Welcome to Cold Creek. Its a quiet place to be. At least that's what the faded and worn sign that was barely visible through the thick grey fog stated, the hooded lights hanging on the sign flickering and giving off a sickly yellow glow that barely illuminated the cracking surface of the old sign mounted near the road leading into town. It supposed to be a popular tourist destination based around Toluca Lake. But something doesn't feel right. The weather was supposed to be clear so why was there a thick swirling fog covering everything?

Your instincts tell you to get back int he car, turn around and go the other way.

But you were supposed to met the others at Lakeview Hotel.........ignore the feeling of wrongness you get back in your car and leave the observation deck and head into town.

Game Info

A simple introduction: Cold Creek is a Silent Hill inspired mild horror free form sand box centered around a small isolated town called Cold Creek. Its a beautiful place, there's a small amusement park, lake and two accommodating hotels and two apartment buildings. On the surface it appears to be a normal small historical town sitting on the edge of a lake ,surrounded by thick temperate forest

While Cold Creek is a popular tourist attraction and its a historical town appearances are deceiving. Cold Creek  is ruled by a powerful supernatural force that changes the town randomly into a nightmarish place populated by monsters that are physical representations of fears and guilt.

You do not need to anything about the Silent Hill series at all to play.

-This is a semi sand box meaning you can add onto the town, make new locations, make new monsters, new NPCs and the like. This is a game designed for players to add onto it

-Explore as much or as little as you like. There is an entire town and the surrounding land that can be explored.

-While a semi sandbox in nature, this game will focus on story arcs throughout the city. These are optional and the players are free to make thier own

-Unlike my other group, there is no magic in this one. There is the paranormal and the supernatural how ever.

-This game is open to every one

-PTV is made from an indigenous plant, White Claudia that is easily found through out the heavily forested regions. Its very addictive and produces different effects on the user though it commonly produces realistic hallucinations, lowers inhibition and is rumored to heighten sex. PTV is illegal of course but its very popular among tourists and is easily made in small mobile labs that are set up abandon buildings.

History

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
Built along the shores of Toluca Lake, Cold Creek appears to be a mid-sized town tourist town that is surrounded by wooded hills and rivers.  The lake itself has a long history of drownings, suicides and disappearances including a DUCK watercraft full of tourists and several small watercraft.

Going back more then four centuries, Cold Creek's history is plentiful and dark. To the local tribes of Native Americans, the Toluca Lake area had been known as "The Place of Silenced Spirits", and was long considered to have a kind of spiritual significance and an air of mysterious power. It was considered to be a holy place, where many rituals were conducted in accordance with the indigenous beliefs.

The late 1600s saw the arrival of settlers who would force the indigenous people from their sacred lands. These settlers would remain in the area until the turn of the century. At the start of the 1700's, an epidemic swept through the surrounding area surrounding Toluca Lake. With a large portion of the populace dead, the settlement was abandoned. It wasn't until the start of the 1800's that resettlement began.

Tragedy struck again when, around 1890, people began to mysteriously vanish from Cold Creek. At the turn of the century, Cold Creek was re-imaged as a tourist destination and has become a destination for fisherman and boaters.

These are the town rules and structure.

Who can leave and who can't?

Delivery people, non-local authorities and almost all tourists can go and come as they please as town does not want to bring trouble and it wants a steady influx of people. Those whom the town doesn't want to leave will find it impossible, the forest surrounding becomes vast and confusing, cars break down once they leave the town, it becomes foggy outside of town etc

For characters who wander into the town after being lost in the woods or they are down on their luck (divorce, run way, ect) they will find motels and hotels are free of charge to stay until they are officially stuck. Some older residents will put your character in a home for free. Though either way when the character leaves the building and latter returns they will discover thier belongs have been rifled through and minor personally items have turned up missing such as photographs or creepily enough, panties. But never anything of monetary value like electronics and jewelry.

Characters who have cell phones or computers will find that any calls or e-mails for help do not reach thier destination.

You call someone up and shout "Help help me! I'm being held against my will!" but what the other person hears is "Its so wonderful here. I might just move here. So should you."

How long does the town stay normal?

Its verries. Some times months will pass by with no to little supernatural activity, other times the activity goes on for weeks to months at a time. Those who have been there the longest keep stock piles of food, water and supplies and are not too keen on sharing since there's no way to know when things will revert back to normal.

What happens to the town when it changes?

Cold Creek becomes foggy, twisted and macabre.  There are regular monsters and things that roam the town but most monsters are based on a characters fears and guilt. And its not always monsters, it can be loved ones, both living and dead and the like. It depends on your characters sitation.

How to arrive

So many ways. Your character can be a native of the town, someone who moved there or even a tourist who though the small resort town would be a nice place to take a vacation. Other ways your character can arrive:

-Take a wrong turn and drive into town.
-Get lost in the woods and find themselves telaported unknowing to Cold Creek
-Something as simple as being transported in a vehicle and waking up to a vehicle devoid of other passengers that has gone off the side of the road

Characters

You can play pretty much any character as long as they can fit through a doorway and have enough intelligence and ability to communicate, both Fandom and originals. Just no fantasy based characters. You can choose to play Silent Hill monster as your secondary or third character or make your own monsters. Keep in mind the monsters of Cold Creek are physical representations of fears, guilts and secrets.

You can currently have up to three characters and as many NPCs as you can handle

NPCs (these are all NPCs that are currently GM controlled, players can adopt any if they wish, just let me know)

Sheriff James Paterson: Middle aged, short dark hair, slightly overweight, drinks far too much coffee, knows about some of Cold Creek's past and is often the one dealing with missing persons cases or having his men fish some car that was driven into Toluca Lake.  He knows a lot about the PTV drug being sold and manfactured in town but chooses to do little about it since he's paid under the table to look the other way

Jeremy Stalf: Owner of the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. Short, middle aged man with long greasy red hair, thick mustache, balding, is a generally unpleasant man that smells as if he's been bathing in cheap aftershave. He's a known fence for the less savory people of Cold Creek and will take almost anything no questions asked. Everything in the shop is over priced and a lot of it is stolen from tourists by locals so they can support their PTV habit

Eddie Dombrowski He is an extremely insecure, mentally disturbed and bullied young man who is self-conscious about his weight and physical appearance and has a troubled past. He's rather over weight, short blond hair, small blue eyes and round face makes him look younger then his twenty something years. Due to being overweight, Eddie was bullied and verbally abused all his life and dislikes the body he was born in and despises woman and being bullied.

Eddie worked part time at the bowling alley before it was shut down and now works at the gas station. He wears khaki shorts and a blue-and-white striped polo shirt, together with a cap turned backwards.

Elle Holloway A prostitute that calls Jacks Inn her home. She came to Cold Creek in hopes of starting a new life and escape her abusive ex only to find that no matter how far she ran, her past followed her.

Bobby Ricks Also known as DJ Ricks, owns the local radio station, shock jockey, knows a lot about Cold Creek but due to the powers that be he can't just flat out tell it as is or warn new comers over the air waves so he weaves stories and has people call in and tell their tales but sooner or latter the dark forces will catch on

Jillian Conway  She is very sexually promiscuous and loves flirting around with other woman, enjoys pushing the buttons of others and likes to live in a carefree manner. The idea of being 'weighed ' down by a significant other and being forced to settle down terrifies her

Joseph Schreiber Avid collector of porn, has no social skills to speak up, stalks females and becomes obsessed with them, is hated by many of the other residents of Jacks Inn

Sign me up! I am very much interested in playing a girl (human) that has lived in the town all of her life, with her family history stretching back for many, many years.  Possibly one of the towns first settlers.
ON HIATUS AGAIN

I'll put interest here. I have a character that I think would fit well, if I can nail a name down for them.

I've only completed Silent Hill and played a fair chunk of Silent Hill 2, though I have watched Jacob's Ladder, which was a strong inspiration for the first game, in visuals and some other things I noticed.

WindVoyager

Its a pretty open game set up so players can add things on. I can see this small family owned dinner that is set up like a '70s dinner compete with soda founten and jukebox. Its been in town for nearly fifty years that acts like a place for most new characters to arrive at so they can get some information about the town and like.  The owners have known about the town turning into a hellish nightmare version of itself for a long time now but can't warn others. not that they'd want to.

Loves

So basically the town might appear as if it hasn't changed much from the 1950's. A sleepy little town that appears harmless. Like a Venus flytrap  lol.

I like it!
ON HIATUS AGAIN

WindVoyager

I'd imagine its a very quiet place, almost like time has passed it by and no one really cares. It gets busy during the tourist season with all the people coming for the spring and summer festivals, the camping, and recreation on the lake..............that has a very long history of suicides and drownings. Like the DUCK boat that sunk a few years back. No survivors unfortunately. Their only means of escape, the windows had all been locked the night before so no one could escape. As of late there have been an unusual number of drownings. All of them men. And for the PTV. The local sheriff knows about it though most at the station are paid under the table to look the other way since the PTV brings in much needed money.

Then there's the old dinner.......that a wife chopped up her husband in the back of when she caught him cheating and put the reams in the freezer.......

And the amusement park is reopening. The one were three kids vanished and there have been countless accidents and even a few deaths becouse the old owner cut corners.

And the old bowling alley that shut down a while back..........you really dont want to know what happned there.

Loves

Now I really want to know what happened at the bowling alley.

Lol

That all sounds awesome!

Disgruntle employee on PTV. He cornered the staff and a few customers in the back, tied them to chairs then arranged them in a circle facing each other. Then he took the fire ax and chopped them up one by one in front of each other. To make matters worse, he went bowling with the body parts. The sheriff found the establishment owners head in the ball return

Loves

heeheeeheehee

did he bowl the perfect game, that's what people really want to know.  ;)

He did. Rather hard to miss those pins when you are using arms and heads as bowling balls

There are body parts still stuck int he ball returns and the like

Just to add to the creep factor I've changed some things like any one who stays in one of the older hotels will find that their belongs have been riffled through and minor things have been stolen, like photos or.....panties..........can you see some creepy looking hotel manger with a room full of stolen panties? To make matters worse one of the hotels has false walls built in and a series of narrow passages between the wall so certain perverts and peek into rooms and watch the customers.

eternaldarkness

I'm interested, but one question: would a native of the town who deliberately goes out looking for trouble and/or danger be feasible? I'm thinking of someone who has lived there his entire life and wants to escape for some reason. Maybe simply because he's never seen the outside world.

Yes  XD

Just becouse they are a native doesn't mean they want to stay in a town that turns into your worst nightmare at random times.

I've been out of the RP scene for a long time but I'm thinking about getting back into it and this scenario intrigues me.  I've got what I think is a pretty good idea for a character I'll have fun playing in this setting.

She'll be part of a ghost hunting group investigating the town's paranormal history.  I wonder if anyone else would like to join me in playing a character from her group?  If not, it's fine, I can have the group (except for her) disappear at the start so she's alone and motivated to stick around to find out what happened to her friends.

The character I'm working up would be an easy person to get on your side, if noone else is interested.

Here's what I've got so far:

Name: April
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight (reluctant submissive)
Age: 18
Species: Human
Fandom or original: Original
Appearance:
A short, cute nerdy girl with a shy but confident stance.  An abundance of babyfat gives her a somewhat cherubic appearance, while her unusually large breasts do their best to assert her adulthood.  Her long brown hair is fixed up in a simple ponytail.  Her eyes are a deep blue in color, and shine vividly when the light hits them just right.  She wears summer clothes; a tanktop and jean-shorts.  Purple-striped stockings denote a quirky flair to her personality, but otherwise her outfit is pretty much what you'd expect from a young tourist.
Personality:
Logical and adventurous.  She's the one all her friends go to when they have trouble with their computers.  She loves knowledge and is always interested in learning, specifically about things that defy scientific explanation.  She is also quite conflicted and is a person of contrasts.  Secretly she has some very twisted and kinky ravishment fantasies but goes to great effort to hide these fantasies and will deny them at every turn.  Though she is very logical, she does have some quirks that show through in her fashion sense and aesthetic tendencies.  She avoids sexual situations, pretending to not be interested so as to avoid having to deal with her secret fantasies.
Fears\guilt:
Her greatest fear is losing her freedom and ability to investigate the mysteries of the universe.  If she ever finds herself locked up or imprisoned, she will do her best to escape, even suffering physical or psychological torment to do so.  She is also deeply afraid of her secret fantasies coming to light, knowing what kind of attention it might bring.  The only thing she feels guilty about is having sexual desires that conflict with her life goals.
Strengths:
Logical, almost to a fault.  She is very intelligent and has a knack for figuring things out.  This makes her quite versatile and allows her to think her way through most challenges.  She is also quite agile and her small size gives her an advantage when operating in small spaces.  Her natural coordination does give her impressive accuracy with ranged weapons.

Weakness:
Her logic isn't always a strength.  If she encounters something that defies her scientific knowledge, she will be more intrigued than afraid, and has a tendency to run toward things that she may be better off running away from.  Aside from this, she is small and not physically strong, and can be overpowered by stronger or larger foes, if they can catch her.  In addition, she is sexually represssed, which makes her vulnerable to certain types of manipulation.
offs and ons:
Turn ons: Intelligence, Logic, Her Male Alter-Ego (oh how meta of me), Bondage (secretly), Underwear Fetishism (secretly), Rape Fantasy (secretly)
Turn offs: Scat, Vore

Scenario Background:
April was part of a group of ghost hunters who came to Cold Creek to investigate the town's paranormal history.  April is the tech manager of the group, responsible for maintaining all of the electronic equipment, including computers, communications equipment, recording equipment, EMF detectors, generators, batteries, and so on.  The group entered the town limits late at night and took a wrong turn, ending up lost in the wilderness around the town.  Unsure of their location, they decided to pull over and sleep the night in the van, hoping to find their way in the morning with better light.  When April woke up, she found her entire team was missing, leaving her alone in the van.  She searched around the van, but could find no evidence of what happened.  There weren't even footsteps.  Knowing that her team was not the type to pull this kind of prank, she quickly became worried.  She left a note and one of the team's spare cell phones behind in case the others showed up and took the van into town, hoping to find help, or at least resources she could use to further her investigation.  It proved much easier to find the town in daylight...

This is all tentative obviously, I can change bits of this as needed.  The character is my current main, designed to be adaptable to a variety of scenarios.  I do have other characters but I only intend to play this one for now.

though I tend to use actual pictures rather than drawings, is that okay?

Cool.  It's fine with me, I just use CG because it's the easiest method for me to create unique characters with, and I love playing with character generators anyway.

I had a few ideas for how to integrate other characters into the ghost hunting group scenario.  We could have only certain members of the group disappear, or we could have April wake up alone but then find the other members of her group as she investigates.  I haven't decided what anomaly caused the disappearance, so we could just let that get revealed via emergent story.

I haven't worked out the ins and outs of my character yet, but I do like the idea of her being part of the ghost crew rather than someone who has always livedin the town.  I was thinking that she might have some kind of "secret" that might haunt her, and therefor draw attention to her fears once arriving to said  crazy ass town

it would be her reason for wanting to chase ghosts... like she wanted to say sorry to someone, or say goodbye and shed the guilt that she's been carrying with her.

The Cold Creek Historical Society was originally just outside town down Nathan Ave but someone purposely set he building on fire. What records survive are at the new CCHS in Town Square but its not easy to get at a lot of the records so any one who wants at them will either have to lie through their tooth, be pervasive or...........breaking and entering any one?

That and Toluca Lake has a unusually rate of suicides and disapirances

shadow2k

That's a good idea for a starting goal, at least for my character.  April wouldn't have any problem breaking into an office and stealing things if her friends' lives depended on it.  She's very loyal to her friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to take risks on their behalf if necessary.  However, she won't jump to that conclusion right away.  She'll probably spend her first day or so asking around, trying to work through normal channels until she gets frustrated and turns to more drastic measures.

However, alot of what she does in the beginning depends on how many of the other members of her team are around.  She's not a leader, and she wasn't in charge of the group, she's just the tech girl.  So, she would defer to another character unless she had to take the lead, or was sufficiently unhappy with the leader's decisions.

Saying this, I wonder if we could get someone interested in playing the leader of our group?

I got the feeling it's basically a sandbox setting, so you could write your own erotic horror or other players could.  I'd certainly be interested.

That's what I hoped to hear!

With your permission I'd like to create a you hitchhiker who wanders into town (or is she drawn?) and stays at the hotel. Maybe she  runs afoul of the panty-sniffer before hooking IP with the local ghostbusters.

shadow2k

I get the feeling our first encounter is going to involve the panty sniffer.  My character has a repressed underwear fetishism quirk that will be fun to play with in that context, and she'll naturally be looking for a place to stay once she arrives in town.  She'll naturally be embarrassed when she finds her underwear missing, but she'll also be a bit excited, and wish she wasn't.

MC would be the flip side of that coin. She'd sell hers, if it meant turning a profit, but she'd be pissed as hell if someone stole from her.

WindVoyager

That would be Jacks Inn. Its right off the main road leading into Cold Creek, Nathan Avenue, also known as County Road 73. Its a few miles past the observation deck looking out over Toluca Lake, don't use the restrooms, they haven't been cleaned in a  long time. You'd be better off using the bushes.

Jacks Inn is one of the older buildings in Cold Creek, the owner of the motel have let many things slide over the years. The two story L-shaped is cheap and run down and is frequented by prostitutes.

Given Jacks Inn is the first place on the road to stop and its the cheapest it does make sense. Also Mr Panty Sniffer has hidden cameras up in interesting places. As Miss Winston, owner of the local mom and pop grocery store would say "He's a lonely boy that's all. He's always so alone up there, rarely comes into town. He has some quirks but don't we all dear. Don't we all."

I'm toying with the idea of making Mr Panty Sniffer the step brother of my character who is jealous over her getting their fathers inheritance among other things  and wants 'his' half of said inheritance so he can support his drug habit. Would cause a lot of tension.

eternaldarkness

Since it's looking to be sort of sandboxy erotic horror would my survival-horroresque character even work? I'm thinking someone that would be sort of the town troublemaker. The only one running into the mist when everyone else is running away from it. Someone who knows a lot of the towns dirty secrets and is probably not too popular because he's making a concerted effort to find out what's going on. Perhaps someone descended from the local native tribe.

And he'd even come with his own Nemesis.

Name: Jessica "Jace" Everett
Gender: female
Orientation: bi
Age: 27
Species: human
Fandom or original: original
Appearance: Average height, athletic build. Jace's appearance varies wildly depending on the situation. Typically, she dresses nondescript, faded dungarees, a plain tee, a worn leather jacket, and boots. However, she has the knack of changing her appearance to suit the needs of the situation; from trailer-trash hot to upscale, she knows the look.
Personality: Jace is a nomad, a grifter, a thief. She takes what she needs, and moves on. She never gets close, and she has trouble doing so. She's friendly enough, however, and easy-going, comfortable in the knowledge that before someone can get close, she'll move on.
Fears\guilt: Jace ran away from home at fourteen, leaving a younger sister with a sexually abusive father. The guilt consumes her, though she never speaks of it. She fears men, especially authority figures, even as she feeds on them.
Strengths: Jace is a tough girl. She's been low. She's been hurt. And she knows how to rise above. She is resourceful and determined.
Weakness: She has a soft spot for children and women who can't defend themselves. Most people have a switch that comes on, a voice that says, "don't open that door," or "don't go in that creepy old house alone." Jace doesn't have that switch. She is endlessly curious.
offs and ons: here and here. Incest, straight bestiality (as opposed to anthros), menses and poo are all hard nos. Do not ask; you already know the answer. As this is a horror game, I maybe be willing to bend on certain non/con scenes and such. PM me the details to find out.

Likes:   Romance movies, horseback riding, late night skinny dipping, running in the early hours of the morning, dancing (badly) when no one is around, singing (badly) at the top of her lungs (both in the shower and when driving alone, or cooking, or whenever the mood strikes) chai tea, blueberries on her cereal, ice cream with brownie bits chocolate covered cherries (delish!) and old black and white movies.
Dislike:    Having to share a bed with her brothers, the phrase “you are the oldest, you must be an example or the others”, underwear that rides up, skinny jeans, peas and raisins (ick), confined places, the dark and the sound of breaking glass, vampires, pompous assholes, people that think it's okay to eat off of her plate.

Fears: Gwen has a recurring dream, or rather nightmare. It begins with the sound of glass smashing, sometimes she is her current age, and other times she is a young baby. But regardless of her age, the rest of the dream remains the same… she is witnessing the death of her parents from within the darkness of a closet (where she was placed by her mother for “safe keeping”).

Each time she has this dream/nightmare, Gwen wakes up up screaming and shaking… having just witnessed in her dreams something or someone taking the life of her parents, leaving their bodies on the ground like empty shells.  As a result, Gwen hates confined places, the dark and the sound of breaking glass, and vampires (nothing about them are sexy, no matter what Hollywood wants to say).

Bio: Gwen’s mother was a great ballet dancer in her time, as was her grandmother and her grandmother’s mother. Gwen’s life had already been plotted out for her while still in utero. She would be another link the the long line of dancers whether she actually wanted to be or not. There simply had been no other option and it had never occurred to Gwen to argue.

However no one had taken into consideration that the girl would be born without a single ounce of talent for dancing. However, she did enjoy smacking the tennis ball to release her tension (again… too many brothers!). It was during one of those battles against the tennis court wall that she was noticed by the local tennis instructor. Gwen joined  the tennis team when she was 11 and met Lilly (her forever best friend). Within a year they had become the best of friends, joined at the hip and rarely seen without each other until Lilly’s untimely death from a car accident.

Heartbroken, Gwen left her family home to visit her grandmother of her father’s side in hope to gain some peace for both her heart and her mind.  Although the accident was not Gwen’s fault as they were hit by a drunk driver, Gwen feels guilty for being able to walk away from the tragic accident with barely a scratch and a broken wrist.

She suffers from bad dreams, one as mentioned above, and now another with Lilly telling her to come with her, encouraging Gwen to take her own life. Unable to shake the nightmares, Gwen has become restless, unwilling to sleep.

Bio on Gwen's family and best friend
Father:   George Gates Jr -  CEO of a major drug company.  Strict with his sons, he has a soft spot for his first child and only daughter. She is his princess. He would do anything for her without a moments hesitation.

Mother: Sylvie Gates - Ex-Ballerina and currently running a ballet dance studio.  She is harder on her daughter than she is on her sons, the complete opposite to Gwen’s father. There is still an underlying disappointment in the lack of dance skills, and it bleeds through other aspects of their relationship. To Gwen, it feels like she can do nothing right for her mother.  Not to mention that it was becoming pregnant with Gwen that killed Sylvie’s dancing career… bitter much?

Brian Gates (age 17) -  Jackass, enjoys loud heavy metal music and smokes a lot of weed.

Daniel Gates (age 15) - Jock - extremely athletic, and a football star in high school

Neil Gates (age 13) -  Heavily into vampires and werewolves and all things monster related

Ryan Gates (age 10) - Smart and sweet, looks up to his sister and misses her terribly

Edith Gates (grandmother on father’s side and resident in the small town Gwen is visiting)  -  Edith is a kind hearted lady living in the same victorian home she had shared with her husband (departed - George Senior) and her three sons, George Jr, Eric, and Jackson.  Each boy has since married and moved away, leaving Edith alone to potter about the large home with only her cats to keep her company.  She is an avid gardener, loves to feed the birds, squirrels and other wildlife.

Helen Nolan (grandmother on mother's side) - Helen lives with her daughter and son-in-law in a luxury in-law suite. She helped to raise the children and holds pretty much the same attitude towards Gwen and Sylvie does.  This is the reason Gwen’s father sent her to HIS mother, so that she would get the care that he knew only she could provide.

Lillian (Lilly) Hunt:  (Deceased best friend)
Lilly had always been, too put it kindly, naive. She was born to a teenage mother (Rosa who was 15 when she gave birth to her daughter) and so, life has always been a struggle. Rosa was thrilled to be a mother at first, that is until the hard work started and the crying began… after all a hungry baby didn’t know that its mother was not capable of handling the responsibility of a newborn without help. And so on her 18th month birthday, Lilly found herself locked in her crib, crying and hungry while her mother lay face down in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor. After which, Lilly was placed in the “system” for approximately two weeks before her Grandmother came to claim her.

There was still not a lot of money, but what there was an abundance of was love and thankfully, food. Lilly lived in a small two bedroom bungalow, and for the most part she was happy. However, like her mother before her, Lilly had dreams. Some might call them pipe dreams, but they were important enough to Lilly to follow. Being chosen for the elite tennis team alongside her best friend Gwen was the start of seeing those dreams coming true…. and then, at her own insistence, the girls took to the town to celebrate. It was coming home from that very happy time that they were struck by a drunk driver, leaving Lilly (the driver) dead at the scene.

Strengths:  Gwen can be stubborn, with a steely determination. She is used to helping out in a big family, so she isn’t afraid of hard work.

Weakness: Gwen has a fear of failing. She is rather vulnerable and can be easily lead.

offs and ons: She doesn’t have much sexual experience, and what she has had wasn’t exactly ground shattering. Frankly, Gwen doesn’t see what the big deal is.

(as for the writer,  I do not do incest, or anything to do with bathroom habits or animals. Other than that I can be reasonable if it blends well with the situation, I suggest you PM me if you are interested in something.  Do to the nature of the game, I am also not against Non-Con, but would rather not have my character physically scared or damaged.)

I like your write-ups, Loves. You have an interesting character there.

Thanks :)   I've been waiting to use her for some time now.

QuoteSince it's looking to be sort of sandboxy erotic horror would my survival-horroresque character even work? I'm thinking someone that would be sort of the town troublemaker. The only one running into the mist when everyone else is running away from it. Someone who knows a lot of the towns dirty secrets and is probably not too popular because he's making a concerted effort to find out what's going on. Perhaps someone descended from the local native tribe.

Given its semi sand box nature, survival horror can be added in since it fits with in the game world.

Loves, since our character likes horse back riding, I can add in a stable near Rosewater park. Its a massive, massive park with much of it undeveloped so horse back ridding trails won't be out of the question.

That would be awesome :)

Withdrawing interest. I just can't make a character come alive for this one.

RegretNot

I would be interested in this setting, the question is if this universe exists there has to be other occurrences.  I was thinking of the idea of a occultist who has been here before and tried hard to find the way to stop this horror, when it got to real he beat feet with his group.  He tried not to think about it but it bothered him that one day when he was driving on a small country road he was lost in thought about it, when he looks up he realizes he is at the outskirts of the town.  States divided him and Cold Creek and now he lacks a team or hardly any tools of his trade now trapped because of his guilt of not fixing the place when he left.

Its a pretty open universe. I'm even pulling in one of my FNaF characters though she's both a head canon and an AU, there were never any child murders or anything in the verse she comes from .

Basically your character is from else where that has Silent Hill occurrences and was pull ed through the mists Ravenloft style and transported to Cold Creek? Sure
