Ignore list

Hey I'm just wondering, while I'm sure the ignore list allows you to ignore a member, does it also stop them from seeing your posts and the like? Or is it only that you can't see their posts/messages?

It blocks their posts so you can't see them and PMs they may sent to you.  They can still see your posts but their replies to them, if any, are invisible to you.

Though I think there is a button you can push to view them anyway.

You'll see that they posted in threads, but the text of the post will read:  'You are ignoring this user. Show me the post.' <--Not a real link here.

If you click on 'Show me the post' in the thread, it will display their post.  It's a handy 'second chance' to not read the post.  And as BeMi said, if they try to PM you, they get a message that they can't.
