Message Notification constantly on

For a couple of months, my message notification bar has been saying I have a new message, even though they're all read. Now, today, it's started saying I have two! I've gone through all the messages and it doesn't change.
May Evaporate Without Warning, But It Doesn't Mean I've Dropped The Game! I'll Always Notify If I Don't Want To Continue!
