User list duplicates

I've never seen it happen before today but one of my friends is showing up twice on the user list.

GypsyRose is listed on the 1st and 6th rows.

I figure it might be some kind of error.

I've seen something like this happen before.  I recall asking an Oracle about it and they said it was a possible IP address error or something?  Don't quote me on this because the last time I saw something like that was about 4-5 months ago or so.

Database isn't normalized, so you might end up with multiple session entries for a number of reasons.

It's a bug, but doesn't harm anything.

Can it be caused by having different parts of site open in multiple brower windows or tabs?

It doesn't normally.

The world just needed more Gypsy.lol But I have had that happen before if I had a browser open on more than one computer.(i have a desk top and laptop)

It occurs because you have multiple active sessions for one reason or another. Multiple browser tabs won't cause this, but logging in from multiple browsers or devices can. Because of the way sessions work, it can also happen on a single device.

It happens more often than we notice we just don't catch it.  Usually if you refesh the screen a moment or two later is goes away; not always, but most of the time. :-)
