered around normal anthros and whatever traits they adopt from their animal family(venom, silk, defensive spraying, etc-etc.)

What I am asking is whether it would work to lose the 'werewolf' part where she can change into and out of the hybrid form (as well as all the other powers that went with the original), and just become the hybrid - the anthro, in other words - with the wolfish instincts (and senses) and human smarts. And maybe sized down a little - the original description had her between seven and eight feet tall in hybrid, and I am guessing you would like that sized down to something a little more reasonable for a timber wolf anthro..?

Hmm....interesting. I honestly have to say that the first character that came to mind was a bat-Anthro who is in the upper management of the Blood Locusts. If not them, then a rival gang....either way, he might not be second in command or anything, but he'd be in the inner circle. Like...head (or second in command) of their little Secret Police. Y'know, Enforcement does all the muscle work and whatnot, but they have their own little group that goes around ferreting out information, bribing certain people, blackmailing others...the dirty, indirect work that any gang needs in order to function properly. I just need to find a decent picture of a Bat-thro that isn't cute and cuddly. I have a very clear picture in my head, it's just about finding a picture that matches it. >.>

That sounds good to me. ^^ Also, bat-male hunting is bit tricky. Even on image dump site of anthros I use to browse, I haven't seen any I like in style. v.v Same thing mostly for few other exotics such as sharks, snakes, and various reptiles.



Edit: Well, will take this as solid base of shown interest for character sheets to be drafted, I will probably have template up tomorrow or day after(at latest.) At the moment, I do not have too much time as I have to get ready for work soon.

Something like that, but it moves and speaks in a more refined manner. Like...that, mixed with The Architect from Dragon Age, mixed with the stereotypical depiction of a Noble Vampire. So the character looks hideous and vicious and ugly, but is generally civil and controlled (until it gets angry).

Would that kind of characterisation, as well as him being in a position of authority within the information-wing of the Blood Locusts - like their version of the Gestapo or KGB - be acceptable? If not, I can think up a different kind of character, no problem. ^_^




And yeah, I noticed! It took me HOURS to hunt down those images. >.< The image I had in my head was kinda like a mix between The Architect, a bat (obviously), the Nazgul and the Mouth of Sauron, where it moved very gracefully, had bat-like elongated features and it generally keeps its wings folded around it, like a cloak, disguising its deceptively muscular form...since, y'know, Bats are generally pretty well muscled. XD

Yeah, pics are hard to come by. I cannot find a mink I like and even the tigress pics I'm finding are kinda meh. Might end up going fox after all. And since Vergil intends to make someone from the Blood Locusts I will just have my girl run a rival gang that's been under the radar for a while but that is starting to make some real moves.

Of course, now I'm torn: On the one hand, my character could be in the Blood Locusts...on the other hand, any Iron Fisted government like that of the Northern Sector is going to have a Secret Police branch of the military....gah, decisions decisions! Or maybe a mixture of both...perhaps he is the head of the Secret Police in the Northern District, and happens to have fingers in the pies of the gangs in the West, so he knows what's going on and can keep people there in a relative state of disorder while the new government sets itself up into a position of strength....that's something that a Secret Policeman would do, isn't it? Hmm....

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I like it. So! New plan! My character is the head of this Totalitarian governments Gestapo, and he has contacts, informants and even some personal roles in the gangs in West Haven so he knows what's going on and can even interfere here and there if one gang is getting too big for its britches. Hell!

Kokaine, what say you to a bit of inter character espionage? The Blood Locusts have gotten too big, and MC plans to use your character and her gang to knock the Locusts down a few pegs before they get to be too big to manipulate?

I don't have anything concrete yet but in my head I am seeing my girl as having a twin and most, if not all, will believe her brother is the one running things. Of course, she's really the one in control behind the scenes and she shall be quite manipulative. The pair will have their origins in the South but will have been plucked from their way of life and raised with the hope of them becoming civilized individuals... *snickers* ::)

And of course, in the case that anyone is looking in and considering, the twin is open to play.

Oooooh, nice...I can see some interesting angles you can take with that already, as well as some rather amusing interactions between her and MC! :D I'm undecided about MC's origins, though...I might just have it be left deliberately ambiguous, though he will always travel with a "Heavy" bodyguard. Obviously s/he will be open to player control if anybody is interested. ^_^

I can so totally see some conversations with "her brother" that MC has that are actually directed at her. XD That will be fun to play, if we get the chance :D

Aliases: Comissar Ravan, The Whisper, Belamoss Namia, Victor Vormoss, etc etc; he has far, far too many to count.
Occupation: Commander in Chief of North Haven's Secret Police, and head of a vast network of spies and informants that monitor and manipulate dealings in most of the Havens in the city.
Race: Human-Bat.
Gender: Male.
Sexuality: Who knows? He has been seen enjoying men and women when the mood strikes him, but who knows the full extent of his sexuality?
Affiliation: Nominally, North Haven's totalitarian regime, but in actuality? Himself.


= = Further Information = =

Figure:
Vassago stands at roughly seven feet tall and is of a lithely muscular, athletic build. Whilst not as muscularly large and obviously powerful as, say, the wolves and bears, he is still muscular enough to take care of himself and to lift himself up with his own power if necessary. His body is hard and lean from years of personal refinement and conditioning, since in the world he inhabits, you can't trust anybody else to have your best interests at heart. His hands and arms are connected directly to his wings which follow along afterwards with every motion, so he keeps them crossed in front of him - making the wings form a robe-like shroud around his body - at all times. His chest and stomach are muscular, broad and powerful, and his head is one with extremely discerning eyes, tall, powerful and expressive ears, and a set of fangs and teeth not to be underestimated lightly. His legs, too, are powerful, though not nearly as large and prominent as his arms or back. When walking, he tends to remain upright on his legs, though if he feels threatened or angry, he will drop forwards onto his much longer arms, his wings bristling backwards as he exposes his ferocious teeth and claws. His wings are extremely large, their full wingspan measuring easily in excess of seven or eight feet at their widest point.

Personality:
Vassago generally retains a calm, refined, almost cultured approach to his dealings, speaking in a clipped, precise manner with very few expansions or clarifications to what he means required. He tends to disdain violence - or at least, getting his own hands dirty - and prefers to talk his way out of things...though when push comes to shove, he is not above getting violent to achieve his ends if he has to. He is logical and calculating, always doing what is most likely to get him what he wants or needs, and that includes outright threats of violence if he deems it necessary. He also never closes any doors; anybody he meets, he might need later for a favour or a job, so he does his best to collect all the information he can on somebody before moving on. He never forgets a face or a name, and if they mention something in passing, expect him to be able to recall it on demand the next time you two speak. For that very reason, guard your words carefully; in pursuit of his goals, he is ruthless, unsympathetic and merciless, and will use any detail he can against you. Further, whilst he abhors the "Ferals" who have fallen completely to their animalistic nature, he does allow himself some baser pleasures...once every couple of days or so, he allows himself to indulge in his baser instincts, and keeps several different "servants" on-wing to sate his more primal urges. He is but an animal, after all, and if you don't allow yourself to indulge and instead bottle up your natural yearnings, well, you get distracted and stressed...and if you haven't got your health, what do you have? All work and no play, after all.

Strengths:
Bats, by nature, have very powerful upper bodies in order to fly, and are in possession of extremely sharp fangs and talons for catching, paralysing and eating prey and other foods; since bats are omnivores, they're also relatively adaptable in terms of their food. Further, their eyesight is - contrary to popular belief - roughly three or four times better than your average humanoid, and is very good at seeing in low-light ennvironments. Their hearing is by far their greatest asset, however, able to discern the direction and distance of a sound with seemingly preternatural accuracy. Bats also have access to a Radar-like sense of echolocation, allowing them to navigate in the pitch black with little to no margin of error. Vassago himself is also extremely adept at picking out and remembering specific details, and is very good at manipulating others into believing exactly what he wants them to believe. He also has access to a vast network of informants and spies that he uses both to further his own agenda, and that of the totalitarian government whose Secret Police he heads.

Weaknesses:
Despite all his natural advantages, he does have some glaring weaknesses; for one, his sense of smell is barely at the level of "average," and despite his muscular nature and his own conditioning, he is nowhere near the physical equal of a Bear or a Lion or a Wolf. They are all far better suited to combat than he is, which is exactly why he avoids fighting whenever he can and never travels anywhere without at least one of his bodyguards. He is also, being a bat, hardly what you could call most individuals idea of "attractive," so often has to use his position and authority to secure "willing" partners for his more base impulses.

Bio:
Nobody actually knows who Vessago is, where he came from or even if that's his real name...hell, most people don't even know what kind of Bat he actually is, though that is all largely of Vessago's own design. All that is known is that he appeared around a decade ago in the lower ranks of the newly-formed Secret Police of North Haven, purportedly hailing from South Haven, and quickly rose through the ranks thanks to his cunning, his ruthlessness and his ability to make problems for himself "disappear." Soon enough, he had entered the Inner Circles of the Totalitarian Elite, and secured himself a promotion to head of the organisation he'd started at the bottom of. He got himself a Lordship, a personal fortune not to be scoffed at, and surrounded himself both with lackies and yes-men and - hidden among them - actual competent advisers who he could still be sure of being rid of should he require it. His connections also seemed oddly extensive, him having agents in all Havens, having aliases with every major group and him having fingers in seemingly every pie in existence. He helped orchestrate the Blood Locusts rise to power, as well as several of their biggest setbacks, he has a hand in the politics of the wild Tribes, he has a hand in some small survivor groups of South Haven and even - it is rumoured - has an agent or three among those in North Haven who plot against the Totalitarian Government. They're small fry for the time being, but having sleeper agents there early means that he can manipulate and position them according to his own grand designs. Nobody who has any information on him is actually sure that it's accurate, and nobody who has accurate information on his origins without his consent has long since disappeared...nobody knows what his long term goals are, but everybody likely knows him under one of his aliases. All that can be said for certain is that he has big plans; bigger by far than the Totalitarian North Haven, or the petty tribal squabbles of the Wilds, or the Gangs and Locusts...and whatever they are, if you're in the way...you'll soon know about it.

Name: Darwin Spinner
Aliases: The Weaver
Occupation: Master Thief, Collector, and Owner of a reclusive shop in North Haven called “Antiquity.” It isn't a well-known shop. It is rather kept underground for several objects of interest reside there and some law enforcement may find them unfavorable. But Darwin likes to set up shop where the money is, and what is a more profitable haven than the greed that exists in the north?

Figure: The Weaver, as mysterious as his name makes him seem, is a spider. From his lengthy claw-like toes to his head, he is 5’10” (70 in). From his toes to the tips of his tarsal claws, he is 7’0” (84 in). He weighs 95 lbs (45 kg) and his body is slender in build. His muscles are covered in silky smooth hairs, hairs that are brown in color and are known as urticating hairs for when raised act as a self-defense mechanism. He can shoot these hairs from his body, and like a plume of cacti thorns, they can blind and severely irritate the skin or mucous membranes of other species.

The Weaver has eight arms total and two legs. His longest arms sprout from his back and arch over his head like a pair of crochet needles, but they are as sharp as knives. They assist him in weaving intricate traps, cocoons, and other structures with his web. His second pair of arms branch from his cephalothorax like a humanoid. His fingers are black and clawed, his palms and digits segmented with a black hard chitinous shell. His third pair of arms are beneath the second and are similar in length. His fourth pair branch from his back and are only a few inches shorter than his first pair. They are sickle-like and assist him in weaving...or spearing his prey.

The Weaver has eight eyes and two of those sets are in the back of his head. He wears a black bandanna with holes cut into it for each of his eyes and beneath it is a mouth without lips. The teeth of his mouth are black and jagged and folded inside are two black chelicera. When The Weaver has his prey snagged within his clutches, when he is feeding, his jaws will part and his two chelicera will unfold, extending from his mouth to stab his prey with the hook-like fangs on the end. From those fangs, he will inject a deadly neurotoxin into the prey’s body, which will rapidly decompose it, reducing it into a sip-able sludge or drink. From this same mouth, he breathes his web, his spinnerets are located above his lungs and his silk escapes his throat on a breath. His hands and his tarsal claws are used to weave his webs.

The Weaver’s lightweight body is pretty sturdy but still delicate to harm. Beneath his hairs is a chitinous skin that allows him to resist scratches, scrapes, and bruises but not cracks.

Persona:

Darwin is an interesting arachnid. He’s a thief and a merchant, but he isn’t a kleptomaniac nor is he greedy. He simply does what needs to be done to survive, and he does so the best way he knows how. He knows that he isn’t the hardiest creature out there but cleverest hm…he wouldn’t debate it. He is completely confident in his abilities until he’s used up all of his aces but that raaaarely happens.

The Weaver is smooth when it comes to making a profitable trade. He has the ‘I’ll scratch your back if you’ll scratch mine,’ business ethic, and if a customer wants to go out of his or her way to make his life easier in order to get an item off of him, he wouldn’t complain or refuse the offer. The spider is rather reclusive for he doesn’t like big crowds or too many people browsing about his shop. All that would lead to is other thieves stealing from him, him hunting those thieves down, and then overfilling his food storage cavern. What a pain.

He has a dark sense of humor. If one ate other creatures and cannibalized on one’s own race, then one would understand. He’s malicious when it comes to hunting or even killing his prey. His reasons are that he tries to avoid building a relationship with potential food. Food is food—fat ones are definitely food. He just loves fat people. They’re slow, big and juicy and easy to catch. They always make such an exciting subject for conversation, especially when he misses a meal.

Darwin has a big appetite but he really doesn’t eat much because he liquefies his food. He consumes a liquid protein diet, and one fat creature can last him for an entire week before he would need to find another chubby lumpkins.

First impression, the spider is creepy as he would be. He is a spider after all. He is far from cute and cuddly. It doesn’t help that he likes to hide somewhere in his shop and give off the effect that he’s just some omnipotent being whose voice carries around the cave. Really, he would probably be relaxing in a cocoon hammock and come out once he had a customer worth his time. Once a person is in the spider’s proximity and domain, you won’t believe how many tripwires they’ve triggered to alert him of their presence. Any enemy would be in danger to be anywhere near him if they came to cause him harm. Darwin is booby-trap central!

Any who, the spider is actually quite friendly in an interesting way. While his personality may not always win his customers, those who are friends with him will benefit from his services. Just as smooth as his business practice is, the arachnid is just as smooth when he talks. His voice has a wispy air to it and a slight depth that comes from his chest. He likes when his customers offer him a good deal and he doesn’t mind an excursion partner. He does like to go exploring for gadgets and gizmos of plenty and thing-a-bobs galo~ore!

Strengths:

Urticating Hair: The Weaver’s hair are urticating. They can severely irritate the skin and mucous membranes of other anthropomorphs when released. There are millions of hair follicles that cover his body with the same irritating properties as a cactus.

Neurotoxin: The Weaver's neurotoxin is deadly but can be used for medicinal properties (if he allows such). The neurotoxin has multiple side effects in low doses if one were to escape him before liquefaction: loss of muscle control, respiratory distress (asphyxiation), paralysis, severe inflammation of the bitten area and priapism for several hours. Erectile dysfunction is one of the medicinal properties his venom can be used to treat as well as temporary erectile augmentation, which is his best-selling tonic.

Web: The Weaver’s web is the toughest biological material and is ten-times tougher than Kevlar. Like the Darwin Bark Spider from which he gets his name, his webs can span out several feet, and it is unknown what the maximum length it can be. He can produce multiple strand-widths from white visible thread-like strands to thin barely visible fishing lines. His web production requires lots and lots of energy and protein, and so he will always have a meal before he attempts to weave anything. The Weaver doesn't knit clothing from his web, despite how tempting it would be to do so. If the North Haven military found out about his web strength, then they would want to either destroy him so that potential criminals couldn't use it or exploit him and his business.

Strength: The Weaver has the strength of a jumping spider amplified to humanoid proportions. Because he is slender and weak in appearance, and a "bug" or "insect" to some, it is easy for another predator to underestimate him. The grip of a jumping spider can hold 170 times the spider's own body weight (16, 150 lbs - 8 tons (for Darwin's body weight)) before a weight exceeding that calculation would cause him to detach from a wall or release an enemy. Jumping spiders have an internal hydraulic system that alters body fluid pressure to extend their legs, causing them to make jumps 50 times the length of their bodies (75 meters in Darwin's case).

Wall Climber: The Weaver has various hairs on his body. Out of the mixture of hairs are hairs called setae, which give Darwin the ability to defy gravity by standing horizontally on a wall or even hanging upside down from flat ceilings or surfaces. His strength allows him to hold his weight plus 170 times his weight before he would be ripped free of the ceiling by gravity (and of course the weight). Van der Waal forces, caused by moving electrons, create hot spots of attraction between nearby molecules. With these minuscule charges acting on the 600,000-plus setules in each furry seta, he can hang upside down or from a wall with ease.

Kiting: By releasing his web into the air in the form of a chute or kite, Darwin can catch a good draft that can carry him up, up, and away!

Perfect Eyesight: No; he doesn't have enhanced vision to see great distances. No; his eight eyes have the average eyesight of a Jumping spider with perfect clarity. The one thing The Weaver lacks is blind spots. This man has eyes in the back of his head, literally!

Master Acrobat: When you’re almost as light as a feather (exaggeration), getting around is too easy. He moves up and down buildings, across great gaps, and can even fly through the air only with the use of his webs. He is highly flexible, capable of sliding through even the narrowest of crannies. He is interesting to watch move.

Gifted Thief: This might be just his ego, but he feels that there isn't a thing out there that he can't steal.

Brilliant Strategist and Trapper: This is The Weaver’s primary method of defense. His mind. He sets traps. Traps his prey don't even know about for they are barely seen and once they’re caught, they better pray they can escape his web and not entangle themselves more. His traps play into his ability to not only catch food for himself but to steal.

Shrewd Businessman: The Weaver does not play. He is hard to haggle with and can be quite stubborn when it comes to trade. He believes that he goes through much hardship and anguish finding the items he does, and then resupplying? Ugh. You better have something extremely valuable to win his business.

Intimidating: This is actually a strength and a weakness. Most people of the Old World were terrified of spiders and have arachnophobia. While this can give him the upper hand in a situation, it can also put him at risk for usually when people are frightened of bugs they like to smash them.

Weaknesses:

Brittle Body: Darwin is a brittle creature and naturally, his body makes up for it by being one of the most deadly creatures on earth. He will keep his enemies at a distance for if an enemy got a hold of him, he could be easily and severely injured or killed.

Hyper Metabolism: Due to his body constantly needing nourishment every time he uses his thread, Darwin likes to eat regularly and so he stocks up on many a meal. His store has several cocoons hidden in the back like food storage. Some of those victims are still alive for he likes to have a fresh meal and he will liquefy them when he's ready to eat.

Big & Juicy: Darwin likes it when his prey is big and juicy. If you want to cut a good deal with him, then bring him a captive. If you don't want to feel too much guilt, then bring him a criminal. Just make sure it's big and juicy. He likes the fat ones especially for he can store them for long periods. He just can't resist!

Coward: When shit hits the fan or the enemy proves overwhelming, Darwin would be the first to curl up and flee. He would reason why deal with a situation that he doesn't have to deal with? He is courageous for as long as he knows he has the upper hand, but when it all blows back in his face, the spider can be a crybaby.

Cold, Icy Temperatures: The Weaver prefers the heat and so is rarely seen during the winter temperatures. His shop will be heavily webbed for insulation because he cannot stand the cold and ice!

Bio:

The Weaver to those who have never heard of him is a bedtime story and legend told to cubs of the East Haven tribes and a superstition whispered in West Haven. The Weaver is the devourer of bad children when they don’t do as they’re told and the consequence of bad karma for gangers. People disappear, and it isn’t always at night. In their place will be strands of web, the sign that The Weaver had visited. The more primitive tribes tend to leave offerings for The Weaver on small shrines, and in return, they will see their offerings traded for an interesting gift.

The Weaver is Darwin Spinner, one of the few Arachnae found outside of South Haven. He was born with an intelligence unlike the other spiderlings in his mother’s nest. His intelligence was what had him leaving her care early, while the others remained. Some to be eaten to satiate her hunger and others to roam the southside ignorantly as victims to merciless predators. Fuck that life!

Darwin became an explorer. He always liked collecting interesting antiques of the Old World and gradually as his collection grew, he realized that most of the stuff wouldn’t benefit him if he just kept it. Thus, the spider opened his underground shop in North Haven, Antiquity. He’s had the shop for years and will move it if its location becomes compromised. He has been able to steer clear of law enforcement for several years. It’s not so hard to do when the store is hidden in the most awkward of places, but every now and then, a customer will stumble across it.

He hunts for relics and food all over the havens, stealing collecting from others including his victims. He took the name the tribes had given him and made it his alias. Because he’s such a recluse, “The Weaver” is all most know of his name. He doesn’t try to draw attention to himself for the least people know about his shop, the better. The customers who actually find his shop are usually the ones worth his time, which is exactly how he likes it.

The Antiquity shop gets customers of all sorts. Sometimes it will be a gang member either seeking information or The Weaver’s enlargement tonic. Darwin has a special policy when it comes to disclosing information about what he learns, hears and knows about specific someones. He will never give the person’s name, but if he knows something, he will always be indirect with his answer. He will refer to the person as “someone” or “someones.” And he will refer to a location as “some place.” He will refer to an object as “something.” The customer will be left to figure the rest out based on the remaining information he offers. The reason why he does this is so that he can’t ever be accused of anything. By doing this, he never says who, what, and where, and so law enforcement ain’t got shit on him! But the store’s usual purpose is to deal in antiques. What people do with the relics is up to them. As long as they give him something valuable in return, then he does not have a problem.

His business has been running peacefully for a long time and Darwin is confident that it will continue to do so for as long as he remains neutral and elusive.

Mating: The mating rituals of the Arachnae are rather...weird...and psychotic at times. Mostly because the female insists on trying to eat the male afterwards, which tends to have most males fuck and run. Originally, male spiders of the Old World (the normal kind) didn't have penises. They instead inserted their semen indirectly using limbs called pedipalps. They would basically create bags of semen with their webs and insert them directly into the female spider's vagina. BUT! Having evolved into a humanoid species, the pedipalps have become penises, yes penises. They have two of them and that's not the best part. Just wait for it.

When a male Arachnae of Darwin's species is horny or ready to mate, his body begins to vibrate, producing vibrations that the intended mate will be able to feel stimulating his or her senses. The vibrations mesmerize the intended mate long enough for the male to make a move. Female Arachnae always had to be mesmerized or duped in some form for a male to be able to successfully penetrate her without being captured, bitten, and eaten afterwards. The vibrations often left the female docile long enough for the male to do his thing. Some females were strong and required being bound with webbing, thus Darwin's fetish for bondage.

Now here's the kicker. Darwin's species orgasm long before the partner does. His semen will fill his pedipalps, simulating an engorged penis and once he has intercourse with the female, he will detach his pedipalp (yes, his penis!) and leave it inside her to continue to ravage her. Seeing as he has two penises, he can break one off in her vagina and her anus if he wanted to, leaving her to be ravaged long after the intercourse is complete. Originally, the spiders of the Old World did this so that other male spiders would not be able to mate with the female. At least not until their pedipalps fell out. It was to ensure that their offspring would pass on and not the others. Darwin, overtime, will regenerate his pedipalps to mate again another time if he so wished. Isn't spider sex interesting?

How scientifically accurate are we making these characters? They are mutated humans gone anthropomorph over time. So, they have human and animal properties which should make them super human. So nobody should really be role playing their character like a normal fox in our world because that wouldn't be the case if a fox humanoid existed. But just let me know lol. It is important because I love me some science.

I made Darwin brittle because most insects, especially spiders can be crushed under a boot, but then I tried to make him physically weak, but spiders are actually strong. Even stronger if a human were to possess spider strength. The Jumping Spider can send 170 times its own weight through the air lol.

As for scientific accuracy, naturally they already adapt whatever basic animal instincts and traits their species may possess. 'Super' human to some extent in comparison to normal humans.

Technically exoskeletons are more tougher than that, they are just easily crushed given differential of mass/weight vs them.

Insects/Arachnids are probably the hardest to truly balance out in a game factor, given many have a large multiple times their capabilities of their size(certain dung beetle able to pull 1k+ its weight.) Given such, I rather their physical capabilities be toned down so they may not be too game breaking; although, I doubt we will probably see that many player characters of such kingdom categories.   

Edit: Also, Koko looks good so far. ^^ Didn't almost notice it till I was scrolling back.

I'll try to get up sheet thread by Sun/Mon. I want to make time to add other additional info there in a structural, categorized manner; with room for player posted approved sheets to follow afterwards.

Yeah, I figured because he isn't a "scorpion" or crustacean that he shouldn't be super dense. He's a spider lol and I wasn't going to make him Scorpion/Spider hybrid because that would definitely break the game lol. But thank you for answering that. I guess I can give him his strength but I'll keep the brittleness. Wait until you see the section where I write how he mates. ::)

Also, I'm going to change his sexuality to bisexual because I read that spiders are mostly homosexual but mate with females only to continue the life cycle, thus why female spiders try to eat them. Not just because they see male spiders as an anomaly but also because they're just hungry bitches lol. Of course, it is slightly different with every species of spider, but I settled on what I'd do with him, and if someone would actually be interested in that sort of thing, then wow, and great lol. It'll be interesting to write.  ;D

Stillwater stands around seven feet tall, thick coat of black with long red guard-hairs. Her ruff and mantle are black, her throat and chest grey ticked. To store the few items she carries, she wears a leather harness. A heavy blade rests in a decorated leather sheath hanging under her left arm, and she wears a twisted wire torc around her throat.

Other decorations are visible; a set of silver rings in her right ear, a few bone beads woven into her ruff, clicking softly together when she moves her head. Around her upper arm, another coiled band of wire holds a few pieces of painstakingly polished green stone that Stillwater likes for their patterns. 

When she speaks, her voice is a low alto, quiet and assured. She doesn't raise it often, but barks or, rarely, howls are not unknown to her.

Persona:
For all her appearance, Stillwater lives up to her name; there is always a lot more going on under the surface than is apparent. She is loyal, honourable after the way of her kin, and pragmatic enough to not hold grudges.

Working - or hunting - she is taciturn to the point of silence, intent on the job at hand, whatever that may be. Professional, some might say.

Casually, she shows a dry sense of humour some have called morbid.

Strengths:
Like most wolves, Stillwater is an excellent hunter. Her nose is very keen, and her hearing is generally excellent.
Physically, she is formidable, strong and well-trained in combat, and smart enough to strategise and use pack tactics in ways her lupine ancestors wouldn't have thought of (or needed).
Stillwater has a good 'ear' for music, and near perfect pitch. She probably inherited both - her mother and sire were both among the pack's best singers.

Weaknesses:
Stillwater's vision is no more or less acute than a 'normal' humans, and she is colorblind. She is not a sprinter, either - she needs a little time to run down prey.
While she is a social animal, she is not very good at anything past pack-politics; she lacks the necessary patience and 'read'. Yes, she could be seen as naïve.

Soooo....I have two NPC's connected to my character...one is his personal Bodyguard - like, Stillwaters pack provides him with basic muscle, but he has a favoured personal bodyguard who stays by his side at all times - and one is his personal "pleasure slave" for slaking his more...carnal desires. If any players are interested in making those NPC's Pc's, let me know! :D

Also, Blackthorne, just looked over the Spiders new bio....I have to say, I'm interested in seeing how the Master Criminal and the head of the Gestapo / KGB / insert fascist secret police here interact. Who said he knows? Vassago doesn't deal with petty criminals personally! Thing is, everybody has levers, everybody has weaknesses and motivations...and with enough observation, you can figure out what they are. And once you know what they are...it's trivially easy to manipulate them. I mean...everybody has vices, and even if you KNOW that somebody is playing you...they can still be very hard to resist. All it takes is him watching Weaver for a while, gathering intel...then a series of seemingly unrelated "clients" come to him, all wanting seemingly unrelated things....and Vassago gets all he wants without Weaver being any the wiser. Weaver is clever...but how do you guard against a "play" you don't know is going on? :P

Buuuut, that's just an example. He probably hasn't tried anything like that yet, but it's an example of how he might go about it.

Point is...Vassago isn't a direct man. He moves in the shadows. He moves sideways, diagonally...never in the direction you expect. And he only reveals himself directly if absolutely necessary. And as it stands, I don't think he's made himself known to Weaver just yet. He may have visited under an alias and in disguise, but being one of the few bats in Haven, it's doubtful. With an adversary like Weaver, he would want every edge he could get...and he'd only approach him directly if there was no other choice. If it were up to him, Weaver wouldn't know that he was dealing with Vessago until well after the fact :P

Figure: Standing at roughly 5'5" (165cm) and weighing around 120 lbs (54kg), Nora has an athletic build with wide set hips, robust thighs, a lean, cinched in waist as well as an ample bust. The fur that engulfs her entire body is a tawny brown colour with accents of cream at her ears, wrists, ankles and tail. Her eyes are an unusual rose colour, outlined by a dark set of eyelashes. A pair of overly large ears are set at the crown of her head, hanging down to reach the middle of her back; despite them being fairly slim, the halo of camel fur creates the illusion of bulkier ears. However, if she is instructed to enter a store and purchase something, she is prepared for the conversation with the clerk to a degree. Nora is also very curious by nature, which doesn't help her with the 'getting into trouble' thing. That being said, she is very loyal and tight lipped so long as everything falls in line with her morals and beliefs.

Strengths:
Heightened Sense - Rabbits in general have a heightened sense of smell, sound and sight.

Agility & Jump Ability - Nora is no exception to her rabbit-kin; she has amazing stamina, speed and has extremely strong legs. This is useful in her day job as well as getting her out of awkward or dangerous situations.

Eyesight - It's not a myth, rabbits can see in the dark! OK, it's not anywhere near as clear as the myth, but her exceptional eyesight is not only great at spotting things in broad daylight, but Nora can also see pretty well in complete darkness.

Memory - Photographic, to be exact. Nora has a rare ability to be able to remember most things without even going over them twice. Books for example; she can read a page once and know what was written down (mostly.) This proves to be both a gift and a curse at times.

Flexible - It proves useful when one needs to fit into a small space to hide.


Weaknesses:
Prey Animal - Nora is constantly being looked down upon by predatory animals. Rabbits are considered one of the weaker Prey animals meaning Nora is near the bottom of the food chain and some even hunt rabbits for their 'lucky' left foot.

Clumsy - Probably one of the most ungraceful creatures to have ever been created, Nora can manage to trip over air in the most inventive of ways.

Black & White - Nora's moral compass, while a wonderful strength, can also be a big flaw of hers. The ability to see the 'shades of grey' as opposed to only seeing 'black & white' is something that Nora does not possess. Rarely will Nora see anything other then how it is. If she considers something being morally wrong, she won't do it despite the possibility for consequences or benefits along the way.


Bio: Born in West Haven to a single mother, Nora had a total of three female siblings. Her mother always told them stories of their father when the children were young; he was a strong rabbit, brave and kind, the type to help those in need and stick up for those who were less fortunate. Unfortunately the reality was that he’d left before the children were born after gambling habits proved to be too much for him, a huge amount of debt the only thing of him remaining.

Years passed. Her mother did what she could to make ends meet and her father stayed out of the picture. Until one day he didn’t. He returned when Nora and her sisters were about thirteen years old, apologizing for all he’d done and asking for help; it was no surprise that he needed money of all things. At first her mother refused him; she needed to care for herself and her litter, however after constant pressure from him she found ways to give him what she could. He stayed with them for a few months after she’d given him the first payment, coming and going as he pleased, leaching off their mother while pretending to be a father to Nora and her siblings.

Almost half a year since her father moved in with the family, the Blood Locust gang came looking for him. Despite him not being home at the time of their visit, they barged their way into the home, roughed up Nora’s mother in front of the group of scared children and trashed the house. They promised to return ever week to collect money to cover the debt owed by their father. And they did. It was safe to assume that their father wasn’t returning after the first two weeks of his absence and two beatings from the gang. Regardless of the payments their family made, the Blood Locust gang continued to return, demanding more each time while taking out their frustrations on the mother rabbit. Or maybe they were just having fun.

Beatings turned into rape, rape turned into kidnapping and god knows what else occurred back at the Blood Locust home. Their mother was taken first, only to be returned bloody, drained and emotionally defeated. Nora and her siblings were next, abused one by one in the ‘safety’ of their family home. The acts showed no signs of stopping at that point. It wasn’t until her mother didn’t return one night that Nora and her sisters acted, leaving their empty, destroyed home in hopes of security away from the nightmare they lived. The bunnies changed their names and started a new life in hopes of being forgotten by the Blood Locust gang.

Time took its toll and the sisters ended up going their separate ways to build their own lives. Nora had had a job for a few months at that point, working for a Rooster by the name of Robby Rowling. His business dealt with delivers, collections and general courier business and was based out of a fairly large building in the centre of West Haven. The business involves Robby taking jobs at the request of others while his workers pick up jobs of their choice from the notice board inside ‘Runners Roost.’ He might not be the nicest boss around and he certainly doesn’t cut the rabbit any slack but the job pays well enough for Nora to afford her own place, albeit a small place, and survive on the day to day.

Figure:
Stillwater stands around seven feet tall, thick coat of black with long red guard-hairs. Her ruff and mantle are black, her throat and chest grey ticked. To store the few items she carries, she wears a leather harness. A heavy blade rests in a decorated leather sheath hanging under her left arm, and she wears a twisted wire torc around her throat.

Other decorations are visible; a set of silver rings in her right ear, a few bone beads woven into her ruff, clicking softly together when she moves her head. Around her upper arm, another coiled band of wire holds a few pieces of painstakingly polished green stone that Stillwater likes for their patterns. 

When she speaks, her voice is a low alto, quiet and assured. She doesn't raise it often, but barks or, rarely, howls are not unknown to her.

Persona:
For all her appearance, Stillwater lives up to her name; there is always a lot more going on under the surface than is apparent. She is loyal, honourable after the way of her kin, and pragmatic enough to not hold grudges. And damnit, she stays bought.

Working - or hunting - she is taciturn to the point of silence, intent on the job at hand, whatever that may be.

Casually, she shows a dry sense of humour some have called morbid.

Strengths:
Like most wolves, Stillwater is an excellent hunter. Her nose is very keen, and her hearing is generally excellent.
Physically, she is formidable, strong and well-trained in combat, and smart enough to strategise and use pack tactics in ways her lupine ancestors wouldn't have thought of (or needed).
Stillwater has a good 'ear' for music, and near perfect pitch. She probably inherited both - her mother and sire were both among the pack's best singers.
As predators go, Stillwater has no real prejudices. Even the weakest prey animal can kill. This has some downsides, socially...

Weaknesses:
Stillwater's vision is no more or less acute than a 'normal' humans, and she is colorblind. She is not a sprinter, either - she needs a little time to run down prey.
While she is a social animal, she is not very good at anything past pack-politics.
Yes, she could be seen as naïve.
As predators go, Stillwater has no real prejudices. Even the weakest prey animal can kill, and she is honest enough to mention it, where someone else might dismiss it.
Honesty is usually a good thing. Stillwater doesn't always have a good 'read' for when it isn't.

Bio

   Aneva is one of a litter of five, the largest of the three females. Of the five, she and her brothers were the ones who turned to the family business, so to speak. Her two sisters preferred other, less immediately risky lines of work within the close-knit pack.
   The second of the five to earn her name, Aneva became 'Stillwater' before her first hunt, dealing with her yearmates and littermates in the usual cub scraps and mock-hunts and coming out consistently in the top three. Working with the other young hunters, almost always, her team was first. Still waters hide many secrets, the elders said, and so she was named.
   
   After their first hunt, the young wolves were given the choice. The warden's road, or the pack. Stillwater chose the warden and learned to fight. To hunt is one thing, but to fight - to know how best to bring down another predator - that was harder work. Stillwater learned how to wield many weapons, and more importantly, the major weaknesses and strengths of all the known  inhabitants, particularly the most common. She learned how to work with them, and how to defeat them.

Likes: Flowers, being combed, freshly baked ... anything, really. She also likes to sing.
Dislikes: Stupid people of any stripe, being cold and wet, anything that makes her fur sticky. Wailing cubs will also put her ears back.

Windmane's pack has been raising and training such for as long as she can remember, and their small patch of territory has remained more or less safe as a result. So Stillwater is told, anyway. They make a very good living hiring out small groups to protect the VIPs of (several) territories.

I still like this idea, and I think I'm going to run with it - the top one percent of their talent, say, ends up in Vassago's employ?

Which would explain why Stillwater isn't presently numbered among them; good as she is, she isn't quite that good. Now, one of her brothers...

Sounds good! So, she sends the top 1% of her soldiers to be his private bodyguard force, with the best soldier being his personal bodyguard - the guy who practically never leaves his side, and the head of his personal guard - and he uses his pull to keep her appraised of all threats and plots against her pack and, if another pack starts plotting an attack and her pack can't handle it, he "arranges" a few unfortunate incidents to keep them occupied.

Oooh....maybe one of her brothers is the best soldier in the pack, so he's the NPC who's Vassago's personal bodyguard? :-)

Could certainly happen. I can definitely see it.
... probably appropriate. One of her brothers is black-furred, the other has more red and tan in his coat. Got a preference?

Also, technically, Stillwater isn't the one who runs the pack - the Alpha is another wolf called Windmane. Also female, so .. easy mistake to make, although I think she's probably white, or at least grey, and probably faster. I didn't want to saddle Stillwater with a pack to run. ^^;

It's a large pack. Stillwater is one of the rank and file. Within the pack, probably Delta until she's earned a few more accolades and has proved she is worthy.
Or has the chops to knock one of the higher ranked down a peg. The system isn't very complicated, but it does work.

As for which one Vassago keeps at his side ... hm. Probably the pure-black one. He's the eldest, and doesn't like the name he got saddled with, so he answers to Arnulf.

Ah, I see. So they've possibly met in passing, but Vassago interacts more with the leadership than her...so they've passed each other once or twice, he's spoken to her once or twice, but otherwise they're at a kind of "She knows about the arrangement, just not the detail." Sounds good!

Pure black one it is! What special skills does he have? What kind of attitude does he have in general? Y'know, the sort of thing I need to know if I'm gonna occasionally direct his actions as an NPC...unless you want to write him opposite Vassago?

Hmmm....now I am tempted to make a reptilian character.  Either a Komodo Dragon or a King Cobra.  The former would be a more brutish fighter while the latter would be a more stealthy killer.  I'll keep an eye on this and look out for character image ideas.

Ranulf

Ranulf is the oldest, and from the top of his head to the bottoms of his feet, he is black. He's only a little vain about his luxurious pelt, and has a fondness for ornaments that set it off, when he's not 'on duty'.
When he's on, most people never seem to realise he's there. As a result, he hears almost everything, and remembers most of it.
Strengths: Ranulf is fast, strong and possessed of possibly more than his fair share of smarts and good looks. He is very, very good at his job...
Weaknesses: Ranulf is vain, and has a vicious temper. It doesn't have many triggers, but he very much earned his pack name, and he really hates to be reminded of it. Like most wolves, he is colour-blind, and his vision isn't any better than a human's.

   Ranulf stands seven and a half feet tall barefoot, and under his soft black pelt is a whole lot of very solid muscle. Very few people realise just how big he really is, or how fast that bulk can move. Like most of his kin, he carries his weapons and other gear on a leather harness. Boiled leather finished in a matte black covers most of his torso, added protection for his vitals.

I'm thinking about making a character who is the Chieftain of a tribe based loosely off of a Jackson Chameleon.  He is the younger brother of the crocodile leader of the Blood Locusts, BUT because he had a head injury when he was young, he thinks he's a dragon.  His main weapon is a 'sword' that he has cobbled together from a very sharpened lawnmower blade.  His rather strange appearance comes from the fact that his chameleon and crocodile genes are clashing.

How does that sound

EDIT:  On second thought, I think I'll step away for now.  The idea will stay there for now though.

*Chuckles.* Well, you could always look at current listing of people and maybe go from there. I wouldn't want you to feel overburden with making multi characters. ;P

Well my ideas so far are,
A female wolf or fox, that is part of the west haven area. But mainly because that is where she ended up. Her loyalties lie with those that are loyal to her. She is strong willed and rather suborn at times, but takes care of those that normally can't. Thinking of giving her a little sister, that loves to sneak into the city and snatch what she can for trade. Trouble in the making they call her, and she loves it. She earns her keep by being a dancer and singer for those considered well off. In exchange for food, shelter, and protection of course. And the last was a priestess to the to one of the eastern haven tribes. A hunter and one steeped in tradition and loyalty to her tribe. Though I fear this one may be to limited in the ways she could or would interact with the rest of the group. So....maybe not. :P

Well as many as you can reasonably handle.

Those all sound good, although the last would indeed probably leave you with little interaction at moment. A good fraction of players are Northern Haveners. Not saying it is impossible, players could still arrange hunting or scavenging trips involving their creations into different zones. ^^

Ok starting with the sisters and going from there. Mainly because I already feel like they could get along with several of the characters in play.

Like the younger sister would totally click with BunBun. And yes she shall be named her BunBun, ~glomps and playfully noms~ but she'd totally threaten to eat the face of anyone that actually tried to eat her. :P LOLZ Totally odd friends...well pending player approval of course LOLZ.

Though the spider and the bat totally creep her out...and I see her complain about always leaving Darwin's shop sticky! Do you know how hard that stuff is to get out of fur!!!

(totally have other suggestion for the other characters, just don't want to ramble on to much lol)

The older sister is going to be a healer, and mama wolf(or fox) type. And she cares for whoever needs it, and isn't afraid to stand up to anyone. Even if its not ended so well every time. No one messes with mama's pups! Even if they aren't actually pups LOLZ

Still Fox or wolf? What do you all think for these two?

Either way, I personally have more of a soft spot for Foxes, and I personally think that it adds to the "weird friendship" possibility with Bunbun. Buuuut that's just me; I'm not you or the GM, but you asked for opinions, soooo yeah. :P

Neira stands at much taller than her sister at 5' 10" tall. And though she isn't as curvy as her younger sibling, there is no doubt of the supple curve of her hips and breasts. Though her grandest feature has always seemed to be her long legs, or at least that is what she has been told.

Her fur is several shades lighter than her sisters; even her hair on her head has turned pure white over the years. She always seems to be well kept and pulled together, her clothes tend to be less revealing as well. After all, a little mystery was always a good thing right?

She shares the same vibrant eyes as her sister; though Neira has a much more intimidating and convincing glare. Her body also has markings left from their time in the east, though her markings have brought much darker marks upon her fur when compared to her sister Namid.

Persona: Ever the caregiver Neira grew up being the one that always saw to everyone else’s needs. Caring for her elders as well as her little sister, she ends up ignoring her own needs or wants. Neira has a calm spirit, though, and it takes a lot to get her to become angry or to break her will. She may be the one that always becomes the care giver, but there is a reason you never messed with a mama and her pups. Though to be fair, most of those she saw to were far from pups.

Neria has always had a strong sense of self, knowing her role and her desires and not being so weak willed that she let others trample over her or those she cared about. She may be a healer most of the time, but she will defend and fight for what she believes in.

Strong willed, and intelligent, yet tempered with years of wisdom gained by helping others and learning what life can really be like. She is looked to as the voice of reason a great deal of the time, though she insists she is no leader. Beyond that, she is an affectionate person, and though she hasn't taken a lover in some time those in her past know how passionate she can really be.

Strengths:
Healing: Neira has become quiet the healer, many come from the other all over to seek her help and she doesn't turn them away if she can help it. She gardens and farms her own herbs, and with them makes all sorts of healing balms, medicines and so forth. She has taken to learning from an older doctor, or at least what was left of such in this world and has  been expending on it since his passing.

Calming Nature: Unlike her sister, it takes a great deal to break Neira's calm nature. She tends to keep a cool head in whatever situation she is in and in turn helps those around her do the same. It isn't unheard of for her to be the mediator between imposing forces.

Fox Senses and anatomy: She has binocular vision, but their sight reacts mainly to movement. Their auditory perception is acute, being able to hear black grouse changing roosts at 600 paces, the flight of crows at 0.25–0.5 kilometres (0.16–0.31 mi) and the squeaking of mice at about 100 metres (330 ft). They are capable of locating sounds to within one degree at 700–3,000 Hz, though less accurately at higher frequencies. Their sense of smell is good, but weaker than that of specialized dogs.

Archery and Staff fighting: Neira knows she will always have her teeth and claws to fall back on. But she has found she prefers to use more human skills when on the hunt or defending herself. Due to this she has honed two main skills, archery and staff fighting when in close combat.

Weaknesses:

Heart of gold: Neira tens to have a soft heart when given a sad story, though once crossed she isn't easy to forgive. She tends to trust quicker than others or at the least give most everyone a chance until they prove they don't deserve it. She is also known for going out of her way to help others, and would give her last scrap of food to someone else if they needed it more.

Her sister: No one, and she means no one messes with her sister. Being the only family she has left Neira is incredibly protective of Namid. But to those that know this can and have tried to use this against her. Granted they aren't around anymore, so how well that worked out for them is debatable.

Pack Mentality:Neira doesn't do well alone, though she always tries to remain strong she just wasn't built for it. No she doesn't need to be surrounded at all times, but her mood drastically falls when left on her own for too long.

Bio

Neira doesn't speak much about her past, mainly because she'd rather forget it. She and her sister were born in the east actually. To a tribe of predators that seemed lost in tradition and cult like rituals. Making sacrifices to the gods, and branding the young for various reasons. The weak were discarded as if nothing more than a waste of space. It was something she had grown to accept, at least that was until her little sister came along.

When Namid was born, she was much smaller than the others her age, and seemed so weak most thought she wouldn't live. But it was the fact that her mother died giving birth to her that seemed to mark the child's future. The only thing that saved her was their father, and one of the few sentimental moments he may have had. Though he tossed the small pup to Neira and refused to have much to do with her. Than only a young pup herself it was hard, and they seemed to live like outcasts. Especially once their father took on a new mate and their siblings were born. It was painful to realize that they could be so easily replaced.

The years passed and as hard as it was Neira raised her little sister and fought off any that would try and take her, which led to a great deal of pain and healing in the years that followed. Things would have remained like this for well into their adult lives if one of the Alpha's sons hadn't taken interest in Neira. Than only 15 she was already beautiful and skilled beyond her years. But Neira wanted nothing to do with him, especially when he said she'd have to cut ties with her weaker sibling if she wanted to gain position. Neira would have been happy to remain alone, but the boy grew angry after being turned away. And saw to take that anger out on Namid, she was after all, the reason Neira had said no.

It was the last straw, the moment that pushed Neira into running. She packed away some supplies and carried her little sister away from danger under the cover of night. She went west, running as fast and as far as her body would allow. Not stopping until her body finally gave out, her little sister’s cries filling the air as she tried to wake her older sister. Thankfully, they had made it the west, and Namid's cries drew the attention of an elderly Minx couple. The man was a doctor, and his wife an herbalist a rather stunning and affective pair really. They took them in and nursed both of them back to health.

Of course they were both too young to turn away. So they decided to raise the pair as their own, a couple of cats raising a pair of foxes. It was an odd arrangement but one that provided a rather happy home in the end. Years passed, then, with both girls being raised in what seemed like paradise. Neria took to learning everything she could from their would be parents, and Namid just concentrated on being a happy little fox pup.

As the years passed their "parents" grew older, their adoptive father died from a heart failure far too soon as far they were concerned. But by then Neira had become quite the accomplished and well known healer, and Namid well...she was Namid and showed her talents in other areas. Now living in the West and claiming it as their home Neria protects what is her's rather fiercely and does her best to help those around her, running her own practice of sorts for those that come looking for her healing touch.

Namid stands at a whopping 5'5'' short...at least for her kind. But what she lacks in height she makes up for in curves. More voluptuous than her sister, she tends to enjoy and flaunt her curves, her short stature only adding to her playful demeanor.

Her fur takes on an almost grey, blue, and is several shades darker than her older sisters, though it tends to be much more unruly, her tail being one of her main troublesome areas. She has taken to brushing and even banding it to keep the rather fluffy fur under control. Nammi also tends to adorn herself with jewelry and such that she has created with the different items she finds and collects.

Beyond that are her striking blue eyes, a feature she shares with her sister. The blue reflective of the sky during the day, and seems to almost see right through you when truly searching, though her sister tends to be much better at the task than Nammi ever was. She is flirty, fun loving, and bolder than she really should be. Namid also tends to act or speak before she really thinks things through. But that stems back to that impulsive nature of hers.

Despite some of her faults Namid still has many good traits. She is loyal to the end, even if it leads to some less than pleasant situations. Once you earn her trust and lurbs, she will always have your back. Silly at times, yes, but there always seems to be a vibrant energy about her that can bring the light back to most anyone's eyes. Determined, though she may seem flighty or lazy at times you'll find that once Namid has set her mind to something it’s hard to pull her from it.

Flirty...yes very much so, has been known to bounce from relationship to relationship. Yet despite the rumors from angry ex's she isn't as slutty as one may think. Granted she isn't really innocent either, but that all depends on her mood. She can be quick to anger at times as well, but mostly when something or someone she cares about is threatened. She may be little, but she is MIGHTY and will not shy away from getting into it with someone.

Strengths:

Her smaller stature may not make her as strong, but she is one of the fastest of her kind and has learned to use that speed and skill which include running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement to get to or away from just about anywhere.

Tinkering: Nammi tough flighty at times is actually rather intelligent, and has always had a knack for figuring out how things work or finding a purpose for something. She uses this talent to make her series of gadgets, jewelry, fashion items, tools, shelters, and anything else her creative little mind can come up with.

Brawler:
Unlike her sister Nammi has no real training, she is on hell of a street brawler. And isn't afraid to use her teeth and claws if it means coming up the victor. She uses her speed and agility most of the time, and tries to wear down her opponents rather than overpower them.

Stealthy: Namid can hide with the best of them. It was a survival technique that she gained when she was younger, her sister always the one to take on the fight while she hide her little sister away. And as an adult she has honed that skill into a real talent.

Weaknesses:
Her sister and friends: Nammi is clearly one that cares deeply for those she let in close and it tends to get her into trouble. Mainly because she is always quick to defend them, or to help them, even when it means getting into trouble herself.

Temper:
Namid's temper is well known, though it’s for the best of reasons, or so she says. Mess with those she cares about, or her gear, or worse, sees the truth that she doesn't want you to. Nammi tends to get angry before facing that truth or letting someone walk on her people.

Swimming: Nammi can't swim, and hates to have something like that pointed out. So she tends to avoid situations that could showcase that. She knows it is a weakness, but due to her past is afraid to face that weakness...at least for now.

Bio

Namid was born into a world that marked her as unworthy from day one. The tribe she was born to saw her as weak, and not worth the effort, especially considering her mother died giving birth to the young fox. She was marked for death, but found reprieve only because her father had a moment of weakness. At least that was what he always said as the years passed. If it wasn't for her sister Neira she honestly wouldn't have made it through her younger years.

It was part of the reason she felt so bad for what followed. She had tried so hard to stay hidden away, to live, but be the unseen burden. A burden she realized at a very young age. She spent her years in the east being treated like trash, or more so the one that should have died. Still even when branded and tossed nothing but scraps Namid found some way to be happy. After all, she wasn't alone; she always had Neira, even when she felt utterly guilty for relying on her for so much.

But something changed when Neira finally decided to run. Namid honestly wasn't aware of what finally pushed her that far. But she wasn't going to argue and clung to her sister as they escaped during the night and headed West. It was frightening though, especially when Neira collapsed from exhaustion. She screamed for her big sister to wake, and cried hate the fact that she wasn't strong enough to be what she needed. But something unexpected happened, and soon the pair found that they were saved by a pair of older Minx.

Namid quickly found her stride, finally finding out what happiness could truly feel like. She blossomed than, and became a vibrant and lively young woman. Her sister turned to the healing arts, but Namid wasn't sure what she wanted to be, though she did have a gift for tinkering and creating some rather beautiful and useful items. Granted that was after she'd venture to the other Havens to find her needed supplies, at least that was the excuse that she would give. Wild and spirited Namid still had a lot to learn, but she has a great deal of time and potential to do so. And she intends to do just that, while living life to the fullest of course.

Other Information

They aren't twins, Neira is older than her sister. There simply wasn't an age section on the sheet. As for links totally, I can see Namid getting busted sneaking about North Haven and Neira having to come talk her way out of it. That was my first idea, let me get these two done and I planned on reading over the sheets more (rather then skimming them) and will totally be wanting LINKS and PLOTTING!

Hmm I don't think Neira would be into it, and she'd hate for her sister to be. And even if Namid would think it's awesome, she probably doesn't have the skill for the KGB LOL. Have you seen the new Gothem show, think young cat woman (only Namid is 19-20ish). Has some skills, more getting around the city and having the right info. But clearly has more to learn before reaching the skill set of catwoman in the future hehe. She probably has potential though, but not nearly enough motivation to focus on training LOL.

Hopefully that made some sort of sense :P

And it isn't her main skill, honest probably only comes about due to need...or you know cause she wanted it. Or the bunny dared her! :P

I can kind of see it, she is stealthy and has amazing hearing. So maybe she can see to over hearing just the right thing hehe. We shall see, let me finish them and get approved first. You never know I may have to tweak them a bit :)

Figure: Sylva isn’t the tallest predator at six feet tall, but, then again, foxes aren’t the biggest or strongest predators in general.  The fur that covers her stomach and chest is white and as it gets farther away from there her fur becomes brown and gets darker, the fur at her feet and hands being dark brown.  Sylva has relatively large breasts and wide thighs, and though she isn’t overly muscular, she manages to keep her body well-toned.  On her head are two perky ears and long brown hair, a human feature some of her people have managed to keep thus far for some reason or other.  Her eyes are a light blue, which can be quite good at glaring and giving a piercing gaze, though that’s only when matters are more serious, otherwise you might catch a more playful yet intelligent look in her eyes. Her nose is black like many other predatory mammals and she has sharp teeth.  She’ll usually wear a loincloth and something to cover her breasts, as well as some jewelry, but when she travels out, she also has a sort of cloak she’ll use to cover herself.

Persona:  When it comes to serious matters, Sylva can be very serious and calm, with a gaze that seems to pierce the very body.  She is very quick thinking and a good strategist, as well as an advocate for the philosophy everyone does their share.  She is a very active leader, heading out with hunting parties and constantly visiting with her people, she’ll even go along sometimes when they trade with other tribes and regions. 

Conversely, when she’s not busy, she can be quite the different person, showing a more playful attitude and using her cunning for different reasons.  She can be flirty with others, probably from a mostly unused libido due to how much of her time is spent working, as Chieftess is a full time job.  She will also use her cunning to play pranks, though not as much as she used to. 
Sylva would like to believe that someday all the tribes can live in harmony, even if it were to mean they live under one banner, and while she would like to be the one that unites the tribes into one powerful force, she knows this is a foolish dream, one which she wouldn’t have the power to fulfil it anyway.

Strengths: Slva has very good senses, especially in hearing and smelling.  She might not be the strongest predator, but she is quite fast and very cunning/intelligent.  She is a good strategist as well as great at planning tricks and traps and manipulating opponents.  She is also quite flexible. She can be quite determined and strong willed.

Weaknesses: Sylva’s ticks could get her into some big trouble if they fail, especially against a physically stronger opponent.  Her libido makes her a bit too willing to be drawn into certain situations.  She is somewhat overconfident in her skills at trickery and manipulation.  She can see many colors, but like many canines, can’t see reds or greens.  Her determination is one more thing which can lead to bad situations.

Bio  Sylva came into the world as first-born of Raus Foxfire, the chieftain of the Grey Paw tribe; one of the larger, more open tribes, and his wife, Mauria, one of the shaman of the tribe.  Now, everyone knew the chief had expected a son, and this was heavily imposed on Sylva, being raised in part as a male, learning how to be a hunter and great warrior, and never being allowed to search for a mate when she came of age, though, she still never failed to infuriate and disappoint her father with her constant trickery.

Though she had many siblings, her favorite being her first sibling, Raizel, tradition told the first-born was always to inherit the title of chieftain, and she went to lengths to prove it, quickly showing her cunning and intelligence, as well as quickly becoming one of the fastest fighters in the village.

Shortly after she became a full adult in the tribe, tragedy struck.  Her father went on a hunting trip to the south with his closest friends, and never returned.  A search party was sent to find him, but they only found one survivor, injured and delirious, who died just hours after returning.  They had a sorrow ritual that lasted for days, and afterwards, Sylva was granted the title chieftess.

She quickly proved to be a fair and passionate chief, giving punishment when it was due while still remaining close to her people.  She to this day still regularly enjoys walking around and talking to her tribe members, hunting with the tribe’s hunters, and even going along with some salvage and trade trips.

Neira stands at much taller than her sister at 5' 10" tall. And though she isn't as curvy as her younger sibling, there is no doubt of the supple curve of her hips and breasts. Though her grandest feature has always seemed to be her long legs, or at least that is what she has been told.

Her fur is several shades lighter than her sisters; even her hair on her head has turned pure white over the years. She always seems to be well kept and pulled together, her clothes tend to be less revealing as well. After all, a little mystery was always a good thing right?

She shares the same vibrant eyes as her sister; though Neira has a much more intimidating and convincing glare. Her body also has markings left from their time in the east, though her markings have brought much darker marks upon her fur when compared to her sister Namid.

Persona: Ever the caregiver Neira grew up being the one that always saw to everyone else’s needs. Caring for her elders as well as her little sister, she ends up ignoring her own needs or wants. Neira has a calm spirit, though, and it takes a lot to get her to become angry or to break her will. She may be the one that always becomes the care giver, but there is a reason you never messed with a mama and her pups. Though to be fair, most of those she saw to were far from pups.

Neria has always had a strong sense of self, knowing her role and her desires and not being so weak willed that she let others trample over her or those she cared about. She may be a healer most of the time, but she will defend and fight for what she believes in.

Strong willed, and intelligent, yet tempered with years of wisdom gained by helping others and learning what life can really be like. She is looked to as the voice of reason a great deal of the time, though she insists she is no leader. Beyond that, she is an affectionate person, and though she hasn't taken a lover in some time those in her past know how passionate she can really be.

Healing: Neira has become quiet the healer, many come from the other all over to seek her help and she doesn't turn them away if she can help it. She gardens and farms her own herbs, and with them makes all sorts of healing balms, medicines and so forth. She has taken to learning from an older doctor, or at least what was left of such in this world and has  been expending on it since his passing.

Calming Nature: Unlike her sister, it takes a great deal to break Neira's calm nature. She tends to keep a cool head in whatever situation she is in and in turn helps those around her do the same. It isn't unheard of for her to be the mediator between imposing forces.

Archery and Staff fighting: Neira knows she will always have her teeth and claws to fall back on. But she has found she prefers to use more human skills when on the hunt or defending herself. Due to this she has honed two main skills, archery and staff fighting when in close combat.

Heart of gold: Neira tens to have a soft heart when given a sad story, though once crossed she isn't easy to forgive. She tends to trust quicker than others or at the least give most everyone a chance until they prove they don't deserve it. She is also known for going out of her way to help others, and would give her last scrap of food to someone else if they needed it more.

Her sister: No one, and she means no one messes with her sister. Being the only family she has left Neira is incredibly protective of Namid. But to those that know this can and have tried to use this against her. Granted they aren't around anymore, so how well that worked out for them is debatable.

Pack Mentality:Neira doesn't do well alone, though she always tries to remain strong she just wasn't built for it. No she doesn't need to be surrounded at all times, but her mood drastically falls when left on her own for too long.

Bio

Neira doesn't speak much about her past, mainly because she'd rather forget it. She and her sister were born in the east actually. To a tribe of predators that seemed lost in tradition and cult like rituals. Making sacrifices to the gods, and branding the young for various reasons. The weak were discarded as if nothing more than a waste of space. It was something she had grown to accept, at least that was until her little sister came along.

When Namid was born, she was much smaller than the others her age, and seemed so weak most thought she wouldn't live. But it was the fact that her mother died giving birth to her that seemed to mark the child's future. The only thing that saved her was their father, and one of the few sentimental moments he may have had. Though he tossed the small pup to Neira and refused to have much to do with her. Than only a young pup herself it was hard, and they seemed to live like outcasts. Especially once their father took on a new mate and their siblings were born. It was painful to realize that they could be so easily replaced.

The years passed and as hard as it was Neira raised her little sister and fought off any that would try and take her, which led to a great deal of pain and healing in the years that followed. Things would have remained like this for well into their adult lives if one of the Alpha's sons hadn't taken interest in Neira. Than only 15 she was already beautiful and skilled beyond her years. But Neira wanted nothing to do with him, especially when he said she'd have to cut ties with her weaker sibling if she wanted to gain position. Neira would have been happy to remain alone, but the boy grew angry after being turned away. And saw to take that anger out on Namid, she was after all, the reason Neira had said no.

It was the last straw, the moment that pushed Neira into running. She packed away some supplies and carried her little sister away from danger under the cover of night. She went west, running as fast and as far as her body would allow. Not stopping until her body finally gave out, her little sister’s cries filling the air as she tried to wake her older sister. Thankfully, they had made it the west, and Namid's cries drew the attention of an elderly Minx couple. The man was a doctor, and his wife an herbalist a rather stunning and affective pair really. They took them in and nursed both of them back to health.

Of course they were both too young to turn away. So they decided to raise the pair as their own, a couple of cats raising a pair of foxes. It was an odd arrangement but one that provided a rather happy home in the end. Years passed, then, with both girls being raised in what seemed like paradise. Neria took to learning everything she could from their would be parents, and Namid just concentrated on being a happy little fox pup.

As the years passed their "parents" grew older, their adoptive father died from a heart failure far too soon as far they were concerned. But by then Neira had become quite the accomplished and well known healer, and Namid well...she was Namid and showed her talents in other areas. Now living in the West and claiming it as their home Neria protects what is her's rather fiercely and does her best to help those around her, running her own practice of sorts for those that come looking for her healing touch.

Namid stands at a whopping 5'5'' short...at least for her kind. But what she lacks in height she makes up for in curves. More voluptuous than her sister, she tends to enjoy and flaunt her curves, her short stature only adding to her playful demeanor.

Bio

Namid was born into a world that marked her as unworthy from day one. The tribe she was born to saw her as weak, and not worth the effort, especially considering her mother died giving birth to the young fox. She was marked for death, but found reprieve only because her father had a moment of weakness. At least that was what he always said as the years passed. If it wasn't for her sister Neira she honestly wouldn't have made it through her younger years.

It was part of the reason she felt so bad for what followed. She had tried so hard to stay hidden away, to live, but be the unseen burden. A burden she realized at a very young age. She spent her years in the east being treated like trash, or more so the one that should have died. Still even when branded and tossed nothing but scraps Namid found some way to be happy. After all, she wasn't alone; she always had Neira, even when she felt utterly guilty for relying on her for so much.

But something changed when Neira finally decided to run. Namid honestly wasn't aware of what finally pushed her that far. But she wasn't going to argue and clung to her sister as they escaped during the night and headed West. It was frightening though, especially when Neira collapsed from exhaustion. She screamed for her big sister to wake, and cried hate the fact that she wasn't strong enough to be what she needed. But something unexpected happened, and soon the pair found that they were saved by a pair of older Minx.

Namid quickly found her stride, finally finding out what happiness could truly feel like. She blossomed than, and became a vibrant and lively young woman. Her sister turned to the healing arts, but Namid wasn't sure what she wanted to be, though she did have a gift for tinkering and creating some rather beautiful and useful items. Granted that was after she'd venture to the other Havens to find her needed supplies, at least that was the excuse that she would give. Wild and spirited Namid still had a lot to learn, but she has a great deal of time and potential to do so. And she intends to do just that, while living life to the fullest of course.

I have an interest in this. Are anthro characters allowed to travel outside 'beast' territory?  And is the beast territory where most of the anthro's live or is it just wild there?

Greetings and thanks for interest. Sorry if I couldn't get to you sooner, just happen I was already going to bed when you posted.

As for the inquiry; define outside? Do you mean those that may already live there, going to other Haven locations? Which is fine. Anthros live everywhere in the city, it is just certain areas obviously function different than that of others. North being harshly military govern, West being semi-chaotic with all the various gangs, East being bit more tribal, and South being populated more so with those of a, primal. feral nature.

, I was frustrated because I planned on writing my main character Viper, but there are no real good Anthro Snakes, especially female. I also want to play a part that may be needed or desired. I would be welcome to suggestions, I would also like to know if there are any growing plots, I just don't like throwing a character in and it having no place or any interaction potential.

Looks good, I browsed and found very few serpent(ish) images. well few that caught my eye from the rest.

As for parts needed, guess that ultimately depends on what type of end desired character you are really going for, for the game. I rather have players feel comfortable with what they are playing than feeling forced into whatever roles. You could always plot ahead as well by looking over present roster. Some factions/bios of such are WIP, but I did categorize people to best of my capabilities of Havens they may be from/residing in. Keep in mind, game is pretty open world, so you don't have to feel compelled in staying in just one Haven all the time.

I have, yet to make any large game wide plots. I am still gradually building the world as I go to be honest. I'll do best I can to help in any way.

Persona:She's a hard bitch. Vanessa is kind to those who serve beneath her, and she will often be that helping hand when things go awry, cross her Leader...and meet your doom. She is known as the wild card, and though she may be your friend one day, the next...she may have to carry out orders to take you out...and she never denies a order from their Leader. Hard headed, and rather stubborn, good luck changing her mind.
Strengths:
Speed: Her thighs and ass are where all of her muscles are centralized. She can move quickly through town or forest alike.

Bow Staff: Used for leverage, pivoted momentum, and general ass kicking, Vanessa carries her staff or spear with her at all times and will kick first and ask questions later.

Sense: Its hard to ambush, trap, sneak up on, or much of anything if one is trying to pull one over on Corre. She has the innate ability to sense danger in all of its forms and her caution and strategizing has been the cause of many victorious wars with other Gangs.

Hit first, Ask Questions later/Enforcement: She is enforcement itself, your explanation as to why your about to be hit better be .001 seconds long because that's about the length of time you have before you will be crying and spilling your guts to her. It is not below her to torture, maim, or kill in order to keep the peace or complete an order.

Weaknesses:
Those in need: She will attempt to recruit those are in need to her gang, but also just out of the goodness of her heart. She once lived in the pleasure houses as a slave before their Leader liberated her. Forever indebted, she endeavors to return the favor, often seeing the innocence in others.

Strength: Her speed is her biggest ally, though her legs can crush any bone, without the ability to kick she lacks the strength to fight larger opponents. She will more often than not have someone who can effectively face that opponent in her stead.

Love and Loyalty : Her loyalty to her Leader is due to her being greatful for being released from the slavery within a pleasure house. Groomed to be THE Commander, she will lay down her life for the Crimson Gate and her Leader. She had been in love with her Leader for many years now, though she had never revealed it and no one has ever suspected.

Bondage: She fears this above anything else. The fear of torture, rape, enslavement, terrifies her and she will fight with everything she's got to get free.
Bio
A Daughter of two whores...one couldn't get lower than that. As part of a breeding scheme, little Nessy was born and bred into slavery for the sole purpose of being a pleasure slave. That's when the smoke began to rise, screams that were no longer pleasure, but had become anguish itself. Though the growing threat of Blood Locust was real, and they were on the cusps of war again as bad blood began to boil. And boy was she READY!

It wouldn't necessarily have to be West haven, it could be North Haven government or an East Haven tribe, it's not set in stone. I can understand the issues of an m/s relationship in a game like this but that would only occur if my character were caught, which would be possible but not guaranteed. An npc may be best though.

Typically wears a crude armor made from animal skins, earned by doing the "dirty work" for local craftsmen in his area.
Persona: Despite living in the barbaric hell hole that is West Haven, Orsin is actually a decent person-well, compared to all those around him. He's loyal and trustworthy, committed to getting a job done once he's signed on, even if a better opportunity might come along later. Prefers not to work with the Blood Locust gang, and has actually become a targeted individual due to interfering with some of their operations. Tries not to kill those who might be able to be 'redeemed', but has no issue dispatching some swift vigilante justice if need be.
Strengths: Very strong and agile, with musculature fitting his genetics. Loyal to those he can trust. Armed naturally (Teeth and Claws). Very perceptive. Able to take one hell of a beating, and has a lot of endurance. Good hunter. Able to put people at ease.
Weaknesses: Loyal to those he can trust (hah!). While an excellent hunter, may not have wisdom in the conventional sense-can be quite gullible. Is not good at solving complex issues. Will fall for a honeypot or seduction if there is no immediate danger (strong desire to breed!).
Bio Orsin grew up in East Haven, and despite the state of the world had a decent childhood. He played with other members of his tribe, he made friendships and enemies, and helped around when he could. The Pride was strong, and asserted it's dominance in the local area, but... Lacked ambition. They were content to control their small slice of territory, happy to occasionally put a clawed paw down, but never expanded their borders. The simple life was not what Orsin had in mind. Males in the tribe that reached a certain age had to either submit to the reigning male, or forge their own path. Orsin chose to carve his own path. After many conflicts and adventures he ended up in West Haven, where he thrives in the rugged and often deadly environment, unintentionally bringing some of the values from his pride back home to the dangerous western lands.

Likes: Fighting, helping those in need, drinking by the fire with friends, breeding.
Dislikes: Issues that can't be solved by fighting. Being tricked or betrayed. Unnecessary shows of cruelty or power.
