Divine Intervention (Angel / Future)

Two human ambassadors have been placed on a newly discovered planet full of sentient life. Things where going alright with lengthy meetings to discuss trade routs and interplanetary travel as well as a human embassy and a McDonalds or two when violence suddenly erupted all around them, apparently a civil war decided to start on the planet that engulfed the capital city.

The two humans where evacuated with the rest of the higher ups into a mobile bunker where they received light survival training and gear as well as some weapons, personal shields and breathing devices. The two of them are forced to attempt to survive after the mobile bunker comes to a stop and they are left to fend for themselves. As they pray to the divine to send them protection four angels are chosen and assigned to watch over and protect them until they are rescued by a human transport.

Each of the angels represents a different factor that will effect the humans and they must follow and help the two people as they progress without being seen heard or felt, whatever the two humans do the angels must participate in order to maintain the connection and continue helping as ordered.

I would like there to be an even amount of males and females but each angel can be ether gender as long as we have a counterpart for them.

Can you explain a bit more on how the angels work...maybe it's the lack of sleep but it isn't clicking. Say...the human has sex they have to have sex with each other or the human to stay connected...??

in order to keep connection they must do as the humans are doing so if one human is having sex than two of the angels must engage in sexual intercourse to keep the connection going. If the two humans decide to bed each other than the four angels must do the same. if one human attempts to start a fire while the other moves to find water then two angels move off to help find water while the other two remain to help make the fire.

The male of the species is the less dominant and the female is much stronger despite the submissive look. The males will battle against the females in order to determine worthiness to mate and one female is known to mate with several males within her life time. To control the population a female is only allowed to produce a fertilized egg once in a life time now, the eggs are carried by the males within an internal pouch and not removed until the child is born.
