[Soran]

"I'll take care of this" James said to his sister. Slowly and shakily, he rose to his feet. Taking one halting step, than another other, to come face to face with Andrew

"I could crush you" Andrew said, with venom in his voice

James stood his ground..barely "Go ahead...at least we;'re face to face this time...not a sneak attack from behind"

[darkvamplips]

So James knew who attacked him? But how? "James Andrew stop it please." She did not want fighting and stopped between the two in the middle so if they had to fight they would hurt her first.

[Soran]

"I heard every word he said" James' voice was growing stronger the adrenaline in his blood giving him the strength he needed "Animal" he almost spat "Now you refuse to leave...you're a coward, only thinking of what you want"

"How dare you judge me" replied Andrew "Have you any idea of what I went through to get here?"

"Was it for you, or was is for Rebecca? I know the truth...it was all about you" James despite his is weakness could muster a lot of vehemence in his voice, determined to protect Rebecca

[darkvamplips]

She was still in the middle of this and looked to one and then the other. "James you will get killed. So just stop it out? You don't have the strength to do anything. Go lay down." She said with pleading eyes.

[Soran]

James was gritting his teeth "I'll go and lie down when  know your safe", but as he said that, he stumbles forward into her.

Andrew steps back, James' words ringing in his ears 'Am I here for her, or myself?'

[darkvamplips]

She did not budge from where she was standing. "James you will go lay down now." She said not wanting him to be up anymore.

[Soran]

James knew he couldn't stand any longer, what little strength he had, already gone. He sat on the bed, looking at Rebecca and at Andrew.

"Brave of you James, I am impressed with how you put yourself in harms way for Rebecca"

"What else can I do, she's my sister..I'll do what ever I have to..."

[darkvamplips]

Even though she did not want him to leave and she was feeling pretty bad the last thing she wanted was a fight. "Thank you James." She looked back to Andrew the tears still present.

[Soran]

Andrew started to say something "I...uurrgghhh" He doubled  "I need to leave, my other is coming to take over now" He started stumbling to the door, James never taking his eyes off him

[darkvamplips]

When he said the other was taking over the tears came again as she turned toward him. "Andrew please don't go." She took a step toward him.

[Soran]

Andrew turned sharply towards her "Stay back... if I don't leave now, he will kill both of you...he only cares about feeding"

[darkvamplips]

"Andrew please." She could not let him go not again. Even so she did not take a step toward him.

[Soran]

"Are you that keen to join me? I won't allow it...I ...have....no....choice...." Andrew was becoming less and less like himself. James could see the danger..."Let him go!"

[darkvamplips]

She ran over to him and grabbed his arm. "Andrew please you can't leave me again." She was crying near hysterical again.

[Soran]

Andrew couldn't believe this, moments ago, she was telling him to leave. As she got close, he lashed out, flinging her against the bed, she falls unconscious.
Andrew bolts out of the room, turning invisible as he does so but starting to connect with her unconscious state.

"I'm sorry", his voice weak in the darkness of her dream"

[darkvamplips]

"A..." Was all she could say before she was thrown against the bed and she made a loud moan as her head hit the wheel. Now her head fell to the ground limply and was connected to her dream state.

[Soran]

James tried to catch her, but wasn't fast enough, He moved over to her unconscious form and cradled her head in his arms.

*Dream State*

Back at his gravestone Andrew turns to her..."You shouldn't have tried to stop me. I'm sorry. I cannot stop the demon from taking over me. I have no choice and when he does, anyone close by will be killed..."

[darkvamplips]

Her head and body were limp as he held her head in his lap. "That's a chance I'm willing to take" She said looking at the gravestone and then back to her brother. This cannot be happening. She rubbed her head where she was hit.

[Soran]

"I'm not. He's a relentless killing machine. To him, you are nothing more than food. I will not be responsible for your death. James was right..coming back, it was about me...I . I couldn't let go and because of that, every moment we spend together puts you closer to death. "

He turns away. "after this dream, you won't see me again...I will have moved on"

[darkvamplips]

"But I don't care I want to spend time with you." She said taking a step toward him and then stopped. How could she live without her brother? The last year was so bad and she couldn't do it again. The last few words left her speechless. "Your leaving for good?" Tears stung her eyes..

[Soran]

"I do care...I'm sorry, it's not your decision and I won't let you choose to die at the hands of a thing wearing my body"

He took a breath.. "Yes. I cheated death once, but even I can only do that once " *he smiles at her* " If my spirit remains, it will be devoured by the demon instead of moving on. Do you really want that to happen to me?"

He knew the answer, but had to make her understand.

Back in the hospital, James cradled her head, whispering to her "Rebecca, I'm here, come back to me..please"

[darkvamplips]

"I don't want you to leave." She gripped her hands into tight fists wanting to hug him one more time. There was nothing he could do to change her mind or change how she felt. There had to be a way to save him somehow. Even if it meant sacrificing her own life.

There was no response from Rebecca as her head fell against his lap. Her breathing shallow.

[Soran]

"If there was a way, I would have found it. There are rules, no one can break those rules. It just isn't possible... Rebecca, you have to let me go. I will try to return some how, but in what form I cannot say" He starts to vanish from her dream

[darkvamplips]

"No Andrew." She ran toward him wanting to hold on to him. "Please no." She cried out not wanting to let him go.

[Soran]

"I'm sorry ....goodbye Rebecca... " his voice drifted away leaving her in the dream alone.

James continued to hold her head gently calling to her
