The Heroes
Players will be free to select from existing Marvel characters or choose to create new Heroes.  The game is composed of a coalition of Superhumans, mutants, Inhumans and Aliens of all races, genders and ages;  however if you wish to create an Hero then they must be separate from existing canon, no long lost sister of Tony Stark or Future Daughter of the Hulk etc. The Avengers will operate out of Stark Tower in the heart of New York city, and the setting will be in the modern day, the year of 2018.  The game's independent canon will be established by the players. Players may select characters from the Avengers, Agents of Shield, Defenders and Guardians of the Galaxy as members of the team.

The format for character submissions will be simple.

At the on set of WWII and America's involvement, Steve like many a young man tried to join up.  Due to his frail body however, he was rejected a number of times.  It was then he was selected for Project: Rebirth, a super-soldier program within the military that turned Steve into just that, a Super-Soldier.  Steve is the top end of human conditioning, and it was with that in mind that he went on to fight Red Skull during the war.  It eventually leading to him taking a rather long nap in some ice.

When he awoke it was a to world very, very different from the one he had left behind.  One fueled so much by technology and want that he barely recognized it for the America he left behind.  It was only by looking past all the dazzle of it all that he saw this was still his home and that the people it were good.  He'd be lying though if he said that this was the world he'd fought for though...So ya, Steve these days tends to lie a lot.

F.A.Q.

Is the game first come first serve as far as picking canon characters, or will you take the best application?

The game doesn't require writing samples.  We are all here to have fun.  However, players without a strong writing background are asked to create new characters instead of assuming the roles of canon characters.

Finally, are you going to limit players to a certain number of characters?

Players are permitted to assume one canon character, and more than one character created character.  However, be respectful to the gender ratio, and to other players.

Wasp
Real Name: Hope Van Dyne-Pym
Group Affiliation: Avengers
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 130 lbs
Arch-Enemies: Absorbing Man, Aries, Beyonder, Blob, and various others..
Nickname: Hopey

Powers:
•   Size Reduction: Due to long-term exposure to Pym Particles, The Wasp could reduce herself in size, down to the dimensions of the insect from which she takes her name, roughly 1/2 inch in height. She usually chooses not to retain her standard density while at this reduced mass, but can choose to do so at will. The "lost" mass is shunted to a pocket dimension for later retrieval. Additionally, her strength was boosted while she is at reduced size, to the extent that she can bend a one-inch diameter steel bar almost double. Her size allows her to be easily unnoticed in most cases, allowing her to become stealthy in some cases.
* Bio-Synthetic Wings: Due to small implanted insect wings, the Wasp could fly at incredibly fast speeds. These are functional when she reduced herself in height, and can remain so until reaching a height that is a nearly foot shorter than her normal height. Her flight speed can also allow her to gain a form of superhuman reflexes and agility, being able to easily evade targets and attacks.
* Wasp's Sting: The Wasp could generate powerful bio-electric blasts from her hand that have been shown to be capable of cutting through high-density structures and is able to cause extreme pain to superhumanly strong and highly durable beings and can pierce their skin.
* Insect Communication and Control: Through the use of her retractable antennae, the Wasp could communicate with and control certain higher insects, in a manner similar to Ant-Man's Helmet. She rarely chose to utilize this ability, however.
* Size Addition: In addition to being able to shrink, Wasp could grow significantly in size as well. The growth process requires the rapid acquisition of bodily mass, presumably from an extra-dimensional source. This extra-dimensional mass fortifies all of her cellular tissues, including her bones and muscles, enabling her to support her increased weight, and giving her superhuman strength. Perhaps due to the bodily strains that her ex-husband Hank experienced as a side-effect of such powers, Janet uses this power only in emergencies, preferring to shrink to her wasp-sized form.

Skills:
•Multilingual: Can speak fluent English, Spanish and Hungarian. She has also taught herself to speak the language of the Microverse.
•Expert Combatant: Adapted to a special kind of hand-to-hand combat that was created by her father Hank Pym, which takes advantage of the fighter's insect size against a much larger form and physique enabling them to strike pressure points before the opponent even realizes what happened. She was also trained in multiple martial arts and unarmed combat fields by Captain America, making her into an adept combatant.

Bio: Hope was originally estranged from her father Hank Pym, and just to spite him for a while dropped his last name keeping only her mother’s Janet van Dyne's maiden name. Hope was the business partner of Darren Cross until it was discovered he was not only insane but observed with destroying her father.

She took up her mother’s mantle and became Wasp. She’s been seen as the sibling like friend to most of the Avengers so its easy to spot her with them.

Hope’s Social Web:
•Hank Pym - her father, strained relationship that seems to be improving.
•Scott Lang - acknowledges his existence, slightly jealous of him for being chosen to wear the suit by her father first.
•Steve Rogers - impressed by his service record
•Natasha Romanov - fearful of slightly, mental note not to cross someone who can kill her with a flick of a pinky
•Thor - fascinated by
•Tony Stark - impressed by his mind
•Janet Van Dyne—Pym - her mother, It’s complicated sort of relationship

Height:  5'8"
Weight:  125 lbs.
Arch-Enemies:  Crossbones (formerly), Loki, Ultron, HYDRA
Nickname:  Nat, Tasha, Auntie Nat

Powers:

Master Spy: Romanoff is a dangerous secret agent highly skilled in espionage, stealth, disguise, infiltration, and demolitions. Her talents and years of experience have enabled her to reach a high ranking as a special agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. She often resorts to seduce men to obtain her goals while working undercover, such as when she posed as an assistant to evaluate Tony Stark for the Avengers Initiative. Romanoff's skills are so legendary that Nick Fury created a Lie Detector that he hoped she could not deceive.
◾Peak Physical Condition: Natasha's life long gruelling training as a spy and assasin grant her a extremely high physical prowess, particularly speed and agility. She is strong enough to overpower most enemies including those are larger than herself.
◾Master Martial Artist: Natasha is arguably to be one of the best fighters in the world. Romanoff is extremely skilled in the field of martial arts, having mastered arts such as karate, judo, aikido, savate, boxing, lucha-libre style wrestling and multiple styles of kung fu. She has easily taken down many enemies, such as dozens of Hammer Industries security guards, Georges Batroc's armed pirates, several members of STRIKE, dozens of Ultron Sentries, and even the hordes of Chitauri aliens. She is skilled enough to be able to defeat a mind-controlled Hawkeye, maintain the upper hand against Ant-Man, and even hold her own against the much stronger Winter Soldier, though he was able to bring her down in the end.

Skills:

  • Master martial artist, spy, swordswoman, Assassin and tactician
  • Highly intelligent, fluent in various languages
Bio: Natalia Alianovna "Natasha" Romanoff, better known as Black Widow, is one of the best spies and assassins in the world. Originally an agent of the Soviet agency for foreign intelligence, the KGB, she later became a member of S.H.I.E.L.D., the international counter-intelligence agency. Having extensive mastery in the martial arts and armed with her Widow's Bite, Black Widow was one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most talented agents. When Loki declared war on Earth, Black Widow joined the Avengers and helped to defend New York City.
After the Avengers defeated Loki, she continued her work with S.H.I.E.L.D., this time working with fellow agent Captain America. Following the HYDRA Uprising, which resulted in all of her morally dubious history being revealed to the world, she dropped off the grid to begin rebuilding her cover. She later rejoined the Avengers, working to bring down various HYDRA cells across the world and the rogue artificial intelligence Ultron. Unlike most members of the original Avengers, Black Widow remained a member of the second incarnation of the team after the Ultron Offensive.

As the governments of the world demanded the Avengers to sign the Sokovia Accords, she agreed to their terms. She later joined Iron Man in a fight against Captain America because of his disagreements with the Accords and his criminal activities with the Winter Soldier. As the two Avengers' factions fought against each other, she betrayed Iron Man's team in order to assist Captain America to find the instigator of the teammates' fight. As a result, Black Widow had to escape once again from the government for aiding her old friend.

Black Widow`s Social Web:

VoluptuousVixen

Valkyire
Real Name:  Brunnhilde of Asgaurd
Group Affiliation: Revengers, Valkyires(Formerly)
Height:  6'0"
Weight:  135 lbs.
Arch-Enemies:  Hela (formerly), The Grandmaster
Nickname:  Scrapper 142, Angry Girl

Powers:

Asgardian Physiology: As an Asgardian, Brunnhilde has superhuman abilities. ◾Superhuman Strength: Like all Asgardians, Brunnhilde possesses superhuman strength. However, she possesses far greater strength than the average Asgardian as a Warrior Maiden. As the leader of the Valkyries, her strength surpasses all the other Warrior Maidens, superior to that of Loki, and nearly matching with that of Thor and Hulk, the latter of whom she was able to knock down in a brief sparing match.
◾Superhuman Agility: Valkyrie naturally possesses greater agility, dexterity, balance, and body coordination than that of a normal human being, allowing her to easily jump and fall on her feet.
◾Superhuman Speed: Valkyrie can move at high speeds, allowing her to dodge a powerful attack from Hulk, to deflect a wave of projectiles hurled at her by Hela in rapid succession, and to momentarily incapacitate Hela with a sudden jump on the latter.
◾Superhuman Stamina: Like all Asgardians, Valkyrie's musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than that of humans, which allowed her to fight many Berserkers, and even the more powerful Hela herself, without tiring at all.
◾Superhuman Durability: Valkyrie's body is much more resistant to physical harm than that of a human. hence, she was able to withstand Hela's mighty attacks, falls from great heights, extreme pressures and temperatures and powerful explosions.
◾Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite her body's resistance, Valkyrie can be injured like any other Asgardian. However, her metabolism enables her to rapidly regenerate damaged bodily tissue with greater speed and efficiency than that of a human.
◾Longevity: Like all Asgardians, Valkyrie ages at a rate that is much slower than that of a human being, allowing her to remain physically young for thousands of years.

Skills:

  • Master martial artist, spy, swordswoman, leader
  • Highly intelligent, fluent in various alien languages
Bio:  Brunnhilde was one of the many Valkyries sent by Odin to fight Hela. Riding a winged steed, Brunnhilde and her fellow Valkyries engaged Hela in combat. Hela created a large amount of bladed weapons that she used to kill the Valkyries as they descended on her. Brunnhilde was the only survivor; following the defeat, she exiled herself to the planet Sakaar where she served the Grandmaster as one of his best acquisition specialists under the name "Scrapper 142." She had an antagonistic relationship with the Grandmaster's bodyguard, Topaz, but was favored by the Grandmaster himself. Scrapper 142 eventually found and brought the Grandmaster the Hulk after he was lost in space and landed on Sakaar.

Scrapper 142 brought the Grandmaster a new contender, Thor. Taking him from a group of Sakaaran Scrappers that intended to use him as food, she implanted him with an Control Disk and was paid ten million Units for delivering him to the Grandmaster. Buying alcohol near the gladiator's quarters, she was pointed out by the gladiator Korg as an Asgardian. Thor attempted to hold a conversation with her, telling her of the Siege of Asgard and Hela's return. Thor noticed a tattoo on her wrist symbolising her as a Valkyrie. However, she ignored Thor and left to watch the fight between Thor and the Hulk from her ship. After the duel, Thor once again attempted to enlist her aid to escape the planet but she again refused. Undeterred, Thor broke free by managing to get the controller for the Obedience Disk from her and disarming it. Displeased, the Grandmaster set Valkyrie and Loki to find Thor and the Hulk, who had followed his friend. She argued with Loki who also found out about her Asgardian heritage and used his powers to make her relive the battle against Hela. With the memories awakened, Valkyrie decided to help Thor after all. She freed all the gladiators in the Grandmaster's service to start a rebellion, while Thor and Bruce Banner – who she was unaware was the Hulk but felt like she knew – stole the Grandmaster's ship. Using her own vessel, she followed the Commodore and began fighting the pursuit vessels that the Grandmaster had sent after them. Valkyrie's ship was destroyed, and she used her Asgardian abilities to jump from vessel to vessel, destroying them with her bare hands. Thor joined her in her efforts before boarding the Commodore and escaping Sakaar through the largest portal known as the "Devil's Anus. On Asgard, Thor supplied Valkyrie with her traditional armor. While Bruce piloted the Commodore, Valkyrie used a large laser cannon to try and stop Fenris from attacking the Asgardians attempting to flee Asgard via the Bifrost Bridge. The weapon failed to stop the large wolf, prompting Bruce to unleash the Hulk to stop Fenris.

Valkyrie fought Hela's Berserkers on the Bifrost while the Asgardians boarded a spaceship brought to Asgard by Loki. She joined Thor in fighting Hela directly while Loki triggered Ragnarök by reuniting Surtur's crown with the Eternal Flame. As Surtur destroyed Asgard, Valkyrie joined the remaining Asgardians aboard the ship under the leadership of their new king, Thor.

Black Widow`s Social Web:
Thor: He's her new King and friend, she has a physical attraction to him.
Hulk: Team-mate and friend. Brunnhilde finds him very amusing.
Loki: Reluctantly allied with him but she doesn't fully trust him.

VoluptuousVixen

Storyline wise we will be doing OUR version of Infinity War, with the stones coming together.

The Avengers getting back together after the Events of Civil War.

Idealistically We need a Iron Man, Vision (although I've never seen him claimed in a single game), Spiderman (he's too cute), Hulk (he's the strongest one there is), and the Guardians of the Galaxy but I have put feelers out for a Gamora Player.

I know some of my friends are putting together Bios for Thor, Black Panther, Scarlett Witch and Falcon.

Another popular character is Quake from agents of Shield so she could turn up in requests.

And yes id love to see the Defenders and Punisher turn up if possible.

Thor Odinson
Group Affiliation: Revengers, Avengers, Asgurdians
Height:  6'4"
Weight:  290 lbs.
Arch-Enemies:  Loki (formerly, working it out) Malkieth (formerly) Hela (formerly), The Grandmaster
Powers:

Asgardian Physiology: As the son of the Asgardian King Odin, Thor possesses a number of superhuman attributes common among the Asgardians. However, his attributes are considerably more powerful than those of the vast majority of his race. Thor is the third most powerful Asgardian in the Nine Realms, second only to his father Odin and elder sister Hela. With the death of Odin and Hela, Thor is the most powerful Asgardian currently alive. As Asgard's warrior prince, Thor trained and skilled in the arts of battle, which he has practiced for thousands of years. He is recognized to relying solely on his superior fighting ability, strength, and nigh invulnerability. Following his banishment to Earth, Thor greatly withholds his power unless fighting someone with similar strength and durability. Due to his immense power and disciplined perspective, Thor often has to hold back during a fight due to the destruction his strength may cause to his surroundings, such as his fight on the Helicarrier with Hulk. When he does let loose with his powers, Thor is capable of decimating much of his surroundings, such as when he shattered an entire ice shelf during a battle on Jotunheim.

Superhuman Strength: As an Asgardian, specifically the son of Odin, Thor is the strongest Asgardian alive, apart from Odin himself. His incredible superhuman strength enables him to easily overpower hoards of normal humans, Frost Giants, Chitauri, Marauders, Dark Elves, Ultron Sentries, and various other species within or beyond the Nine Realms. He can lift or move immensely heavy objects effortlessly, such as when he was able to easily catch a falling car with one arm during Battle of Sokovia, saving the family trapped inside it, and flip a large, wide ceremonial table over on Asgard. He can also easily crush extremely durable objects - such as Iron Man's gauntlets - as if he was crushing a soda can. Thor's strength extends to his ability to leap great distances. With his strength, Thor is able to take on multiple enemies at once, using Mjølnir to send large groups of enemies, like the Frost Giants, the Chitauri, or Ultron Sentries, multiple ones at once, with each strike. Using his weapon Mjølnir, Thor's strength is compounded, as he is able to swing his mighty hammer with great speed and force. Thor's strength is so great, that he can throw his hammer with enough force to break through nearly any barrier, whether it be stone, metal or dark energy. His strength is so great, that strikes with Mjølnir are usually fatal, knocking out opponents with one hit, and only beings of incredible power, like the Destroyer, Hulk, Malekith, Ultron, Fenris, Surtur, and Hela can take multiple direct hits from Thor. Hence, Thor was able to shatter a massive Kronan Marauder, take down a Leviathan, and even break the Bifrost Bridge, all with only several blows of his hammer. Thor's immense strength also enabled him to break out of an extremely durable confinement capsule (specifically designed to hold Hulk), stop a mighty punch from the Hulk with his own hand, and punch the latter in the face hard enough to make him stagger. Thor also went toe-to-toe in a prolonged battle against Malekith, whose strength was greatly compounded by the Aether, and ultimately defeated him. After receiving visions from Odin's spirit, Thor's strength, combined with his newfound ability to generate lightning, allowed him to gain the upper hand against Hulk, generating a shock-wave that visibly dazed the Hulk. Thor was later able to almost match Hela's strength during their final battle. However, it is shown that despite Thor's incredible strength, he was overpowered by the likes of Kurse, Ultron, Hela, Hulk (albeit, only temporarily right up until the Contest of Champions) and Surtur.

Superhuman Speed: Thor can move at superhuman speeds. Thor tackled Hulk through the wall of a Helicarrier in a split second, visibly appearing as a blur.

Superhuman Reflexes: Thor can react and dodge objects traveling at high speeds, with him dodging many of Hulk's blows during the Contest of Champions

Superhuman Agility: Thor's agility, dexterity, balance, and bodily coordination make him a great warrior for battle. He moves with incredible grace and speed despite his considerable size and body density. He was able to dodge the wing of a jet fighter thrown at him by the Hulk, as well as dodging many of Hulk's hammer and battle-axe blows in their second battle.

Superhuman Durability: Thor's skin, muscle, and bone tissue have many times the density of the same tissue in the body of a human being, making him extremely durable. Even when he was stripped of his powers, Thor was still amazingly resilient due to his dense body, withstanding being hit by a van with ease, and only being seemingly killed by a punch from the Destroyer. When he is at full power and armed with Mjølnir, Thor possesses nigh-invulnerability, including resistance to powerful energy blasts, immense blunt force trauma, falls from great heights, explosions and various other opposing forces. He withstood the extreme cold of Jotunheim, the extreme heat of Muspelheim, survived a direct near point-blank range blast from Gungnir blasting him out of Odin's chamber, and falling several hundred feet to the ground, showing no visible signs of injury. Thor withstood a 400%-charged repulsor blast from Iron Man, was barely affected by Quicksilver smashing into him at supersonic speeds, took a mighty punch from Hulk with only a minor nosebleed, and even withstood the full force of the Destroyer's energy blasts. During his final battle with Malekith, Thor was even able to survive being hit by quite a few tendrils of the Aether Infinity Stone energy, and later a blast of Surtur's Twilight Sword flames without any permanent damage, though it should be noted that Thor had not been facing off against Surtur while the latter was at full power. Whenever he is injured, Thor's physique allows him to shrug off minor injuries such as small stab wounds from Asgardian blades, or allows him to withstand a direct blow in the face from a massive Frost Giant and laugh afterwards. He resisted the direct destruction of the city of Novi Grad followed by one kilometer drop in the sea, and was only momentarily unconscious. However, when matched with a rare enemy that is stronger than himself, like Kurse, Ultron, or Hela, Thor will eventually sustain injuries, and increasingly show signs of exertion and fatigue. He also withstood numerous blows to the face from Hulk during the Contest of Champions, and remain unscathed after jumping out of the window in Hulk's room.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his astounding resistance to injury, it is possible to injure Thor. However, due to his Asgardian physiology, Thor is able to heal at a rate much faster than a normal human. After seemingly being killed by the Destroyer and proving himself worthy of Mjølnir once again, Thor regained his full power and immediately healed himself in seconds. Despite receiving mild to severe stab wounds from Asgardian blades on several occasions, after working past the initial pain of the injury, Thor was able to quickly recover and continue fighting. After the brutal beating he suffered from Kurse, upon arriving to Earth several minutes later, he had nearly completely recovered from his bleeding wounds. While fighting Hela, Thor was painfully pierced multiple times by her Necroswords, getting his right eye gouged out in the process, and while Thor was unable to regenerate his eye, he recovered from all of the stabs mere minutes later, despite the Warriors Three all perishing from a single stab from Hela each.

Superhuman Stamina: Thor's advanced musculature is considerably more efficient than that of a human and most other Asgardians. As a result, his muscles produce practically no fatigue toxins during physical activity compared to those of humans and most other members of his race. His virtually inexhaustible stamina enables him to exert himself at peak capacity for an undefined period of time without tiring at all.

Superhuman Longevity: Thor, like all other Asgardians, is not truly immortal. It is possible to kill an Asgardian and other beings in the Nine Realms. More accurately, Asgardians are extremely long-lived beings. Thor ages at a pace far, far slower than a human, as he is at least 1,000 or more years old; more than likely, like Loki, born shortly before the last great war between the Asgardians and the Frost Giants.

Elemental Powers: Though Thor's Asgardian physiology far exceeds the abilities of a normal athletic human, when he was stripped of his power and found unworthy of Mjølnir, his god-like abilities diminished so much that he was able to be tasered into unconsciousness. It was only when he was found worthy of wielding Mjølnir did Thor recover his god-like physiology and therefore could go toe-to-toe with extremely powerful beings like the Destroyer. Thus, the hammer enhances a person's physiology to that of Thor, the "God of Thunder". It was later revealed Mjølnir was never the source of Thor's power, but a tool to help him focus his power until he was able to master and wield his powers freely. Thor is able to cast supernatural abilities when wielding Mjølnir. These abilities include:

Weather Manipulation: Thor displayed the ability to manipulate parts of the weather even before he lost his hammer to Hela. His focus always seemed to be somewhere else, so whenever events of him displaying his power occurred his mind was elsewhere. Among them was when he was able to keep rain from touching Jane Foster as a downpour occurred, and when he began to generate sparks of lightning from his hands after becoming furious. He began to unlock the full potential of his abilities during his encounter with Hela, now being able to generate rather large storm clouds and create thunder.

Electricity Manipulation: Thor can generate, control and project electrical energy, with him thus being dubbed the "God of Thunder". Following Odin's death and visions from his father's spirit, Thor's electrokinetic powers are further enhanced to the point where he could generate electrical energy from his own body and summon thunder and lightning from the sky, all without the use of Mjølnir. His new ability allows him to seamlessly integrate lightning into his fighting sequences against Hulk in the Contest of Champions, and then later against Hela and her undead army. Indeed, Thor's generated lightning bolts were powerful enough to take down a Chitauri Leviathan, to blacken an Aether-enhanced Malekith, to send an enraged Hulk flying back, and to even temporarily stun Hela herself, all with a single respective blast. Additionally, he could pull enemies towards him using lightning and he was able to destroy a proportion of Rainbow Bridge that Hela was standing on to ultimately send her crashing down into the water beneath.

Flight: One of Thor's new abilities that he discovered after losing Mjølnir was how he was able to hover and glide in the air without any outside help. He was able to grab onto the Hulk and lift him several feet in the air while they were fighting in the Contest of Champions. He also was able to hover across Bifrost multiple times during his final encounter with his sister Hela. He was able to launch himself into the air from the Asgardian palace to the middle of the Bifrost within moments.

Abilities:
Master Combatant: Thor is the greatest and most powerful warrior in Asgard since Odin, and is one of the most skilled fighters in the Nine Realms, trained in the arts of war and various Asgardian fighting techniques. He is therefore masterful in many areas of combat, including hand-to-hand and various forms of weaponry available in Asgard (primarily swords and spears), though he usually prefers to wield his hammer Mjølnir. Thor is known to be very cunning and intuitive in battles and in warfare. Even when rendered mortal and stripped of his strength and powers, Thor utilized his sheer vast fighting skills to overpower nearly a dozen highly skilled S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives, as the very impressed Phil Coulson stated "[Thor] made [his] men, some of the most highly trained professionals in the world, look like a bunch of minimum wage mall cops." At full power, Thor has fought and defeated over a hundred Marauder warriors in Vanaheim, battled hordes of Frost Giants with great ease in Jotunheim, as well as numerous hordes of Chitauri aliens in the Battle of New York. During the Battle of Sokovia, Thor fought and destroyed many Ultron Sentries effortlessly, prompting an irritated Ultron to tackle him away and deal with Thor personally. Thor was also able to overpower the extremely formidable Destroyer, which even the combined might of Lady Sif and the Warriors Three failed to do, maneuver around the larger Hulk and strike the latter with ease. Thor even went toe-to-toe with the equivalently extremely skilled Dark Elf Malekith, and ultimately defeated the latter after a prolonged battle. Later on, Thor defeated hordes of Surtur's Muspelheim warriors, took down a weakened version of Surtur himself, defeated hordes of Hela's undead soldiers, held his own against, and ultimately stalemated the Hulk in the Contest of Champions (briefly gaining the upper hand), and even held his own multiple times against the more powerful Hela. While Hela easily outclassed Thor in close-range combat during their first fight, Thor proved capable of defending himself better against her in their second fight, although he was still defeated, with Hela gouging out his right eye. Upon gaining his full powers (after seeing a vision from Odin's spirit), however, Thor was able to fight almost equally with Hela in their third and final fight.

Master Martial Artist: While Thor prefers to fight with weapons, he is an extremely skilled hand-to-hand combatant, with him managing to stalemate the Hulk (after gaining his full powers by a vision of Odin's spirit), to easily defeat hordes of Hela's undead troops, and to almost stalemate Hela herself in their third battle, all with his bare hands. Even without his powers.

Master Swordsman: Thor is a highly skilled swordsman, with him choosing a pair of blades out of all available weapons for the Contest of Champions, and managing to block several strikes from the Hulk with them, though the swords broke in the process. Thor later used another pair of blades against Hela in their second battle and was able to momentarily hold his own against her, though Thor was quickly disarmed.

Master Spearman: Thor is extremely skilled at fighting with a spear, as he notably wielded Gungnir in his second battle against Hela, and managed to put up a fairly good fight, but was ultimately overpowered.

Master Leader: While not as skilled a leader as Captain America or Loki, Thor has led Asgard, including highly skilled warriors such as Lady Sif and the Warriors Three, into battle against forces with great leadership, employing strategies and tactics in the process - adapted from various civilizations across the Nine Realms, including forgotten ones. However, after defeating Malekith, Thor refused to be King of Asgard, since despite his leadership experience, Thor claimed not to have the same understanding of rulers as Loki did. Later, despite multiple difficulties along the way, Thor was able to successfully lead the Revengers in defeating Hela and saving Asgardians from Ragnarök. Afterwards, Thor would finally accept his birthright as King of his remaining people, and confidently set out to re-establish a new Asgard on Earth.

Skilled Pilot: Thor has demonstrated being able to pilot various types of alien spacecrafts, such as a Dark Elf Harrow and the Grandmaster's ship, the Commodore.

Hello all, I will be putting together a bio for Scarlet Witch in the next couple of days. :) Just putting my interest out. :)

I am currently working on a post for Loki. It is taking longer than I thought, but I should be able to post it within the next couple of hours!
Romance doesn't go out with a bang, or a whimper. It doesn't die in a blaze, nor a snap. Romance dies in an INFERNO.

This looks very interesting. I will put together a sheet for an OC of mine over the weekend.

Loki
Real Name: Loki Laufeyson
Group Affiliation: The Revengers [Former], Chitauri [Former], Asgard Royal Family
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 180 lbs.
Archenemies: Chitauri, Thanos
Nickname: Trickster God

Powers:
Frost Giant Physiology: Since Loki had been enchanted to look like an Asgardian, Loki's Frost Giant features only came out when he was in contact with Frost Giant magic, such as when he utilizes the Casket of Ancient Winters, or when he was afflicted with the Frost Giants' touch. As a Frost Giant, Loki has superhuman abilities including:

  • Superhuman Strength: Loki possesses considerable superhuman strength, and thus he has overpowered humans, S.H.I.E.L.D agents, and the enhanced human Captain America with little effort, has easily defeated multiple Frost Giants and Dark Elves, and has even held his own in combat against Asgardians. However, Loki's strength is still not quite on the same level as that of Hulk, Valkyrie, or his adoptive brother Thor, though he is still able to fight Thor and Valkyrie on nearly equal grounds, matching their strength with his own skill, speed and agility before they overpowered him.

  • Superhuman Speed: Loki is fast enough to catch Hawkeye's arrow mid-flight, inches away from his neck. He also used his speed in his fight against Captain America, during whch he easily gained the upper hand, at one point even smashing Captain America's sheild to the ground. Loki's speed even allowed him to contend with stronger opponents, such as Valkyrie and Thor, by outmaneuvering them, though he still ultimately loses such fights.

  • Superhuman Agility: Loki has shown immense agility and reflexes, defeating several Dark Elves at once by using swift and agile movements, and keeping up with the stronger Valkyrie for the majority of their fight with his agility, though Loki was ultimately defeated and chained up.

  • Superhuman Durability: Loki has shown himself to be extremely durable to injuries, further augmented by his armor. Hence, Loki only flinched after getting shot in the face with a pistol, and was not at all affected by assault rifle rounds to his torso. Loki also barely reacted to a jab to the face from Captain America, and even a full force kick to the face from the latter that made Loki stumble back, only hurt him slightly. However, sufficiently powerful weapons, such as Iron Man's repulsors, Hawkeye's explosive arrows, and a deflected shot from his own Scepter, are at least able to cause Loki pain and leave minor marks. Loki's durability is implied to be far greater than that of a normal Frost Giant, as he is able to take multiple mighty blows from Valkyrie, and even Hulk and Thor without any fatal damage. In addition, as a Frost Giant, Loki is immune to the extreme cold of Jotunheim. Loki has much less endurance than his brother, as seen when Loki was completely wiped out by Hulk's attack, yet Thor managed to recover from the same attack moments later, without any visible injuries.

  • Superhuman Stamina: Loki possesses superhuman stamina that allows him to fight prolonged battles, such as the Battle of Jotunheim, Battle of New York, the Second Dark Elf Conflict, or the Siege of Asgard. His muscles produce practically no fatigue toxins during physical activity compared to those of humans. His incredible stamina enables him to exert himself at peak capacity for an undefined period of time without tiring at all.

  • Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his astounding resistance to injury, it is still possible to injure or even kill Loki. However, due to his Frost Giant physiology, Loki heals at a rate much faster than that of humans. Hence, Loki was quickly back on his feet even after being brutally smashed multiple times against the ground by Hulk.

  • Longevity: Loki has the capacity to live for thousands of years. Loki was a baby at the end of the last great war between the Asgardians and the Jotuns, over a thousand years ago.

  • Cold Immunity: Due to his Frost Giant physiology, Loki is immune to the otherwise cold and damaging touch of Frost Giants. In fact both a Frost Giant's touch and him either using or even touching the Casket of Ancent Winters, would reveal his true form as a Frost Giant.

Master Sorcerer: Loki learned how to wield Asgardian magic while growing up in Asgard, thanks to his adoptive mother Frigga. He eventually became an extremely skilled and formidable sorcerer, with it being his main asset in battle, though other exceptionally skilled sorcerers, like Master of the Mystic Arts Dr. Strange could contend with him. Even Odin was impressed by Loki's magical skills, and noted that Frigga would have been proud of him.The magical abilities Loki demonstrated were:

  • Illusion Casting: Loki can generate hazy green, holographic light with a wave of his hand, which he has used to create illusions. He was particularly noted to fool enemies who try to attack him with an illusion of himself.

  • Hypnosis: Loki can subtly influence the minds of others, such as when he manipulated Erik Selviginto researching the Tesseract, making him repeat his words and thoughts as if they were his own. Later, Loki was even able to cast such a spell on Odin himself, which induced the All-Father to stay on Midgard while Loki usurped his Asgardian throne for four years, though it should be noted that Odin recovered from the spell's effects shortly before Ragnarök, and choose to remain in exile due to his impending death.

  • Concealment: Loki was able to render himself and others unseen and unheard to whomever he wants. Instead of letting light waves pass through himself, it was simply a trick of the mind, similar to hypnosis.

  • Conjuring: When Heimdall was about to attack him, Loki quickly summoned the Casket of Ancient Winters to use against him, then made it disappear with a wave of his hands. He also appeared to be able to summon his dual daggers out of thin air when threatening Doctor Strange.

  • Telekinesis:  Loki was able to move and influence objects through will alone, akin to generating immense concussive force. During Loki, Thor, Sif, and the Warriors Three's skirmish with the Frost Giants, while using his throwing blades, they flashed green light as he telekinetically launch them with enough force to shatter an ice shield of a Frost Giant. Upon hearing about Frigga's death, Loki, in a fury, clenched his fists and sent everything around the cell flying through the air and crashing into the walls, which also shook the cell violently like a small tremor, causing the light in it to flicker like an electromagnetic pulse.

Skills:

  • Arcane Lore: Loki possesses immense knowledge of and skill in wielding mystical artifacts and arcane lore, notably Gungnir, the Casket of Ancient Winters, and the Tesseract. Loki uses his knowledge primarily to conjure illusions and manipulate others to do his will. He has demonstrated the ability to cause the Casket of Ancient Winters, which he used to freeze Heimdall, to appear and then disappear into thin air in a warped, swirling blur of motion, although it is not immediately clear if this was entirely Loki's doing or, in some way, bound to an inherent property of the item. He also claims to know of secret pathways between worlds that even Heimdall himself is unaware of, which allow Loki to travel without using more common transportation methods (such as the Bifrost), most notably to Midgard and Svartalfheim. As ruler of Asgardand wielder of Gungnir, Loki also gained control of the Destroyer for a time. In addition, Loki had a much better knowledge of his elder sister Hela than Thor did, with him knowing about how the Goddess of Death had defeated and wiped out almost all of Odin's Valkyries. Finally, Loki deduced that reviving Surturrequired placing the Fire Giant's crown in the Eternal Flame.

  • Genius-Level Intellect: Loki is extremely intelligent, particularly in the fields of sorcery, tactics, manipulation, and deception. Hence, despite lacking scientific expertise, he was able to understand and eventually utilize alien technologies with great proficiency, such as when he used a Midgard eye remover on Heinrich Schafer, when learned to use the control console that controlled the cage on Nick Fury's Helicarrier, and when he piloted both a Chitauri and Sakaaran airships.

  • Master Manipulator: Loki's expertise in manipulation has earned him the title of 'God of Mischief'. Hence, Loki successfully manipulated Thor, Sif, and the Warriors Three to attack the Frost Giants, pretending to be sympathetic to Thor's feelings of disrespect, while simultaneously manipulating Laufey and the Frost Giants to attack Asgard, and setting up his own agenda secretly from either party. When Loki needed the banished Thor to stay away from Asgard, he lied to his brother about Odin's death, taking advantage of the fact that the All-Father was in Odinsleep. Shortly after hypnotizing Odin and taking his place, Loki was able to deceive Thor and the rest of Asgard into thinking he was Odin for four years, with Thor only learning the truth from Surtur. Later, when marooned on Sakaar, Loki was able to swiftly convince the Grandmaster to trust him, and later tricked the weak-willed Korg into giving him leadership over the latter's troops.

  • Master Tactician: A crafty genius in orchestrating cunning schemes. Loki maneuvered events to cause the banishment and death of Thor and demise of Laufey, so as to gain Odin's respect. He later allowed himself to be captured by the Avengers and had his brainwashed ally Hawkeye attack Nick Fury's Helicarrier, and provoke the Hulk into a rage, thereby freeing himself and separating the superhero team. Later, Loki helped Thor in the latter's attempt to destroy the Reality Stone by pretending to betray him in full view of Malekith and Kurse, thereby momentarily gaining the Dark Elves' trust. Shortly thereafter, Loki successfully faked his own death, cast a hypnosis spell against Odin, and finally usurped the Asgardian throne for four years. After later being marooned on Sakaar, Loki managed to gain the Grandmaster's trust with relative ease.

  • Expert Combatant: While Loki was far more interested in sorcery than Asgardian warrior arts, he still has considerable skill and training in both armed and hand-to-hand combat that is extensive enough for him to defeat and kill several S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives in mere seconds, to kill several Frost Giants in Jotunheim, to slay multiple Dark Elves at once, using only a dagger, to swiftly overpower the extremely skilled Captain America (the latter even commenting on Loki's fighting skills) in a duel, to temporarily hold his own against the stronger Valkyrie (through his superior agility), and to even temporarily hold his own against Thor on several occasions, though Thor later admits to having held back against his adopted brother.

  • Pilot: Loki is a capable pilot, able to fly numerous alien spaceships, including a Chitauri Chariot, an Asgardian Skiff and the Commodore.

Loki's Social Circle:
Thor: Adoptive brother, and perhaps his only way of rehabilitating back into a somewhat functioning member of society. An occasional prank can't hurt a relationship, can it?
Hulk: He is downright frightened of this man. When he is Bruce, he is somewhat capable of being dealt with, but when he turns into the big green menace, there is no way of dealing with him. DO NOT ANGER AT ANY MOMENT
Valkyrie: He does not know what to think of her. She has tried to kill him on many an occasions, perhaps trying to kill Thor was a bad choice. But what can he say? He wanted to rule Asgard! A man can dream!
The Avengers: He is not in favor of these people. They are made of the Earth's mightiest and smartest heroes. Kind of hard to take over their minds if they are too smart, you know? Well, there is Clint, but they have taken precautions to ensure that never happens again. So where is the fun in that? He will steer clear of them for the time being.[/list]
Romance doesn't go out with a bang, or a whimper. It doesn't die in a blaze, nor a snap. Romance dies in an INFERNO.

Can I put dibs on Doctor Strange? Also, just a personal bucket list item, I'd love to have an opportunity to play out the master-student relationship Doctor Strange had with Scarlet Witch in the comics.

Doctor Strange

Real Name: Dr. Stephen Vincent Strange

Group Affiliation: None (Current head of Kamar-Taj and guardian of the London Sanctum)

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 210 lbs

Arch-Enemies: Dormammu, Mordo

Nickname: Mister Doctor, Master Strange, 'Strange' (as in the adjective, not his name)

Powers:
Doctor Strange was born with an uncommon affinity for the Mystic Arts but did not begin practicing them until recently. He can summon magical energies to form barriers of various sizes or short-range weapons for hand-to-hand combat. He is also the one chosen by the Cloak of Levitation to be its wearer, and it will both grant him the ability to fly as well as defend him when he is vulnerable. As the protector of the Sanctum Sanctorum and destined to be the next Sorcerer Supreme, he is also in possession of the Eye of Agamotto, an Infinity Stone with the ability to manipulate time in many ways, reversing, speeding up, freezing, or causing an endless loop.

He can also access the Mirror Dimension to change the venue of a battlefield to one that will not affect the real world, and increase his mystic power while within it. Possessing a Sling Ring, Strange can also create an instantaneous wormhole to any location he has visited before or can clearly visualize in his mind. He also has limited ability to interact with the physical world while in his Astral form, though it is primarily used for spying or to slow down time and allow him to think of a plan without being under as great of pressure.

Skills:
Stephen was a world-renowned doctor in his previous career, and the greatest brain surgeon of his time. He has also practiced some martial arts but is far from an expert. Also has a photographic memory.

Bio:
An arrogant show-off with an eidetic memory that enabled him to become an M.D. at a very young age, Strange rose to prominence as his amazingly steady hands could perform the most delicate of surgeries with ease. He did not allow what he considered 'hopeless cases' to mar his record and so turned away anyone he did not feel confident he could save. Pride cometh before a fall, however, and Strange's own hubris led him to make the nearly fatal error that would end his career forever. Failing to heed the simple rule of keeping one's eyes on the road, he was run off the road while distracted by yet more prospective opportunities for glory while on the way to a ceremony to honor him. A spectacular accident that no one should rightly have survived merely cost him the use of his once-miraculous hands, and his position as a surgeon of any kind was scrapped.

Obsessed with regaining his former status, Strange met with failure after failure to restore his hands' steadiness and strength, until it drained the last of his resources and angered him to the point of alienating the last person he could call a friend, Dr. Christine Palmer, a former lover. In desperation he turned to a man he once refused to help, who had once been bound to a wheelchair but was now playing basketball as if never injured at all. Informed of a mystic healer in Khatmandu, Strange spent his last dollar traveling to the temple of Kamar-Taj to study under the Ancient One and learn whatever secrets would heal his hands in a way Western medicine had no ability to. What he found when he crossed their doorstep was beyond his wildest imagination.

Healing his hands slowly became a secondary, and in time, entirely forgotten concern of Strange when he met Wong, Mordo and the Ancient One and saw first-hand that magic was indeed real, and that those who wielded it did so in order to defend Earth from threats unseen. Initially afraid to become part of this defensive force, Strange was forced into action when the Ancient One's corrupt former pupil Kaecilius attacked one of the three Sanctums that protected the world from interdimensional threats. Watching its guardian ruthlessly murdered, Strange bravely stepped forward to battle Kaecilius and his acolytes, though he was outclassed, and triumphed only due to the intervention of the mystical Cloak of Levitation. Regrouping with Mordo, the battle continued and cost the Ancient One her life. Now motivated to do the right thing and abandon his selfish goals, Strange now took up the Eye of Agamotto to reverse time and prevent Kaecilius' plan from succeeding and destroying all three Sanctums so that the dweller of the Dark Dimension, the dread Dormammu, could be free to feast upon the Earth.

Using trickery to force Dormammu into a compromise, Strange triumphed and the Earth was safe from a danger it never knew it was in. Resolving to stand in defense of the Earth for as long as he lived, Strange now resides in London's Sanctum and keeps tabs on threats of a magical nature. The presence of Odin, Thor and Loki on Earth were just the beginning, and even more were to come knocking. Whether magical or not, however, a threat great enough would get him to respond with all the power he can muster. Mordo, his former friend, on the other hand, abandoned Kamar-Taj after learning of the lies told to him by the Ancient One and Strange's reckless use of the Eye of Agamotto, and has become obsessed with ridding the world of Sorcerers, though Strange has yet to encounter him again since their falling out. For now, Strange continues to practice the arts with Kamar-Taj librarian and warrior Wong, as Strange traverses the path to becoming the next Sorcerer Supreme.
