Final Fantasy: Legend Academy

Thinking of setting up a role play where you take on the role of a student or teacher at an academy where everyone's learning to become one of the legendary classes from the final fantasy series, with a great deal of conflict between rival houses (dark knights vs paladins, dark knights and dragoons, black mages and white mages, summoners and beastmasters etc). I'm also thinking of having a few true evil characters and some form of overarching story. This is just so I can find other interested people and hear any suggestions for classes to include and events within the school.

Did this ever get off the ground at all? And what did you have in the way of like setting ideas? Old school fantasy type stuff? Kind of a steampunk thing like some of the later games? I'm just kind of curious.
