Hey everyone!

I am recruiting whoever is interested in to my new RP. This will be using the same thematic elements from Game Protagonists at War. However there are quite a lot of story, and mechanic differences that I hope will make it feel unique in it's own way. I hope you are interested!

Map of the Video Game Universe

The Story

Centuries ago the whole of the Video Game universe fell under threat by a terrible enemy remembered only now as The Dominion. It's power was unrivaled, it methods merciless, and it's goal simple. The complete destruction of the Video Game universe. For the first time in known history, Heroes and Villians stood side by side with one another in the despearte attempt to repel an enemy that meaned to end their very existence. The Champions (Heroes & Villians) fell by the thousands in a desperate attempt to repel an enemy they were wholly unprepared for.

During the peak of these great events, a council was called between both Heroes and Villains which would determine the fate of all Champions. If they were to survive, then there must be complete unity between both good and evil. All Video Game characters and empires would need to rise underneath the complete rule of a single, all powerful monarch. One who could be trusted with the fate of all Video Game worlds. An Empress was chosen, and the Dynasty was born. With absolute power, the Empress used the whole of the magical artifacts and technologies at the disposal of all Champions. She sacrificed entire worlds for single victories. Decimated whole systems of planets and stars just to halt the oncoming march from the Dominion's ceaseless forces. Though now little is remembered about that time, one fact has lived on about that long-ago enemy. Used to terrify young Champions in to their beds at night. The Dominion, whatever it was, needed to harvest the living in order to quench it's awesome hunger. In order to continue this war. The losses were great, the battlefields were littered with the dead. But in the end the Dynasty succeeded. The Dominion was destroyed, or repelled back to whatever place it came from. And has not been seen or heard from since.

In the aftermath of the war, the Empress was quick to establish the Dynasty as the supreme ruler of all worlds. Her castle, and seat of power was established in Anor Londo from the Dark Souls universe. Many had said that once the Dominion was vanquished the absolute power the Dynasty held would return to the many smaller governments, Kings, Queens, gods and nations of each respective video game world. This was not the case. The Dynasty destroyed all easily accessible recorded data or written text regarding the Dominion. Supposedly in order to prevent their return from ever taking place. Likewise, the Empress decreed that Heroes and Villains would be equally stationed within the ranks of the Dynasty, so long as they were loyal to the will of the Empress. Each could find equal reward. Finally, a great peace followed where Video Game Heroes and Villains were allowed to return to their homes and continue their own agendas. So long as none threatened the Dynasty, and all paid homage to it's infinite rule through artifacts, slaves for their armies, and monetary tribute.

In the present day, the Dynasty's control has diminished. Corruption in both Heroes and Villains has run rampant. Though still enormously powerful, several rival factions with their own agendas have grown in power. Establishing their own seats of power in one world or another. The Black Veil, the Galactic Federation of Trade. The Coalition of Adventurers. Most tired of living beneath the thumb of a tyrannical government. The many Video Game universes are simply too large to hold completely for the Empress and the armies of the Dynasty. If any of these groups are found to be directly working against the will of the Dynasty, they are met with bloody conflict.

The story begins with a group of Heroes and Villains who have been accused of crimes against the Dynasty on their way to their own execution.

The Game

The idea of this game is that everyone will be playing video game characters, whether a Hero or Villain in the universe that you choose to pick! Think of the Dynasty a lot like a Nazi Germany who the world allowed to take control when the need was most dire. Now that the immenant threat has passed, over several generations people have begun to rebel against this monarchy. This will be a large theme of the game, rebelling against the Dynasty. However there will be a great deal of things going on that the players can choose to pursue instead! In fighting with other factions, Video Game universes at war with others. New enemies, quests for powerful artifacts, it could go a lot of different ways depending on player choice! Because the Dynasty has created this environemnt of “Hero or Villain, it does not matter” you will discover that the world has both good guy characters and bad guy characters interacting together in relative peace. Chun-Li might be sharing a drink with Albert Wesker, who is very poorly trying to flirt with her.

The Heroes and Villains

You can play any character that you want, pending that it has not been reserved by another character who is in the process of creating them, or they are not already devoted to something story wise. This includes picking video game villains. It is important to remember that there really are not good guys and bad guys. In this world, you could find that Jim Raynor is the head of the Dynasty Death Squad. Or, that Ganondorf is the heading an anti-Dynasty resistance organization. How Champions act determines whether they are good or bad. Not who they are in their respective video game. All characters must come from a video game world. You are allowed to roll your own OC from a MMO or a game where you are allowed to design and play a unique character right off the bat. You will find additional information on constructing OC also in the next section.

The Powers

One of the first things to keep in mind is that video game characters are not immortal. Some characters have an automatic immunity to aging (undead types) but they can still be killed. Video game characters have an average lifespan of roughly 500 years before they die of old age. Video game characters are extremely resiliant (can heal most non-lethal wounds, including limb loss) but they can die in battle through extraordinary levels of damage. These Heroes or Villains who die are often replaced by what is known as a Reborn. A Reborn is someone who takes up the mantle of that previous dead character after they've passed on. Adopting all of their powers, fighting techniques, and magical or technilogical arsenal. Thematically, these will be played out as Original Characters. So, if you want to play a female Scorpion for instance, you can roll that character. You just need to explain that Scorpion died, or was killed at some point in the past, and you have taken up his mantle and become the Reborn – Scorpion.

You are also welcome to play a monster-type character, and choose for them to appear human. All Protagonists and Villain's share certain powers. One of these powers is the ability to turn into a humanoid version of their character. That way you can travel more easily, and converse or have sex without it being crazy weird.

Unless I say otherwise you can also assume that you have the max-level powers and items of your respective characters. There will be some magical artifacts that were confiscated by the Dynasty during the war with the Dominion, or have just been lost over time. I will make special note to tell you if you select a character with one of these limitations.

All characters will start at equal level. Even if you select a character who in the universe of their video game might seem more powerful than someone elses, they are not. The Minecraft guy's hammer hits just as hard as your death ray.

The Sex

We will have threads specifically dedicated to sex and smut scenes for players! You can also feel free to PM your smut scenes with your partner if you would rather not let the entire party see it.

The Threads

There will be two types of threads in this game. A Main Story Thread, and a Side Scene thread. The Main Story thread will be where the story for the arc we are playing progresses. In those, you may only post 1 time before a GM post. There will be rules around post frequency inside of this thread for Active players. The Side Scene threads can be constructed by players with GM approval. You may post in these however much you'd like, but nothing that happens inside of these threads will be canon to the story as a whole.

The Rules

First and most important rule, be nice to one another. If you have a question and are unable to determine the answer in the OOC, please PM me. Second, there will be an expected post rate for Main Story threads. Please post at least 1 time every 3 days in the Main Story Thread.

More to come as I think of them!

Active Threads:

The Character Sheets

A lot of this will be self-explanatory if you choose a more famous video game character. What I am primarily interested in is what your character did to warrant attracting the anger of the Dynasty. The game begins with all of the player's characters being karted off to their execution. Maybe you were falsly accused, maybe you actually did something against them! You can feel free to decide, and make up some stuff in your backstory to support it.

Feel free to post your character sheets in this thread. Do not transition them over to the OOC section until you have received approval from me. If you want to get your sheet out there, but leave in a note that says you are going to discuss pre-existing relationships with other characters after approval, that is fine with me as well.

Because this Video Game universe, and the control of the Dynasty extends across fantasy and science fiction worlds, you can really go wild.

Current Occupation: [Your character's current day job.]

Home World Information:

Appearance/Style Description: *You can make your appearance more modern, or completely different from the game character. Also, feel free to add something changing how they look to make them more physically attractive.

Sexuality: (List your O&O if there is something specific)

Personality: [The most important part. Try to make it interesting and believable.]

History:

Current Situation:

Weapon: You may have a weapon that is not in your canon, just explain it in your backstory. Maybe you picked it up while helping one of the organizations, collected it during some past adventure, or during your time in the Dynasty military. For instance of Mario wanted to have a Covenant Plasma Sword. Go nuts.

Special Powers: You may feel free to invent a appropriate amount of custom powers for your character, that fit with their theme and game. I would not pick more than 3.

Strengths: This can be anything, related or not related to your character's fighting abilities. My recommendation would be to pick 2 things that make you a badass Protagonist, and 2 things that are not related to combat.

Weaknesses: This can also be anything, but note that you must have at least 1 combat weakness. Try to shy away from just having personality related weaknesses, these need to be actual limitations of your character that can be used in the story. If you would like to PM me for discussion on this, because you want it to be a story element that's fine! Or potentially something related to your artifact weapon or home world.

FAQ

How is this game different from Game Protagonists at War?
- Format wise it is very similar for obvious reasons. The story however will be completely different. Nothing from the Game Protagonists at War game will be canon in this game. Also, it will not take place in the Game Protagonists at War big game status board.

If there are no stats in the game, how do fights work?
- Basically you will post what you do with your character during the fight. For instance, my character jumps forward and slashes at the enemies neck. The GM will inform you as to the result of that attack during their post. Players will not determine the effectiveness of their own abilities in their posts.

Are video game characters based on some movie or anime acceptable?
- Yes

How is this game going to progress?
- One of the big things that I like to do as a GM is present the players with options and see which one they take. After the introductory events that I have set up, the players will be given options for what the next arc could be during in character posts. That choice will determine the next arc, so on and so forth. All the while a larger storyline will develop around them.

How do we get stronger?
- As characters, you will earn loot in the game during your adventures. Very much like an actual roleplaying game. Also, at the end of each arc, each character will be granted a Level Up. You can use these to give yourself a new power, which will be added to your character sheet.

What is a Reborn?
- Basically a mechanism that you as players can use to create a original looking and acting character, but have the power set of a famous video game character. I will be a bit more hardcore in approving these characters.

I am heavily leaning on playing Shepard. But I want to give it a day or so to see if I suddenly get a burst of inspiration for a different character.

Warframe Armour and Recon aka W.A.R.

Current Occupation: {No amount of affirmative action is going to give me a job outside of what I do.}

Home World Information: Warframe

Appearance/Style Description: To make himself (and others) more… comfortable outside of his war frame, he has adopted a human form in order to better communicate with others. Within a Warframe he is in essentially pure energy and is tied directly into the suit of armor he wields.

Sexuality: Unknown ; He is new to having an actual body and as such he is in fact quite unsure save for he favors the company of females.

Personality: He prefers actions over words and is not the type to mince them unless needed. He is ruthless in combat and focuses intensely upon the mission. Serious and not one to make jokes or snark, he is more than liable to misinterpret otherwise obvious social banter.

History: The Tenno originated from far in a distant future where humanity is all but extinct and after the deposed orokin empire was betrayed during a war for survival by their trusted guards, warriors and assassins called the Tenno. Beings that have been changed when traveling through the void and engineered to be agents of death. However the Lotus usurped the Tenno with a promise to make and forge their own destiny rather than be subservient to the Orokin Empire. After which they were sent into stasis and in the Orokins place, the Grinner Empire now control the Solar System, essentially an infinite army of xenophobic cybernetic clones ideally seeking perfection of their own cloning process for the glory of the queens and the Corpus, merchants whom seek profit however they can. No trade is too deplorable, no act too low so long as it makes them money. The Tenno have reawaken in this time span acting as mercenaries and trying to keep the Corpus, Grineer and Dynasty in check.

Current Situation: Currently undergoing a contract to liberate several heroes and heroines at an execution by posing as one of those to be executed… The motherly figure and handler of the Tenno, the Lotus intends to overcharge the Tenno during the execution to allow him to break free of his bonds and liberate as many heroes as possible alongside another squad of rebels. For the Lotus, it's time to make their presence known.

Weapons and Inventory

The Warframe - The Tenno don these battle suits like a man does with clothes. Each Warframe comes with its own unique strengths, weaknesses and special abilities and powers. Each suit is unique and the arsenal is ever expanding however each operator only ever starts with one Warframe of their own. There are over twenty Warframes in total and yet this newest Tenno has but one to his arsenal. Each Warframe has several perks and four abilities to make use of in battle. Warframes are capable of providing life support to its user to perform at peak efficiency and are capable of surviving within the vacuum of space or in toxic atmospheres indefinitely though they gradually become weakened without auxiliary life support to refresh their supply when in such environments. These Warframes can be modified to suit the users need and improve upon the default systems parameters. For obvious reasons one can only wear one suit at a time. Each Warframe shall be fleshed out as they are acquired.

~Warframes Acquired~

Volt - Weak Armor, Amazing Shields, Moderate Health, Amazing Speed and Maneuverability (Shocking, efficient and deadly, Volt is a tactically advantageous Warframe, making full use of electricity to change the course of battle to his favor. Shock unleashes a powerful surge of chain lighting that jumps to nearby foes surrounding the intended target and can stun those it does not kill. Speed allows Volt to overcharge his suit to run at breakneck speeds and improved dexterity which also allows his nearby team members to improve in mobility as well. Electric Shield creates a barrier that stops incoming projectiles whilst charging Volt and his team members outgoing projectile weapons with electricity. Overload allows Volt to release a powerful wave of energy around his immediate vicinity which overloads all electrical devices and brutally shocks all enemies within the area.)

The Archwing - This is mechanized pair of wings that allow the Tenno to engage space born enemies and can also function underwater. It is however not a terrestrial based type of equipment. Similar to a stunt fighter crossed with a mech, but much more durable when properly modified and cared for. It is meant to deal deathblows to dreadnaught class ships such as star destroyers and similar warships. Capable of engaging an armada of small class fighters, it is equipped with a primary gun and melee weapon which are variable. It is also, like all Tenno Warframes and Armaments, capable of being modified. Equipped with its own shields and armor, the Archwing is a formidable answer to the battleships the Dynasty might throw. An important note is that when the Archwing is under use the loadout of the Archwing (Weapons and Mods) takes priority over the Warframe (Weapons, Sentinels/Kubrows, Mod) loadout.

Archwings Acquired

Odonata - [Moderate Armor, Moderate Shields, Moderate Health, Moderate Speed and Manuverability] This Archwing is a well balanced start to a Warframes space combat arsenal. Bolsters with a deployment of scramblers to avoid lock on missiles, a frontal over shield that can be activated to stop most incoming projectiles, along with an battery of short range image recognition missiles to clear an area along with a deployable repulser sphere to force nearby enemies away from the Archwing. Primary and Secondary Weapon Slot is the Imperator, a Heavy Machine Gun with Anti Material Rounds meant to destroy targets along with the Veritux a giant sword capable of slicing through enemy drones and small ships.

Tenno Armaments - The Tenno are armed with an array of weaponry with each one fully customizable with mods. From hand cannons and machine guns to kunais and bows to even grenade, shotguns and laser based weaponry, there is very little the Tenno can get their hands on with enough time and resources. However like every single weapon and armament they are all needing to be acquired or created in the foundry. As such the Tenno dedicate a significant amount of time to their weapons. Each Tenno starts with a primary weapon which is an auto rifle or bow, a pistol or kunai, or a skana or bo staff all of mark one quality.

Armaments Acquired

Burston MKI - [Primary] A basic auto rifle capable of being switched from burst fire to auto fire with quick efficiency.

Lato MKI - [Secondary] A semi automatic hand cannon which is deadly at point blank range.

Skana - [Melee] A short sword capable of slicing through Grineer cybernetics and armor. Can have energy channeled through it for even greater sharpness

The Liset - This is the Tenno's primary means of travel throughout the galaxy. A one man crewed stealth ship, this serves as a Tenno's base of operations and his primary means of extraction and deployment during missions. It is also where all weapons and equipment are created and modified. Capable of wormhole jumps to allow rapid navigations amongst the stars, the primary function is to ensure the Tenno is able to get into a location and back out again swiftly. Each Liset has it's own Artificial Intelligence which is expressly loyal to the Tenno and pilots and navigates the ship for the Tenno when they are not actually inside of it. This Tenno in particular has an AI by the name of Cephalon Ordis whom requires maintenance after having been tampered with by the Grinner. He is missing several bits of data and can glitch out at times into bizarre and sometimes volatile mood swings. Ordis often tells the Tenno "to return - COVERED IN BLOOD - safe and sound." Needless to say Ordis takes exception to those whom have tampered with him and also those whom might cause harm to his Operator.

Special Powers

Basic Biology - Tenno have no special attributes of their own save for the fact that they are beings of living energy capable of undertaking human form outside of their Warframes. Their 'superpowers' if one can call them that is that they can interface with an incredible assortment of technologies. No one knows if they started off as beings of energy or flesh. This is supposedly their own sacrifice made for the power of the Warframes they control. They lack the ability to reproduce and do not physical age.

Strengths

Ninjas in Space - Tenno are highly trained combatants, cunning hackers, and nimble space shinobi. They are capable of setting themselves up for any mission and thus succeeding. They take out high ranking targets, steal secrets be it information or items of significant value, destroy and sabotage vital points and harvest resources from enemy mining facilities. Capable of ripping mechanical monsters in half with their bare hands, capable of wall hiking and amazing variable feats of agility they are some of the best free agents one can ever find. As such they are often sought after by ally and foes to handle problems.

Safety in Numbers - The Tenno have a various number of contacts and many contracts are given to the Tenno to sabotage, assassinate and steal valuable resources even amongst friend and foes. They are mercenary and everyone seeks the Tenno out. The Tenno's true loyalty is to their own. When Tenno leave on a mission they can usually call up to a four man squad of fellow Tenno for very important missions if the incentive is properly made or the mission mutually benefits the other Tenno he calls upon in some way. But Tenno can count amongst their own to back them up in a mission.

The Lotus - Deep within the Void, within an unknown location remains the handler of every single Tenno, the Lotus. She is their mother and they are her children. She was the reason the Tenno sought their own liberation from the Orokin and systematically assassinated their leaders. When it came time however for the Lotus to turn on the Tenno she did not. She does not have any children of her own and cannot have any due to her sacrifice in the void. As such she views the Tenno as her children. She is their handler in combat, their intelligence and co-ordinator outside of it. She sets up the mission parameters and can directly help the Tenno in various ways such as over clocking their Warframes to put them at peak fighting conditions should they be debilitated or sending life support when the enemy has shut down life support systems.

Weaknesses

Limited Versatility - The Operator of the Warframes is limited in what they can bring to the battlefield and have to prepare and adapt to what lies before them. At the start their versatility cannot factor in because they lack the resources to change weapons and frames. However regardless of how much they acquire, they are limited to wearing one Warframe, and three weapons with a companion (sentinel or kubrow) and arch-wing as support. Furthermore the Archwing is under use it's stats and load out takes priority over the Warframe's load out. Thus there is no way to circumvent this drawback.

Self Reliant Armaments - Each Operator is essentially on his own for procuring weapons, mods and new warframes. Using the foundry to create new weapons of wars after procuring blueprints and resources, only then can the Tenno truly be a forced to be reckoned with. They are an island unto themselves and each armament and mod acquired must be earned. As such he only starts with one warframe, one primary weapon, one secondary weapon and one melee weapon. This is not pay to win after all, this is free to play.

Socially Repressed - The Operator has no true form to call it's own and the Tenno have no sense of identity beyond their lives as Assassins. Socially this makes him yet to bloom in his own fashion and presents a number of social issues. He for instance cannot seem to come down from his mindset of always upon a mission. He will solely focus on it and has yet to ever let his guard down. This also means he will remain within his own sort of bubble in terms of employment. An assassin is an assassin after all.

Speaking of Full Metal Panic....

My (WIP) character!

Jack Archer

Game: Robotech: Battlecry

Current Occupation: Mercenary.

Home World Information: The Home Universe of Jack Archer is a very technologically fluctuating state. The Humans of Earth had a Goldmine dropped into their laps with the Arrival of Zor's masterpiece, The SDF-1. Within it, the greatest power source the universe has ever known, The Protoculture Matrix, was stored. There are many powerful Alien Races that are veying for control of this limitless power source. Causing the Earth to nearly be destroyed several times over.

Appearance/Style Description: Jack stands 6'2" tall, weighs at 184lbs, Hazel eyes, and dark blue hair. His style is conservative trendy. Generally Jeans with a button up shirt, and jacket.

Personality: Jack is a friendly, out going person. Some would say confident. In the skies, he is like many other fighter Pilots. Confident, on the border of Arrogant. However, he is very lethal.

Sexuality: Hetrosexual.

History:
The Global Civil War:
Born 14 September 1980. Jack was born before the start of the Global War, and his parents died shortly into the conflict, leaving him an orphan. His country's military drafted him at a very young age, a disposition which he was not against as the position kept in him off of the destructive and horrific ground of his home land. His government soon dissolved, and he eventually became a mercenary. He fought for both sides of the conflict, depending on who he was offered the best pay to fight for. He briefly met another famous pilot of the war, Roy Fokker, multiple times in this position, sometimes as an enemy and sometimes as an ally.

After the Macross Incident forced the war to a close, work dried up for Jack, and he soon became able to enjoy his life once more. He began working on Macross Island on reconstructing the crashed battle fortress. It was during work one day that he was recognized by Roy, who was now working with the RDF on Project Valkyrie. Roy described the project to Jack, and entailed descriptions of the VF-1's great feats, which Jack only believed when he was given the chance to fly alongside Roy in his own fighter. Shocked an intrigued, Jack began to learn the secrets of the Veritech along Fokker.

Jack graduated from the Robotech Academy in record time because of his capabilities as a combat pilot, although had less than spectacular grades (he hated to study). He was given a combat assignment with Wolf Squadron based on Macross Island.

The Robotech War:
Despite his reputation for being a rebel, Jack joined the military as soon as he was old enough to ensure his survival during the wars of the late 20th century. In the cockpit of a fighter jet, Jack quickly found that he had a natural gift for flying and combat. A protégé of Roy Fokker, Jack was one of the first pilots of the new Veritech Fighter and proved to be a valuable clutch in the first face-off against the Zentraedi invaders.

Reconstruction Era:
Where Jack Archer's military career really shined was during the Reconstruction Era after the climactic battle with Dolza's fleet

Jack Archer spearheaded covert missions against rogue bands of Zentraedi forces under the command team of Lisa Hayes and Helen Chase. Also, He formed team work alongside Rick Hunter to rescue Lynn Minmey. During this campaign, Archer pursued the warlord Zeraal, who was working to sabotage Earth's rebuilding efforts.

Later in that year, Jack was trapped in a space fold with Zeraal. Zeraal was killed by Jack, and was left to suffocate in space, likely to die.

Jack would be spared his fate by the one time Zentraedi Commander that he spared whom turned Double Agent for the RDF, Skard. Folding in with a Quiltra Queleual Class Landing Ship Tank with only a few minutes of air left within Jack's Veritech Fighter.

Dynasty Era:
After the War with the Dominion, to which Jack distinguished himself with his skill as a Veritech Fighter pilot, He fell into with the Dynasty's vision of a grand future. Flying for them for decades after the war. However, as time past, he saw more, and more free worlds come under the tyrannical thumb of the Empress, and her Dynasty. Countless worlds that were forced to disarm at the threat of utter destruction. The last straw was his own world. Seeing the proud Zentraedi, and their fleets being forced to abandon their culture. Their once proud faces now so lost, they're merely a shell of their former selves. It made him happy that his Rival did not live to see what became of her people.

Jack Refused to turn over his VF-1S Veritech Fighter to the Dynasty to be destroyed, and escaped his world. Moving from place to place. Taking odd contracts like he did during the global Civil War. Anything to keep his baby flying, and food in his belly. However, It was only a few short years before Jack was nearly killed in a dogfight. He narrowly avoided dying by ejecting from his beloved Veritech before it crashed into the ground.

For a while he was without a plane, and a way to make a living. However, he kept his ear to the ground, and followed rumors of a place where there was still a Variable Fighter. In the Macross Game World. What Jack found was a world eerily similar to his own in many respects. It was also where He found his new Fighter tucked away in the back of a dusty hanger on an abandoned base. It was only a prototype, but it was leagues ahead of what he knew. He would come to find out that the Fighter was the Prototype VF-19 "Eagle One" Fighter.

Sooo, is this specifically video games, or does it also extend to things like Warhammer? I have a billion and a half choices, as far as the characters I love go, but I am wondering!

I know a couple of War Hammer Video games. Space Marines immediately come to mind.

Ork: SPICE MAHRINES!?

BruceTheCat

Happy to see your interest guys! I will review the submitted sheets as soon as possible and let you know if I have any feedback!

To answer your question Thorne, only one character is allowed for right now.

Vaulera, only video game characters are allowed, but there are tons of Warhammer video games so that would be totally applicable!

I know! Luckily enough I managed to find what I was looking for! I want to play an Adeptas Sororitas, but they aren't very heavily featured in games. Thankfully enough, I found them in Dawn of War soulstorm. A pertinent question. Does it have to be a specific named character (there is one, lovely enough,) or can it be generic? Either way, I think I'll get a Battle Sister in this thing, with power weapons and bolters.

Rish

Feeling a little better, and I would like to play Ganondorf if that's possible? And would he still have the triforce of power or would that be taken from him?

BruceTheCat

You can feel free to create your own original character for the Sisters of Battle! I love those ladies.

If you would like to have the Triforce of Power Rish, that is fine with me. I would probably put a note in that says "It's powers have diminished severely and needs to be unlocked again". That way you can role play it getting more powerful as you grow in power as a character. Or, you could choose not to have it and make getting the Triforce of Power back (maybe it was taken by the Dynasty) a big part of your characters story

Your sheets look awesome so far Mac and Hurna! The only thing I would add Mac is what you've done to warrant being executed by the Dynasty. It can be simple. If you used to be a part of their military, maybe you've gone AWOL. Or, maybe you saw or did something that the Dynasty wants to cover up.

Additional note to everyone, I am drafting up a bunch of information on places of interest and major organizations in this world. Big cities (Citadel, Hyrule, Golden Spire) as well as a lot of the important non-Dynasty factions and organizations. We will have a World Building Thread for the game!

Lustful Bride

Miranda Keys

Current Occupation: Pirate Captain and sometimes Mercenary.

Home World Information: the Halo verse was one of the first worlds that the Empress wanted to claim for her own, the massive shipyards and industrial power were a boon, helping to establish her dominance over the region. The Dynasty had its navy necessary to swing its might wherever it needed it. All it wanted in return was the dismemberment of all its military forces and a yearly tribute of ships, at a rate which would require most of the populace to work in factories. The few who aren't slaving their lives away to fill the tribute are living in luxury as the elite and wealthiest of the world without a care to be had, except for those damnable pirates.

Appearance/Style Description: Miranda, despite no longer being in the UNSC and now nothing more than a pirate and mercenary captain, still prefers wearing the old uniforms, in some way she feels it keeps the memory of it alive and well. She also uses it to show that she is far more professional than her other counterparts who chose to wear strange, flamboyant, and raggedy clothing.

Sexuality: Bisexual leaning more towards Hetero.

Personality: Miranda is bitter about how her world bent the knee so easily to the Dynasty and allowed it to step on them without so much as an argument. This was what led to her going AWOL when the time came to turn in her ship to be dismantled. Otherwise she has a fair sense of humor thanks to a certain Sgt. and isn't afraid to fight dirty when she needs to.

History: Miranda was there when the Dynasty asked her world to turn over every weapon it had, how the Empress would ensure their safety, and all that was asked in return was eternal servitude. She was one of the few who rejected and stole her own ship, vowing to do her part to take a stand against the Dynasty and an Empress who was just as evil as the foes she once fought. For a while Miranda and the "In Amber Clad" were in hiding, waiting until they had been forgotten, and given the perfect moment to strike.

No one would have suspected or prepared for a military class vessel to take to piracy, so none but the toughest of ships were ever ready when Miranda came about. She would steal anything and everything she could to keep her vessel going, down to spare nuts and bolts, even at times shangheing the crew to have those able to repair and update her ship. But even then piracy could only pay so many of the bills. And she knew that by raiding everyone she would only make enemies. so she chose to put herself out there for some mercenary business. She would find her best benefactors with the Terran Federation and the unit "Razchak/Rico's Roughnecks." the federation never stopped its war against all things insect. It only escalated it, hunting down any bug out there, whether they be good or evil. They certainly had the ships, weapons, and soldiers needed to do it. So she provided discreet operations, rescuing trapped MI units, assaulting and raiding enemy positions marked for her. In exchange she would get free reign to travel through Fed space so long as she behaved and even got paid.

Her latest mission before being captured by the Dynasty's thugs was pulling a rescue operation for the Roughnecks, in which they thanked her by gifting her their unit's tattoo on her back. So at least now she will always remember the Roughnecks.

Current Situation: At the moment she is now a prisoner of the Dynasty, awaiting either execution or rescue.

Weapon: She prefers to stick with what she knows and can handle.

Small Silenced SMG
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Shotgun.
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Special Powers: Pilgrim: Something that Miranda learned when she was traveling with her ship through various worlds, was that she had a power within her. During a short stop from raiding in the Wing Commander universe, she learned of the Pilgrims, people who were naturally atuned in that world with the galaxy around them and almost as at home within space as a fish within water. At first she thought it was all sailor talk, until she honestly took a look at her methods. She didn't navigate or command her ship using complex mathematics or physics....she just knew. Like she had been flying through space since time began, perhaps there was something to this pilgrim stuff.

Strengths:
Ship Captain: Miranda has developed her skills at flying through space, and avoiding Dynasty patrols.

Weaknesses:
-Not the Strongest. While Miranda isn't exactly a pushover, she certainly has trouble matching up to the might of the Dynasty without a ship at her fingertips.

-Close to home: With so many various factions and groups, all fighting for power and dominance, it was difficult for Miranda to pick a side. She needed something she could relate to, which has caused her to usually throw her lot in with some Xenophobic groups. The Federation, Cerberus, she may not agree with them 100% of the time, but more so than most other groups.

Hmmmm, I'll need to think about it. Without the triforce of power he will not have any access to his gannon form, or his insane magics. He'll still have powers, but he'll need to start training and perfecting his fighting style. Perhaps even learning to use new weapons and gadgets along the way to getting back the triforce which is rightfully HIS.

While having it slowly increase in slowly increase in power could work rather well too. Giving him a monster form later on that will help when we need a sheer powerhorse to to break through things. And seriously amp up his magic..

Oh! I have an idea. That will involve a bit of both ideas. Let him have the triforce but have it sealed so only the most basic abilities are given with it. Making him unaging, general power boost to magic, his bodies power etc. I'd need to think who were responsible for sealing his power as they'd be people he wants to kill though.

BruceTheCat

That sounds pretty exciting Rish!

Go ahead for now and just say that the power was "sealed away". Since I am still developing the world and its major characters, I would like to put a good deal of thought as to who would be strong enough to seal away a Triforce. Then we can make it a big story reveal for Ganondorf.

So I'll work out everything besides his backstory which can be done later. Sounds good to me~ Think Zelda and Links Triforce would also be sealed?

Who knows! Other than me of course....

For your backstory, I would just highlight what he's been doing since getting the Triforce sealed away.

Hm...

Either I start using Haruko here, or a character I've been looking at for a while.

In the meantime, though, two questions:

• What's the cap on characters a player may have? Nevermind, this was already asked and answered--just didn't see it in OP.

• And if we are to post once per 3 days in main story threads, does this mean we must do so even in the absence of GM posts (assuming each are made more than 3 days apart)? I.E. sustained posting to fellow players in the meantime.
I have taken the Oath of the Drake for Group RPs.

Kristen Geary

Current Occupation: Investigative Journalist

Home World Information: "The Secret World" is very much like the 'real world', only in Geary's world, all conspiracies and myths are true. Yes, all of them. Yes, even the one about Elvis being alive. The Dynasty has difficulties keeping the larger paranormal threats, such as the Filth, under control, thus the big three groups (The Illuminati, the Templars, and the Dragon) are allowed a slight leeway in how they do things. The Illuminati strain under the grasp of the Dynasty-in their eyes, the Dynasty took their job-and thus, Illuminati agents regularly piss off the Dynasty. Usually they don't get caught. Usually.

Appearance/Style Description: What you see in the image is what she wears.

Sexuality: Geary is a hard partyin' kind of girl. She'll do anyone and anything so long as no pain is involved. Usually she needs a few drinks or some hard drugs before she gets into the sex, though. Has a fondness for bondage-both sides of the coin.

Personality: There are plenty who say that life and death are both bitches. Geary's got 'em both beat-or at least, so say the Illuminati. Usually she handles the new hires of the Illuminati, and quickly instills in them her drive for results and need to achieve. But once the goals have been achieved and there's time to relax, she relaxes HARD-sex, drugs, rock and roll, the works. One could call her a hedonistic bitch, but only her friends get to call her a bitch.

History: I was an ordinary Valley Girl, major in human resources, daddy in real estate who paved our driveways with his gold card and shitty cologne. Rest in peace. Until one night in the Hills, a couple of guys who were up to no good fucked with the wrong girl. Fratboy necromancers. Ugh. The worst, especially when they man up from sacrificing neighborhood pets to abducting undergrads. But they didn't check me for mace, or duct tape, and the next thing you know it's all, "You can't do that to us bitch, we're Illuminati." Now, I got to thinking: A, if you're a member from a secret society, you should keep that to yourself. Even under torture, I mean seriously, cry me a river. And B, only my friends call me bitch. Well anyway, to cut a long and aggravated assault short, I realised Illuminati clearly needed to work on their employee handbook. I had just graduated, just killed a few guys, I was looking for work placement. It was totally serendipitous.

Well, that's what she tells people, anyway. And to be fair, it is true. It's how she joined the Illuminati and became one of their star employees. She has power and influence among several members of the Illuminati, some who are only in power because they did good work while she was in charge of them. In a way, she is a shining example of the Illuminati's philosophy-she is, has been, and always will be a power behind the throne. However, she has now been forced into acting on her own initiative. She still has her skills in the ways of diplomacy and influence, she just isn't in the right position to use them.

Current Situation: Currently a prisoner due to pissing off the Dynasty. Again.

Weapon: Anima Rifle: Appears as a standard, military issue assault rifle. However, due to Support Team (see below), the damage it does translates into health for either Kristen or someone she wants to help out.

.44 Anima Magnums: A pair of .44 Magnums, but with Bullet Hell's power, they have a chance to do much larger amounts of damage then their size would suggest (i.e. CRITICAL HITS!)

Special Powers: Support Team: Any attacks made with an assault rifle heal either Kristen or a declared "Defensive Target". These attacks usually heal for a fraction of the damage inflicted (i.e. it's a leech effect). Assault rifles in her possession also have infinite ammo (because she's shooting magic, not bullets)

Bullet Hell: Any attacks made with pistols have a chance to inflict greater amounts of damage then normal. Similar to Support Team, any pistols she uses have infinite ammo (again, shooting magic).

Strengths: Diplomacy: Kristen can talk her way out of a lot. While her words are usually backed by the power of the Illuminati, they aren't right now. Still, her background in Human Resources means she knows how to negotiate from both a position of strength and weakness, and still come out on top.

Restraining: Long hours of BDSM have resulted in Kristen knowing how to completely immobilize someone with just a piece of string. Usually she has more toys then that, though.

Resilience: Illuminati training includes 'keeping cool under torture'-though, it didn't before Kristen got involved. Anyone who CAN break her probably deserved too.

Torture: How do you think she got all those answers out of those fratboy necromancers? Illuminati training only enhanced this.

Weaknesses: Cut off from Support: Without the Illuminati's backup, KG just has some magic guns and a handful of skills. Her current situation is teaching her how much she relied on it. Regaining Illuminati support won't be a matter of just busting out-she has to prove that she's not washed up, that she's still a viable agent. This will be difficult.

Slow Regen: While she can heal like other protags, her healing is WAY slower then anyone else's. Her healing can be sped up by using Support Team, but without someone to shoot, her natural healing time is triple that of a regular protag.

No Defense: She has no natural defense, hell, she's not even trained in using armor. Even a thick layer of cloth does next to nothing for her. The only way she can get any form of defense against attacks is to equip magical talismans that come from her world (other magical armors, like a Ring of Protection from D&D, might work at GM discretion). Otherwise, she's about as resilient as a nameless mook in an Action movie.

Gear-Dependent: She can use other forms of attack, like swords and some magical focuses, and she can use bare fists, but without pistols or an AR, she's completely useless in a fight. No, she can't even use a Shotgun for either of her special powers-that's its own skill tree.

Hey Scrib!

Each GM post will come at least once every three days, so theoretically it should not be a problem. More than likely I will just post once everyone has done theirs, so it could be faster depending. On particularly busy weeks for me, you can go ahead and post again while waiting for me.

I'm the opposite scenario, if one player has not posted in 3 days, I will be GM posting instead of waiting for them. They can catch up when they have a chance to post.

Does that answer your question?

Mariel Corbeck

Current Occupation: Mariel works at a convent, raising orphaned children and tidying a christian church-- a constant reminder of her old order, where she may pray to the God Emperor and his strange incarnation Jesus Christ.

Home World Information: The world of Warhammer 40k is infamous for its horrible nature. The actual creator of the descriptor "grimdark", the world of Warhammer 40k is bleak, wartorn and hopeless. No one is truly good, and there is no such thing as peace, with constant wars raging across the universe on an unimaginable scale. Xenos and horrifically mutated creatures of purest madness strive to crush everything in sight, and humanity is no better, purging, burning and slaughtering billions of their own people in pointless, backwards religious events. There is no universe that has a fate worse than that of Warhammer 40k. (From Warhammer 40k Soulstorm and other Warhammer 40k IP)

Appearance/Style Description: Coming from the distant future, Mariel is accustomed to a large variety of clothes (with differing tech levels,) which includes modern clothing. Not terribly familiar with civilian clothing, she tends to stray towards things she could peel off in a hurry, or wear under her power armour. As such, she tends towards athletic pants or athletic shorts and a simple top, with functional, heavy boots and a jacket. When coerced or highly encouraged (or if there is something at stake,) she will don some of her extremely sparse formal clothing.

Sexuality: Though the Adepta Sororitas are religious, they aren't against sex or relationships in general. Inside the order, Mariel had no time to indulge in sex, as she was raised from a very young age to do nothing but wage war, and crush the emperor's foes. With more free time than she has ever had, Mariel is still inexperienced, and relatively new to the idea, but not opposed, necessarily.

Personality: Being a sister of battle, Mariel has taken on the characteristics required for her position as Canoness. Relentless, merciless and utterly fanatical, Mariel has an iron will, and fears no pain (as was trained at a very early age,) save the sting of defeat. She still suffers from immense culture shock, having moved away from the horrors of her own universe and into what is seemingly a placid and peaceful zone. Always eager to fight the next battle, and bring her world closer to liberation, Mariel has a near supernatural hatred of her enemies. Though she tries to maintain a formal appearance before others off-duty, she is always curious about the strange tendencies of those not from her world. Incredibly pious, an insult to the Emperor is to be recanted immediately, or she takes a very personal offense to it. Deadly personal.

History: The Adepta Sororitas, and specifically the orders militant, are the legacy of a time where the church was too powerful for its own good. When the church was cleansed of corrupt leadership, a law was put in place to limit the military power of the ecclesiarchy (the warhammer church to the god emperor,) and prevent another military uprising. As such, no "men under arms" could be held by the church. Thus, the all female Adepta Sororitas was born (previously having been a military unit known as the Emperor's Daughters,) and made official.

Funded by the immensely wealthy Ecclesiarchy, the Adepta Sororitas are the best trained, equipped and supplied human forces that exist, their prowess rivaling that of the Space Marines in battle. Believing in honing the mind, body and spirit, the Sisters of Battle (of the Orders Militant,) go into battle shouting litanies and verse, and will only stop when their enemies fall, or they are dead to the last. This is the environment that Mariel was raised in.

Recruited from a hive world and tested for aptitude, Mariel was willing from the get-go, and showed much promise in her training. Even through the brutal regimen, she continued forward, and was accepted as one of thousands of recruits, and given her induction into the Orders Militant known as the Order of the Martyred lady. From then on, her life was nothing but rigorous training, drills and prayer, honing her body, mind and spirit into a weapon to destroy the enemies of her Emperor.

Still young, her first mission was on a death world being attacked by Orks. Simply a battle sister at the time, Mariel was dropped in with her squad, and fought a bitter, grinding war with the much more numerous Orks for days on end, until the last of the greenskins were burning, and most of her squad had been hacked or blown to pieces. Ragged and exhausted, Mariel had fought on the front lines until the very end, relentlessly blasting, carving and screaming her way into the fray. Her survival and success marked her as a truly devout sister, and her precipitous rise was easily foreseen.

In the years to come, Mariel fought in dozens upon dozens of battles, fighting Tyranids, Orks, Chaos and all the heretics and xenos that she could possibly imagine. Sometimes the operations were resounding successes, where her entire squad would survive, and other times, it would be just her, striking down the few remaining xenos, or holding the objective. Through the meatgrinder Mariel went, again and again, until the Darwinism of war had her a Canoness, leading a thousand of her sisters into battle. Everything changed when the video game worlds were brought under attack.

It was a bizarre change for the sister, abandoning her order (not by choice,) to fight a war against incarnations of chaos that she couldn't recognize. Nevertheless, Mariel did as she had to, advancing her own agenda and the liberation of her universe at any costs. When the war ended for everyone else, the hardened Battle Sister kept on fighting. Disregarding the agenda of the Dynasty entirely, Mariel continued her search, interrogating, beating or killing whomever stood in her way, even if that meant not telling her the information she needed. Needless to say, her wanton methods were deemed criminal almost immediately.

Current Situation: Captured by the Dynasty for her heinous crimes against the state.

Equipment (the primary feature of Mariel):

Godwyn Pattern Bolter: an advanced and sophisticated bolter (or bolt-gun,) the Godwyn pattern shoots at near double the rate of fire of the traditional Astartes pattern bolter. Needless to say, this eats up more ammunition, but the firepower is considerably higher. Boltguns fire massive shells filled with explosives, and dwarf most regular guns, wielded traditionally in power-armour, or by those strong enough to wield it. This is Mariel's primary weapon, and is slung at her waist whenever she leaves.

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Chainsword and Seraphim Hand-flamer:

Mariel's weapons of choice in hand-to-hand combat, these two weapons are paired. In her main hand, Mariel carries a chain-sword, a massive blade of razor-sharp teeth that rips and carves through its victims, the chainsword is the 40k's interpretation of a battle chain-saw. The Seraphim Hand-flamer is a unique weapon, much larger than an ordinary pistol (and ordinarily not wield-able by an untrained human,) it ignites a chemical concoction called promethium to melt and ignite Mariel's foes in a small swathe. In a pinch, it can burn other non-chemical concoctions, but it isn't advised.

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Power Armour:
Trained from a young age to wear this, it is the defining mark of the Adepta Sororitas against other human soldiers. Massively increasing the durability of the wearer, as well as their strength, letting them wield inhuman weapons and perform massive feats of strength.

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Jump Pack: A utility attachment to power armour, the Jump pack is like a short use jetpack. Its thrusters fire extremely hard for a short period of time, and don't much slow down the speed of landing for the user, thus "jump" and not "jet." Thus, as a result, it lets Mariel smash into her opponents from above, and provides more mobility than she would otherwise has, but it is neither subtle, nor maneuverable, and without power armour, it would burn and break the legs of its user.

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Special Powers:
N/A: There is nothing physically or supernaturally special about the Adepta Sororitas. They are driven by fanatical devotion, equipment and training alone.

Strengths:

Iron Will: The Battle Sisters fear nothing, and Mariel has seen more than enough to shatter an ordinary person's mind. Twisting horrors, madness, xenos and brutal murder are her norm, and the wars of the Dynasty seem tame to the hardened killers of the 40k universe.

Fanatical: Devoted entirely to her cause, there is no length that Mariel will not go to, no foe she will not fight, and no injury short of death that could cease her forward progress. Spurred on by her holy devotion, Mariel has lost concern for herself, and as such will continue to fight at her most through exhaustion and pain-- sometimes to her own detriment.

Sisterhood: Though she isn't used to fighting alongside men, Mariel always finds words of comfort and devotion (at least in the way she sees it,) to try and spur on an ally, or rally fighting spirit. Whether it is brother or sister, Mariel will feel unerring devotion and camaraderie to her fellow fighters.

Loyalty: Mariel's training and personality leave her extremely prone to forming bonds and attachments. Once made, Mariel will never abandon or forsake her comrades, in battle or outside of it. To the darkest depths and in the worst moments, Mariel will stand by them, and stick her neck out for them. Trust is easily given for the devout woman.

Weaknesses:
Tin-can maneuverability: Though Mariel wears the same power armour as the space marines, she is merely human, and does not have the black-carapace gene seed. Thus, she cannot interface with her power armour in the same way. Where space marines are as nimble as if they were wearing a second skin, Mariel must accept the mobility restrictions imposed by her armour, which are numerous. Straight forward movement and running isn't an issue for her, but turning, ducking, crawling and other such movements are extremely limited, if not impossible. Along with this, the immense weight makes her feet slip when she has built up speed, and it's difficult to stop, unless the ground is very frictive.

Pig-headed tactics: Where Mariel is from, she performs no stealth missions-- those relegated to other orders. Smashing through the front lines are her only ideas of battle, and it shows. If the problem can't be solved by simply ramming her head against it until it breaks, Mariel is dead-weight, and often resistant to that form of planning, becoming actively hostile or unhelpful in situations where ordinarily she should be compromising. It takes much convincing to sway her, sometimes she must be prodded and coddled in the right direction with careful words, lest she become angry or hostile.

Arrogant: In social situations where Mariel is unaccustomed to social norms (read: almost all of them,) she can come off as stiff, awkward or openly insulting. Believing in the righteousness of her own cause, and placing her faith in the Emperor, she can be condescending or awkward when in complicated situations or really any situation where her chainsword doesn't cut the problem away.

Power Armour Dependency: Though she is never seen without it when prepared (save breaking or damages,) Mariel relies very heavily upon her power armour to fight. When in battle, she trusts it to receive blows, uses its enhanced strength to batter defenses and in some situations, wield her weapons. When it's gone, her fighting style is liable to get her stabbed, cloven, beaten or ruined in short order, as without the bulky and immensely protective armour, she appears reckless and stupid.

Hyena's sheet I believe is still in progress, but so far it looks awesome. Mac, I might add a power to your guy that basically says he can "summon" Alpha One. Just because there will probably be a lot of situations where you are not in your fighter, and a fight breaks out. Then it comes flying in from off screen and you jump in.

Okay, this is a very serious question that will affect "WHY" Jack is getting executed. You don't have to tell me who the Empress is, but...

Is the Empress smoking hot?

Yes. I plan to reveal who she is before the game gets started. But I haven't quite settled on who she is yet.

I'm fairly certain I know who I'm going to pick though.

Okay, I was going to have Jack caught while trying to catch a look at the Empress naked.

I think it would be quite humorous.

Course, I could be wrong.

BruceTheCat

I am not opposed to the idea, but you'd probably have to make a large revision or addition to your character sheet to explain how you could get that close to the Empress.

She is basically like the President of thousands of galaxies (Home Worlds). So you can imagine how much protection she has around her at all times. Some people think she's a paragon leader, others a god, many a tyrant.

Let me know what you guys think about my sheet!

Commander Shepard

Current Occupation: After defeating the Reapers in his Home World, Commander Shepard became a fleet Admiral for the Dynasty. He has since been dishonorably discharged from the military, and is set to be executed.

Home World Information: Shepard comes from a futuristic, Sci-Fi Home World. His universe was once plagued by a immensely powerful AI race known as the Reapers. Enormous battleship sized beings who floated out in dark space, waiting for humanity and the many alien races of the galaxy to grown “too advanced” before returning with the intent of purging the entire galaxy. So that the cycle could start again.

The different races banded together in defense of their homes. Shepard, a Spectre (elite agent) of the Citadel Council was given command of the Normandy. Over time, he formulated a crew each of whom held unique abilities and attributes that helped them battle threats to the galaxy. Eventually, Shepard and his crew succeeded in destroying the Reapers. Bringing peace once again to his Home World

Appearance/Style Description: *You can make your appearance more modern, or completely different from the game character. Also, feel free to add something changing how they look to make them more physically attractive.

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: [The most important part. Try to make it interesting and believable.]

History: After defeating the Reapers, Shepard was promoted to an Admiral position within the Dynasty military. Retiring from the Alliance military of his Home World, Shepard set off to expand his efforts of “defending the galaxy” to all Home Worlds, rather than just his own. Initially this decision made perfect sense to Commander Shepard. The stories told about the Dominion smoke of this mysterious entity in with a very similar terror associated with the Reapers. Their methods seemed similar as well. Shepard had seen first hand during his trials in his Home World what happened if all peoples did not put their personal agendas to the side in favor of a single, unified goal. Given a fleet, and a new crew, Shepard went about enforcing the will of the Empress all across the various galaxies.

Nearly two-centuries later, Shepard finally started to realize that “working for the Dynasty” was not at all the same thing as “defending the galaxy”. Without a imminent threat, his operations seemed to focus almost exclusively repressing some anti-Empress organization which had grown too powerful in the eyes of the Dynasty. For much longer than Shepard would care to admit, he played the good soldier and (with a great deal of effectiveness) eliminated upstart resistance movements. Hundreds of bloody battles later, Shepard had sacrificed a great deal in the service of the Dynasty. Roughly 30% of his body and internal organs had been replaced by cybernetic enhancements. He had become jaded and cold, retreating in to his own head as a means to cope with the fact that he was no longer doing the work of a Hero. But ultimately unable to renounce the organization he'd fought so long to protect and serve. As a high profile Champion in their service, many of the new recruits looked to him as a role model.

Eventually the Dynasty made the choice for him. Whether suspecting his potential for treachery, or because Shepard had become too influential outside of his given ranks responsibilities, Commander Shepard was arrested aboard his flagship The Trident. He tried to fight his way free, but was inevitably captured while attempting to board an escape vessel.

Current Situation:

Weapon: Shepard has the arsenal of assault rifles, pistols, sniper rifles and shotguns you are able to acquire during the Mass Effect games. These are his normal “go to” weapons when he is not in a life threatening battle. See Special Powers for his more powerful weapons.

Special Powers: You may feel free to invent a appropriate amount of custom powers for your character, that fit with their theme and game. I would not pick more than 3.

<a href="http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/scale_small/7/74963/1415665-deus_ex_human_revolution_concept_art_11.jpg">Cybernetic Arms</a> - Shepards arms have been replaced with the best cybernetic replacements that the Dynasty could buy. Shepard has a replacement arsenal that can extend out of from his arms. See details below:

Retractable Vibroblade from the Star Wars Universe
Grenade Launcher
Avenger Assault Rifle

Strengths:

Military Training – Shepard has been a member of the military his entire, extensive life. He is a proficient combatant in all forms of warfare.

Knowledge of the Dynasty – The majority of Shepards career was spent in the service of the Dynasty. He has gained a vast knowledge on their inner workings, methods, and organizations.

Cybernetic Enhancements – Shepards technological enhancements have removed a great deal of the normal human limitations in regards to strength, stamina, perception and dexterity.

Weaknesses:

Robotic Body Parts – A large part of Shepard is now made of machine parts. Most importantly both of his arms and eyes, which are obviously necessary in a fight. If these are disabled via the use of EMP or other alternative means, he is essentially crippled.

Wanted Man – Shepard is in the unique situation where he does not have a place he can feel safe. In the eyes of most people the atrocities he committed while in service to the Dynasty make him a monster. Similarly, the Dynasty wants him dead. So, the man is both recognizable both in looks and title, and most powerful players want to kill him.

Stubborn Confidence – Shepard is very much a “means to an end” type of leader. He is stubborn to a fault, and usually believes that his insight and wisdom are paramount above others.

Neglected to respond to this, but yes, you've covered my question and I understand. :)

Now for generally everyone else: has anyone picked up/is working on a sheet for Samus Aran? Because I'm working on one now. Caim

Current Occupation: The Silent Mercenary

Home World Information: Drakengard takes place in a world named Midgard. It is protected from the Watchers by the four seals: the seal of the ocean, the seal of the desert, the seal of the forest and the seal of the goddess herself. Midgard is a world of magic, fae, demons, dragons, legends, chaos, war, and gods both good and evil.

Appearance/Style Description: The Prince of Caerleon has dark brown hair that once grew to his shoulders, but he has since shaved his head in a military cut. The sides and nape are trimmed and the hair on the crown of his head is longest at four inches. The sides of his head were shaved so that two horizontal stripes of hair fashionably streak them. His body is lean and hard with muscle. His olive skin, an open book to his hardship, being marked with scars from blades. The tattoo of his pact with his draconic partner, Angelus, is branded on his tongue. The dragoon is 6'1" (185 cm) and weighs 165 lbs (75 kg). He typically wears black tactical armor with reinforced plating at his chest and abdomen with no sleeves, granting his arms enough room to constrict and bend during performance. Tactical gloves with grips and fortified knuckles don his hands and an assortment of guards don his arms and legs. Dark-blue denim jeans extend down his long legs into steel-toe black combat boots. Strapped to his right thigh is a Bowie knife for practical use rather than just killing.

Sexuality: Heteroflexible

Personality:

The former prince of Caerleon is a quiet and fierce warrior. His memory has been fragmented since his resurrection and so he doesn't remember much about his past--only bits and pieces. He often dreams when he sleeps and these memories will manifest as pleasant dreams or nightmares. The man he was before cannot be entirely remembered but his dark characteristics can be witnessed in combat. In combat, Caim is ruthless often slaying his enemies without a second thought of mercy. He loves to cleave and maim. It was an addiction he had formerly that often went to his head and disturbed those who had once cared about him to the point that they no longer trusted him. He is sadistic in combat often smiling as he takes down one enemy after another.

Outside battle, Caim is a listener and not only because he doesn't have much of a choice not to be. He listens and learns, and what he learns he will at times use. Although he is close to Angelus, the warrior tends to develop a protective personality with those who remind him of his sister Furiae or with those who are weak and vulnerable.

In a team environment, Caim is hardworking and reliable despite his reckless behavior. Upon receiving the mission, he will allow the leaders to draw out the game plan and once one is set, he will roll with it. He isn't afraid to take the risky and expendable jobs. In combat, he needs a lot of room especially when Angelus gets involved. The two can rain down some destruction, and he won't think about who could possibly get caught up in his fight. He thinks only about the mission.

Caim's personality has since become chaotic neutral. He is only as good or as evil as others perceive. The dragoon, due to his pact with Angelus, is incapable of speaking. He sacrificed his voice to make a pact with a divine beast and communicates nonverbally through sign language and gestures.

History:

Speak not the Watchers,
Draw not the Watchers,
Write not the Watchers,
Sculpt not the Watchers,
Sing not the Watchers,
Call not the Watchers' name.
— The commandments of the Cult.

Caim's existence is a mystery to him. He remembers fire, and his partner Angelus and nothing more. The Cult of the Watchers (The Cult of the Angels) collected the ashes of Caim and Angelus, and using dark magic, the two were resurrected and their minds enslaved by the Red Eye disease. The cult did not wish to be under the rule of the Empress and her emissary that occupied Caerleon Castle. Resurrecting the legendary prince and the former dragon goddess, the cult commanded them both to storm Caerleon Castle alongside the Empire and kill the emissary.

Caim rode into battle upon the back of his pack partner and took on The Dynasty and Union armies. They were both a force to be reckoned with, seasoned by past wars and conflict, it had not been the first time the two had bathed in the blood of their enemies. The battlefield burned and as The Dynasty tightened their defenses, Caim was forced to infiltrate the castle alone. The Union soldiers were stunned to see that the former prince was alive and were cut down. Caim managed to reach the throne room where a group of sorcerers waited in ambush. He never came within a foot of the emissary.

Current Situation: The dragoon was captured and awakes in restraints oblivious to the situation and his crimes. It is believed that the sorcerers' magic not only stopped him but may have freed him of the control. Little do they know...he has a dragon who is still free and out there.

Weapon:
[Floatleft][/Floatleft]
Caim's Sword (Lv 1) - Comet Dance - The sword is depicted as having a rather long and wide blade, which under normal circumstances, a soldier could not wield. Caim, however, is able to fight with it rather well. Comet Dance is the sword's special ability where Caim fires a series of fireballs at the enemy.
Sword Techniques
Cyclone Dance - Level One - a standard five-hit attack combination in which long sword's start.
Weapon History
Level One - A gift to Caim from his beloved father. Since he was a young child, Caim had idolized his gentle father and longed to fight strongly and bravely in battle beside him.

Special Powers:

War Wheel: Any weapon that Caim acquires is added to a mysterious weapon rack in the shape of an old wooden wheel. The wheel manifests in battle and revolves as Caim's will selects his desired weapon.

Pact: Beasts tend to enter pacts to feed off of humans' negative emotions, while humans enter pacts either to gain power or to save their own lives, with a very few notable exceptions. The ritual involves the two beings exchanging "hearts," hence merging their two souls together. This means should one pact partner die, the other will follow. The sacrificed aspect or virtue that the human has given up (ie, sight or charm), is most commonly that person's most treasured feature, resulting in numerous tragic ironies: the more powerful the pact beast, the greater the price. The most common name for the sacrificed aspect is a "Pact Price." A pact can also be broken.

Caim's pact is with the red dragon Angelus, who is the most powerful dragon in Midgard. In exchange for their partnership, he sacrificed his voice though is able to communicate with Angelus through a link similar to telepathy. His pact has made him stronger and faster to inhuman proportions, and the two rarely have to communicate when it comes to teamwork. They both are aware of each other's attack strategy due to their bond and make the perfect team.

Magical Affinity: There are many powerful and legendary weapons in Midgard and Caim is capable of wielding every single one with ease no matter the size, weight, or length. Weapons carry a potential that Caim can access and the weapons can evolve making the wielder just as powerful. Every weapon carries a unique power and Caim is capable of unlocking and evolving through experience the potential of each weapon. Overtime, his weapon will evolve becoming increasingly stronger (max lv 4 for every weapon).

Angelus Lv 1[Floatright]https://youtu.be/JS2vp0n17BE[/Floatright]

First Evolution

The dragon is arrogant and aloof as befits a creature which is acknowledged by all as the lord of the natural world, and is charged by the gods to destroy all those too weak to deserve life. She is forced to set aside her disdain for inferior creatures when Caim offers her a pact which will save both their lives.

Note: Angelus is referred to as "she" (also in the game and by canon) for the dragon's voice is similar to a woman's in sound. The dragon, however, is sexless.

Powers

Firebreath - self-explanatory. She can generate fire in a continuous stream or in concussive spheres of fiery destruction.

Fire Storm - with a powerful roar, Angelus unleashes a continuous stream of fire to douse the enemy whilst fireballs rain from the sky like meteors to pummel in an AOE.

Homing Scatter Shot - the attack requires a complete one turn charge (execution on second turn). Angelus will charge her fire power into a condensed sphere that when it reaches maximum power will explode, releasing laser beams that scatter and converge on her intended target.

Typhoon - the dragon can create powerful gusts with her wings to toss enemies or when she flies by at sonic speeds.

Rapid Aerial Maneuverability - the dragon can rapidly change directions or whip around to chase her pursuers. She is agile enough to make tight turns, pull out of a dive, and barrel roll to avoid the homing attacks of other foes.

Strengths:

War Experience: Caim is merciless and sadistic on the battlefield, and enjoys too much the maiming of his foes. He has battled other humans, demons, elves, religious extremists, gods, dragons, and monsters. Even when odds were against him and the world, he persevered to his very end no matter how dark, spontaneous, and chaotic it may be. Midgard is a realm that can go from pseudo-order to absolute mind-blowing chaos. It is the challenge of champions.

Master of Arms: He is an expert with various weapons, being capable of unlocking the potential of each.

Countless Death Experiences: His past deaths are recalled as nightmares. He dreams of dying in several different scenarios than the one that had left a burning impression on him since he awakened. Even though they seem like nightmares, Caim has become unafraid to die. This boosts his self-confidence in battle as he tends to focus only on the mission and not the fear of death.

Best Friend = Dragon Goddess: How many people do you know have a dragon goddess friend?

Sign Language Proficiency: He is fluent in sign language.

Weaknesses:

Mute: He couldn't call for help to save his life. Then again, the help he would request would be from a colossal dragon. He isn't the type of guy to put in charge of radio communication or to even ask for his cell phone number. Maybe if you want to text him.

Fragmented Memory: Since being resurrected by the Cult of the Watchers, Caim hasn't regained his full memory. His memory loss is believed to be due to him having died before or a barrier may have been intentionally placed in his mind by the cult to protect them from Caim ever regaining his memory and seeking revenge.

Human Weaknesses: Caim is susceptble to mortal injury--physical and mental--except for some exceptions such as: toxins, poisons, drugs, viruses, parasites and disease. Unless of course, the ailment is magical in nature such as the Red Eye disease in Drakengard. He is susceptible to what the average human being is: temperature fluctuations, pressure changes, etc. If you're susceptible to it, Caim is and thus must always be prepared, wearing proper clothing and equipment.

Angelus: He cares a lot about his dragon that he would throw the entire world under the bus to ensure that she lives or suffers no more. They are very close and inseparable.

Old World Mindset: Caim comes from a high fantasy world with the only modern technologies he had seen were equivalent to the 19th century world with steam technology. The advanced science and technology of other game universes will make him feel confused and amazed, but he is willing to learn the necessary science to fight effectively. His mercenary job is his first exposure.

Cool sheet BlackThorne! I've actually played Drakengard so I am familiar with the character.

A few notes:

- I would probably switch your Strength - Countless Death Experience to a Weakness, though ultimately it is your call. He may be totally unafraid of dying, but that doesn't mean he can't die. So this says to me that he throws himself in to battle with zero regard for his personal safety. Which I see as a Weakness. But your call!

- I would add one more combat oriented Weakness, other than the one I just mentioned. I frankly don't really see "Human Weakness" as a weakness, because you are just saying that he can take damage from physical or mental attacks. Which would be an a weakness in everyone, since nobody is immune to those sorts of things. How about that an injury that is dealt to one partner is also represented on the other? If Angelus is speared through the stomach, a stab wound appears on Caim as well? That would be pretty awesome! Twice the damage, but twice the chance of getting hurt.

- Just to make sure I understand your backstory correctly, Caim attempted to kill the Empress of Midgard correct? Midgard is an organization which would be allied closely with the Dynasty. Caim was not trying to assassinate the Empress of the Dynasty. Did I read that correctly?

- Where do you imagine Angelus will come in to the game?

- Caim seems to me like a lone-wolf type of Hero, which is fine. Do you feel confident he will mesh with a party of other players?

@Vercile, what are some of your favorite games or video game characters? We may be able to help you choose which one will work best!

@Hyena, great sheet man! A few notes:

- I would add one more combat Weakness. He's got a lot of firepower, and a lot of weapons, but I don't really see a way you could approach a fight and defeat him other than just "outfight him". You could get super dramatic with it. For instance, since he's basically made of energy, what if causing major damage to the suit risks the chance of his energy body basically exploding. Like the living embodiment of a nuclear explosion being contained inside of this suit. That would at least make it to where he needs to pull back fighting wise when things get really, really bad for fear that he's going to "rupture".

- For combat purposes, damage wise I am planning to treat him like a normal human. If he gets shot through the chest, it does as much damage to your "energy body" as if any other player got shot through the chest. Logically it doesn't make a lot of sense, but it is the simplest way to keep all things even in a combat. Is that OK with you? If not, how do you imagine he would get injured or killed?
“Also I've seen that movie, if they're any similar to it, then those guns do not fuck around, please take cover“

Laughing Hyena

Well Red to be honest - that first one is not gonna happen. He's not Captain Atom and he wouldn't explode from fatal suit destruction. Much less to that fatal degree. He'd just die.

Not sure but you might have missed the note that the weapons are basically "Beginner" level. Basically he starts off exceptionally weak in terms of a ton of things. Also as for having a lot of firepower, thats not true. His weapons are unmodified, his equipment and war frame is unmodified and he has to collect everything like I said.

As for getting injured or killed, you're looking at it wrong. In game wise, the Warframe are constantly being hurt and hampered and do fall prone and suffer bleed out if health reaches zero. How fast that happens depended in the video game on the shields, armor and health and the type. Basically it was the old critical existence failure thing of "you die at zero health" motif. In short - no shortcuts. They beat him legit or they don't.

BruceTheCat

Alright, so for all intents and purposes the Warframe is his "body", and as the Warframe is hurt and damaged so is the energy inside of it. So I would not treat the Warframe so much as power armor protecting a body, but more as the body itself.

I took a second look at your character sheet and realized that I misread the format. Under Teeno Armaments, you are explaining what those are, but you are not saying that you have them already. You are just outlining what he could potentially get in the future.

Upon further reflection I think your limited equipment suits what I am looking for. The inability to take more than 1 Warframe, 3 Weapons, and 1 Sentinel/Kubrow in to battle.
“Also I've seen that movie, if they're any similar to it, then those guns do not fuck around, please take cover“
- scribus1000

Laughing Hyena

Yes, thats exactly it. The warframe is essentially his body. He does not have anything beyond what I have under the "acquired" spoilers. In short he has 1 war frame (volt [freaking n00b!]), 1 primary (newbie auto rifle), 1 secondary (newbie pistol) and 1 melee (newbie sword). Like any free to play game, you start at the bottom.

BruceTheCat

Approved Hyena! Thanks for helping me clear that stuff up.

Blue Nova

Cookie,
"Captain Cookie"

Current Occupation: Sushi Restaurant Chef...

Home World Information: World of Warcraft

Appearance/Style Description: "Cookie is Cookie" Which is what he would say if he spoke english. Yes, the ability to take on a human form was bestowed upon him just like everyone else. However, he has not learned how, and does not wish to learn how to become something he is not. This Murloc has a lot of pride in his fishiness and does not need to look like everyone else to to try and blend in. Mostly because it might be even more creepy to see a full grown man licking random objects around the world.
He does seem to wear a hat wherever he goes, because he does not like being naked.

Sexuality: Cookie... once found a dirty magazine. He ate it.

Personality: Dashing, charming, and regally posh. Are things cookie cant even dream about, lacking the basic understanding and even concept of manners. Cookie still wants to know, "what is, love?" and everything else these giant humans keep yapping their tiny mouths about. Cookie does however know about loyalty. But he holds true to the wise words of his greatest ancestors.

Wise words of his greatest ancestors

History: From the Warcraft world, Cookie is what is known as a Murloc. Known to a few scholars as intelligent amphibian humanoids, everyone else knows these things to be strange, mentally challenged, fish monsters. As a Murloc, he was treated like an animal and hunted by countless adventurers. Growing up was hard for a baby Murloc, as leaving his starting area surly meant death... a painful, repetitive, "A-for-effort" style death.
Cookie was taken in by the old leader of the Defias Brotherhood. Edwin VanCleef brought him aboard his flag ship and taught him what it meant to be honorable, and how foolish it was o throw loyalty to the selfish. With a pirate life style, the Murloc gained his name by becoming the cook of the crew. Though he fought countless low level adventurers, many had failed to realize his power grew with every victim he slew. Casting his mighty ladle down on the enemies time and time again, valiantly fighting off intruders. Though his win ratio was around 0.3%, he still managed to gain enough "experience" to become a respectable captain... well, a decent captain... a captain.
Cookie is named Cookie because he is the cook aboard the pirate ship where he lived. It has nothing to do with the baking treat, cookies. He also comes up with names for other people based on what they do. A legendary swordsman might be called "Stabby", and a martial artist might be called "Slappy".

Current Situation: A captain seeking a new ship and crew.  He will insist on being called Captain Cookie, regardless if someone actually is the captain of the ship he is on. Cookie seemed to not really pay attention to the world events... or current events... or anything for that matter. Much like a cousin named Dori, he wonders in search of people that he can call home. He was able to follow Sylvanas out of Azeroth, but has yet to approach her. She is just the only thing that reminds him of home, and actually feels more comfortable knowing she is around.

Weapon:

Ladle of Dooom~ - This mighty weapon of epic lore, has slayed countless millions! Or possibly a half dozen or so, if counting assists... This is Cookie's weapon of choice when actually going into combat. Which is why it barely resembles a ladle now.

Frostmourne! - Well, a piece of it anyways. During the chaos of the worlds colliding, this legendary artifact was destroyed. It's shattered pieces sent flying all across Azeroth, and the handle landing right into a pot of soup Cookie was making for the crew. He mostly just uses it stir cold beverages. However, if it was ever repaired somehow, it may one day be returned to it's former glory.

Special Powers:

Throw Food - You know how mothers always told you not to play with food. Well Cookie never had one, so he has perfected the art, of food throwing. When cookie throws a turnip at you, it can feel like you have been hit with a vegetable, or a grenade. Depending on how angry Cookie is when he throws it.

Cooking - Cookie's cooking seems to have supernatural regenerative powers. As well as other beneficial effects he has yet to discover. Though he doesn't seem to realize it heals people. He just thinks injuries are a form of hunger.

Regeneration - Cookie's body seems to mimic many amphibians and reptiles in the fact that he can regenerate from almost any non-fatal wound. Regrowing body parts most faster than others. This power allows him to take heavy hits without dying. Though he may be out of commission quickly, he will always be back for more.

Strengths:

Iron Chef - Obviously this Murloc is going to go on to do great things. Well, he is going to do something. One of those things will be cooking. The food he makes is surprisingly tasty. Despite his, dirty habits. And he is someone able to turn anything into a tasty meal.

Escape Artist - This creature has escaped death time and time again, but he is also great at disarming restraints. His slippery nature being more than just the texture of his skin. Cookie can disable locks and slip out from bindings. He can slip through tight spaces, and is almost impossible to grab onto for more than a second.

Mentally Absent - Cookie's brain is a fascinating specimen. Seeming to lack discernible thought patterns, the creature is extremely hard to read. Not just when playing poker, but also when attempting to read his mind, or discern emotions. If a secret needed to be kept, Cookie is the one to keep it.

Weaknesses:

Awkward - Cookie is, a challenge for his allies and himself. As it is hard to trust and befriend something that does not look or act human. To many other, he does things without cause, and seemingly at random. Like pushing a bowl of cereal off the counter while staring intently at someone who is trying to talk to him.

Physically weak - Cookie can fight with the best of them, but always is the first to go down in a fist fight. His fragile form is not meant to take many punches.

Prep Time - Cookie's healing and buff properties from his cooking can be amazing, or even devistating. But it takes a while to actual cook the dish, and he needs some semblance of ingredients. Even and old potted plant in a boiling pot of slime can be turned into a meal when cooked by the great Captain Cookie, but trapped in a desert with nothing but sand and non-organic matter. Cookie would be unable to help anyone, not even himself.

Failure - Cookie was seemingly breed for mishaps. Though he may help his friends to victory, and possibly make it out in the end. He seems destined to make horrible mistakes which lead to his road being much harder than it ever had to be. Without friends to guide him, Cookie's life will be a miserable one.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner
"The Banshee Queen"

Current Occupation: Mortician

Home World Information: Azeroth (World of Warcraft, Warcraft)

Appearance/Style Description:

Sylvanas is currently adapting to the new world. While she used to wear her armor that draped over her lithe frame, she has decided to take into the new culture of other worlds around her. Adapting to the different styles of the dynasties and even branching out into sci-fi clothing. While she does prefer to fight in her normal golden and purple clad bikini, and her thick hood cover her body from magical attacks, she can be scene wearing anything and everything outside in the normal world. The exception is that Sylvanas may be oddly dressed for certain events, because she doesn't understand the social norms.

But the basics are she has dark gray hair. Dark purple skin and streaming tear markings down her face. Her eyes usually glow red when she's fighting or she's mad, but then they turn a dark violet. Her lips are even dark purple, and her face is usually grinning like she has a devious plan, or scowling thinking of her enemies. While she is undead, she doesn't feel completely cold. She's warm to the touch and has other functions that are similar to the living and humans.

Sexuality: Rel's O&Os. Bisexual, with a dominant mannerism and preference to anything living.

Personality:

Super cereal - Sylvanas is very serious about who she is and what she believes in. She's very driven by her goals of revenge and freeing herself from her curse. This personality trait most often comes out when she's in battle. Finding that it's easier to take things seriously for the best possible outcome.

Leader of Minons - She's not a good leader with peers, but when it comes to minions, Sylvanas knows exactly what she's doing. Mindless people are little toys that she often feels like she can play with or do her bidding. If she thinks less of a person, she will treat them poorly and almost like a slave. Unable to adapt to the social norms of society yet.

Old Fashion - Her ways are something barbaric and old fashioned. She also doesn't quite understand the high-tech technology or too much of the slang people use. She's already dead, so she's basically like a hot grandmother that has lived too long.

Humbly Unaware - Sylvanas is almost comically unaware of how she doesn't fit in at times, or the wrong decisions she is making. She was so accustomed to living such a high life before, that working along side so many great protagonists has slightly humbled her, but still... she is slightly oblivious to jokes or how cheesy she may be currently acting.

Fire Hot - Not only is this dealing with how angry she can get, but Sylvanas also has a sexual deviant side. It doesn't come out during battle, but in her off-time she enjoys to partake in the one enjoyment the curse allowed. While she can't get pleasure from eating or sleeping, she can be appeased by sexual means.

History:

Ever since Arthas plagued her with the curse of being forever undead, she has served with a purpose to not only destroy him one day, but to also find a way to cure herself from being the Banshee Queen. Still, she knew she had to be the strong high elf that she was before, and the process was hard. When the Lich King lost the undead army, Sylvanas was given the chance to strike back and free herself to regain her free will and physical body. From there she began the leader of the Forsaken faction of the undead, and tried to fight for the right to join the Horde. When that finally happened, she sent her army across Northrend to begin her revenge for the Lich King, but in the process her undead army killed lots of horde and alliance. This has brought a lot of distrust to both of the factions and the way they treat the undead and Sylvanas herself, but it wouldn't matter for long.

Even through all the struggles, Sylvanas lead an army of undead banshees, zombies, and abominations to destroy whatever foes hurt her or her allies. She served not only as the leader, but also the Queen of Banshees. Creating a sexually desirable faction of undead women banshees of many races to not only tempt and seduce men into her armies, but to also help with the recreation of more undead. But it wasn't enough. Sylvanas continues to search for power, and eventually made a pact with the Val'kyr to increase the amount of undead in Azeroth. Although this lead to more issues. The woman is very headstrong, determined, and thinks very highly of herself, which can be troublesome if she doesn't respect her leaders. While she respected Thrall and his actions as Warchief, when Garrosh Hellscream took the throne -- she despised with her and went to scheme behind his back to not only dethrone him, but hopefully lead to his demise.

This may be why when the Legion began to attack Azeroth, few people were at the aid of Sylvanas and her army. Not only had she placed a lot of distrust from her plotting and her actions throughout her reign, but she discovered that most people didn't care to save the undead. This angered Sylvanas and eventually lead to her making mistakes to lose part of her army, but she still kept her pact with the Val'kyrs to have another army rise once again.

Current Situation: Sylvanas has been just recently integrated into the mixture of worlds. Her necromancy powers aren't fully working just yet, mostly because she is having issues with contacting the Val'kyrs. She can summon small amounts of undead, but no longer a horde. Currently, she is dealing with trying to fight for the right to continue fighting, and not being captured. But she's struggling. She has no army, she doesn't understand this new world, and she's fighting against an enemy that is far deadlier than the Lich King ever was to her. She's also struggling with the social norms of  the mash-up community. Finding that her ways in her land were not as far in advancement, and also far more magical than some people she's encountered.

But she fights, and will continue to fight until she gets exactly what she wants -- her freedom or revenge.

Weapon:

Trusted Bow and Arrows - Sylvanas has a bow and arrow that has been with her for longer than she can remember. It's enchanted with special powers that can plague and cause disease when the arrow hits.

Spiked Armored Fingers - Her armored hands have long claws that can cut and tear. It's one of her favorite weapons to get up close and personal with when it comes to deaths.

A Simple Hidden Dagger - Nothing special, not enchanted with anything, but she only uses this dagger on special circumstances.

Special Powers: You may feel free to invent a appropriate amount of custom powers for your character, that fit with their theme and game. I would not pick more than 3.

Summon Undead- She can summon one to three undead, depending on how much power she currently has. This undead can fight along side her and can either be as big as an abomination, a mindless zombie, or a banshee. Currently, Sylvanas has little control on what she's going to summon, because the magic in this mash-up world isn't what she's accustomed to. (I can use a dice roller to randomize this).

Plagued - She's excellent at spreading disease when fighting. Her bows and arrows can wound a target and plague then, but she can also get up close and personal with her hands. Touching an enemies skin and watch them decay of disease at an alarmingly rapid rate in front of her.

Banshee Scream - During very intense moments where her life may be on the line, as a last resort before she faints or is immobile from battle, Sylvanas can scream into the night to call a small horde of undead to fight for her. This also turn into giving slight health to her fallen teammates to fight for one little go, but it sacrifices her own use in battle in the process.

Strengths: This can be anything, related or not related to your character's fighting abilities. My recommendation would be to pick 2 things that make you a badass Protagonist, and 2 things that are not related to combat.

Fashion Furious - Sylvanas has been quite interested in the fashion of the new world, discovering that she has the opportunity to dress any way she wants to. This can often be a hindrance at times, because she doesn't understand which outfits are used for what. But still, she has a large collection of clothing that's only getting bigger at this date.

Tactical Leader - Sylvanas can't deny that she is a leader at heart. She knows how to plot and scheme to get the end result of war, and her head is often in the game of tactics and leadership.

Determined - The woman is very determined to achieve her goals and to seek her revenge. She will spend her last dying breath fighting for what she believes in and doesn't mind making sacrifices to achieve her goal.

Body Magics - Because of her curse, she has found that magic often helps her in her time of need. Not only does she use magic to give her body a more... desirable and warm touch, prevent her from decaying, and everything else that comes with being dead, but she also can use it to create pheromones for seduction.

Weaknesses:

Forsaken - She's not living and she's undead. Which means that she can't enjoy simple things like eating, drinking, sleeping. She also doesn't die like other people would, because she would be damned to the eternal hell of the disgusting mindless zombies. Never able to get her revenge and unable to command her army.

Impatient - She doesn't like waiting and she doesn't like it when people don't understand her urgency. This can lead her into rushing into battle unprepared, because her emotions are in the way.

Technology Impaired - All the people from high science worlds confuse her. She doesn't understand their technology in the slightest and will often get very frustrated trying to work with even simple things like plasma guns.

Desires for the living - She's often distracted by her want to be living again. She often finds herself struggling with being the thing that she hates the most, and will also use less judgement if someone promises they can bring her back to a proper life as a high elf again.

I'll switch it. I put countless death in both strength and weakness because it can be both depending on the situation. It makes him reckless, but it also makes him not hesitant to execute.

It's a weakness because while others have regenerative healing, can be shot five or six times and still live without any risk of almost dying, or even survive being hit by a semi-truck, a real human cannot, which is what Caim is. I am sure I don't have to go into detail how easy it is for us all to die. We can be killed by a sharp stick if it were to hit a vital area.

I'm against making the double injury a weakness because that never happened in the game. Also, with human weaknesses being the way I explained. It would be an overkill.

- Just to make sure I understand your backstory correctly, Caim attempted to kill the Empress of Midgard correct? Midgard is an organization which would be allied closely with the Dynasty. Caim was not trying to assassinate the Empress of the Dynasty. Did I read that correctly?

My back story says "emissary" not Empress.

- Where do you imagine Angelus will come in to the game?

That's up to you to decide. I know that she would be there to help him escape execution if that's possible.

- Caim seems to me like a lone-wolf type of Hero, which is fine. Do you feel confident he will mesh with a party of other players?

That depends solely on character development and interaction. I never know how my characters will do. They have a mind of their own. I just write for them. But even Wolverine was apart of the X-men despite his lone wolf attitude.

Also, the fact that he can't speak may make him seem antisocial, but he's actually dependent on others understanding him. Especially in a team situation. I actually see him as being rather social despite his handicap lol.

Current Occupation: Hairdresser

Home World Information: The world of Hyrule was one of the first worlds to be attacked by the Dominion, believing the world to be easy to take over with how the people within it were currently at war with each other. But they found the joint resistance of monsters and men from the now combined forces more difficult to cut down than they had suspected. The dominion had weapons the people of this world had never seen before. But they had magic, power, and monsters to take the damage for the people. They wouldn't go down easily.

During the war Ganondorf found himself gaining some respect from the foes he had originally been battling. Their strength becoming obvious on the field of battle.  The war waged for months, but slowly, the forces of Hyrule were being pushed back. But the gods must of been smiling at them as the Dynasty came and brought aid. Familiar faces appearing from a time where Ganondorf, Zelda, and Link were all forced to battle by a higher power that trapped them. Snake, Kirby, Fox, and so many more. With the aid of these new found allies they were able to take the enemies from their planet. And Hyrule soon became a stronghold for the Dynasty...And in the future...a place where many hidden Rebellion bases hid.

Appearance/Style Description: Ganondorf is a huge man of 7'6 in height. His body is full of well trained muscles that show the sheer amount of training the man had gone through in his life. With long hair of a red/ginger nature and dark skinned the man was quite striking. The piercing yellow eyes just made that worse. Gandondorf can usually be seen wearing light fitting clothes during his day to day activities, but during battle his armour is on and prepared for combat.

Sexuality: Hetro.

Personality: The personality of Ganondorf is more complex than one might think. First, he is cunning and deceptive, shown by how he was able to take over the royal castle of Hyrule through deception in his past lives and twisted Cia into aiding him in his resurrection. Revenge filled and hateful, shown towards the Hyrule people again and again with how they treated his own people and killed almost all of his kin in a act of genocide. And then tried to execute him as an act of 'good'....He has a desire to save his people, no matter the costs, and shows this within his reborn time of wind waker. His voice solemn on the actions he took.  Even showing he has morals when he refuses to kill children despite many chances he had to end Zelda's life. He is ruthless, a man that will make the hard choices and will not show mercy in war. He is sadistic, enjoying the pain his foes suffer and feeding on their dark emotions to gain more power. He is power hungry, always desiring to be stronger, better than he currently is. He is a tough man to understand, let alone get along with.

History: [Sealing of Triforce]

After the sealing of his triforce Ganondorf found himself being placed as a general to a large force of men and monsters. With him leading his men, beings from both fantasy and sci-fi, he brutally dealt with the forces that made themselves enemies of the Dynasty. The dominion were taken down and pushed back from worlds by the sheer ruthlessness of their general. He burned down forests to bring out hidden forces, destroyed the lands of the worlds he was on to ensure victory. Gave no mercy or quarter as they took care of the Dominion. His solders respected him for the hard choices he made to protect everyone, while the general populace of the Dynasty, mostly the hero's, found themselves in disagreement with his ways and gave him as much bad publicity as possible. His men did not care for them, and neither did he.

But the day came where the Dominion were no longer a threat to their lands...but the Dynasty did not fold. It stood strong and kept a firm grip on all its citizens. Rebellions started to form, wanting freedom away from the Dynasty as they had in the past. But the dynasty wouldn't have any of it. And Ganondorf team were sent to dispatch them. Gandondorf...found himself disagreeing with the orders he were given. Making a choice he had his team break up and go into hiding. Joining the rebellions if they wished.

As for himself, he hid himself in plain sight. In a location none would ever suspect a person of his nature to be. Ganodorf...the hairdresser. The teachings of his many sisters finally coming to use on others besides his own mane of hair. Owning his own Saloon and having it used as a meeting place for the rebellion members when they needed a place to lay low.

Current Situation: Closing shop while gaining news on the current situation of the rebellion and the plans they have for that day.

Darth Revan

Current Occupation: Prisoner. He has worked as a Soldier and as a Bar Worker before. Amazing how many drinks you can dole out with the power of the force at your beck and call.

Home World Information: The Old Republic is a galactic 'world' that spans countless worlds and civilizations. It is a place of constant war, between multiple different factions. Corruption and conflict are at a height that would make many other 'worlds' feel a degree of shame; yet in this region there are certain beacons of great power. Users of the force are perhaps the most famous people in this time period; Jedi and Sith who, with their strict codes of conduct, use there magnificent powers for good, evil, or simply their own agenda.

Appearance/Style Description: Revan is a broad, handsome man of around six foot, two inches in height. He rarely shows his face, wearing the mask of a Mandalorian after a certain defining moment in his life. Since joining the empire, he has started to show his face more often which is that of a handsome man with dark brown hair and a small, well maintained amount of facial hair. While he normally favours the combat outfit, he has started to wear more 'normal' clothing. He has a general aversion to bright colours, instead preferring mellower tones and simpler attires. He does prefer to keep his identity as the Force Wielder Revan a secret, and as such he often goes uses an alias to anyone except his closest allies.

Sexuality: Hetrosexual

Personality: Revan has always been an enigmatic figure: vastly intelligent and wildly charismatic, yet easily impassioned and malleable to what is 'good' or 'evil.' Opinions of Revan vary wildly from person to person, but what is always said is this: Revan is incredibly passionate and incredibly patient in equal and opposite measures. He can be driven to war by a single glimpse of self-sacrifice, and yet he can patiently guard a facility - at the cost of getting to live with his own family - just as easily. He is far too passionate for the Jedi order, and far too patient and rational for the Sith. And yet his natural charisma and skill make him loved and loathed by both factions equally. This strange charisma and passion have made him loved and loathed by the Empire as well, and even caught the eye of the Empress, for a time.

History: Once the worlds were joined, and after the Dynasty was crushed, Revan found himself lost in a paradoxical place. His lover, Bastila Shan, was dead; and had been for many hundreds of years. His only living relative hated him, and he had absolutely no place in the Old Republic; which thought him dead. While he could have made a glorious return, he found that having had his eyes opened to the Empire; he wanted to know more about it. He respected a force that sought unification and, although he was loathe to admit it, he admired the Empress to a degree.

As a result, Revan joined the Empire; starting as a rank and file member of its forces, and soon rising up the ranks as a result of his own personal merit. People started to take notice of the powerful force wielder; including some of the Empress' inner circle. For a time, he was considered as a potential candidate for the Empress' royal guard. He considered the idea and found it appealing; which had him moving to the inner-most capital of the Empress' Empire, Anor Londo.

It was there that he made his mistake. For a reason somewhat unknown to him, it seems that he had made an enemy out of a member of the Empress' inner circle, without actually having met him! As soon as he landed in Anor Londo, he was captured by the man -in secret- and absconded to a private corner of Anor Londo; a prison of some sorts. It was here that Revan found himself tortured for a crime he neither knew of, or willingly committed.

During the torture, Revan was almost completely broken. He retreated inwardly, and found that even his connection to the force was left faltering and devastated by the ordeal. After a time, Revan found an opportunity to break out of his imprisonment, where he went on to kill his torturer.

Sadly, the man was a member of the Empress' inner-circle. Revan was arrested and sentenced to be executed.

Current Situation: Held under arrest, Revan is being prepped for his execution. He has received a strange letter from a source that he refuses to reveal.

Weapon/Equipment: Lightsaber - A weapon from a more elegant age; Revan's lightsaber is crafted explicitly for him and is a dextrous, destructive weapon. The weapon consisted of a blade of pure plasma emitted from the hilt and suspended in a force containment field. Its destructive nature means that it can break most ordinary, mundane weapons quite easily; although it does have its share of weaknesses. For instance, while it can block bullets as easily as blaster rounds, it more often than not ignites anything explosive.

The Mask - Almost as legendary as Revan himself, the mask that Revan wears is synonymous with the legend of the Revan. It is a study thing with a distinct style and no real advantages over a more mundane mask. Some have argued that Revan is less a person and more an image; and it is this mask that reinforces that image. For one, if removed; very, very, few people would even recognise Revan for who he is.

Special Powers: Force Wielder - While Revan is not at his strongest, thanks to the meddlings of the Empire, Revan is still a fearsome wielder of the force. His powers are limited to Force Telekinesis right now, but he is still incredibly powerful with these limited skills. He can lift and hold weights hundreds of times his own weight, if only for a short time, and send a less grounded opponent flying. Thankfully for the Empire, Revan is cut off from his more powerful techniques right now, and using his force powers can exhaust him quickly.

Fearsome Duelist - Revan is a skilled lightsaber user, and is able to translate those skills into just about any melee weapon. He is able to read an opposing fighters movements with the force and attempt to react to them in kind, which means that he is nearly unbeaten in one-on-one combat...Or at least he was.

Subtlety and Subterfuge  - Revan's face behind the mask is known by precious few. Thanks to this, and thanks to an inordinate amount of practice, Revan is able to hide himself in plain sight quite easily.

Strengths: Born of the force, Bred by War - Revan was always known to be a strong force user, and was trained from an infantile age to master his craft. During the Mandalorian wars, he broke away from the Jedi code of partiality and led a movement called the Revanchists. These Revanchists followed the Warrior-Jedi into the mandalorian war and watched as he and his followers pulled apart a race bred for war. Needless to say, while Revan is still relearning his skills as a warrior, he is deadly with a Lightsaber, and a skilled practitioner of the force.

Natural Born Leader - Revan has led...more factions than most people can count on one hand. He is charismatic and seems to radiate an aura of leadership which either convinces people to listen, or at least demands some respect.

Mechanical Adept - Revan has lived in a Sci-Fi universe for all of his life, and even amongst his realm, he is a skilled mechanic. He has constructed Droids, spaceships, and weapons that dwarf most modern technologies ten times over.

Weaknesses: Duality - Revan has proven himself to have a certain amount of susceptibility to darker forces. Whether by his own choice, or by outside machinations, he has been converted to causes on numerous occasions that are not his own. This susceptibility was used once by the Empress, and there is a chance it could be used again.

Ineffective at Range, Awful with Explosives - Due to his fighting style, Revan is not the most effective person at range. His force telekinesis can only be used at a medium range, and his lightsaber is a close range weapon. He needs to approach opponents, which can prove difficult against the skilled. He also doesn't quite deal with explosives often enough to have mastered fighting against them. If someone were to lob a grenade at him; he is more than likely to just attempt to slice through it with his lightsaber...to explosive and painful results.

Passionate Fighter - Revan is a passionate man, and while he is normally patient, he has been known to go through a sort of melt-down at extremely emotional times. This extreme emotion can lead to him entering murderous, vengeful, and uncontrollable rages. This is most commonly seen when an ally dies; or when he witnesses something particularly barbaric, but Revan started an entire crusade against the Mandalorians once because of this extreme amount of passion, and he slaughtered them in the thousands.

Current Situation:

Sylvanas has just recently integrated into the mixture of worlds.

Special Powers:

Strengths:

Holy Magic - She is extra weak to this school of magic, and often finds own powers weakening with the light. She really doesn't like paladins.

So everyone knows, over the weekend I am going to put together a map of the Home Word universe. Similar to the Mass Effect - Mass Relay network, or the Stargate portals, in this game you will need to go through certain major Home Worlds to access other ones. This is why it would be impossible for the Dynasty to be "all controlling", because some Home Worlds are simply too far away to be successfully governed. The Dynasty seat of power Home World - Anor Londo will be near the center.

For example, let's say you are in the Street Fighter universe, and you want to travel to Hyrule in the Zelda universe. You may need to pass through the Warcraft universe to get there. Or possibly several different universes because your destination is on the far side of this Video Game Universe.

Like with any civilization, some Home a Worlds will be more powerful, more wealthy, and more densely populated based on their location.

I would love to get suggestions for the Home Words to make noteworthy on the map! Obviously I can't account for every video game, so I am going to try and separate the different Cardinal directions of the Video Game Universe based on the thematic of their game. For instance, all of the Eastern section of the universe may be the Science Fiction games, while the Western side are all of the Fantasy games!

Once again, let me know if you have suggestions for which places should be called out. I am going to try and zero in on the most popular cities and places of interest. I would like to be able to call out at least 30 - 40 popular locations. Hyrule, the Citadel, Ogrimmar, Mario Kingdom, Rome - Assassins Creed, etc.

Please post your suggestions in the OOC so we do not clutter up the recruitment thread with conversation. You may post suggestions and ideas even if you are not approved!

I believe I'm done Red! Just need word on the backstory relating to the sealing of the triforce.

Finished
Ganondorf

But times came where the Dynasty started to order his team to hunt down allies. To execute everyone in a training facility, including the children Even taking down the flagship of a man he had come to respect. Shepard. Ganondorf did not agree with any of these orders. Not a man to deal betrayal at the hands of another, he broke away from the Dynasty. Using his magic to get his men and monsters to the safety they desired. Each of them going into hiding.

Which he soon discovers is a job to free some prisoners who were being set up for execution. He decides to tag along.

Weapon: Swords of Demise - These greatswords pulse with a power darkness, and are said to have been the blades of the greatest evil that ever walked on the land of Hyrule. They have the added effect of powering up more dark energy the more they are used as well, once brimming with that power they can unleash a power attack that can demolish foes.

(28:40-30:50) Fighting style with weapon

Special Powers:

Demon Kings Magick: The magic ability of Ganondorf utilizes the power of darkness and lighting. With these powers he is able to cause great harm, curse lands themselves with plagues at his most powerful. Summon parts of his Ganon form, teleport, corrupt beings, among other things. His magic is mostly used in combat however.

Empowered by Darkness: Dark emotions empower him and increases his strength. The more he can feed on, the greater his strength. The battlefield of war is one of his favoured places due to this ability of his. As any being in a war will begin to hate their foes, enraged as their friends are cut down, despair and feel fear for their own demise when they are losing.

Triforce of Power (Sealed Level 1):
Augmented Physical Body: Full Power
Augmented Darkness: Medium
Augmented Lighting: Minimal
Unageing: Sealed
Monster Summoning Bonus: Minimal
Form of Ganon: Locked

Strengths:
Dark Lords Tolerances: It is very difficult to damage him with either powers of darkness or lightning. More often than not being attacked by either will instead empower him more.
Ganondorf Training: He is a master of two handed sword fighting and fighting hand to hand. Combining his magical prowess, his physical strength, and his weapons together into one brutal style of combat. His time in smash bro's world shows just how deadly he can be without a weapon in hand.
Ruthless: He Ruthlessness is legendary along the land of his home. Some of the things he has done in his previous lives would mark him as a monster.
Dark Kings Rule: He was a king. His charisma and words guiding his people to fight and die for him in war. His rule was one of Strength where only the strongest survived. This charisma and leadership showed itself again when he was a general for the dynasty.

Weaknesses:
Light: Light burns away at his power and damages him more than anything else. Doing at least twice the amount of damage a normal element would do to him besides the one's that he uses himself.
Children: He can not bring himself to kill children with his own hands. It is one line he has yet to cross and is shown by the mercy he gives Zelda in the time of the Wind Waker.
Bad Publicity: The word of mouth revolving around him is in no way favourable nor does it put him in a good light. Speaking of his cruelty and his murderous rampages in war. Making him seem like a monster.
Sealed: A good portion of his power is sealed away.

Great sheet Rish! Love the hairdresser part

My only note would be that the war with the Dominion happened thousands of years ago. Many generations have passed since then, and now nobody alive that is known of (with the exception of the Empress) has any living memory of the war.

If you want to just slightly retool your History in a similar manner to how I outlined Shepards. He was a servant to the Dynasty in the wars that have taken place since, though not directly during the Dominion war.

As for the hairdresser idea....

I do hope you play him a bit more like the MGDMT Ganondorf, who is far nicer about things and just trolls Link to make his life difficult because he has to oppose Link. Mostly because I love MGDMT.

I want to reserve a spot for Warden and Vercile as they have already expressed interest.

Past them, please deliver your sheet to me before the end of today if you would like a spot in the game. Right now we have about 10 players, which is a healthy number.

SEPHIROTH

Home World Information
Gaia, referred to as the Planet by the people of the world, is a technologically advanced planet dominated by humans, who are the only major sentient race other than a few nearly extinct species.  The world is economically, militarily, and politically dominated by the powerful conglomerate of Shinra Electric Power Company, which profits from the use of Mako Reactors.  The reactors siphon a special type of energy—called "Mako"—out of the Planet and convert it into electricity.  One of the byproducts of the extraction and refinement of Mako energy is Materia, a concentrated form of Mako which allows the wielder to harness its magical properties.  President Shinra leads his eponymous organization, and is the world's de facto ruler.  Unbeknown to most of the world Shinra is involved with many horrible genetic experiments, which have created many of the monsters that roam the Planet.  Mako energy is drawn from the Lifestream, a flow of life-force beneath the Planet's surface.  All life originates from the Lifestream, and returns to it upon death and the Lifestream is the sum of all the life that has ever and will ever live upon the Planet.  The process of extracting Mako energy drains the life of the Planet to generate electricity.  This can be seen in the Shinra's capital city of Midgar surrounded by a wasteland where plants barely grow.

Appearance/Style Description
Sephiroth is a tall, inhumanly attractive man with a muscular, mesomorph build.  His eyes are green, cat-like eyes that seem to glow due to the Mako energy within in and has very long, silver hair that has its bangs part to either side of his face.  In combat, he traditionally wears a black trenchcoat over a black, standard uniform of SOLDIER, Shinra's military organization; over the shoulders are armored, iron pauldrons and the upper part of his chest is exposed to public view, covered only by straps fastened into an X.  However, as the modern times and influences of several other worlds have become evident with the rise of the Dynasty and into current age, he has been shown to dress in more relaxed attire such as a simple black tee and blue jeans.  He remains humble to his character, never dressing too inappropriately to the occasion.

Sexuality
Sephiroth is a heterosexual Submissive.  This is because his years as a soldier has trained his mind and body to be at the utmost keen sense of perception possible at all times and he became enticed by the thought of someone leading him in intimate affairs.  While he remains humble and regimented due to his military upbringing, he finds the company of women a new found (not-so) guilty pleasure he's developed over time, particularly those of strong independent presence.  He tends to favor shorter women but it's not a requirement.

Personality
On the surface,  Sephiroth is a professionally, cold man but he is not anti-social and shows true compassion towards those he qualifies as friends.  He has displayed moments of humanity and emotion that overruled logic and duty at times as well, showing he isn't incapable of mercy and and compassion.  Despite his intelligence, strength and skill (as well as his reputation), he is a humble man who fights out of a sense of justice and purpose.  He has never been one to fight for glory or personal gain, although, his articulate and graceful demeanor can easily suggest him as arrogant.

When the gloves come off, however, and his military experience is required to forefront the more benign individual he is, he displays a calculating ruthlessness and willingness to sacrifice for victory at any cost.  Though he is not outright vengeful, he goes extra lengths to ensure his enemies (or those of his friends and allies) pay the cost for their transgressions.  It is out of that sense of honor and kinship that he took the value of those closest to him over his obligations to the Dynasty, defecting to join the Resistance and bring down the source of authority that has insulted its station.

History
Sephiroth was born to Professor Hojo and Lucrecia Crescent, who were working as assistants to Professor Gast, Shinra Electric Power Company's top scientist, on the Jenova Project that studied the remains of an extra-terrestrial entity known as Jenova.  Jenova was mistaken as one of the Cetra, an ancient people who had the power to "talk to the Planet."  Hojo injected cell samples from Jenova into the pregnant Lucrecia and her unborn baby.  She carried Sephiroth to term, his fetal form merging with the Jenova cells as he developed.  After the baby was born, he was taken away by Shinra scientists and Lucrecia never even had a chance to hold him.  Sephiroth never gained the ability to talk to the Planet, as he is not a true Cetra descendant, but Shinra found another use for him and raised Sephiroth to be a super soldier.  They told him nothing of his true parentage, instead saying his mother's name was "Jenova" and telling him nothing of his father.  Sephiroth felt different from other children but didn't know of the experiments that had created him.  Sephiroth came to respect Professor Gast until he left Shinra under Ifalna's guidance, and considered Professor Hojo a hack scientist in comparison.  Sephiroth joined SOLDIER and during the Wutai War and was instrumental in ensuring Shinra's dominance.  He rose to the rank of SOLDIER First Class and was admired and respected as a great war hero, while those in Shinra considered his strength unequaled even by other First Class SOLDIERs.  Many young men, including Cloud Strife and Genesis Rhapsodos, idolized Sephiroth, and sought to join SOLDIER to become heroes like him, making Sephiroth useful for Shinra as a propaganda tool.

Near the end of the Wutai War Sephiroth has only two close friends within SOLDIER, Angeal Hewley and Genesis Rhapsodos.  When Genesis and Sephiroth duel in the virtual reality Junon, Sephiroth seems to be the strongest, but the fight ends inconclusively.  Angeal stops the fight before either hurt each other too badly, although the small wound Genesis takes does not heal.  Sephiroth offers his blood for a transfusion, but is told it is not compatible. Shortly before the Wutai War ends, Genesis vanishes and is declared missing in action.  In the months after the war, the anti-Shinra group AVALANCHE intensifies its actions, raiding Junon.  Sephiroth engages the AVALANCHE leader, Elfé, who asks whether he wants to "fight for a reason," which has a profound effect on Sephiroth.  Meanwhile, it is discovered Genesis has defected with a Shinra scientist Hollander, creating an army using copy technology to graft Genesis's cells onto other traitor SOLDIER members with which to rebel against Shinra.  Angeal goes rogue torn between his loyalties, and the two are declared killed in action.  As Sephiroth participates in the AVALANCHE Insurgency and Genesis War, his loyalties and emotions continue to be thrown into turmoil leading to him refusing missions concerning Genesis and Angeal, and on a later assignment he allows them to escape.  Zack Fair, one of Sephiroth's SOLDIER First Class comrades, kills Angeal and apparently Genesis, but the latter resurfaces several months later.  Sephiroth participates in a mission to "rescue" Professor Hojo who had almost defected with the AVALANCHE forces attacking the Shinra Headquarters.  In September of 0002, Sephiroth tells Zack he is considering retiring from Shinra, and their next mission together will likely be his last.

It was...

On September 22nd 0002, Sephiroth arrives at Nibelheim to investigate a monster outbreak believed to be connected to Genesis near the town's Mako Reactor.  He arrives with a small entourage, including Zack and two Shinra infantrymen, one of whom is the sixteen-year-old Cloud Strife.  Upon arrival Sephiroth asks Cloud how it feels to be back in his hometown, as he lacks one.  When questioned about family, Sephiroth explains his mother, Jenova, died during childbirth, but stops short of mentioning his father before proceeding with the mission.  At the Mako Reactor Sephiroth finds several pod-like chambers containing monstrous creatures who used to be human, mutated by exposure to Mako.  He finds a chamber labeled "JENOVA" containing a feminine-looking creature.  When Zack suggests a connection between SOLDIER and the creatures in the tanks, Sephiroth flies into a rage, horrified the reason he is "different" may be because he was created similarly to the monsters in the pods.  Disturbed by the creature in the reactor having the same name as his "mother," along with the once human monsters in the pods, Sephiroth makes his way to the Shinra Manor that had been occupied by Shinra researchers, and pores over the research notes in the basement library wondering why he was never told the truth of his origins.  He comes to believe Jenova is a Cetra, and therefore he as Jenova's "son" is the last Cetra survivor.

Then tsomething came and set the town on fire and killing many of the townspeople.  Concerned for his supposed "mother",  Sephiroth fights through to the Mako Reactor accompanied by by Zack, Cloud, a young woman named Tifa and her father.  Unfortunately, Sephiroth noted that he could not stop the threat after they cut through his companions and went toe-to-toe with him for an indeterminate amount of time.  Just after this realization,  he is caught off-guard and impaled from behind through the abdomen.  He, then, fell into a pool of Mako below where he seemingly met his end.  However, his willpower, even in his moments of death, were too great to allow himself to be consumed and instead fell into the Lifestream of the planet, Gaia.   Over the next several years Sephiroth travels the Lifestream, growing in power and knowledge, and the fragments of his body congregate at the Northern Cave inside the North Crater, joining to recreate Sephiroth's physical form in a cocoon of Mako.

Current Situation
Now, in current day, he has started to notice a pattern that he took note of in Shinra and has defected to join his friends and allies gained over the years serving in the military.  He has seen many worlds and enemies during his time under the Empress' military, gaining many allegiance and allies.  The fate of Angeal, Genesis, Zack and Cloud however, remain a mystery to him.

Weapon - The Masamune
The Masamune is a Japanese odachi blade.  The tsuba is entirely black and the tsuka is wrapped in red.  The blade itself measures six feet long.  It is claimed he is the only man capable of using is effectively and while initially a physical blade, after his transference into the Lifestream, Sephiroth can manifest multiple copies of the blade at will, as he leaves the sword impaled in his victims and still has it whenever he is encountered.

Special Powers
+ Supernatural Physiology:  Due to being bred into the ultimate super-soldiers by Hojo and Shinra,  Sephiroth possesses inhuman physical characters such as strength, speed, agility, endurance and reflexes.
+ Lifestream Existence:  During his years long slumber in the Lifestream of Gaia,  Sephiroth has further gained paranormal abilities that go beyond even his biologically augmented body.  One of these abilities is manifesting Masamune at will, leaving him unable to be disarmed for long at all times.  Secondly, he is able to manifest a solitary black wing granting him the ability to fly or levitate.
+ Unparalleled Swordsmanship:  Wielding Masamune for as long as he has, despite it's initial impression of impracticality, Sephiroth's command and control of skill with the blade has left many speechless.  This is easily seen in how he wields Masamune, swinging it faster than the human eye can see and cutting through solid metal and concrete.

Strengths
+ Reputable Appearance:  With his history before and during the Dynasty, he is a man widely recognized by the majority of the Video Game Universe.  He is both a source of fear and inspiration with the military accomplishments and humble disposition.
+ Military Veteran:  His military accomplishments has left him with generations of experiences leading soldiers, military units and even armies at a time and he knows when to make the difficult calls even if it leaves a poor taste in his mouth.  He learned a long time ago that he will answer to every action taken due to being in the eyes of many and that not all choice he will make will be the popular one.
+ Physical Overpowering:  Not to say he is the quintessential definition of physical strength and athleticism but Sephiroth's sheer force and power is not to be trifled with, capable of quickly those caught off-guard or unprepared for ruthless, calculated assault.
+ Emotionally Indomitable:  Matching his dominating presence and strength, Sephiroth is quite difficult to anger and make him lose focus.  He is a distinguished military veteran with the weight of countless soldiers and a reputation backing him.

Weaknesses:
+ Emotionally Vulnerable:  However, despite his, he is not impossible to manipulate or exploit.  His honor-bound sense of duty has its faults and the reputation he carries with him often leaves him vulnerable to great amounts of stress even if it's inscrutable.  For this reason, he has become a victim to the charms of women who seem to take an interest in letting him relax for a while, so to speak.
+ Magical Vulnerability*:  Due to Sephiroth's pursuit and alignment to physical domination through unrelenting onslaught, he has lost touch with his magical inclinations and actually become more vulnerable to damage of magical properties.
+ Lack of Discretion:  Because of Sephiroth's reputable appearance, he is left unable to go anywhere without being recognized and this leaves him scarce for periods of solitude or doing activities that require discretion.  It takes him considerable effort to find the company of a woman in privacy because of this.

Notes
*  I have chosen to leave him magically impaired for my personal of 'class alignment', so to speak.  Instead or producing a character with a versatile skillset, I instead chose to focus this Sephiroth as a melee specialist.

TECHNICALLY, my rendition here never fell into madness.  The Dominion happened JUST before it happened so he was never a baddie in this continuity.

Angie

I hope you're not including Kristen in that count: She's a CURRENT baddie. Though, baddie is relative when the threats you fight in secret world are (in order): Cthulhu, the forces of Hell, Loki, ancient vampire clans, supercharged demons, Nephilim (one of whom is a threat to a full party of high level characters...and then you find a SQUAD of them taking down the aforementioned supercharged demon), and the Dreamers-creatures of such power that them snoring in their slumber was enough to cause the fall of the Third Age, all Gods help you if ONE-ONE!-of them wakes up.

What I'm saying is Kristen might be evil, but she's up against things that are DEFINITELY evil.

Well, Revan could easily be considered a villain at times, as could Sylvanas.

Heh, that would make sense. Oh, on my finished edit I had shepards ship being one of his ordered targets that he refused to do and broke away from the dynasty for. If that's a-okay I'll move my sheet over~

I modified Jack Archer's story a bit for the Dynasty Era. I hope it fits better now.

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Dynasty Era:
After the War with the Dominion, Jack enlisted as a pilot for the Dynasty, He fell into with the Dynasty's vision of a grand future. Flying for them for decades trying to quell rebellions, and small conflicts. However, as time past, he saw more, and more free worlds come under the tyrannical thumb of the Empress, and her Dynasty. Countless worlds that were forced to disarm at the threat of utter destruction. And he had a hand in it. The last straw was his own world. Seeing the proud Zentraedi, and their fleets being forced to abandon their culture. Their once proud faces now so lost, they're merely a shell of their former selves. It made him happy that his rival, Kiyora,  did not live to see what became of her people. If she was not insane before, she would have been driven mad by it all.

Jack Refused to turn over his VF-1R Veritech Fighter to the Dynasty to be destroyed, and escaped his world along with several others. The most notable being Max, and Miriya Sterling. Who fled with their new born baby girl, Dana. They followed Rick Hunter, and Lisa Hayes into Hiding. Moving from place to place, Jack fell back into his Mercenary roots, and training. Taking odd contracts like he did during the global Civil War. Anything to keep his baby flying, and food in his belly. Though parts, and supplies were getting harder, and harder to come by.

Eventually an interested party came forward with a proposition. They want Jack to Assassinate the Empress. At first Jack scoffed at the idea. Saying that her security was too tight, and nigh impenetrable. However, the Client was able to produce maps, and codes for Jack to slip into a Dynasty Aerial review that the Empress was to preside over personally. Jack felt like it was an opportunity that he could not pass up. He took the job.

It was a Trap. Agents of the Empress were looking for individuals that had talents that could pose a true danger to her safety, and Jack's combat flying ability was second to none save for Maximillion, and Miriya Sterling. Though it was a point of friendly contention on who of the three was actually the greatest. When he arrived, he managed to get into the show. Right before he could close in on the Empress to launch a salvo of missiles. The trap was sprung, and Jack found himself in a dogfight for his life.

He wouldn't go down easy, and took an impressive number of Dynasty fighters with him before his own VF-1R could no longer remain airborne. Bailing out, he was injured as he parachuted into the forest, and was quickly overwhelmed by Dynasty Ground forces, and captured.

Current Situation: Prisoner to be executed for attempting to assassinate the Empress during an Military Air Parade. However, he was discovered before he could get close enough, and was shot down, and captured.

Looks great Rish!

Up he goes then! Mhmmm...could I add a little to his life story before the dynasty like Warden has done?

BruceTheCat

Of course Scrib! Sorry I got to include your name.

@Warden, your sheet looks good! Similar note that I had to Rish's sheet, none of our characters would have been alive during the time of the war with the Dominion. Just make that edit accordingly to your sheet. You can leave exactly what attacked Sephiroth vague for now. I've got an idea for a separate, non-Dominion enemy that would definitely be powerful to do that. But I'm still working that out.

Also, why is your character now being executed by the Dynasty?

@Rish, sadly no. Sorry!

Samus Aran

Current Occupation: Bounty Hunter--formerly worked on contracts for the Federation and for the Dynasty by extension.

Home World Information: Samus' galaxy is a somewhat stable place in the absence of grave threats that she herself has had to deal with. Although the Space Pirates are a constant, recurring enemy--and the Galactic Federation she sometimes works for has its own secrets and agenda. K-2L was her place of birth (left behind after the Space Pirates' raid that left her orphaned), while Zebes is the planet she was raised on by the Chozo (Inadvertently destroyed ).

Appearance/Style Description: Without her armor, Samus stands at a height of 6'3", and has about 200 lbs. to show for it--muscle owed entirely to the rigorous training she has undergone since childhood and far onward. Despite this, she still maintains an overall feminine appearance and is often regarded for both her capabilities and her physical attractiveness. Blonde hair (typically fashioned in a ponytail), harsh green eyes, and the well-toned, perky body that goes without saying, all come together to form a character not easily missed in a line-up.

(The person in orange seen below is not human, but instead an SA-X, an X parasite mimicking Samus.)

During the events of Metroid: Fusion, Samus' first encounter with the X Parasites nearly killed her, and required the infected parts of her suit to be removed, giving her armor a more "stripped-down" appearance. She has managed to restore her suit's former appearance, however, before the Dynasty took her prisoner.

Sexuality: Samus is pansexual--while she is acutely aware of her preferences, she has not given herself many chances to explore them further. That doesn't mean they don't exist, however.

Personality: Beneath the armor you might have expected someone aggressive, as strong outside of it as they appear inside--Samus is no exception to the rule, but she does have a couple of asterisks in that profile: Samus is not as money-hungry a bounty hunter as the others of her time. The want is still there, yes, but there's more to it; the warrior here has a genuine desire to do good, to do something that benefits more people than just herself. It is not quite easy to see from the outside in, however.

Eyes are the windows to the soul, but that doesn't help when the owner has drawn the blinds and the drapes closed. Her gaze is typically one of few things: either cold, inquisitive, or pissed off. Coworkers probably describe her as a hard-ass--any description of the real body part, notwithstanding. Samus is alone, but not lonely--ask her and she'd say that, and openly admit to having that lone wolf attitude. However, she is fully capable of making friends....and a relationship is not out of the question. Fleeting, flirty encounters or a long-standing companion, either one is a possibility.

History: From the Metroid wiki:

Samus Aran is an intergalactic bounty hunter and the main protagonist of the Metroid series.

Orphaned during a Space Pirate raid on her home of K-2L, Samus was adopted by the mysterious Chozo and taken to Zebes where she was infused with their DNA and raised to become a warrior. Once she reached adulthood, Samus joined the Federation Police where she served under the Commanding Officer Adam Malkovich, but she ultimately left to become a Bounty Hunter, though she was nonetheless recruited by the Galactic Federation on many occasions. Armed in her cybernetic Power Suit, Samus has become famous for her accomplishments on missions others thought impossible. Her most renowned achievements are the destruction of the Space Pirate base on Zebes, her role in ending the Galactic Phazon crisis, her extermination of the Metroid species, and her disobedience of orders at the BSL station where she chose to destroy the deadly X Parasites rather than turn them over to the Galactic Federation.

Current Situation: Samus defied her world's Galatic Federation, as well as the will of the Dynasty, over the course of her last mission on a biological research station; she chose to eradicate the hostile X Parasite species, including the incredibly dangerous SA-X that were spawned from the infected parts of her suit, rather than allow her superiors to handle them as they saw fit. It is the first time she has defied orders, and possibly the last--as many believe she is becoming more of a liability than an asset, with the very real potential to defect. Thusly, she is a wild card the Dynasty intends to terminate before becoming too great a problem. Samus was ambushed in her Home World, her ship confiscated, and while her Power Suit cannot be taken from her, her restraints prevent her from accessing it. The Paralyzer from her Zero Suit has been taken, however.

Weapon: The Zero Suit: This is what Samus wears underneath her power armor, and it is usually not seen while she on a mission, unless her Power Suit has been compromised or damaged beyond use. It is skintight, and as a consequence, somewhat revealing, unlike ordinary clothes--The curves to her hips, the swell of her breasts, and the shape of her ass, etc., are going to be obvious. There is the simple solution of just wearing clothes over this suit, of course. While in this form, Samus is much more agile, but also weaker.

→ The Paralyzer: This is a modular weapon with the appearance of a handgun. It cannot kill enemies, but as the name suggests, it can stun them with its energy shots. Charged shots have a longer stun time. As of her performance in the smash bros. games, The Paralyzer can also shift into a Plasma Whip capable of striking foes to send them flying, and tethering onto ledges and enemies like the grapple beam.

The Power Suit: The iconic suit she is widely recognized for, and the main carrier for most of her offensive abilities. Samus is able to materialize it to cover herself at will, as well as dematerialize it for the opposite. Specifics below. Utilities are not listed.

(A/N: For easier reference, the abilities are limited to those featured in Super Metroid and Smash 4. Additional abilities, even if they are canon in other games, may just be acquired in level-ups for the sake of making them stronger by proxy.

And besides, Metroid veterans, if you think about it, this makes sense--at the start of most of her games, Samus tends to lose some of her powers and get them back later! :P )

Arm Cannon
The primary weapon of the Power Suit, it is highly modular and upgradeable, and can accept new beams as they are discovered/created.

→ Charge Beam: This upgrade allows Samus to charge up her beam weapons and release a powerful attack. This lets her damage some enemies that are impervious to simple beam shots.

→ Missiles: Missiles are used to open locked doors and to defeat enemies that are invulnerable to regular beams.

→ Super Missile: Super Missiles are similar to ordinary Missiles but carry significantly more power. They are capable of opening doors that Missiles cannot, and there are many enemies that cannot be destroyed with any other weapon in Samus' arsenal. The impact of a Super Missile can dislodge enemies crawling on walls and ceilings.

→ Ice Beam: Gives the Arm Cannon the ability to freeze enemies, allowing Samus to use them as platforms. This beam is extremely useful for defeating Metroids.

→ Wave Beam: Allows beam shots to pass through walls.

→Spazer Beam: Shoots three parallel yellow laser shots. Has much more power and width than the Power Beam. Cannot be equipped at the same time as the Plasma Beam.

→ Plasma Beam: A green laser that is capable of hitting multiple enemies at a time. Much stronger than the Spazer Beam. Cannot be equipped in conjunction with the Spazer Beam.

→ Grappling Beam: The Grappling Beam allows Samus to swing from magnetic blocks and certain enemies on an arc of electricity. The Grappling Beam, while apparently powerless, can actually be used to defeat a number of enemies, and is capable of latching onto certain targets and essentially, well, grappling them.

Suit modifications

→ Varia Suit: This upgrade to the Power Suit allows Samus to withstand the extreme temperatures of Norfair and changes the suit to an orange color, as well as offering a slight decrease in damage taken*(See weaknesses for an exception--This version of Samus is post-Fusion).

→ Screw Attack: The Screw Attack is a jumping technique that transforms Samus' Spin Jump into a whirling saw blade of energy that can damage enemies and clear obstacles.

→ Bombs: When in Morph Ball mode, Samus' Power Suit can deploy bombs used for destroying obstacles that block Samus' path and attack some enemies.

→ Power Bomb: The much more powerful bomb, Samus uses this to damage enemies, and sometimes either destroy larger obstacles or at least reveal what can destroy them.

Special Powers: None, other than the abilities already from her games:

→ Shinespark: A byproduct of her Speed Booster upgrade--which allows her to sprint at high-powered speed after generating enough momentum. If she crouches in the middle of such a sprint, the boost is "charged up", and can be used to launch her in a straight shot in any given direction including airborne, only stopping upon hitting terrain or an enemy that is strong enough to halt her approach. Energy from her power suit is constantly expended during a shinespark, until either the move ends or Samus' energy reaches critical levels.

Strengths:

• Independent operative: Samus can function well by herself, and does not necessarily need assistance in combat unless new circumstances arise. Although she can and often will assist allies even if it's unnecessary, to ensure the destruction of the enemy.

• Mental Training: Samus has been trained since she was a child, and she's continued to push herself since then, almost never allowing herself to "get rusty" or lower her guard. Even in peaceful areas, with little chance of threats, Samus will remain in alert mode--possibly making her the first and the fastest Protagonist to react if things actually do go wrong.

• Physical Training: She is well-toned and quite accomplished at fighting in most situations, with or without her suit. She knows the importance of being able to adapt.

Weaknesses:

• Cold: The administered vaccine in Fusion allows her to absorb X Parasites, but a surprise side effect occurred. Samus has inherited the Metroid's weakness to Cold-based attacks. While the Varia Suit upgrade mitigated this by preventing environment hazards from affecting her, as well as preventing her from being frozen solid, any cold/ice-based attack may deal more damage to Samus, Power suit or not, than it would to other Protagonists. In game terms, this would amount to cold attacks having a high critical strike chance, so to speak.

• Technology Dependent: A large portion of her arsenal comes from her weaponry, and especially the Power Suit. Should these be unavailable, Samus will be at a disadvantage and forced to make do with whatever she can find.

• Loner Tendencies: She generally keeps to herself, though this does not make her socially awkward--mostly it's a matter of blowing dust off that underused playbook and opening a wrinkled page or two.

• Tension: Samus has a hard time letting go of that "Combat ready" aspect of her mind; it does not matter where she goes or what she's doing. Unless she is utterly confident that nothing will happen, she'll act as if something will happen. Samus is at her best in a battle, and she has no idea what to do when there is nobody left to fight. This can lead to rivalries and brash competitions with others.

It looks like we have more Villain characters than Heroes. But honestly whether you are a Hero or Villain won't really matter. It's all going to be how you play them.

Home World Information: The netherworld is a cruel place to call home. Leaders are determined solely by their power and take on the title of Overlord. They command their vassals and seek to obtain more power, often consuming other worlds in the process. The common threat of the Dominion rallied many of the demons, most relishing the opportunity to let out their blood-lust. With the Dynasty in control, most of the warring between the Overlords has ended creating some confusion in the hierarchy of the demons. On Veldime, a certain overlord took advantage of this to increase his own power.

Appearance/Style Description: Rozalin adores fancy clothing and displaying her highly attractive assets. Her go-to outfit is a beautiful black, gold, and rose dress of Victorian fashion, though not of Victorian morals. When a bustle and draping skirts just won't do, Rozalin has been known to select more modern evening gowns or even tanktops and short skirts. She has small demon wings that are more for appearance than function as she hovers or flies using magic. Her hair is typically pulled back and accented with a band-like crown. Often she wears a coy grin on her face when she is feeling in good spirits. Just as common are her angry scowls and hurt frowns, though these expressions are terrifying or heartbreaking to witness.

Sexuality: Straight. Loves Paizuri(boob fucking), fellatio, and being dominated (since she is always burdened with responsibilities)

Personality: Rozalin is difficult to get along with at first. She is haughty and high-maitenance, expecting anything she desires to be delivered immediately. Her most recent escapade with Adell has humbled her significantly, but the princess demeanor does not dissipate overnight. Since Adell's passing, Rozalin has begun to wall off others as her predecessor did, though she can't quite cut herself off entirely. There is still a hidden softness within that craves contact with others.

As an Overlord, Rozalin frequently must deal with the needs of her vassals and minions and defend her own superiority as Zenon's reincarnation. Zenon's desire for solitude conflicts with Rozalin's role as Overlord, but she has decided she will not abandon her people, Adell's people, or anyone that swears fealty to her. This responsibility keeps her going despite the loss of her love. Rozalin views the Empress as another Overlord, not quite understanding her true role as she was still known as Zenon at the time of the war and immersed in solitude. Eventually, Rozalin knows she will come to conflict with the Empress and seeks powerful vassals that will aid her as well as to improve her own strength.

History: Rozalin's history technically begins with Zenon, infamously known as the "God of All Overlords" and ranked Demon God. After slaying 99 Overlords, she recognized she was becoming something other than a demon. Her decision was to reincarnate. The 100th Overlord, the only one spared, believed that Zenon disregarded him so much that he needed to seek revenge. He took her name and raised Rozalin as his own, pampering her so that he would be idolized by her.

Living her carefree life in a mansion catered to by servants was blissful to the young girl until she was accidentally summoned to a town to fight Adell, a would-be hero. The summoning ritual was meant to summon the overlord that had taken Rozalin's previous incarnation's name, who was causing havoc among the mortals. Rozalin was not happy with the idea of someone trying to kill her supposed father and tried to trick Adell into being killed. After many failed attempts in which Adell overcomes his adversaries and saves Rozalin, she eventually discovers what her father had done.  Unfortunately for him, Rozalin awakened in a fight with another Overlord unleashing Zenon's power when the seal was broken. This led her and Adell and some other loyal followers to defeat the usurper. In order to do so, Rozalin needed to break the seal again to unleash Zenon's true power. Though she was afraid to do so, in order to protect her friends she determined she had to. Her fake father was destroyed in a final blast, but Zenon's influence lingered. Without the seal, Rozalin's existence was controlled by Zenon's will, a desire to return to solitude. Adell, pulls Rozalin into a kiss, bringing her back to her senses, albeit with flushing cheeks and a racing heart.

Rozalin was now the strongest being on Veldime, a world of demons and a single human, Adell. She declared herself Overlord and began rebuilding Veldime and learning of the fate of the outside world. The unification of the Dynasty and the war against the Dominion took place before Zenon reincarnated. In Veldime, Rozalin's false father cut off ties to the Dynasty focusing on growing his own power. When Rozalin retook her title, the Empress had already considered the netherworld Veldime to be an enemy of the state. Rozalin is not interested in answering to any higher power and has decided to recruit others into freeing their worlds along with her own.

Adell's lifespan was certainly longer than expected for a human, but far too short for Rozalin. Decades have passed since his passing and Rozalin has experienced much inner turmoil. Her demonic nature is no longer held back by Adell's humanity, and could become problematic. Trying to sate her desire for emotional connections has been difficult, but staying sane without it is worse. Flipping between wrath, desire for solitude, and longing for personal contact has made the last few years of Rozalin's rule a bit worrisome for her people.

Current Situation: As an Overlord of a small world, Rozalin has some connections that she is attempting to pull to increase the numbers of the rebellion. She herself has decided to meet with the resistance to see whether they are worth her time.

Weapon: Noble Rose - While not her most powerful weapon, it sticks out in her mind as her first gift from Adell. While technically she had received equipment from him before then, this was the first one she received after she stopped wanting to kill him. When she needs the extra firepower, she pulls out Etoile, a gun she looted from the Item God herself.

Etoile - The most powerful weapon in Rozalin's arsenal and certainly the most valuable as well. When an enemy proves to be resistant to her Noble Rose, Etoile can usually put a hole through it. Or many, as the situation requires.

Doom Wand - In addition to her guns, Rozalin keeps a staff in reserve in the event she needs to focus on her magic. While she can cast without her staff, her spells are certainly empowered and more versatile while she wields her Doom Wand.

Special Powers:
Kneel Before Me Rozalin can affect a few of her minions or allies in battle improving their attack capabilities. (Attack, Hit, and Int improve by 10%)

Rose Thorns Rozalin converts her pistol into a large chain-gun and unleashes a torrent of bullets on any enemies in her path.

Rose Liberation When releasing some of the power from her seal, Rozalin generates a massive collection of dark energy until it crystallizes. When ready she can smash it into her enemies for incredible damage.

Strengths:
Overlord's Power - One of the perks of being overlord is having vassals. Being able to send out meat shields and keeping a healer around has its advantages. Even better is learning the skills and abilities of your vassals. Rozalin has picked up moderately damaging spells, support spells, and healing spells from her servants. As her servants grow stronger, the spells Rozalin has access to grow stronger as well.

Overlord's Arsenal - As the Overlord, Rozalin also has access to the treasury (which is currently not too impressive), and all of the items within. She can keep a few items on hand or send them back to her warehouse where she can have them retrieved when not in a combat situation.

Princess Gleam - Men near her on the battlefield are invigorated allowing their attacks to be more potent. (Approximately 20% more potent)

Gun Skills - Rozalin is something of a crack shot and can fire off some incredibly unique trick shots including a three shot rapid fire, blasting multiple opponents with a wide area burst, or focusing an intensely enhanced shot through a line of enemies.

Weaknesses:
Close Combat Ineptitude - Rozalin is very much a back row combatant. She does her best work commanding others to fight for her and supporting them with ranged fire from her guns or her magic. When she is forced to fight in close combat, she can use her staff or a sword to defend herself, but not particularly well.

Sealed Power - A good portion of her power is sealed to prevent Zenon, her past self, from overtaking her. With Adell gone, Rozalin is loath to unseal her powers as he was the only one who could bring her back. If she does activate her sealed powers, she will likely attack her allies after defeating her enemies.

Princess Syndrome - Rozalin is the first to complain when things are not to her liking. She expects royal treatment and accommodations and will be a nuisance to anyone who doesn't comply.

Unstable Emotions - Adell's death has caused Rozalin to experience wild peaks and troughs in her emotional state. She can sometimes spend weeks in a depressive phase where tending her responsibilities seems an insurmountable obstacle. Other times she takes out aggression on enemies without remorse. She even sometimes has periods where her softness wins out, potentially threatening her image as Overlord.

Prism Rangers Fangirl - The Prism Rangers are the best hero group of all time! Cosplay maybe?

I vote for Gayle as well. I think my favourite part about Rozalin is that her favoured and special weapon is a Gatling-Gun. That rose thorn attack.

Also, it would be rad to have a Reborn. We haven't abused that privilege yet.

I like both Gayle and Jill (because I look beyond pics at the actual details of the profile). Jill has a lead and support occupation that would be very beneficial in a team setup. Gayle seems like a bruiser like majority of the team, but I do think that Gayle would have a more interesting character development as opposed to what you currently have for Jill. So I am going to vote Gayle because I think you may find that character funner and their journey more interesting. She has a lot of social barriers to get around. :-)

I love your Rozalin. I didn't even think about Disgaea. She makes a cute and unique addition.

Well as I said, I would detail whichever character you guys preferred. I have much I could go about in abusing said privilege. :)

I do feel like I slacked on Jill's character sheet, but I did work on her a lot less. In my head it's more about fitting in to the ideas of a mass crossover of video games and giving a unique counterpart to everyone else.

I think that both characters serve an interesting purpose and would be able to carve out a suitable niche. Neither archetype is explicitly represented and both of them able to develop in interesting and exciting ways.

Diesel Heart

I'm going to have for Gayle as well, mostly because Final Fantasy 8 is my favorite installment of the franchise and I find the idea of a female Squall highly interesting.  The artwork I'm familiar with as well and it entices me despite my preference of smaller breasts.  It's not about me though so I have no idea why I said that other than to share a bit too much and possibly come off as creepy so I'll shut up now.

tl;dr:  Gayle

I'll scurry away now.

@Vecile, both of your sheets would be approved, so you can feel free to pick your final choice! I like Gayle the most between the two.

@Niki, Rozalin looks awesome! The only note I have is to add a section in your History that explains why she has now been captured by the Dynasty, and is about to get executed.

I will be writing the first IC post later this evening, and upload (hopefully) a significant bout of World Building information tomorrow!

Ollumhammersong

MegaMan X

Current Occupation: Constable

Home World Information: Earth (kind of)

Appearance/Style Description: His appearance may change with upgrades to his armour and abilities. But he looks as he always does. Blue and badass.

Sexuality: He has had close relationships with other female reploids in the past. Though Intimacy between machines is very different than intimacy between organics. In terms of sex at least.

Personality:

Megaman is the stereotypical hero in many ways. Loyal to his friends and loyal to his purpose as a protector of humanity and of the peace. At first himself and his kind embraced the rule of the dynasty. It brought two bitter sides of a seemingly endless conflict together. Both mavricks and Hunters side by side once again. He was fiercely loyal to the Dynasty, believing it was acting for the protection of mankind.

So his and a select few other reploids sudden mutiny accusations seem out of character. In truth he started seeing the dynasty for what it was. Something dangerous and harmful to everyone. The same reploids used as front line soldiers during the war were now making mass street patrols and being used to brake up 'riots and unlawful displays' nad disturbingly enough being tasked to harm the very humans they were programmed to protect. Which only disturb him and his fellows further. There were only two or three strong explanations for why that would be and none of them bode well for anyone in the video game multiverse if they were true.

History:

The reploids were some of the first to answer the rallying call of the dynasty and defend against the incursions of their mysterious foe. Their programming and designated purpose was to defend humanity in general, but the humans of their
universes in particular, at all cost. Even if that cost was their own lives. And many video game character's outside of their universes do fall under the banner of 'human'. Admittedly many do not but the reploids were and are neither against or in favour of their deaths. And if the humans of their worlds insisted that they live, well the reploids would fight for them too.

For the more advanced reploids the process of being downloaded into a new body was a huge advantage, as on top of being durable and relentless they could could remember every time they failed and how they were outsmarted. And improve themselves for the next battle. This information was even taken and uploaded into every new batch of reploids that were cranked off the assebmly line so that as many benefitted from it as possible. Of course sometimes the data cores were not always found in once piece. These were unfortunate times as reploids who had gained years worth of experience fighting the enemy could no longer spread their knowledge to their fellows.
Megaman X's history started as most characters did. Some time after this turbulent time. By this point the reploids had gone from being front line soldiers to a near exclusive and widespread police force. Their rigid dedication and programming meant they were ideally suited to breaking up riots and quelling rebellions. Both of which were things megaman did. Often alongside many ex-mavricks. People who once considered enemies but were now once again comrades in arms. For that reason alone most mavrick hunters thought the Dynasty was a good force at first. For it controlled and directed the mavricks innate aggression instead of letting them wreak havoc on their own.

But eventually his programming as a reploid and his own concious were starting to fight against some of what he was being asked to do. After all he was designed and purposed to protect humanity. So why would that include physical violence and executions? And he wasn't the only reploid to think this way. Many of the other more advanced reploids like himself were also facing this crisis of concious.

This is one of the main factors that lead to many of the more advanced reploids, Mavricks and hunters alike  starting to question their roles as 'constables' and the status of their own programming and safety.

Current Situation: Being escorted to his execution, accused of conspiring to commit mutiny within the constabulary and to overthrow the (debatebly) lawful reign of the queen. Not an entirely false accusation either.

Weapon: 'X-Buster'

A highly customizable piece. Powered by energy cells which themselves are rechargable with solar energy or a suitable recharging station.

Capable of rapid fire and charged shots as base abilities and even creating energy blades, though this will drain a power cell at a faster rate. And the built in internal weapons converter allows him to have a near infinate amount of options and weapons to choose from. Assuming he has time to complete the scans, upload, and internally alter his buster to produce the desired effects. Depending on what the special weapon is it can take awhile.

Special Powers:

Special Weapons: Megaman can absorb special weapons, abilites and means of protection from slain boss type enemies to better suit his current environment. These abilites can also be given freely by other reploids and Mavricks (if they want)These are often very specific and very unique in their operation.

Minor special abilities can taken from certain weaker enemies and/or scanned and downloaded if given sufficient time to study the target and the desired upgrade.

Minor and major special abilities are either considered to be temporary or expendable. In which they more long lasting but only usable a select number of times.

In both cases these differ from his themed upgrades tailored specifically for him and other reploids.

Strengths:

Mechanical muscles- An advantage in many ways. Concepts like loss of breath (doesn't even need to breath he can do it but it is for cooling his circuitry. Usually not necessary), stamina, aging, sore muscles. These things do not exist for reploids. And that can give them an edge in extended fights/bouts of physical endurance like chasing down an enemy or fleeing or just navigating difficult terrain.

Highly modular- Being mechanical means that upgrades are nearly always possible. Faster, stronger, Shoot fireballs, even accept modifcations normally unique ot other reploids and as found out during conflicts from other video game characters and worlds. And modifications or alterations can be made with ease. And removed with almost as much ease.... usually.

And literally anything can be done to his body in terms of modifications. Infuse him with elemental abilities? Go right ahead, Remove the buster and replace it with another hand? Done. Upgrade his armour, his entire appearance and loadout and wiring can be subject to change and alteration. elemental infusion? go right ahead.

Motherboard- Having a computer for a brain can come in quote handy when dealing with other computers and security doors. The ability to essentially plug himself in can make hacking or browsing files and commands all the easier and faster. He can also communicate through this medium and other electronic mediums with other reploids and mavricks. Often without others being being able to tell he is doing it.

Weaknesses:

Mechanical muscles- A disadvantage in many ways. Things like EMP blasts can be devestating to him. Luckily he is water and rust proof and fairly resistant to lightning based attacks though extreme amounts of energy can still overcharge and damage his circuits and basically fry him from the inside out.

Motherboard- Megaman X can boast some of the best software protections in the video game world installed into his head. But that doesn't mean especially potent viruses can't play merry hell with him.

Powered by energy- Energy cells can last a long time, but even the highest capacity cells eventually run dry. And being forced to use more advanced and powerful weapons and systems can be a literal drain. Without sufficient energy Megaman would be forced to start conserving power, shutting down systems one at a time until more energy can be found.

One hand- It fucking sucks only having one hand!
Hi i'm a polymorphic alien who has taken the form of this signiature to have sex with your pupils, and by the smile on your face I can tell your enjoying it.

Final Fantasy VIII  is a 1999 RPG set on an unnamed fantasy world with science fiction elements, following the story of a group of young mercenaries, led by Squall Leonhart, who are part of an organization named SeeD. Initially travelling to different countries to stop the sorceress Edea, their goal changes to stop a sorceress from the future named Ultimecia from compressing time.  The world primarily consists of modern elements, but does contain some futuristic elements. The planet comprises five major landmasses, with Esthar, the largest, covering most of the eastern portion of the map. Galbadia, the second-largest continent, lies to the west, and contains many of the world's civilizations. A northernmost landmass named Trabia, an Arctic region and positioned roughly in the middle of the world map lies Balamb, the planet's smallest continent, with southernmost landmass includes an array of broken sections of land that have drifted apart.

              Lipstick/Gloss
              Cigarettes
              Motorcycle
Style - Unruly Teen

Sexuality: Bi-Curious

Personality:
Gayle is an introverted, cold and well reserved youth who pushes away those who would otherwise be considered her friends. Though withdrawn, Gayle does not shy away from duties or commitments she puts her mind to. Even though she is very practical with an honourable sense of responsibility, she harbours a great deal of fear in getting close to anyone and continues to question her life's purpose. Some refer to her as a classic case of; "Hard on the outside, soft on the inside."

History:
A small fragment of defining force has lingered within this world for many generations, untouched and lost in time it's strength forgotten. As the soft yet unyielding grasp of peace reigns with a compassionate hand is crippled however, so too does a knight rise from the maw of legend. It is an age of peril and the Dynasty has carved it's own history into the world and has ruled with an iron fist, forcing a knee of those who cannot fight and ending those who can. Balamb Garden among the first to fight back, remains a smouldering crater as the last to fall. During the events leading to it's destruction, Gayle Leonhart's family is murdered in cold blood attempting to escape the war. Being only a child, Gayle slips through the cracks and wanders the small central continent alone and afraid until reaching it's shores. In a dire state, Gayle is found upon by a local fisherman whom shortly after discovers is a famous smuggler. Perhaps by chance or perhaps by fate, Gayle is nursed back to health and taken to Fisherman's Horizon before being transferred to Dollet where she was raised by a quiet couple. Gayle had never been too open or accepting of her adoptive family and had spent most of her time out in the streets, getting up to all kinds of mischief and mayhem. During her years on Dollet, Gayle grew up learning how to fight and survive on her own and at the age of sixteen took her leave. Taking with her a few lessons in motorcycle maintenance along side a reconditioned bike, journeying to Galbadia Garden and applying herself to the remnants of their militia. During her time Gayle stuck mostly to herself, shutting herself of from the social gatherings of her class mates, peers and in general; the world around her. Two years slipping by, Gayle's training had come a long way and after successfully graduating she was given her first real mission..... and her last.

Current Situation:
A failed assassination has landed Gayle a one way trip to the executioners block.

Weapon: Gayle's Gunblade consists of a sword blade and a gun action built into the hilt, with the barrel running inside the length of the blade. They are mostly used like normal swords, but triggering a round sends a shock wave through the blade as the weapon passes through an opponent to boost damage.

Special Powers:
Limit Break (Renzokuken) - Renzokuken is a series of slashes from Gayle's Gunblade.
Survival (Guts!) - "Guts!" is a passive attribute Gayle retains, upon taking a fatal blow has a chance to stand back up and give it one more go!
Final Attack (Heaven's Divide) - Throwing her blade high into the air, Gayle rushes her opponent in a flurry of punches and kicks. Completing the combination by grasping her sword mid-air and attempting to slice the victim in two.

Strengths:
Junction - Gayle holds and uses a variety of Materia and Guardian Forces(GF) (Summons).
Critical Strike - When striking with her Gunblade, pulling the trigger unleashes a power shot increasing the damage of her attack.
Lone Wolf Proud Lion - Gayle works well in a team, but also works well alone.
Inspire - Even though Gayle prefers not having to lead, she has a spirit that aides in rallying.

Weaknesses:
Humanity - Gayle is a fit an enduring young lady, whom has battled beast, monster, alien and demon alike. Even though she has accomplished a great deal, she is still only human.
Bane of Heroism - Gayle remains closed off from the people around her, never hinting at the underlining fact that she maintains her fear and doubt with great stress.
Stubborn - Occasionally, if Gayle doesn't think the present plan is practical and sound enough, she'll go off on her own.

Niki315

I added a little bit more to the current situation to account for being sentenced to execution. I've also decided to open up her sexuality a little. <3

Rozalin

Normal Form

Unsealed Form

Current Occupation: Overlord of Veldime. Attempted to get a job as a teacher, but wasn't qualified.

Sexuality: Pansexual. As a demon she can feel attraction from many forms, genders, and beings.

During a skirmish with Dynasty loyalists, Rozalin wanted the chance to parley with the Dynasty before fully committing to war. There was no hearing or trial and Rozalin was sentenced to execution without any discussion. Needless to say, Rozalin was enraged and offended by the Dynasty's course of action and vowed to show the Empress why one does not make enemies with Overlord Rozalin.

I think in a one on one Ms. Leonheart would have a considerable advantage. Rozalin definitely performs better with a meat shield.

Oh don't wait for me.  Please do post. Im eager to see what so many talents can do. ^_^

I have a bit of confusion at the moment. Is every single person captured to be killed at the moment? My character current situation is that he's joining a team to save some prisoners, the party basically. No word to correct that was ever mentioned. And I had thought W.A.R was as well. But it seems I was wrong as he's currently captured. So should I make it so Ganondorf is currently captured as well instead of following the cage from the trees on his black hell steed, Waiting for the signal to attack?

scribus1000

The OP said all characters were being taken to their execution in the beginning of the story. Though if there are exceptions, I guess that should be made clear shortly.

Lol, sorry Scribus  >_< I didnt mean to exclude any one or make anybody sad. Sorry. T_T

Also, yay for Samus! Wooop wooop! xD .

Any way, as per Redlobsters suggestion I will make my character. To come in later if there becomes room, or if he feel's the rp can bring in more. My original decision was to be Garrus, but as we are male heavy I am also considering something else. I was thinking perhaps the hero from Dark souls. But one of his abilities, is to change his gender. via an object he owns. That being, the Coffin you use to change your sex in Darksouls 2. So that way I can make him a her, when given the opportunity to do so. It also makes sense, as he is Hollow. A curse in which through time, the cursed can very well forget who they are. When a human effigy is used, the Hollow does not revert back to their humanity nor who they once were, but merely imitate what little they remember of themselves and slow down the curses effects. Of which is so out in the air, who is to say he is really a she or vice verse. It's really the worst kind of identity crisis when you get down to it. :P lol. But hey, I think being a Hollow is something a certain someones character can relate to xD ^^ . Yay for World of Warcraft!

Niki315

Even if there's a few more males than females I don't think it's necessary to change who you want to play. There's nothing wrong with an rp being a little unbalanced. It's usually more of an issue with groups of one or two of one gender and a dozen of the other. I think we can work with the current split.

I am in agreement with Niki! On top of that the gender balance is really only important if everyone in the game wants to RP smut. I don't think that is the case for every player in this game.

As I agree with Nikki, I have decided I would play Garrus any way. xD Thank you for the well needed logic bomb guys.

Red: I to believe that not everyone is here for smut. As I am fairly open to the idea of some Xeno fun with Garrus and another party, I do not require such things to occur in order to enjoy a good cross over story!!!

Then I think it wouldn't matter whether you are a male or female! Maybe I'm wrong, I've just never understood a reason for the gender balance other than for smut purposes.

As a reminder Garrus, I am playing Shepard. So I would recommend reading through my sheet before drafting up yours.

I think it might have something to do with making sure no one is left out. In places years ago when I've joined a game that is too overly-balanced with one gender I've seen guys ending up pinning for attention for the girls, in the RP, not OOC, groups forming and certain people being left out as they were the odd genders out. It tends to happen to guys more often than not. Not seen a lick of it on this site though! As everyone is cool and generally take things easy and discuss it.

But I think it depends on the people in the group. We're all nice people and this isn't the kind of game where anyone can really be left out.

*Plus I lovveeeeeeee garrus. Waves fanboyflag*

Lol, no worries. I already wrote the history in fact. Here's what he is doing currently, post reapers:

Now Garrus is a detective. Using his skills learned investigating crimes for C sec, to help people once more. However, his friend is in a jam. Shepherd faces execution, and while his friends fate seems imminent. Garrus is determined to discover evidence proving Shepherds innocence. Proving that he was arrested without just cause, without having committed an actual crime against the dynasty. If he doesn't do so in time to stop the execution, at least he can do so to clear the hero's name in the eyes of the public. Indeed, it is a dangerous game to play.

Rish: I actually know exactly what your talking about, though yes I to have rarely seen it here on E. None the less it exists. Honestly I think such things are curved by the fact that, sex and romance are two entirely different things. And I dont see every girl getting pinned to a romance any time soon... Well, maybe 'pinned' but not to a romance. xD lol :P .

I'm liking the read of that. And then when you actually get to join us you can go classic Garrus 'Renegade screw the rules!' and start fighting the dynasty with us ^^

And that is quite true. Honestly, if a romance was going to happen in character I'd like to actually see the flow between my character and another. If they mix well and get along, which, concerning a lot of our characters...'getting along' is going to be like Wrec getting along with Garrus. Its a weird love hate thing going on between the two. I don't like the idea of planning a romances out of character when the two characters haven't even met yet. Ruins the adventure when its a really long game like this. Though crushes set beforehand for known characters can be cute.

Garrus Vakarian
Mass Effect trilogy
“It's so much easier to see the world in black and white. Gray... I don't know what to do with gray.”
    -Garrus, ME 2

Current Occupation: Garrus is currently a private detective. Using his skills learned investigating crimes for C sec, to help people once more. But, doing so under his own employment, without superiors to thwart his own, albeit, aggressive methods.

Home World Information: Garrus is from a Sci fi, extra planetary world known as the Milky Way Galaxy. Within, there is a plethora of races, cultures, and government in which are at constant odds, yet strive for tolerance and peace. It is the very image, of an imperfect future. But one where peace is still tangible, as long as differences are accepted. In garrus's world, there is a machine race known as the reapers. Of which tried, as they have across untold milenia to eradicate all life. So that a new cycle may begin. But alongside his friend, mentor, and leader, Staff Commander Shepherd. Garrus helped turn the tides, his friend going down in history as the hero, that stopped the slaughter from occurring once more.

Appearance/Style Description: Although Garrus has been known to dress for an occasion, as a Turian he feels naked without his armor. He has grayish, avian skin, as his species has many a bird like quality. His body, height and stature much like your average Turian, sleek, tall, strong. But Garrus is more defined, having blue tinted marking's to his rough skin. As well as a scar that truly defines him as a recognizable Turian, his scar having nearly taken off half of his face. To this day it look's rather raw, his skin charred and scarred deeply. Though, some would say it makes him more handsome. As for his armor, he does keep a top of the line Turian battle suit. Though, he also to this day keeps his armor as Archangel, finding it nostalgic, even if it is fundamentally flawed. Having taken damage around the collar area from the same attack that took half of the Turians face. And yes, Turians have metal plating along their bone's and organs. This is for natural protection, and does protrude in small blotches on the body. Further, the metal like, bone plating does form heavily on top of the skin in areas such as the chest, knee's, foreleg's, and elbows.

Sexuality: Garrus is heterosexual, with Xenophilia, meaning he is HIGHLY attracted to women, not of his own race.

"Sorry Shepherd, can it wait for a bit? Im in the middle of some calibrations."
-Garrus to Shepherd, if he has nothing to talk about at the time.

Personality:
Garrus is generally calm, professional, businesslike and hard-working. He’s a man of action, and he likes getting results through decisive moves. A product of Turian culture, Garrus is very dedicated to the greater good and public service, preferably with a martial slant. Given his talent for combat and his intelligence, that he would become a soldier or a cop was presumably never in doubt. Garrus is not a typical Turian in his relationship to authority, though  he doesn’t reflexively accept norms and rules. Still there are limits to this independence, and if the rules are supported by a charismatic authority figure like his father or Shepard, Garrus will immediately accept their validity. However, Garrus also deeply wants justice - to arrest and take down criminals who are preying upon the populace. It’s a burning need, and he cannot tolerate to see somebody he knows to be guilty still free and damaging society. By the time he met with Shepard, he was practically a vigilante with a badge, beating up suspects and recklessly endangering civilians as he obsessed over getting his man to the exclusion of everything else. However, Detective Vakarian is certainly not happy about being such a man. His father was very important for him, and is dead-set against the sort of gung-ho methods his son came to employ. Garrus thus knows that what he’s doing is wrong, but cannot accept the consequences of playing by the rules if that means letting the guilty go.

History:
After his military service which, by Turian tradition, can last well into one’s thirties. Garrus enlisted with C-Sec, where he became a detective. He proved a successful one, his intelligence and resourcefulness giving him a high success rate on his cases. Whether he was a good cop, on the other hand, is highly debatable. Garrus was a man of action even by Turian standards, and grew increasingly frustrated by procedures, rights and regulations. His methodology became increasingly fast and loose, and his presence increasingly came to signify police brutality, violent interrogations, violations of civil rights, reckless endangerment of civilians and the like. Mr. Vakarian (presumably Captain Vakarian at this point) was aware that his son was taking liberties with regulations, and once had to release a pusher whom Garrus had arrested due to evidence tampering, witness coercion and assault against the suspect. Garrus, who was struggling hard against drug trafficking, was furious and he and his father stopped talking. From context, one gets the impression that Garrus then arranged to be transferred from the Ward his father was running to the Presidium, the core of the Citadel. However, tension appeared with the police chief, Executor Pallin, who ran the Presidium force. Garrus nearly quit on several occasions. Though he presented himself as a strictly principled man, Pallin was apparently reluctant to fire Garrus. The main reason was presumably that Garrus got results, mixed with respect for the Vakarian name and with politics - as firing somebody from C-Sec reflects badly on their species. On his end, Garrus seemed to have little idea of what he could do with his life if he left the police, and stuck with the job. At an unspecified point Garrus’ mother became very sick, suffering from a rare disease with no known cure and expensive treatments. Later dialogue indicates that most of the pay of Garrus and his sister Solana was spent on medical bills, as they had to contract Salarian research clinics for investigation into their mum’s unusual ailment. Presumably the pay of Garrus’ father was also helping with his wife’s medical bill's.

In 2183, Humans made grave allegations about a Spectre, a Turian named Saren. Garrus also suspected Saren of malfeasance, being almost certain that he was involved with criminal networks on the Citadel. C-Sec was tasked with investigating the Humans’ accusations - centring on Saren’s alleged role in a major geth raid on the Human colony world Eden-Prime and the murder of another Turian Spectre, Nihlus Kryik. However, as with his previous investigations of Saren, Garrus couldn’t get anything solid since all Spectre activities were classified, and Executor Pallin cut the investigation short as a waste of time. Garrus was now certain that Saren was a menace, but Pallin thought it very unlikely that proof of misconduct would ever be found. Garrus was then approached by Humans still trying to prove Saren’s culpability, and recognized one - the charismatic Marines Special Forces war hero, Staff Commander Shepherd.

Not knowing much about the Citadel, Shepard wanted to share leads with Garrus. As it turned out, the Citadel underworld was in a state of upheaval - Saren was offering a huge reward for a Quarian vagabond, and greed caused shifts in loyalty and gangland warfare. Garrus started looking for the mysterious Quarian, wanting to know why Saren wanted her dead. As he did so he ran into a group of mercenaries interrogating a doctor who had treated the vagabond. This degenerated into a hostage crisis - at which point the Human marines, who were looking for Garrus, stumbled upon the scene. Garrus seized the occasion to shoot the hostage-taker dead, prompting a firefight during which the heavily-armed marines swiftly overrran the rest of the mercenaries. Shepard then chewed off Vakarian for endangering the hostage’s life. Seeing that the Humans were determined to get proof of Saren’s culpability no matter what, Garrus took a leap of faith. He quit C-Sec and asked to join them so he could have a stab at Saren without the restrictions that come with a badge. After insisting that he didn’t want any more cowboy stuff on his part, Commander Shepard agreed to let Garrus join. It didnt take long before the team got a hold of Saren, and after a some heavy losses, the loss of a dear friend, and the assualt on the citadel... Saren was finally taken care of. Killing himself for his own crimes, as Shepherd had gotten through to him, showing the Turian the inherent ignorance in his own logic. After the Normandy killed the reaper that controlled Saren, the team stayed together. Killing Geth on behest of the council, in spite of the real threat being the Reapers.

It was not until after Shepherds apparent death that Garrus had moved on. You see, stricken by the loss of his old commander, Garrus became Archangel. A vigilante. Years later, after his team was betrayed, then killed. Shepherd had saved his life, but not before Garrus received nasty scarring on his face. It had turned out he was resurrected by Cerberus. And they were on a mission to stop the Collectors. Garrus as always, willingly followed his commander into battle. After dealing with the Collectors, years go by before the Reapers finally come. Banding together with his long time friend, Garrus helped Shepherd stave the tide of the Reapers. Uniting the galaxy to defeat them, for good. For the first time in an untold melenia, the cycle, had been broken.

Current Situation: Now Garrus is a detective. Using his skills learned investigating crimes for C sec, to help people once more. However, his friend is in a jam. Shepherd faces execution, and while his friends fate seems imminent. Garrus is determined to discover evidence proving Shepherds innocence. Prooving that he was arrested without probable cause, without having committed an actual crime against the dynasty. If he doesn't do so in time to stop the execution, at least he can do so to clear the hero's name.

Weapon:
Garrus is a sniper at heart, keeping with him the classic M-92 Mantis sniper rifle. Powerful enough to tear through many different layers of armor, but overheats within a single shot. It is a dangerous tool in open combat, but in the arms of a specialist such as Garrus, a tool ripe to terrorize the battlefield. With him he carries the M-18 Vindicator assault rifle, then the M-3 Predator Heavy Pistol as his side arm.

"Just like old times."
  -Garrus as Archangel, ME2

Special Powers:
Overload- Being a tech expert, Garrus can wire in, and effect the systems of most technology. Using his omnitool to overload system's and shields. Depending on the complexity of the system he is overloading, this can take seconds, minutes, or hours. Either way, he can hack in and decimate your computer systems.

Proximity Mine- The technology behind this is to be a small, easily accessible mine which can be carried in exuberant amounts, within a small or medium sized pouch or container. The mine's are connected to ones own omnitool, and have a cellular sensory system which allows each and every one to sense the owner's presence. Thus making the mine safe to it's handler, then deadly to others. It can be placed by hand, or loaded into the under barrel of ones gun, then fired at a distance. As a soldier and specialist, Garrus has grown accustomed to most situations. Learning that as a sniper, one must lay the ground works for their perch, making it trapped and defended. But also learning that as a sniper that is usually out in the field, he rarely gets to have his perch. So he has also learned to calculate, then manipulate the battlefield on the fly. Even being able to launch mines directly at his opponents for a nasty surprise.

Turian Rebel- Born from his care for others and his deep moral centre, as well as his advanced military training. In moments of fleeting pain and intense danger. Garrus unlocks a primal focus born from the rebel deep within him. Being able to react much faster, shoot more accurately, ignore more pain and even activate his tech more intensely. While in this short, fleeting state of mind, time relatively feels to be in a crawl. Even though it is just him having such heightened awareness, that he is deadlier then usual. It is because of this primal focus that he is an unorthodox, out of the box thinker. And thus viewed as a rebellious thinker by his own people. Which views strategies and tactics to be strictly adhered to and followed, not changed or stretched to fit your needs.

Strengths:
-Like many Turians, Garrus is a trained soldier with years of experience, a high level of resolve and courage, and a strong work ethic. He’s also an impressive sharpshooter with superior hand-eye coordination and gunfighting experience, proficient with most things that can be used to shoot people. Though he prefers to downplay it, he was selected as part of a program to identify the best future military operatives in the Turian military, indicating an exceptional potential even as a recruit. Further he was taken into the Turian Sentinel program, in order to create extremely deadly soldiers

-Garrus is also an experienced police detective, who worked the teeming and exotic corridors of the Citadel. Though he preferred action to the dreary realities of everyday police work, he was presented by the police chief as an excellent detective. Presumably, Vakarian got enough results for his boss to put up with his discipline issues to an extent

-Garrus is no ordinary soldier, he was trained in a special program as to be a Turian Sentinel. A program meant to train soldiers how to use, operate, and hack into tech. A form of shock trooper that is still effective to this day. One that is effective in combat, but also know's how to effectively use Tech to their advantage. As he is not an expert in tech, he is capable enough in it that he can operate advanced programming, and if given enough time he can eventually hack a system. However he is best known for calibrating... A lot.

-Turians are roughly as adept physically as a Human of the same size - meaning that by Council species standards they are pretty strong. Their lean physique features bone plates protecting their organs - though this asset is negligible when shot by modern weaponry, we’ve assumed it would be handy in a bar brawl or unarmed duel.

Weaknesses:
-Turians and Quarians are the only two major races with dextro-rotatory amino acids-based physiologies. That is, essential biological building blocks of theirs are organised differently than the norm for, say, Earth life forms. This difference in biochemical chirality has important consequences when sharing an environment with aliens. For instance their organism cannot process amino acids organised in the opposite direction (laevo-rotatory amino acids). Food that comes from animals and plants with the opposite chirality will not provide any proteins. Turian and Quarian organisms cannot secrete peptides to form proteins out of this stuff. Fats and carbohydrates can presumably be digested normally, but a Turian or Quarian cannot live for any significant length of time on Human, Asari, Salarian, etc. foods. Meaning he has to be careful what he eats, and be sure the Dynasty has a steady supply of what would feed him. (Which one can imagine, is hard.)

-Hard Justice!: As cold as he may be at times, there are moments where an evil man can make Garrus completely lose his shit. If not properly calmed with logic, he will do anything in his power to kill the man or women whom has invoked his wrath. If he is not calmed, he would even go through his allies to get to them.

I have Mass Effect 1 and 2 on Steam. I played ME 1 and immediately became bored. I was told to skip 1 and just play 2 and 3. So, I feel unworthy to give the comment your profile deserves on Garuss but from an outsider stand point. It looks great! Very detailed. :-)

Lol, nothing wrong with that. I personally find ME 1 to be the best, as I like the more broad skill system and planetary exploration. But for a more mainstream game, ME 2 and 3 are more to there. As a more recognizable cover based shooter, just with minor rpg elements. Not to say they are bad games as the narrative stays true to it's self up until it shoots it's self in the foot. However as far as an rpg is concerned, ME 1 is the better rpg.

Lol edit: Oh! And thanks. I am glad you liked it. ^^ Sorry I didnt mention it before, the gratitude part of my intended post some how escaped my egg head brain.

Personally I liked all 3 of the ME games, though 2 is probably my favorite. I liked 1 as well; I don't miss the Mako. I do, however, fondly miss my explosive sniper rifle, and my full-auto assault rifle that was so modded that it wouldn't overheat.
I have taken the Oath of the Drake for Group RPs.

I actually liked the planetary exploration of the first game as well. And I felt like the first game I made more difference than the next two. You had more choices, the game was longer. And to me it felt like the one out of the three with the most rpg elements to it. It was less of a shooter and more of a story. I wasn't too keen on the next two in comparison as they felt like they got linear with each game. Though I admit meeting garrus and the explosion on the second game was a highlight. Favourite bro with Wrec from the first game.

I was thinking I might bring over my character from the Protagonists at War series once the character is all settled in.

I'm resurrecting this Thread to see who would be interested in a Reboot of this Game. We're seeking interested parties

Right now, Resurrection would be wholly dependent on Interest.

Vercile

Figured out who I wanna play, will be posting Character Sheet Asap. :)

BruceTheCat

Sounds great Vercile!

if you don't mind go ahead and post the sheet in this recruitment thread instead - https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=253960.0

Since we started a new game I went ahead and made a new recruitment thread for it. Excited to see what you choose!
