Just for fun lets see if we can agree to a top ten list of greatest erotic inventions or innovations of all time. Here is my list and why-

1. Panties: Face it this is the perfect clothing for women and makes us look even better than being nude. Add to that the wide variety from string panties, crotchless panties, varieties of thong even the grandma panties can be sexy.

2. VHS and even better DVD: It made porn accessible to more people, allowed erotic movies that might not be around otherwise to be made direct to video. Not to mention allowed the rerelease of old classics to a new generation of adults porn and erotic movies of the pre-video generation.

3. The Internet: The USA's greatest invention and did to porn what even video couldn't do from free porn, fringe porn even adult shops wouldn't dare carry (although I did not approve of child porn but that is being taken care of by the internet providers) and even let everyday people do porn. I will note parental blocking software in this as a sub innovation that protects children from pron after all adults can watch what we like but parents have a duty to protect their home according to their values. So overall a big innovation. Yea to America you can't fault us for this one abroad.

4. The Classical Greeks: Come on they started the first public run brothels, allowed Sappho to become the greatest peotess and whose very name and home island coined Sapphism & Lesbian and did the whole worshipping of the human form thing. Not to mention influenced the Romans and that allowed some great erotic art. Add to this fraternity and sorority organizations come on now who can't watch Revenge of the Nerds and not see the value of the such noble organizations or Animal House or well even National Lampoons The Naked Mile. All use Greek alphabet to determine their names so I say The Greeks are just neat.

5. The Roman Catholic Church: Ok they are repressive assholes as a group but all the Catholic countries make great porn, they invented several forms of bondage & S&M techniques, adopted the Catholic Schoolgirl and Nun outfits talk about erotic potential, inspired more sorts of erotic movie than can be imagined and for all their faults as a church are the basis of much we hold dear. And Brazil has carnival in Rio De Jainero and the hottest swimwear on the planet. And must I add Spain, France and other nations are more progressive than the US to gays and prostitution.

6. The Far East: Ok lets be honest here they are just cool over there. Japan is known for various forms of erotica, China hasa rich erotic history, India ok the Kama Sutra enough said.

7. The First Amendment of the US Constitution: This is just cool sorry but it protects the artistic use of sexuality and lets us enjoy porn being so ambiguous with the internet it makes the whole thing uber cool.

8. The Sybian: Ok there are vibrators for women then the Sybian. 10. The Women's Movement: Heh feminism isn't all bad we used to do good things for the cause like better opportunities for women, equal rights, women getting the vote and liberation of women from the traditional ways of thinking. Sure some went off the deep end and started attacking porn and other areas of free choice but overall there is nothing sexier than an intelligent, empowered, able and outgoing woman- unless the man can't handle one then they are not really a respectful man is he. Add to this the new wave of feminist like Pagelia is bringing sanity to the table again. But to my mother a real incredible and powerful woman and her generation we your daughters thank you and say great job. Also a nodful respect to the British, French and other nations for showing American women the way with spearheading key areas of The Movement.
