So I came across this Social Attitude Test while on Facebook.  A friend of mine had posted her results, and since I didn't have anything else to occupy my time I figured I'd give it a try and see what showed up.  It doesn't seem to be associated with any university or research group that I could find, so I doubt that the results are all that rigorously defined.  Still, it does ask some interesting questions and makes you think about what your opinions are on certain topics.

Yeah, I think this reflects my personal attitudes pretty well. I believe in private ownership, free markets, and collective bargaining, generally think people are their own worst enemy, but everyone should have the freedom to do whatever they want, whenever they want.

I'm assuming that this test is to be taken from the point of view of an American? Some of the questions could be answered in a variety of ways based on the country that you live in, I think. (I found it slightly confusing as a Canadian, so I just answered as if I was an American.. which most likely skewed the results somewhat.)

Worth noting: I am very highly skeptical of this test's claims of superiority or a lack of ideological motivation. It's based on a book published in 1954 (what's wrong with the last 60 years of psychologial research?), which was in turn based on discredited and racist theories. Eysenck is mostly notable these days for having been a paid smoking-cancer denialist, so I don't trust his research to be free of motivated thinking, either.
