Maybe she was losing it - now it looked as if some other things had been moved as well. It reminded her of Craig, unexpectedly - after one of his "all-nighters" movie nights the living room had been looking the same.

darkvamplips

(Did we talk about another person joining in)?

She covered her ears and fell to the groudnd. "Craig." She cried out having being able to hold it together up until now. There were things happening in her house that reminded her of her brother.
He once said "If he ever hurt you I will walk again to hurt him." Well he did hurt me and where is my friend? RIP Coby you are still on mind even after 10 years.

(No, we did not.)

The house was empty, yet somehow his presence seemed to have lingered, beyond his death. The touches here and there, the memories... despite the damages it was as if he had just stepped out - or gone to his room.

darkvamplips

(Do you want to be another brother)?

It still felt like her brother was here and the tears kept streaming down her face. She didn't think she could keep this house because of the memories but couldn't bare to part with it.

(I'd rather not. I prefer a more fantastic element.)

The day passed slowly, with her finding a few more oddities - like the satellite tv tuner reprogrammed. And a visit from a cop - apparently someone had brutalized a few reporters trying to sneak in during the night, and the police wondered if she had seen anything.

darkvamplips

(Well we can still have what we are doing. I mean I want to actually play out the time where he does not come back. Slowly she'll become worse. I would like another character sometime)

When the cop had come in she told him no she didn't see anyone come in. Sighing she went to sit on the couch and turn on the television the satellite was working. A tear slid down her cheek.

(I hadn't planned on there being a lot of time passing between the death and the return - although he might not be seen for sometime.)

The funeral was scheduled for the next day. A black dress had been sent by someone - she wasn't sure if it was a social worker, or a neighbor.

darkvamplips

(I was hoping there would be a long time)

When the black dress arrived she opened the box and sighed. Just another memory that her brother was gone. She went upstairs to try it on.

The dress fit - not perfectly, but well enough. Not that it would matter much, unless the press managed to snap some pictures during the funeral.

(I don't know how supernatural elements would come into play without, well, supernatural elements being present.)

darkvamplips

(Well I would like this to  continue for a while somehow)

At least the dress was nice and she took it off waiting for tomorrow. She went into her brothers room wanting to sleep there tonight.

The room strangely felt as if her brother had just left. A piece of clothing on the floor looked like it had been dropped, carelessly, by him, sure she'd gather it and drop it in the laundry bin.

darkvamplips

That shirt was not there before she picked it up and pulled it close to her chest. She laid down and held it to her feeling close but he was not here. Was she loosing her mind?

The shirt still smelled like him, yet a bit different too - something she could not capture in words, just something different.

darkvamplips

Tears spilled over her eyes and onto the shirt. Why did it smell different? At least it still smelled the same kind of.

There were other things that felt off - like his computer. She did not remember plugging his laptop in after pulling the plug during the storm in case of a power surge.

darkvamplips

What was going on? She looked from the bed to the laptop and noticed it was one. She could have sworn that she had turned it off before.

The laptop was still on, just the screensaver with password question blinking there.

darkvamplips

"What's going on?" She asked knowing no one would answer her.

As expected no one answered her, the icon demanding a password entered remained blinking.

darkvamplips

She put down the shirt and walked over typing his password in. Why was she doing this? There couldn't be something on this computer from him could there? Something he had wrote before?

The computer slowly booted up and showed the desktop of her brother. Opening the explorer she checked the last documents used - and found one from last night...

darkvamplips

She was searching as if feeling something was on the computer from her brother. Double clicking the document she opened it hesitantly and started reading.

It was a rather banal document - some new patch for one of her brother's favorite games. But it was downloaded last night, and installed.

darkvamplips

She sighed as a few tears washed over her eyes. She wanted a note or something that he had written to her.

Looking through the files she saw a "diary" document. Last change was yesterday.
