Ok, I have been here became member for just a bit over a year ago and I still doesn't really understand how the heavy board is divided. We got four sections which each holds some NC-label, I do understand that it has to do with system, non-system, exotic and normal but aren't there a better way to organize the whole thing? So it becomes easier to place your games?

Do you mean like using full names rather than abbreviations or something else entirely?

Mia

The reason they are organized as they are is because there are so many of them... or I believe that is the reason.

First I would suggest to change the title so there are no problem of knowing which board is which. Then are there really a good reason  of keeping "exotic" and "normal" seperated?

Lets say you have two types of heavy games: system and non-system then inside them you use sub-boards that can cover... well what you like (sub-board per system maybe)...

Some people don't like monsters and such things, thus the separation.

I'll go ahead, change the names and rename the category.

Mia

How about this then:

Heavy System
sub: Exotic, Normal

Heavy Freeform
sub: Exotic, Normal

Or SMF doesn't support such division in a simple way?

SMF supports nesting but people really like to see who made the last post.

Unless you mean make separate categories for each?

Mia

No I think I got clear to you... two main boards that contain sub-boards with the division of the different types.

Well it was an idea especially with the single thread games. Oh well it was just an idea. Writing the meaning of the different boards fixes the problem also, the size of the heavy section is another "problem".
