Pokemon tournoment. Interest check and character sheet.

The biggest pokemon tournement in the world is held every ten years, due to the amount of planning and preparing needed into creating the venue and setting up special battle grounds. This decade the venue is in Sinnoh and has been built towering over the pal park. (from the game) Only trainers who have defeated at least one set of elite four may enter the tournoment and with only two pokemon each. The tournoment lasts for the year giving the competetors time to train and relax between battles. There is also the contest arena for the performers of the pokemon world.

Name: Amy Summers
Age: 22
Personality: Like the Pokemon that she trains Amy has a fiery spirit and a hot temper. Stern yet compassionate she cares about her friends and puts there well being above her own. She is kind and caring but also has a fierce anger deep in her that at times flares forcing her to lash out at the people around her.   
Bio: ever sense she was a child Amy wanted to raise Pokemon. Dreaming of being the worlds greatest trainer she set out on her quest the day she turned 16. Without formal training, searching for Pokemon with the knowledge she read in manuals she ventured to deep in to the wilds around her village and was attacked by a wild Ekans and nearly poisoned by its deadly  bite. Leaping to her aid was a small Growlithe the Pokemon battled the wild ekans away turning its attention on the young girl. Certain of another attack she watched with amazement as the Growlithe sat before her and allowed the girl to tap the pokeball against its head becoming her very first captured Pokemon.
Through the years the two battled hundreds of opponents and eventually moved up the ranks and earned there walk through the Indigo Plateau to battle the Elite four. Her Grtowlithe now an Arcanine that she affectionately calls Aduro she combated the Elite Four and defeated therm in a blaze of glory. Her glory would be short lived.
After her victory she was invite to the Pokemon competition in  Johto she would be force to decline the invitation. Having to go back to her fathers cattle ranch when he fell ill she and her Aduro have all but given up on her dreams of becoming the greatest fire Pokemon Trainer in the world.
Appearance: Amy is 5'2" and weighs 126lbs. Dark brown hair and light blue eyes add to her already handsome features. Her attire is plane and void of most large logos. Wearing  jeans, a dark red shirt, black boots and a red and yellow backpack. She favors lose hair styles and lets her hair hang down has much as she can.

I am certainly interested, but I'm just worried that it won't be much of a tournament with only three people.

If needs be we can start with everyone signing up for the tournoment and having test battles to leave time for more people to join in. Or if no one is interested skip to the finals.

Ok, other question, how do we do battle? How do we decide whether an attack hits without godmodding? who determines how much a pokemon can take before fainting?

we can either use dice rolls or just rp as normal, then I wil announce a winner, we could also use a point system, say first to five hits wins the round.
