So...what does one get a coworker one knows little of? Rule is to keep it under $25...we're doing a little "Secret Holiday Gift" thing as "Secret Santa" is not PC anymore.

I've only been here a little over a week, and we pick names out of a hat on friday. Chances are (based on M:F Ration) i'll have to get a guy a gift. I'll be happier if i have to get a girl a gift (esp. if i pick one particular coworker ;) ) but wouldn't know what to get either.

Depends largely on the coworker, but I'd say something fun and kind of goofy/random or something pretty... like wandering around online I found this company that sells blossoming teas - you steep it in a clear coffeepot, and as it steeps the tea bundle unfolds into this really pretty flora-esque type thing.

Heh. Nah, I just came to think of a silly song from SNL with Justin Timberlake, about the only thing that was funny in that awfull show.

Well we did this at work I told them I don't celebrate that way and I only buy gifts for immediate family and then its one small item I spend all year getting, something special.

Ok a gift idea how about a gift card to a movie theater or something its gender neutral.

Potpourri is always a nice gift

Also, I have seen beautiful decorative jars that have the ingredients for making cookies or brownies arranged beautifully inside them, and I think this would also make a good gift

Giftcards are ok.

Course, there's always pre-paid dinner cruises.
