This is probably the end, but the Regent role can make all the difference when numbers are tied, so we'll play out one more round of lynch votes and see what happens.  :)

In the meantime, we have ten names for the next game!  One or two more can still sneak in, but twelve will be it.  Shall we stick with the Castle, or would you prefer another setting?  Options include 1920's bootleggers, pirates, witches, and ancient Romans.

I'd like to stay with the setting, but that's because I didn't get a chance to last very long.
But, really, any of those settings are fine with me.  I know you'll make it fun, Val, and I look forward to more historical facts!

Remiel

Also, I'd like to see what happens if we limit the roles to no more than three Rebels, a Guardian, and possibly a Historian.  This will, admittedly, make it harder for the rebels, but I think it will make the game more fun overall.

That's just my opinion, of course.

Valerian

I personally really like both the Guardian and Seer type roles, so you'll almost certainly be stuck with those, at least, no matter the setting.  Heh.

If we do go with ten players, though, it will only be three villains, as that's the suggested ratio.

Masks off, everyone!

The councilors had such bad luck early on, and were never really able to recover.  :(  But I hope everyone had fun, just the same.

I had a blast and can't wait until the next go around. Thanks to everyone for such fun and a big Thanks to Valerian for arranging all of this for us.

Hugs everyone

You're very welcome.  And I'm plotting the next game already.  *cackles manically*

Um, I mean, it should be fun.   ;D

Remiel

For the record, I really have no idea who the rebels were.

Then again, I really wasn't paying that much attention, since I didn't have a vested interest...

Valerian

The Historian (Elandra) just couldn't catch a break.  First she checks on Remiel -- he gets killed by the rebels.  She checks on LadySky -- she's a Rebel, so can't be trusted.  By the time she finally found a councilor she could work with (Caeli), it was pretty much too late already.

But kudos to the Alchemist for such a good catch on LadySky!  That was impressive.  :)

Luck was with us scoundrels on this one.  *smiles*  Good game everybody.  I am looking forward to the next.

Valerian

The intro for the next round is up, for those who want to peek ahead.  :)  I'm afraid I had way too much fun turning everything on its head.  Heh.

That was a lot of fun, if not at times boggling.  ;)  -Waves her Alchemist flag.-

That's the first time I've managed not to get killed in the first few rounds! Yay! Go me! LOL

That was fun, even though the last couple of rounds were slow - looking forward to the next one...

You rock, Val!

Getting killed by the alchemist was so cool!  :P

I'm heading to find the intro for the next round! *runs away cackling like Val*

LadySky

 :o Wow.....Great intro Val!

Now I'm really excited!

Good, I'm glad everyone likes the look of it.   ;D  The idea actually popped into my head while I was working on something else entirely, and the more I pondered it, the more I liked it.

Anyway, I'm tentatively planning a Monday launch, unless that's a problem for anyone.  We'll have the Weaponsmaster and the Historian; and the Regent angle seemed to work well, also, so I'll probably keep that.  It's just so appropriate for the setting.

The Alchemist and the Healer, while both very interesting roles, were mainly added because of the size of the previous group.  This time I'm trying for a more streamlined game; so while I'm sure I'll use those roles again at some point, for this one I'm planning to keep things simpler.

So, most likely, we'll have three Rebels, one Weaponsmaster, one Historian, and five Councilors.  Next time I might get fancier, but this time we'll try something like Remiel's back to basics approach.   :D

Good one Val and thank-you.  Moirae catching out LadySky was quite something.  I do think that we Rebels had a few lucky breaks during the opening rounds.  I'll polish up my dagger for the next round.  It seems a tad tarnished and blunted from all the work it has been put to.  lol

Look forward to the next.

And don't you just love the list of characters?  Everyone one as honest and trustworthy as the day is long.   :P
