Granted, but it's dinnertime, so the breakfast will have to wait until morning, when it needs to be reheated in the microwave, which never heats things completely through, so you're left with what was originally a nice tasty breakfast, but is now...lukewarm and bland.

Granted, but then Adammair claims your character as his own and the character creates a new way system of character sheey formatting so simple it blows your mind. No literally, your head explodes.

I wish all governments of the world would make binding resolutions to mitigate the impact of climate change that will see the planet restored to pre-1950 levels, without reducing the population, limiting its growth, or creating a scarcity of resources.

Granted. They create a one world government and a global dictatorship is established. They start using humans as batteries and eventually create an AI so advanced it turns on them and the Matrix becomes real.

Granted... but everyone you meet on the street greets you with annoying phrases like "I know kung fu", or "Woah" in that stupid surfer accent, or they do that little air guitar thing from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. You get so pissed off at the phoniness of it all that you either blow your brains out, or you sell out and agree to act in the sequel, which ends up being nothing but a bunch of cool martial arts fights strung together by a few cryptic words from Aunt Jemima.... making you wish you had blown your brains out. Or do you want to wait and see if the third one is any better...?

I wish I wish I had a fish. It would make a tasty dish. With pepper, dill, and horseradish. Oh I wish I had a fish.

Granted. You devise the ultimate way of cooking food, and become the next famous chef, but you lose all your utensils (pots, pans, spoons, knives, etc.) and end up dying of hunger. :P

I wish my car was a single color, instead of a white bumper, primer-gray fender, and the rest champagne.
