Hello Glitch!

Any ideas on what you want to roleplay about?

Glitch

Not the foggiest actually my friend! I apologize if I am unhelpful. But I will go along with whatever you choose.

Corbin

Ah, it's okay.

Uhmm, do you like the Game of Thrones? The Hunger Games? American Horror Story?

Or do you want to come up with an original idea together?

Glitch

I love all three of those things! For purposes of passing time until our coveted entrance into the gates of membership, I think we should stick to one of those. Quick and easy.

Corbin

I think I have a new friend! :D

Also, I have a great Queen character for the Game of Thrones, so may we go with that?

Glitch

Certainly, I do not have a character but can quickly create one if in given just a few minutes. But yes, Game of Thrones sounds good.

Corbin

Name: Queen Welda Lannister.

Age: 35.

Location: King's Landing.

Appearance:

Personality: She may come off as a bitch but she is kind-hearted and calm towards most people. To sum her up, she can either be your best friend or your worst nightmare. Choose one, fast.

Brief History: Her husband, King Jeremy, died in War and she mourned his death for a whole year. She refused to get married again and refused to allow anyone to sit their asses on the Iron Throne.

I know that this is very brief, don't want to give away too much. :)

Glitch

Name: Corden Snow

Age: 27

Location: Currently kings landing.

Appearance: He stands no taller then 5"8 with straight, cropped short pitch black hair and chocolate brown eyes. He usual wears a light set of leather ringed mail and a long sword on his hip.

Brief history: Born a bastard child of the north, Corden left out on his own as soon as he could afford a sword on his hip. His life has been a bloody path since, he grew very used to staining his once clean hands. Mercenary work suited him fine, but his hunger for more never allowed him to settle down. His travels have set his feet on the sunny streets of kings landing now. Previously in his life politics had never interested him, but now in the city of the throne, he foresaw streets flooded with new opportunities.

(I'll try to find a suitable picture later.)

Corbin

Nice. And no need to find a pic, your description was good enough. :)

So, want me to start?

Also, how many paragraphs do you post?

Glitch

Depends on the situation, usually in a one on one I throw up singles, occasionally a half. If you want some more however I am more then capable. You set the tempo I'll follow pace sweetroll.

Welda was on her knees in the Throne room, staring up at the Iron Throne, shaking her head.

She couldn't believe that her husband had died in battle. She sometimes wish that the war had never happened and wish she could turn back the time, to push him out of the way of the sword that swung and stuck him down. She sighed and tears started running down her cheeks as a guard came to her aid but she pushed him off. "Get off of me!" She screamed. Welda stumbled up to her feet as her head maiden came to her and turned her away from the Iron Throne. "Come dear. You shouldn't be doing this to yourself." Her head maiden said while escorting her out of the room, the guards following behind them. She continued crying as she straightened herself up and sniffled. "Thank you, Lena. I thank you for being by side, during everything." She said while holding her hand maiden hands. "Draw me a bath, Lena. Come to the garden and get me when it is drawn, please." With that said, Lena nodded her head and went to do as she was told.

Welda walked to the garden, unarmed and unguarded, she wasn't really worried though since guards usually walked among King's Landing anyway. She sat down on one of the small chairs and looked out at the garden, remembering when King Jeremy and her first came out here. It was a warm, bright sunny day, not a single cloud was in the sky. He wasn't wearing his King garments, he was wearing something free worthy and she was dressed the same. It was something different for them both and she absolutely enjoyed it. Welda stopped thinking about it as she fixing to start crying away.

Her ears twitched as she gasped, her footsteps approaching but inhaled with relief when she saw that it was a guard. With her being a widow now and the Iron Throne still unguarded, she really had to watch her back and trust anyone. Her blue eyes peered upward towards the beautiful sky as she brought them back down to the Roses. She got up from her seat and sniffed them, smiling as she remembered that Jeremy had handed her one and she kept it with her every since. Welda had picked a rose from the bush and placed it in her hair and she sat down on the ground, her back against the rose bush.

How long had he been a part of these jokes of guardsmen? Six months maybe, and already he was here, walking through the halls and gardens of Kings Landing. It was pathetic how weak it all seemed at it's base, and he thought it strange how no one had attempted to kill the queen as of yet. Or perhaps there had been many attempts and her kings guard were more effective then he had given them credit for.

His thoughts snapped back as he strolled through the garden, there she was, just sitting there alone. The beauty that stared into the distance took him off guard. This was the first time he had ever seen her so close and unguarded. He chuckled at that thought, realizing he was the guard. He walked towards her and was about to speak, then halted for a moment, attempting to remember his place.

"My liege, does something trouble you?" He asked, bowing his head slightly on approach. He wore no helmet nor shield. Keeping his cold grin hidden for now. Not every day did a man get a moment alone with a queen, he was to be careful, and respectful, or he may loose his head. She was wounded in her heart he thought.

Her eyes rolled over towards the gentleman that had approached her as she shrugged her shoulders while turning away from him. "It's nothing. You wouldn't understand." She said while lowering her head then snapped her gaze back towards the guard. "Where is your helmet?" She questioned him with a raised brow. "Are you an assassin?" She asked nervously, biting her bottom lip as she was getting a little scared. "Go ahead and do your worst, many people have already tried but maybe it is indeed time for me now." Welda said sadly while closing her eyes though keeping one open. "Well, get on with it." She said but kind of felt that he wasn't an assassin at all. "Oh, your one of King's Landing guards." She got up to her feet and brushed herself off. "Next time I see you without your helmet, I'll make sure you never guard again. Understand?" She looked at him with piercing, cold eyes while waiting for his response. She was wounded but not physically, only emotionally. "Your bath is drawn, my lady." Lena, her head maiden, came out and said. "I'll be there in a moment." Welda responded. Lena nodded her head and scurried off. "Now, back to you. Are you a new guard or something?" She asked him with a raised brow.

Now his cold grin appeared, she was clearly thinking the same things about the danger to her life that he was. He maintained a light bow and spoke. "My liege, I am apologetic about the misunderstanding, but how am I to protect you if I cannot see my own flanks?" He looked up from his bow and into her ice blue eyes. "Alas, it will not happen again if you command it."  He stood straight up now, his hands behind his back respectfully. "Yes my queen, I am new, and I am the best swordsman on your guard." His smile persisted still. "No assasins for your life on my watch my liege, not even while you bathe."  His eyes moved slowly from her to the roses behind her, he seemed to be brewing deeply in thought for a moment.
Nature did not teach you to fail. Society did.

Corbin

"Of course I command it!"

She snapped while listening further to his words, thinking of a plot in her head. She saw that he was becoming deep in thought then stared at him while speaking. "Since you are the best swordsman on the guard. Prove it." She raised her hand up in front of her face and snapped her fingers. Next thing she knew, about six guards came out and stood behind the new guard. "This man thinks he is better than all of you. Prove him wrong then bring me his head." She smirked while walking closer to him and getting on her tippy toes, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Such a shame, I don't even know your name." Welda continued smirking then walked past him as the guards unsheathed their swords. She walked towards her room and got undressed then slipped into the bath, which was drawn for her. She bathed herself off then got out and walked into her room.

Welda saw the night gown that Lena had laid out for her and smiled while changing into the gown. Neither of the guards brought the head of the new guard just yet and she wondered why but wasn't really going to bother herself with it. Welda got in her bed and underneath the covers, snuggling them over her as she waited for the guards to bring her the head of the new guard - Whatever his name is.

Glitch

How ruthless the queen was, six on one all for a helmet. It must be the new gods letting him know he was not cut out to be a guardsman. She leaned close and kissed him on the cheek, he breathed deep the smell of her, and then she strolled away. He quickly drew his sword and the six guards fell in a circle around him. The leader of the guards chuckled at him and spoke. "No shield Snow?"

Slowly he took up a fighting stance and kept his smile.

" I find they just get in the way. "

Five minutes passed before the queen received a knock on her chamber door, but before she could respond the door opened and in walked the unnamed guard, covered in dirt and blood, holding in his left hand the severed head of the leader of the six. "My liege, your loyal men proved wanting. . . Would you happen to have some more hiding in here somewhere?" He dropped the head unto the ground and his wicked smile returned. "How could I die after a kiss from royalty?" He sheathed his sword and took a bow. "My name is Corden Snow, have I now proven my worth?" He looked up and deeply into her eyes, his smile gone.
Nature did not teach you to fail. Society did.

She jumped slightly when a knock came over her door as she stirred in the bed. Welda was fixing to get out of her bed and go to the door to open it but the person behind the door came barging in. "Guard!" She called out and about two guards came in after the other, who had just dropped the head on the floor. She waved the other guards away and slipped out of bed, kneeling down beside the head. "I could have you killed for this." She said while staring up at him then back at the head while getting back up to her feet. Welda looked at the male as he bowed before her then folded her arms over her chest. "Snow? You're a bastard son?" She chuckled while gliding back over to her bed, laying down stomach, watching him closely.

"So, tell me, why you demand respect from me so much?" She asked him. Her blue eyes staring back into his. "You are the first to ever do this." She lifted herself up from the bed to sit down on the edge of the bed, still watching him closely. "Now, I need to find a leader for the guards." She said with a soft sigh while placing her hand on the top of her head. "I can't believe six of my best guards, mutilated and killed." Welda sighed again then looked up at the male.

"I think I found the new leader. Do you accept?" She asked him while waving her hand dismissively towards him.

This was a huge offer than no one could ever refuse.
