A Hero Rises

The year is 2,300 AD and the world has changed. In Falcon City, known as the zenith of the Great Revolution, the population has underwent a change. People began to develop powers, the ability to fly, create forcefields, heat rat, you name it and Falcon City has it. The world thought Humanity had entered a new golden age, a world devoid of crime overseen by these awe inspiring guardians. These Heroes where raised as pinnacles of the human condition, almost worshipped as Gods.

But that got old. Fast.

As the population of the Supers rose, the amount of crime began to dwindle. In an age of instant media, with news at a touch of a button, soon only the most charismatic, interesting and beautiful Heroes where being followed by the press. In a few short decades, the position of Superhero was a fame game. Supers had their own TV Shows, PR's, agents and clothing lines.

Yet what to do with all the unemployed Heroes, now surplus to requirements? Some where flipping burgers at HappyFoods to make ends meet, while others decided a life of crime was preferable to a dull life of anonymity.

Skye High, a somewhat established Hero is struggling to break further into the market. Yet Skye has noticed something, who where the most famous Superheroes? Mr and Mrs Incredible, Ice and Fire, Sugar and Spice, what did they all have in common? They where couples, the citizens of Falcon City loved nothing more than seeing a love story unfold on their screens. Skye needs a love interest, and fast. Question is, who is it going to be?

This is an idea that has been floating around in my head for a while and there is a lot of room for potential partners. If you prefer a submissive character, your partner could be a weak sidekick that needs to be saved by Skye, or if a more dominant streak is in you then perhaps a conniving Hero that wants Skye to do exactly as he says otherwise he will go running to the media about their so-called "romance."

Or we could simply have a traditional romance, with a fame-hungry male who also needs a love interest, and watch as their relationship goes from a manufactured romance for the cameras to something real.

If interested in any of the scenarios, or indeed you have an idea yourself, please PM me.
