If anyone thinks that eating chicken is no different than killing a baby seal
than I don't know what to say to that. When killing a chicken it is fast and painless,
a snap of the neck. Clubbing a baby seal is vicious and cruel and the person who does
it should be clubbed to see how it feels. And I do mean clubbed to DEATH. (See how you

In general the chicken you eat is a chick on too much growth hormones, which barely has reached adulthood. Next to that, chicken held in pens are mostly affected by parasites among which blood sucking mites which in vast amounts can cause severe itches, anemia, or yeah.. and death...

So far for the happy chicken.

I'm sure you are correct about the way some chickens are treated badly as are all animals. But I find in free range chickens no hormones are used and no cruelty. How could clubbing a baby seal for its pelt be compared to killing a chicken for food. The thought that one would even compare the two is repulsive. I realize that you are not a member of this group so PM's are not an option but a little friendly advice. Please refrain from discussing animal cruelty or deaths in public threads.

Nope, I wear glasses often when online and at the movies.  I've been told I'm cute in them often enough that it doesn't bother me at all to wear them.  You'll look very handsome in yours - I'm sure.
