I've had an idea for a game, and, want to gauge interest.

"It began with Snow White's Victory over the Evil Queen. That should have been that, peace and happiness should have returned to the realm, but, it didn't. Snow took the Queens heart and consumed it, stealing her power for herself, and fused the body of the queen with her mirror, creating something...else. The sun turned blood red and corruption soon flowed through the entire Enchanted forest and all the lands of story. Snow became a wicked ruler, with a thirst for blood and power. THe tree's changed, becoming black, twisted things, sometimes bleeding...sometimes flowing with latex.

Over the years, chaos and evil has ruled.

But, this story isn't about a mighty hero, rising up and smiting the queen, some have tried, some have even come close. But none have succeeded. No, this is about other storybook characters, bucking for power and privilage in the court of the blood red queen, Rumor is used like a weapon, and pain and pleasure are the coin of the realm...."

Understanding the court

The Court of the Vampire queen (sometimes known as the court of the black rose) is dominated by the Queens Laws. The three laws are as such.

1. All of the court shall be dressed fashionably. Clothing shall be Flattering, Fashionable and Fetish. Nudity is by permission of the queen, or, by slaves and pets alone (who shall wear collars).

2. Red may only be worn by those with the favor of the queen, for it is her color.

3. Any blood shed (weather for pleasure or pain) shall be offered to the queen as her due.

I would imagine most of the game will be done in the queens castle, if not in the true court itself, but, lets see what happens


Okay, that's it. Obviously, the only fairy tale character off the table is Snow herself, Any fairytale characters (no matter how obscure, but, for the sexual aspect, they must be adults please) others, lets see a dark and twisted version.

More details will be added if we have some interest.

"It has been ten glorious years of the queens rule and her armies have recently claimed another holding, in the lands of Avalon, a land renowned for it's magic and beautiful minerals and jewels. Rumor has it, the queen will present the holdings during the celebration for her century of rule in several weeks time, as well as her favour and maybe a noble rank. Now is a perfect time to increase your power, holdings and influence within the realm, of course, you have to convince the queen and not one of your rivals...."

Okay, so, scheming, politicing, rumormongering, let battle commence!

Name: Merida
Tale: Once the proud older daughter and heir to DunBroch, Merida has been relegated to that of nothing more than a courtier in <A ROYALS COURT>(any really) When Queen Snow White claimed the land. However, this did change in position did not change her personality. Even in her lesser position, and no longer holding the title of "princess", Merida strives to regain her position but further still - she has begun to crave more power. She is even willing to do whatever is necessary to do so. Using her wiles, charms and looks however she can with such subtly few, if any, would suspect her.

Name: Captain James Hook
Tale: As much as the corruption of the lands was a curse for many, it was none the less a boon for others. Captain James Hook was one who could be counted among the latter. The effects that the corruption had on Neverland were subtle yet also profound. Gone were the games of the Lost Boys, stealing Hook's hat, flinging eggs and paint at the pirates. In their place was a true battle for control of Neverland, fought with the pistol and the blade. The climax of which took place on deck of The Jolly Roger itself. It was under the light of the red sun that the feud between Captain Hook and The Great Pan finally came to its end. The two crossed blades, and barbed words, one last time in a duel for the ages. Bolstered by the magic of his pet fairy, and the loving belief of a now older Wendy Bird, Peter was as strong as he had ever been. Back and forth two icons clashed. Until finally with a well timed parry Hook was able to get his blade past Peter's guard and run the young man though. With his quest for revenge finally fulfilled James set out to leave Neverland. Curious to see what had become of the greater kingdoms in his long absence.

In the years since he has made his life as a privateer in service to Queen Snow's ever growing kingdom. Always quenching his thirst for adventure by sailing out beyond the queen's boarders only to later return with tales, treasure, and captives from far off lands still waiting the touch of the Vampire Queen.

Jack the Giant-Killer would make an interesting character, but I'm also strongly tempted to do something with the Pied Piper of Hamlin and his hypnotic musical skills. Leaning towards Jack right now though.

I hear you Sidhe, and if you don't like it feel free to shoot him down after I make my case. While yes he is a Greek god, Greek gods are Greek myths which are essentially the original fairytales. Now I'm not interested in making a "god" character, that's why my interpretation of the gods from Greek mythology is that they actually get their power and "god status" from the humans that worship them, so when they stop the gods essentially fade away. Hades is sort of the exception to that because his position is almost more of a curse than anything and people generally didn't worship him before they stopped believing in the other gods, which puts him in a good place to finally come back and try to shmooze his way into power with the new queen.

Once again, though, I won't be devistated if you don't like him.


Name: Hades
Tale: Since last he ascended from the pits of the underworld to take over mount Olympus just to be thoroughly humiliated and sent back to the pit where he ruled, Hades had resigned himself to being content being locked down in the darkness. Of course one could only be satisfied to watch over the spiraling void of lost souls for so many centuries before one becomes the tiniest bit stir crazy.

But of course while life, so to speak, stayed the same in the underworld, life on earth continued to change. The world was growing darker, more savage, and the heroes that held their heads high in the sun began to fall into Hades ever lasting home. It was when the golden sun took on the color of the fruit that grew so plentiful in his realm of the dead that the Lord of the Underworld decided to once again step foot on the surface to see what this new dark world held in store for him.

Since the rise of the new dark queen the people of earth who once prayed to his brothers and sisters had grown bitter and uncaring, having given up on their gods the only true power left was that of the queen.
Without the worship of the humans, the gods of Olympus withered away until they and the glory of their realm was nothing more than a debatable story. Leaving Hades without the persecution of his siblings to keep him down in the dark. Now the whole world was dark and no better time for lord of the underworld to rub elbows with the new rulers of the world.

Prefered weapon words are this god's weapon of choice, though he isn't above a concealed dagger or bit of poison when the occasion calls for it.
Magic Will often have blue flames on or around him, this is mostly for show as it isn't hot to the touch. Can apparate to and from the underworld along with various unearthly lackeys. Though he can't kill any mortals himself, such things are for the Fates to decide.

How would you handle pre-existing relationships?  Like, what if I wanted Jasmine and someone else wanted Aladdin?

Mostly, I'd want the players to work out the mutual aspects of the characters. The pre-existing relationship is a big peice of a character, and I'll be honest,if you can't work together (as players) to work out the characters, then I'd prefer you play seperate characters.
