Laughing Hyena

I had the most fun running my own custom world and I would like to try again and give new players the chance to run through the game. I do hope I can live up to the expectations paced upon me by reopening the campaign but I believe I have the time needed to make this work. So with that said let us get down to business with the summary of our backdrop and the proverbial spin.

Tainted Blades

The small Kingdom of Edenia, is the cornerstone of the western trade routes. Selling spices, food and wine the world over they are a valuable hub for the rest of the known world. However rumors arise of a ravaging horde of bandits whom have taken it upon themselves to ransack the farms and hamlets that make up much of the kingdoms valued resources stealing everything in their wake, leaving all whom are unfortunate enough to cross their path slain. They come from the western woods of Summershore and the towering heights of Daroth Craig bringing swift ruin upon Edenia.

At first the outer kingdoms such as the river-faring city state of Evermeet, did not think much of it and looked forward to a new shipment. However during these last few months the shipments ceased coming altogether. Evermeet being a self sustaining battery has suffered the least of these events other than a spike in the costs of wine and spices. But mere costal hamlets that are near Edenia such as the elven settlements along the Throat, owned by the Widowed Duchess have. Many of them have been succumbing to starvation or malnutrition due to the fruit shipments stopping and the trade routes of fresh food being cut off.

It was at this point a call to action took place within Edenia summons its best and brightest soldiers of the time to repel these bandits from the edges of their kingdom, liberate the villages and towns being assailed and save their kingdom. For weeks they received no word until upon one night, their horses returned spurred on by leather prongs. Unfortunately their bodies were being dragged behind them. Stripped of possessions and with their heads missing and bodies tampered with to make it so they cannot be resurrected.

The news spread rapidly as the black death. The proclaimed champions of Edenia and the surrounding kingdoms have fallen in battle. This comes at the cusp of the ill news that Fort Darkoth is under attack by the raiders now emboldened by their success. With all hope falling within Edenia, the time has come. The forces of darkness are on the rise and good men and women fall prey to the strong. There is yet still a small sliver of hope even in such black times. In the wake of these series of events, will brave souls answer the call of adventure, and rise as heroes of the kingdom?

The Character Creation Rules are based around the Pathfinder setup.

Item 1 - I am handing out a set of ability scores rather than rolling. Which are 16, 16, 14, 12, 10, and 8. Which allows a fairly decent mixture of scores and gives at least one drawback.

Item 2 - The starting level is 2 because I would prefer the heroes to have some measure of strength behind them so they don't keel over from a single sword strike. For the start of this, HP is maxed out. Which should give people some measure of survival.

Item 3 - However I shall not permit magical weapons or such. You will all start with the basic starting equipment as you would at 1st level.

Item 4 - No evil alignments permitted by the story or by the GM. No exceptions to that rule.

Item 5 - The last thing to consider and most important of all. For those that show interest, please know that this is going into the NC - Exotic Systems thread to cover the bases of what potentially ill fates could occur. Whilst there may be blood and violence, understand that there shall not be anything sexual regarding it, so Guro fans shall have to look elsewhere.

With that said, I now point down to the character sheet outline and if people wish, they can ask for a sheet template here rather than using myth weavers in light of the mishap they had.

I'll take the best characters in my perspective. But I think we all keep the party number to 5 ^_^

PS - The Rule of Background Skills is allowed since it furthers character development.

Chulanowa

I've got some ideas for this. Some of them are kinda dumb (A wyvaran pyrokineticist? Really Chula what AM I thinking?!) but I'm sure not all of them are.  ;D

TFcommando

I still have my "brazen sorceress who is secretly a noble adventuring to indulge impulses she can't a back home."  Blasty, with fire elemental bloodline.

Or a regular magus or kensai magus, following sword and spell lore wherever it leads... pretty much a huge nerd!

Any of them might have a bent towards exhibitionism or even nudism, if not too disruptive (or if the setting's not too cold).

Laughing Hyena

It is not disruptive but I do encourage some measure of sticking to some of the lore. Or expanding upon it at least.

In short - justify it if you can. I love justified tropes.

Muse

I have two characters coming your way.  The first is an elf wizard.  The second--which I'll need more time to finish, is an ifrit summoner.  You can choose which you'd rather have:

Brief History:
The Foamflower Family are an anchient and proud line known as wizards, pearl divers, jewlers, and enchanters.
Meresiel lead a soft and privliged life in many ways, but was never lazy.  She threw herself happily into her studdies, learning much of magic, natural history, and the jeweler's trade.  She dove for pearls and sparred with her brother and cousins.
Despite these traits, few atributed strength of arms, will, or character to the young woman with her wimsical outfits and time spent lying on the beach until the day, last summer, when a grindylow clan attacked the region.  Meresiel gathered the children and adolescents on the beach, hid them all in a house, and held the door against the grindilows for several minutes.
Then, when as the raid ended, she took some scrolls from her family's emergency supply and lead four local boys to the grindylow's island to rescue her the girls they'd captured.

Appearance:  See image.  Along with an array of outragous and revealing robes and gowns, she weas a pair of pearl earrings she made herself and keeps a long knife with a mother of pearl handle gartered to her right hip.

Brief History:
The fire has been in my family's blood for a long time.  Grandmother says her great grandmother was a wizard's maid, and a pair of handsome little elemental imps called Mephits had their way with her.
Mother tried to make out she was seduced, but based on the wicked dance in granny's eyes, I think they ravished her beautiuflly.
Every generation or so since, a wild harded lad or lass blessed with fire magic has sprung out of our family.  My twin brother was like that.
   Me?
   I'm diferent.
I mean, you don't have to look any further than the skin to see that, right?  Like burnished brass, and shimers like flames where the sun strikes it.  Go on, take my hand.  I'm not emberassed.  My body is about 13 degrees hotter than yours, too.
Dad was a village blacksmith.  Mom was a normal enough country homemaker.  She's the one who taught me to cook.  Kyle--that's my brother--discovered his socery when he was thirteen.  I still looked nine, and I bet it drove him nuts when I tagged along after him and wouldn't go home when young Master Ardenvor the Wizard of Denevor took him as an aprentice.
Like I said before, I'm diferent.  Kyle's got grandkids now, but it's generaly agreed I've just come of age.  No, I'm not an elf, I'm sixty six!
Anyways, througout Kyle's aprenticeship I was his mischevious little sister who could't keep her hands out of the alchemy, got into trouble with the scrolls and wands, and then apologised for the mess she made wtih puppy dog eyes and a plate of homemade cookies and got off with a few shouts from Ardenvor--who was trying not to laugh usualy--and a broom.
We didn't even realize how much magic I was capable of 'til Kyle started running off to have adventures.  I was so lonely that I prayed and prayed and prayed for a friend, and with a little pop, a brass egg appeared in my hands.
I kept it secret for weeks, not sure what to do.  I looked elleven then, and had been put in charge of the kitchen.  I knew the egg needed to stay hot, so I hid it in the fire.
A few months later it hatched into this adorable little fire snake, the bestest friend a wild girl like me could ever have.  I finaly got up the guts to show her to Ardenvor.  That was when he promoted me from cook who worked for reading lessons and to pay off the things she kept breaking to full aprentice.  Thanks to my brother, Ardenvor allready knew how to teach an intuitive caster.  He explaiend to me what a summoner as, and what an Eidolon was.  He taught me theory, and when I started to work out spells, he told me what they were, what I could do with them.
Damn I loved that man.  I didn't care that he was in his ninties when I came of age, I gave him the hottest kiss I could figure out how to give.  I asked him to take my maidenhood and make me his wife.
He would't do it, he knew he only had another year or so to live, but I could tell that he watned too--after almost a century as a bachelor.  It broke my heart, but I'd never really felt so femenine either.
I spent the last three years caring for Ardenvor in his final days and working with the town militia.
Ardenvor's nephew Vorince showed up last month.  Skilled wizard, the old man's heir, came with a snooty rich girl wife named Marissa.  She calls me Ardenvor's crazy cook with her nose in the air.  Forget this!  Sicily and I are going to make our own way in the world.
So, the land is in need?  You have my spear, you have our flame, there's just the small matter of our fee.

Appearance:
   See Image
Casey isn't very comfortable in clothing.  She never has been. Though not the most agile, given a choice she'll slip out of her half-shirt any time she can and run around topless.  She -far- prefers to fight that way too, much to her militia captain's chargrin.  Armor, she claims, is downright suffocating, and sorcerers don't wear it!

I am interested. :D

I would really like to play a cleric or paladin who fights in skimpy, impractical, oversexualized bikini armor... Except that she's really wearing a complete suit of full plate enchanted to be invisible on top of it. The bikini 'armor' is to fool morons into shooting her instead of her party. I'm not sure if that's even possible in pathfinder though.

Edit: Ahh! I just realized. No magical equipment. I gotta think of something else. :D

Muse

If I may, Fey.  Pathfinder has the Glammered armor property, which would covered what you would describe.

With out starting resources, you wouldn't be able to afford it--or even plate.

May I sugest starting with a mail bikini using the statistics of a mail shirt?

Well if people want me to put my input on races they wish to play, I can elaborate. I'll start however with those that play elves and then halflings.

The elves resides within settlements of a coastal mountain range which is called the Throat. There a Dutchy has lasted for several generations of elves. Ruled over by the Widowed Duchess, she controls a considerable amount of resources. A coastal beach that is protected by mountains has now been made into hamlets along the shore with a vast city of stone overlooking it all. The elves make their settlements along the beaches and their livings involve fishing, pearl diving, stone and gem working and they make some of the finest blades. They are closely attuned to the seas and play host to a knightly order dedicated to Bahamut. For those that wish further details on the Order of Bahamut, please talk to me here.

However this is not to say that all elves share the same home. Some hamlets still reside in the Wispoak Woods, which are more or less dedicated to following the traditional ways. Worshipping older spirits of nature and magic rather than the more modern Order of Bahamut.

Halflings reside in Daroth Craig within the sheer plateaus and rocky formations therein. They have literally chiseled fortifications and walls within the rocky outcroppings. Because they reside in such hostile territory they have become much more territorial and aggressive in defending their hoes and livelihoods. They often wage territorial wars with the evil monsters that often reside there as well such as the goblins. Well known for their giant hawk riders, their tenacity and ferocity, many view them as ferocious badgers. In terms of religion, the halflings have a Monastery dedicated to Yondalla, whom teaches temperance and enlightenment. The mother of all halflings, she is their revered goddess and they dedicate their victories and survival to her. Those that answer the call of religion and call the monastery their home overcome their aggressive behaviors that had been instilled into them for discipline and order, they wield weapons of a poor traveler or bare hands.

Then I'll take the one that shows the most promise or fits in with the lore best. Again, do not hesitate to talk to me.

There is potential for two wizards. And Muse has stated he prefers the summoner in private talks with me.

Nothing prevents you from wearing more sexualized armor. Of course that too has drawbacks. But if you wish I can however work it into the Lore so it is a justified trope. Now the question is, as a knight or cleric, do you have an idea for your order or shall I help elaborate?

I still have my "brazen sorceress who is secretly a noble adventuring to indulge impulses she can't a back home."  Blasty, with fire elemental bloodline.

Or a regular magus or kensai magus, following sword and spell lore wherever it leads... pretty much a huge nerd!

Any of them might have a bent towards exhibitionism or even nudism, if not too disruptive (or if the setting's not too cold).

And now I am going to address your concerns. ^_^

I have a fondness for exhibitionism as well so it doesn't disrupt my tastes. Setting wise it is a temperate zone, but I would suggest at least brining something warmer or have such a contingency. I can even work it into the lore if you are wanting help to make it work. I love me some justified tropes.

The myth-weavers thing seemed to be a one-time issue, so I just threw together a quick sheet on there since I'm used to everything. Let me know if you prefer to use text sheets and I'll swap over if necessary.

Bell Lightfoot - Halfling Unchained Monk
https://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1108777

Personality: Bell is a calm, composed young woman, pretty much unlike the majority of halflings from Daroth Craig. Where others are violent and suspicious, Bell simply smiles and nods and TAKES CARE OF BUSINESS. She's quite the empathetic individual and tries to live by the moral code taught her by the monastery she grew up in. At the same time she knows that for evil to be stopped, one must stand up to them, so the woman who you'd think might be a pacifist at first glance is more than willing to step up to people twice her size and take them down with well-placed blows to sensitive spots. She's just genuinely a good, nice person, albeit with a rather frightening gift for the martial arts and a willingness to use them.

Brief History: Bell is an unusually quiet young halfling woman from the Monastery of Yondalla, out in the high peaks of Daroth Craig. Considering that she was actually born IN the monastery, she never really ended up with the greater territorial instincts of the non-monastic halflings, though she did inherit the gift for violence and a dash of their righteous fury when necessary. Naturally calm and introspective in her day to day life, she adapted to the monastery well, caring for the rooftop gardens and quietly honing her body in the monastery's martial arts forms. She continued to do so for years, only leaving the monastery walls to beat back particularly brave monsters and bandits, until the the month the expected shipment from Edenia didn't arrive.

Being one of the safest places in the region, the monks of Yondalla were proud to trade with Edenia for extra food and spread it to the poorer and more wild villages and forts in the region. The fact that the shipment didn't arrive meant that some of the more dependant villages would likely starve, and succumb to monstrous raids. The elder monks discussed what to do, and eventually came up with a plan. Several were sent out to find alternate food sources, while some of the younger monks investigated the sudden lack of trade caravans from Edenia. Bell was one of the ones to hear from the people of Evermeet rumors that Edenia had fallen, and bravely volunteered to assist with the crisis. After all, it was the right thing to do, and if the bandit armies were defeated then the food shipments could continue again.

Appearance: Bell stands at an impressive (for halflings) 3'2", her skin ever-so-slightly tanned from tending the rooftop gardens of her mountain monastery. Dainty is a good word for her, considering her petite frame and soft features, though undressed it is clear that she is no soft damsel. Her entire body is lean, flexible muscle with slim hips and small (but well-shaped) breasts. She has wide, expressive green eyes and pouty lips, with a button nose and high eyebrows. Her hair is a mass of gentle chocolate waves reaching down to the small of her back, though she usually keeps it up a bit in a loose ponytail with a scarf. The little monk prefers loose and flowing garments like those of her particular family of halflings, and a few humble bangles passed down from mother to daughter.

  She's adorable, LAtooni!

TF, both my current concepts are designed to be able to throw a burning hands once or twice, a day but in neither case would I feel stepped on by your character.

The wizard is curently more into force effects than fire.  The summoner would actualy feel a bond for you, given that her (now too old to adventure) twin brohter is a fire aspected sorcerer.

Oh, I've got some pretty good lore-related reasons.  :)  For starters, a sorceress with the fire elemental bloodline is going to be a bit wilder and more uninhibited... it must run in the family, as an ancestor (at LEAST one) must have fucked a (or more than one) fire elemental!  Now, picture a woman like that born into the stifling, hidebound and sexist Taldan nobility, with their fancy clothes and heavy wigs for women.

She strikes out on her own to adventure from time to time since the "boys club" of Taldan adventuring circles won't have her along, taking an assumed name and leaving her wig behind, flaunting herself the way she wants to.  This is not only personally satisfying to her, but also a great disguise, as who would expect a Taldan noble to run around in nothing a bondage harness and thigh-high boots... and keeps people from looking at her face too closely too.

In taking into consideration what Muse said (and attempting to wrestle with the Magus rules again... ugh), here's the sorceress.

Background

Lady Pasara Sedcon, daughter of Duke Nottinian Sedcon of Oppara.

Pasara is the fourth child and third daughter of a duke in Oparra, capital of Taldor, greatest city on the greatest empire on the planet, to hear them tell it.   Her mother vanished some 10 years prior in a hushed-up scandal. Though many of her peers weren't shy about cutting her with mentions of it.   With the catty nature of the girls and the sexism of the boys, she wasn't the center of any social circles. She played the society game, but her heart wasn't in it and had only a few close friends, leaning more towards the wizardly studies with her father as her teacher.  She had a gift for it, reading a spell once to master it forever, with an affinity towards fire.

She was curious about things outside of Taldor, not instinctively seeing it as the be-all and end-all of the world the way so many other nobles did... This burning curiosity was because she had some fire elemental in her blood.  She discovered (some) of the truth when she found her late grandmother’s journal hidden up in an old wig, full of details of her summoning and dalliance with a seductive fire elemental behind her husband’s back!  That secret might have been what drove her mother away.

A number of young noblemen had been setting out to adventure under the auspices of the Sovereign Court and would not have her along.  So she set out on her own, leaving behind her ornate wigs and fine clothes, displaying herself as a brazen, wicked sorceress under the alias Sara Hotstar.  She's even thought of joining the Pathfinder Society.  It was very liberating, defying all the conventions of society.   Possibly even addictive.   She’s enough of a Taldan that she hasn’t rejected where she came from completely yet.

For now though, she leads two lives, sometimes the dutiful daughter, sometimes going on adventures around the Inner Sea under the cover of taking “pilgrimages” and “grand tours” for months on end the way so many young nobles do before returning to one family estate or another.

Sara enjoys the freedom she’s made for herself, joining (or organizing) adventuring expeditions to uncover historical artifacts and lore… anything Azlanti is a particular interest, as she has a touch of their blood in her.  Worthy causes will also catch her attention, confronting wickedness that she can freely unleash her growing power upon.

Sara Hotstar dresses like and adopts the mannerisms of the sort of seductive, wicked sorceress seen in traveling plays and lurid chapbooks… when she dresses at all!   If anyone gets fresh when she doesn’t want the attention, she uses her magic to make it clear they shouldn’t.

She pays reverence to both Calistria’s lusty aspects and Cayden Caliean’s freedom-seeking ones.

The city-state of Everett is a river faring city, and is capable of sustaining itself and surviving the famine and raiding gripping the kingdom. Their nobles overindulge and waste even in such times and live in their own world. Plenty of reason for a good hearted noble to want to distance themselves from that. They are for most, overindulgent, lecherous, and greedy. Merchants peddle their edible wares at higher prices in light of the starvation. In short the high society is acting like vultures during these times. So in short, the city state has plenty of decadence, vice and questionable morality.

For you I can easily create a noble house that are essentially merchants nobles. Maybe something of a classical name like House Blackthorn. Basically the patriarchs and male nobles of the house enjoy the fine benefits of more decadent trading, make sure to hand out favors to others they  are certain to collect on. Perhaps even to your dismay, they deal in flesh trading? After finding out you were going into an arranged marriage despite your magical prowess you said "fuck it" and ran off. Now you have the freedom to choose how you wish to live. Old habits however die hard and you may be eager to indulge in pleasures of the flesh or the excitement of public attention.

RubySlippers

I'm working on an Elf Human Occultist with the Battle Host Archetype wearing armor and wielding the sword of her ancestors as her mighty focus of her powers she is happy to cleave, cast psychic powers and call on latter the spirits of her ancestors in physical form etc.

It will take some time though to finish her but you needed someone who can fight with weapons other than the monk.

Now about the Order of Bahamut any information she could be a member of that or a green knight calling on the ancestor spirits of old more tied to a small line of protectors.

Laughing Hyena

The Order of Bahamut are a sect of knights that drive to defend the defenseless and undo the wicked evils of the world. Donning immaculate scale mail, plate and wielding sacred weapons, they are often trusted as noteworthy champions. However they are still in their budding years and have only been recently recognized as a church by the Widowed Duchess.

Those whom dedicate themselves by Bahamut are elevated to squiredom and it is one the few ways a maiden or commoner can become a knight. Those whom enter essentially forfeit their former lives, relinquishing both property, family and name. The trials however are rigorous and demanding and not everyone can withstand the trials. Those who fall are given full rites if they fall in battle or become part of the priesthood. It requires dedication to weapons, arms, and religious tenants and a sacrifice of both virtue and past. Virtue in the form of physical virginity by means of a ritual designed to baptize the body from outside and within. In short it is so they commit everything to the fight and shed their needs (hopefully) of physical lust and the fear of repercussions due to the dangers of being a knight. Once this ritual and tasks are done the maiden is a full knight.

Elves, Humans, even a one or two Tieflings have become knights of Bahamut.

Frontier-Forged: A hard life on the edge of civilization has made you resourceful but has also given you a streak of self-preservation bordering on paranoia. You receive a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks and a +1 bonus on Survival checks made to get along in the wild.

Axe to Grind: There is a fire in your heart that can't be quenched. You gain a +1 trait bonus on damage against foes who are threatened by only you.

-Feats-

Skill Focus (Survival):  You get a +3 bonus on all checks involving the chosen skill. If you have 10 or more ranks in that skill, this bonus increases to +6.

Track (Ex): A ranger adds half his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.

Power Attack: Benefit: You can choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +2 bonus on all melee damage rolls. This bonus to damage is increased by half (+50%) if you are making an attack with a two-handed weapon, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that adds 1-1/2 times your Strength modifier on damage rolls. This bonus to damage is halved (–50%) if you are making an attack with an off-hand weapon or secondary natural weapon. Cleave: As a standard action, you can make a single attack at your full base attack bonus against a foe within reach. If you hit, you deal damage normally and can make an additional attack (using your full base attack bonus) against a foe that is adjacent to the first and also within reach. You can only make one additional attack per round with this feat. When you use this feat, you take a –2 penalty to your Armor Class until your next turn.

-Special Abilities-

Low-Light Vision:  Half-elves can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.

Elven Immunities: Half-elves are immune to magic sleep effects and get a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.

Keen Vision: Half-elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception skill checks.

Favored Enemy (Ex) (Montrous Humanoid) At 1st level, a ranger selects a creature type from the ranger favored enemies table. He gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks against creatures of his selected type. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against them. A ranger may make Knowledge skill checks untrained when attempting to identify these creatures.

Wild Empathy (Ex): A ranger can improve the initial attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person (see Using Skills). The ranger rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma bonus to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.

Combat Style Feat (Ex) (Two-Handed Weapon): At 2nd level, a ranger must select one of two combat styles to pursue: archery or two-weapon combat. The ranger's expertise manifests in the form of bonus feats at 2nd, 6th, 10th, 14th, and 18th level. Personality:  When war ain't dreary, it's pretty goddamn boring.  But it ain't boring if you've got a kid like Fallon Spratt in your platoon.  He'll tell you a long yarn while you're digging a ditch to make the time go by quick or he'll say something funny when you're getting overrun by the enemy to ease your nerves.  Unlike the whole slew of young soldiers I've ever met, only Spratt actually enjoyed war, which is odd given his friendly disposition, his kindness towards everyone, his enthusiasm towards novel things, and his unbridled idealism.  Military life just settled well with him.  Aside from all that, I must say that Spratt is unnaturally convivial with nature and uncommonly gracious towards its bounty.  He respects the wild, even though he's cynical towards the monstrous inhabitants that dwell within it.  On the other hand, he's also unsophisticated and impolitic, and can be a bit naive on account of it.

Brief History:   I don't know where to start!  I didn't know my parents because they died before I was born.  My uncle told me that they were fine people who died for a good cause.  Uncle never told me much more than that, though.  He never talked much.  Now, you would think it woulda' been difficult for a tough man like that and a fellow like me to get along, but we made a good team!  He taught me everythin' he knew about surviving in the wilderness, and let me tell you, he knew a fair bit.

I was about sixteen years old when he died.  After I buried him, I set out to live my life.  I didn't want to live like my uncle.  That's a lonely experience, and I always knew it wasn't for me.  Now, I've been told that folks don't think that joining the military is a good way to live one's life, but I really enjoyed my time in the service.  Living in the cold mud is a cake walk after you've lived in the frontier.  I never got such good sleep!  I got to travel and see new places, too.  Most of all, I never did anything that I was ashamed of.

Except... I wish that I had died with my unit.  But that ain't here nor there.

Appearance:  Spratt is a 23-year-old half-elven male, who is 6'2 tall and 170 lbs.  He has blond hair and green eyes.  He is broad shouldered, but lean, with long, prodigious arms.
Always seeking 5E games.

Hmm... I think I have something here.

Beyond the Rivers of the City State of Evermeet lie the wild plains of Tantamar. It is there that the Wild Men of the Hundred Tribes mark their territory. It is a vast, and deceptively dangerous plain where predators and prey are on the open fields competing for precious resources. Huts of clay, wood and straw mark their settlements alongside spike walls to keep serious bears and cats out. Only the strongest survive here and the Ku'kath Clan are some of the toughest one can ever hope to encounter. Their name sake is not from brutality however but because of the legend of their clans origin.

Long ago the Wispoak Woods stretched all the way to the rivers. However A band of hill giants swept the land and began deforesting the woods to almost nothing. Spirits, and druids and fair folk of the woods found salvation in the unlikely form of an orc. Legend has it this orc was said to have wielded a massive maul made from the leg bone of a dragon to break the bones of his sworn foes. The barbarian known only as Ja'rok drove the hill giants from the Wispoak Woods which were once more populated and dense. As his prize, he sought the hand of an elven maid and the deforested territories of the Tantamar plains as his kingdom. All barbarians of this region are said to have defended from Ja'rok in either blood, spirit or both.

Sounds pretty good!  Two angles on her background and behavior... she may be good, but that doesn't mean she's pure and chaste, she's decadent and wicked in her personal life and presentation.  Second, some link between sex and magic for her.  There's no real mechanical support for, say, tantric sex magic, but she might barely wear anything because of the heat from her spells or the magic she channels.  A certain xenophilia too, with elementals and such.

Another possibility is that she hasn't broken ties yet, that she's doing the secret ID thing.  She goes out on her adventuring and then comes back to her household for a while.  That could provide for some interesting conflict down the road, when something happens that'll force her to choose.

Hmm... No there isn't really any mechanic for tantric casting. Perhaps she uses magic as a means of sexual release in the bedroom? I can easily imagine some power perversion potential from her lovers and I can imagine that being used to bring some spice to the decadent lifestyles of the noble in Evermeet. I do not mind the secret identity situation either as this build potential for conflicts.

A tantric wizard could have to spend the studying time to get new spells in ritual sex instead, but that doesn't help with a sorcerer.   :)  There could be a secret society or cult of mages that does things like summoning up elementals for sex hidden in the city, it might have been how her grandmother or mother trysted with one.

Prestidigitation could have a million uses in the bedroom to spice things up in the bedroom and Ghost Sound cold make for loud orgasm noises (or covering up the sounds of a tryst in a closet)!

I had her as the third sister so there wouldn't be quite as much pressure to get married yet.  The fact she's a sorcerer might be hidden... she could just be passing as a neophyte mage with her cantrips.

Guess you thought the Bahamut Knights were chaste. They're not, and more like the Brides of Ahlat from the Exalted setting. Just as an FYI. Anyway as long as you enjoy the character it'll do fine. For the sake of things, you can be a hedge knight for the hamlets of Wispoak Woods since the elven settlements there will work well enough. Just bear in mind that your wouldn't be a legally recognized knight since your religion isn't more openly worshipped.

Its not fancy titles its the heart and honor of the knight that matters if humans don't get it well its their problem.

I like it. So what do we have thus far potentially.

One pyromancer with elemental blood among other things,
One summoner with direct lineage as an ifrit/or an elven evoker from the coastal kingdoms.
One elven knight of the old code.
A halfling monk of Yondalla.
A very southern-esque half-elf ranger.

And three others whom have made interest but not made characters yet. One has a concept for a barbarian, another a paladin or cleric. The third has yet to make any leaning towards a concept or such. Anyone else? Anything I might have missed?

If the third is wolf dreamer, he said a paladin or a rogue, nad I've been helping him with a rogue.

I've got a concept to pitch - let me know if you want it expanded into a full character. Sorry it's brief... But I try not to put too much into my first few thoughts... Especially with unfamiliar GM's.

Charlie Idea

I want to try a paladin. Someone who was a handsome rake, warrior, gambler and flirt - but ended up on the wrong side of God. Most clerics get close to their deity through devotion, love, hard work and shared efforts. To work and live as their diety does, they touch souls and in return can share in their deities power, becoming a vessel.
Some mortals get close through deals and pacts - gaining power to accomplish a great task - or even with some dark pact, binding their souls together with words and gaining power - at the expense of placing their soul - their eternal afterlife in the hands of a diety with whom they may not share a compatibility...

Usually these pacts are evil in nature - because goodly gods don't want to twist and pervert the natures of those who might follow them. But just occasionally... Circumstances dictate a different course.

If he'd told the story as he once had been, it would of sounded passionate and heroic. A rake who charmed some priestesses, ending up in the high maiden's bed, before slipping away to leave unrequited love. At the city gates lay Orc raiders, a great foe which pushed him back, battering his plate mail until he collapsed upon the temple steps, where a goddess answered his call for aid, granting sanctuary from the ravenous horde...

The truth was far less kind. He had indeed been the rake, passionate and flair... He'd borrowed some coins and skipped into the night - only to encounter a women of his past. An angry Orcish woman who was not with out her charm. But also came with a temper and a long memory. She beat him and chased him- for he was far too kind to fight her with menace. After all, it wasn't as if he didn't deserve his lesson.

But when he'd collapsed on the temple steps, he'd begged and offered anything for aid... He'd never specified what kind of aid... And she'd accepted his offer... A goddess of love, passion and beauty - but also protection. She'd decided that this rake needed protecting... And her flock needed protection from him.

With but a touch of her power, she'd overwhelmed his mortal form. And her clergy handled the rest. The spell was more like reincarnation than healing - bathing his body and soul within her power until something new came out. A soul with a conscious - and a womanly form. For how better to prevent him ever present charms than to remake him in her image?

Of course, there came complications. Binding him, her in this way gave her connection - letting her share the strength. It also let her feel the ever present anger she often invoked...
And there are trappings. If she wanted an afterlife... One other than eternal torment... She'd have to follow the tenants of her new faith... Beauty, love, protection... Life was going to change...

I want to pitch the idea of a paladin, perhaps with a custom archetype based around the enlightened warrior. Not to be a Monk/Paladin, But the idea of a divine power protecting them, adding their charisma to their AC. It's not nearly as effective as platemail, but fits the story so well. As for the rest, perhaps some minor powers like creating love potions or @shrugs@ I haven't thought that far ahead. I'm happy with just plain paladin though.

Part of my thoughts tie into the idea that part of her punishment is she has to live in the body of her previously ideal woman. So smaller, delicate, weaker, overly sensitive and prone to high emotions - that wild uncontrollable natural that rakes want to tame oh so badly... And as part of her faith she'd be stuck wearing beautiful things - or find herself so smothered and uncomfortable that she has to choose more overtly feminine clothing. Despite the unwanted attention it earns her. Also there is the challenge of gender - wanting to charm women as a women... Requires learning a whole new set of skills... And dealing with charmed men with also require something new...

I've no thoughts on race - it would be whatever her new Goddess used to be, so something we can discuss and share the fun with? And well, the feel should be a mix of overly feminine traits mixed with masculine rakish behaviour... I'd pick a trait to help line up some skills with a rakes past - bluff, persuasion, perhaps perception or craft armor (it's like sewing & leather working all in one). Stealth and Climbing also seem to fit - getting into and out of bedrooms takes certain talents... Sleight of hand or riding would be my last picks, but I doubt I'll have that many points to spend.

Let me know if this catches your interest...

Well say what might be called a knight defending her people and will help others but not being lawful in her goodness tends to balance that with her personal freedom. But she can get along with others well enough.

Question; I see that in the first iteration of the game, there was a dual-gendered character. Is this a thing in your world, or was that character some sort of one-of?   :-)

So a ladies man gets his comeuppance, is answer by a goddes of beauty, gender bent and becomes a paladin. I can get behind this surprisingly deep character and it's gives me an excuse to flesh out a little more of the pantheon

The Warpriest class with Sacred Fist sounds like it'd fit the concept more than a paladin.   "A deity protects her sacred fist as long as he is unarmored and unencumbered. A sacred fist adds his Wisdom modifier (minimum 0) to his AC and his CMD."

I'll work on a sheet then. @spins@ Thankies for the chance!

TFcommando - I was thinking of something like the duelist archetypes available for magus. The Magus class is totally the wrong fit - but there are a couple swashbuckling archetypes - Bladed Scarf Dancer & Kensai - these are more like a Duelist concept. They use trickery and clever fighting as an aid to their light armor - not just heavy steel plates. For me, it's all about the description. I think I can have a lot of fun writing a charming, divinely powered defense. It will be something new as well - I like new challenges :)

I also really want her wisdom to be her worst stat. Life just wouldn't as fun if she kept making all the right choices and wasn't annoying her goddess by charming, seducing and cheating people & monsters... I can imagine her downtime will be spent babysitting in the temple crèche or organising a Miss Templeton beauty pageant to gather more donations... It's just the right way to entice and patronise a beauty goddess...

I don't really want a monk archetype - I just don't really see it as suiting 'his' style. I'll work on a sheet and see where I get.

Maxine Heart, A Paladin with a Masculine heart and a callous past

Name: Maxine Heart, formerly Sir Maximus Swells. I like cheesey...
Race: Human
Class: Paladin, possibly with the Dashing Hero Archetype or something similar? This archetype is almost perfect- but trades away all the healing powers so consider that for the party makeup. I'm happy to work with you for a less powerful archetype that combining what I'd like with new elements themed towards this Goddess, if you'd like to try and make something custom. It is also 3rd party content, so consider that too. I'm happy to be a healer or even just straight paladin. This character isn't minmaxed, they are definitely maxmined instead...

Ladies War Fan: this harmless looking fan has steel or hardwood ribs, with fine leather or thick cloth stretched across them. Whilst seemingly innocuous, the weapon is easily readied and these hardened ribs can be used to deflect or catch weapons. A skill user can even disarm an opponent through methods to catch and twist the weapon from their grasp. Such fans are commonly painted with small murals or landscapes - and it is common to see fine etching along the ribbing and outer casing.
A ladies fan counts as a light shield with +1 AC. A trained wielder can also make disarm checks at +2 CMB. They also have +5 against any checks to search for weapons and armour to overlook the fan.

Initiative: +3 Dex
Hit Points: 24
Fort: +6, Refl: +6 & Will: +5

Languages: Common, Elven & Slyvan.

Personality:
~ Charming & Easy Paced: Maxine likes to get through life with easy smiles, easy manners and never too much responsibility. She rarely gets such peace - but she often tries. And an easy meal or shortcut is hard for her to resist.
~ Confidence: Maxine is damn sure of herself. And she's also damn sure her afterlife will be spent tied to her Goddess. She's also a paladin and completely without fear. She will die and live eternal with her goddess... And her goddess is certainly not going to let death end her lessons... Still, she'd like to live. So when she acts, it's a cocky confidence that she has. A something extra that suggests she has a plan and a way of knowing it's all in her favour. That you should recheck the odds - you've missed something. And it's gonna hurt...
~ Old World Way: Maxine likes to treat other women like they are precious jewels. She likes to polish them up before taking them out to sparkle under the lights. She will open doors for them and offering them trinkets, drinks and anything fashionable. She will treat them like noblewomen, sharing tips and lessons in beauty and dressing. She will take them shopping - or even go shopping when she knows she can help. And once they are painted and strapped into their beauty, she will take them out to shine.
~ Sincere Flattery & Word Games: Maxine's favourite pastimes are flattering and charming women - even some men. She likes to be in everyone's good books. And she likes to play cleverly with words. Double meanings and entendres are a delight!
~ Divinely Fearful: As a paladin, she has no fears. But her closeness to her goddess makes her very aware of whenever she annoys - or worse, makes her jealous! As such, threats that concern her church and its members - or temptations that break those tenements she follows so carefully... Make her the most dangerous opponent. Because it makes her afraid of suffering divine punishment - something she will act in desperate need to avoid...
~ Faithful: Maxine follows her faith. Every morning morning wakes up and performs her prayers - a series of prayer and personal beauty. She will dress with fashion and beauty, even choosing to sacrifice function over form when choosing her equipment. Though this is in part divine punishment for her misdeeds. Maxine will dress with a feminine touch for the most part. But it is becoming a part of her nature - whether or not she likes this evolution.
~ Dislikes Children: Maxine's current punishment is to babysit at the temple Crèche. What's worse is whenever she helps I'm the fertility rituals, it's not about perving over naked bodies - no, instead she becomes a magical conduit for the energies needed to grow families. Her body becomes attuned to parenthood - making her see men as potential fathers and flawed mates... Making her see children as potential joys - instead of noisy terrors. And even making her thinking jealously about how she might never had a swollen bosom ready to feed life into a young mouth... As if she needed more weight on her chest...
Also, her goddess tends to speak to her during her morning prayers in the days coming after, offering to gift her twins... Even offering to take some powerfully persuasive mortal form to 'assist' the process...

Brief History: Maximus Swells, a flirtatious charmer known for charming every lady in the room- just to draw notice from the one who would spurn his every word. Maximus has an ex in every town, every court - and every brother. Of course, since he was chased into the Temple of Ruby Sisters, a local Goddess of Beauty, Heart, Passion & Protection, he's never been the same. Having slept with several of her clergy before slipping away with borrowed  goddess had used her power to chase him back. An Orcish ex with a hot temper chased him in her rage, beating him until he collapsed on the temple steps, offering anything for aid.
She accepted...
The next morning, he awoke to a larger world. Well, he was just smaller. And he swayed a lot. Actually he kinda curved a lot more too. But mostly she'd notice how much her chest swayed. Though boy did she gasp when she discovered what else had changed... All new curves in all the wrong places... A Goddess's gift - and punishment. What man wouldn't learn from their ways if they were now a women. A women so well designed that she was the "ideal".
Of course, old habits died hard. And whilst his, no, her old methods weren't quite right. She would learn new ones. Just as she'd learn about fine powders, delicate perfumes, the intricate bindings required for displaying hairstyles and busts. She'd learn about heels and a whole new perspective on soft lingerie... Of course, she'd also learn that a quiet kiss and a soft word can still charm a lady. As it can anger a young Goddess into jealousy...
Within this world there were many benefits. She worked with ensuite up women, helping them prepare dances and shows, even performing! She performed rites of fertility - though she found herself enjoying them for all the wrong reasons. For days afterward she would look at men as potential fathers and flawed ogres... She'd see children as precious instead of noisy- she even stare jealousy at mother's breasts, wondering if she could even have a child to need her swollen breast... And her Goddess would make polite offers during her morning prayers - temptaeous twins or even coming down as an angelic aspect to take her to heaven... Over and over again... Somehow Maxine resisted... But she was beginning to lose that sure sense of Masculinity she'd always had.

Having lost her previous shape - and much of her might - Maxine had given away her old armor and weapons. She'd donated the coins to help repay those she'd wronged. But when the Church offered to buy her make new armour - even buy her a new weapon, she'd had such hopes. When she realised she was being given the choice of chainmail and platemail bikinis... She took up the sewing courses she'd been neglecting to attend and starting making something for herself. The other girls helped of course - and they created something... Well it was beautiful, something you'd expect in a parade. But it was hardly the heavy plate she'd once had. Still, she worked hard not just to make it - but to learn to fight with the new design, gaining something different out of it. If she was cursed to be her previously 'ideal' woman, then she'd damn well make herself a good one. Because her goddess wasn't going to let go even if she did damn herself...

Maxine is happy to get out from the church - to have a quest. But she also seeks a girlfriend. Something real. Now that she is living with women, she is finally seeing them as more than passing fancies and her presence as a 'gift' on their boring lives. She tells herself she is hunting for a few new girls to explore her new body with. But in truth, she's starting to look for love. However, they say there is a fine line between love and hate. And the one she sees the most... The one she hates the most... Is her goddess... So who can compare to that?

Appearance: I'm a little undecided. I'd like GM input on the Goddess before I pick. I was thinking she'd either be tailored after the Goddess or after the local ideal for a woman. I'm thinking something iconic - Red hair and Emerald Eyes, perhaps Sun Soaked Blonde with blue eyes? She will definitely be short, light and toned in build. Her skin will be either tanned, pale or some thing deliciously darker... Her bust should be large - a solid D should look awkwardly noticeable on her smaller height and slimmer frame. Her figure should be an enviable hourglass. With hips large enough to explore - and leaving a figure that never quite fits anything without being measured to fit her. Her legs should be long, so her torso and arms are a little shorter. Making larger weapons a little more awkward to use. And her body is soft - begging to be touched. And of course, it's entirely too sensitive when it is...

Laughing Hyena

Absolutely beautiful and I will get into the details soon. However I am noticing that there are no healers whatsoever amongst any of the candidates.  I have no issues with this setup but do understand that difficulty becomes much higher. A few bad rolls can be that much more brutal.

I can always play my plague doctor, an Alchemist with a lot of infusions ready for y'all to sip like an Estus Flask. (And bombs! BOMBS!) I was sad when the last game I applied with her in didn't work out for me.

I was looking towards a druid or shaman; but we'll see. I find I haven't had a great deal of time on my hands to crank out character ideas

Re Z L

I was actually poking around at a few ideas, all of them being healer-y

I was trying to figure out an Oracle, but fitting a particular style that doesn't seem exactly supported by the normal rules...

Hmmmm.

I've got most of it figured out though I think, I'll send a PM your way.

To clarify - I feel like this needs to be said. You don't have to change your character if you feel comfortable with what you have. Just be aware of the situation. Also I shall be looking for those whom fit the lore of the land best and those whom can expand on the lore as a party.

I will be taking six of you just to be generous with the group.

My character is taking healing spells when she can.

So here is a character sheet. It's just quickly done, so let me know if you want areas developed or to discuss your thoughts. I'd love feedback - even if you'll someone else. ^_^ I'm very chatty if poked. Ok, I tend to panic & ... I think Yelp is the best word. It's not a scream. People poke me so often I don't scream anymore, but my skin still crawls just as much... @whines@

But if you have other tastes, please share them with me. Or any suggestions at all...

It looks like you forgot the +2 to one attribute that Human gets you, and the bonus feat too.

Would a Paladin's rigid code really fit?  Maxine strikes me as someone still struggling with her goddess's ideas in some ways... and the goddess doesn't seem lawful good.  Good, yes, lawful, not so much.

Just tossing this out there, but maybe she's being groomed to use her old, rakish charm and scandalous skills in a productive way, a different tool than a typically rigid paladin.

A Bard with the Arcane Healer archetype for instance... all the desired wicked skills, then take Weapon Finnese for fighting and say that the spells were divinely gifted.

Or a Magus with Eldritch Scion and the Celestial bloodline, giving her weapon the Good alignment for damaging evil foes.

@Kimmy

That's quickly? Jesus, setting the bar high on me to get this right.  ^_^

First off let us get into the Goddess in question, the Ruby Sisters. I only noticed one sister in the backstory so that obviously is questioned. The second is I already have a pair of twin gods and wouldn't wish to oversaturate the divine market. But the most important issue I have is with the more direct interest the Goddess shows in your character and other suggestive situations she deems. The reason is because, I then have to consider if the other Gods and Goddesses take issue with this or if this is a rebellious and as you said young goddess.

In short are they Greyhawk Gods (where they are hands off) or Forgotten Realms Gods (very hands on)? Im gonna give this some extra thought later on after some debate, but I shall get back to this tonight.

Other than this, I have to say this is welcome and refreshing even if I am unfamiliar with the third party material. I enjoyed the character and the backstory involved.

Finally since you left this in my hands with the appearance, I shall do such. You said you wanted something more iconic and striking, that the goddess remade your chevalier into a form she considers. I hope you do not mind me taking liberties to reshape the goddess to fit the pantheon I intended to forge for this campaign.

Delilah, The Sun Queen -  (The Ruby Maiden, The Beauty Born of Sunlight, The Immaculate Princess)

Domains: Charm, Love, Pleasure, Sun, Good

Holy Symbol -  A Four Pronged Star within a Circle

Appearance - With a sheer white dress adorned by faint golden trim to barely reveal the lovely olive skin underneath and a golden cloak clasped by a ruby brooch, this woman carries herself with incredible grace. Her deep green eyes of the goddess transfix those whom look up her and a smile of ruby red lips could make many fall to their knees. She is immaculately beautiful with long red hair that goes to the shoulders that looks like it was spun from sunlight. She walks barefoot upon the ground and every motion of her body makes every sensual curve become pronounced. Depictions vary on what form she takes, with the most common depiction of her being a human or elf. Most however assert that her figure is breathtakingly curvaceous, with supple breasts and generous hips even if she stands barely around five feet in height.

Personality - Her merciful nature is most prevalent as she will forgive those whom have committed sinful deeds whom devote themselves to her. She will accept worship from men but she demands her clerics and champions of the church be female. She disavows chastity amongst her church as she considers it wasteful. She cannot stand the legions of the dead nor those whom create them as she sees them as a mockery of life and defiler of beauty. She is more prone to intervene in some measure to those whom devote themselves to her and is not afraid to show herself in some capacity to those committed to her.

Dogma - Show mercy when you can for today's sinners are tomorrows heroes. Do not tolerate those of black heart, and show the strength of the sun when need be. Take care of your beauty and youth, yet show grace and humility. In the springtime of your youth, enjoy the pleasures of both flesh and spirit where you may. In the autumn of your years, devote yourself to family and children. Nurture the beauty of life and defend it from the undead.

Kimmy

@Laughing Hyena: Ask Muse for my idea of something more developed. Still to have such inspiration so quickly is such a wonderful sign that I've found some interesting people I really want to write with.

On my take of a Goddess, I tried not to over develop - it's your deity. But you got the right sort of ideas from what I hoping. I do admit I'm used to Faerunian dieties and Anime Comedies, but that hands on nature could be just something more initial - a Divine wake up cast down by her clerics magics to punish a wicked but hardly forsaken boy. With perhaps a quiet chiding word during her prayer to encourage more obedience (just a mere breathe of 'Twins' would be more than enough to guide this wayward soul) - most of her punishments, troubles and 'divine threats' could well come from other clergy. I can imagine Maxine being asked to help the other faithful in ways that she might well have taken advantage of once... But now... Now she knows those suffering hearts need a deeper comfort than a mere kiss might repair. Or perhaps her own heart is taking a deeper comfort from her offerings... And well, when she does start to stray, some more on point reminders for the other clerics - or even some awkwardly well timed magics might reinforce her lessons... Good clerics can cast curses and they can be more than stat penalties.

I think I'm looking for the term "Evolution" of character. Though I'd hope she doesn't stray too far from her original self either.

Another thought is that at the start of her story she was subject to divine magic. This would be a curse (& gift) called down by clerics - enacted out by the Goddess. Perhaps in a way that was more potent than intended. But that can be blamed on angry jealousy of her lovers piling al, their tangled emotions together into one big spell. But the idea that the Goddess doesn't have to be the direct source of her torments and troubles. The clerics themselves would be. Of course, she could be an angry, altogether too life like Faerunian diety filled with her own jealousies and angers - past relationships with other gods and powerful beings turned sour perhaps - to pile onto Maxine's slim shoulders. Be it a quiet word during prayer, a divine sign, an angry lecture - or even some new curse or edict that applies until a lesson is learned or a debt repaid in a way true to ones heart... whichever way you play it, I'm fairly sure such thoughts could easily wrap into the story you've hinted at. Leaving a wonderful trail of character development tangling itself about your plot hooks and story arcs.

And remember, at level 5, only Good Paladin's get unicorns. Bad ones get ... nightmares? Maybe she'll have to redeem her mount from some evil path? I can see a capricious test there...

The Ruby sisters was a reference to the clerics and not the goddess herself. Sisters as in sisterhood. I was borrowing from Sune's Ruby Knights. I was feeling rather short on names I'm afraid :/

TFcommando: I also never particular saw an alignment besides good. I don't mind where her alignment sits. I think lawful is fine though - I think she'd follow her temples laws and dieties ways - over any letter of the law. It an evolution of character, a forced change. But not one that is unsuited to her spirit. Certainly, Maxine would dislike breaking the law. As it leads to trouble for the church - which ultimately leads to more punishments whenever she comes back... But she'd hardly be a black and white Paladin. But the you can perceive an describe most acts to suit an alignment. So different perspectives offer new views.

I do have some thoughts on names. I feel the temple should hold sunstones - rubies and emeralds that hold an eternal flame inside their facets. It doesn't matter if the stone is precious or just common Quartz. Their use will mark Delilah's blessing, perhaps a common element to enchanted equipment? A stone might be set to a sceptor for a blessed ruler, a pommel for a warrior with a holy or flaming sword. An epic warrior might have earned herself scale mail crafted from chips of a shattered sunstone - something that once offered a guiding flame to an entire temple, now transformed to protect their most precious heroine? These items should shed light, just as their goddess does each day.

As for Delilah, I'm quite happy to follow in her image. She's delightful.

On healing - I'd really have preferred an archetype that traded away other things besides a paladin's healing. But there simply isn't one. If you'd like to discuss an alternative set of trade offers, even just restoring lay on hands, let me know. A little hearings helps a lot - and its iconic Paladin. the archetype I've suggested offers a lot - so it needs to take a lot as well. But maybe we can do something.

In the end, it's having this sort of collaboration that I look for in a GM. If I'm left to just do my own thing, I may as well write alone. And if I'm not to affect the world or story, I may as well read a book. Never apologise for sharing brilliance and drawing upon the ideas offered too you. If you feel you must, then I'd be left wondering if you aren't suited to your writing partner.

@Kimmy

Well it seems others have taken a shining to this goddess so I shall try and have her come up more than just backstory. Anyway I shall develop more on the clergy of the Sun Queen. If we can discuss more in PMs that is a bonus as well.

Im happy to collaborate. Anyway I shall take those punishments into consideration but I will ask for some measure of elaboration via PM. ^_^

PS - This applies to others. Please let me know if you wish to put a better mark into the campaign with lore or whatnot. Other questions can be shot to me via PM if need be.

Kimmy

I'll bounce you some additional thoughts then! Punishments and Goddess thoughts. I'll see what I can mix up.

@spins@ so excited to see this come to shape...

I'm thinking my character worships the ancestor spirits and nature unless you have better ideas but it fits a Knight of the Green best IMHO. But those could be scary powerful ancestor spirits and forces of nature.

I'm interested but it seems liek most of the players here are female. is that by rule or by player choice? ;3

Laughing Hyena

I see at least one or two people attempting to play males. So yes it is players choice. If you want questions on the lore of the campaign or wish to try and want to make new lore, that is perfectly fine. Just talk it over with me.

Laughing Hyena

Sorry to double post but this needs to be addressed in its own post. Nothing major, but another player has asked me questions about comfort concerning character death and whether or not there would be sexy bad ends. I wanted to see what the opinions are regarding the concepts of death. As stated before, I am not intending to sexualize gore but I originally wasn't going to shy away from the death of heroes. Its a risky business after all and the risk should still exist because if it is removed, it also removes a good amount of tension.

So please, don't be scared to approach me and talk to me about the comfort levels of the team.

One thing I've seen around is that PCs don't die when they run out of hit points, they just go down, and a coup de grace is needed to finish them off.  That's also good to apply to named/interesting villains.  Thus, enemies can threaten the PCs by pointing a blade at their fallen friend, or retreating foes (or a tentacle monster) might carry off the unconscious ones, providing a chance for the others to save them... or not!  In the event of everyone going down, they can wake up somewhere interesting, being mounted by orcs, slave ships, gladiatorial arena, etc.  So instead of death, you can transition to a "bad middle," that they can endure or escape from.

Heroes in literature are captured all the time, but that's rare in RPGs because of player attitudes and the game mechanical issues of taking prisoners.  This sort of rule setup (and player buy-in) could make it more possible.

so, I'm really interested in this, but I'm a complete newb when it comes to Pathfinder. Would you be willing to take on someone like that for your party?

Depends on how well you can learn it and also how well your sheet looks. After all I only have room for six people. Still you have a shot as it is not first come first serve. ^_^

Profile

  • Gender:   Female

  • Age:   29
  • Height:   5'6"
  • Weight:   100 lbs
  • Eye Color:   Ice Blue
  • Hair Color:   Blue
  • Skin Tone:   Faintly tanned

Description

Blue hair and ice-blue eyes make her appear more like one of the rarer races, but she is at least mostly human.  Perhaps due to some otherworldly or elvish heritage far in her past she has a shapely form, though is slightly shorter than some.  Faintly pink, pouty lips; fair, but lightly tanned skin; firm and full bust; a narrow waist; and rounded hips made her a picture of beauty to behold.

Background

The foundling had no true family which may have truly doomed her from the start.  She was discovered as a small child in the forests around Edenia by a husband and wife who had not yet managed to have children of their own.  They were a pair of wealthy merchant-folk who controlled a decent share of the trade of more luxurious items between the various ports and cities that inevitably had to go through Edenia.  They had long wanted someone to pass the business to, but had not yet been able to have a child--though they were still reasonably young.  So, perhaps foolishly, they took the baby Lily into their home as their own child.

Soonafter the pair had a child of their own.  And then another.  And another.  While Lily was a marginally good--if rambunctious--child she was quite clearly not related by blood and so she was often kept off to the side.  Wealth and inattentive parents made for many opportunities for Lily to explore things that were perhaps best left alone.  Even in her teenage years her beauty was undeniable and was enough for her to get places, or use people, to get what she wanted.  Ultimately she simply wanted to enjoy life, which meant enjoying some of the less savory imports that went through Edenia.  Drugs of almost any variety were her pleasures of choice, and of course some other young merchant-children were happy to help her.

It soon became clear to her "parents" that she was beginning to cost them more and more with each passing day.  There was the money she would beg, borrow, or steal from them to pay for her habits; the various times she had gotten in trouble with the law-keepers of the city, though never for any significant crime; and the obviousness that she was never going to really do anything to help their business efforts--unlike their more dutiful and biological children.  With heavy hearts they ultimately cast her out of their household, disowning her entirely.  There was some fighting of course, but ultimately she left--perhaps thinking that it would give her more freedom--and went directionless into the world.

It became harder and harder to support herself as a handful of years went by.  The beautiful, directionless Lily floated down the river of life with nothing to tether to, and nothing to gain support from.  Perhaps the goddess took pity on her plight, or perhaps she saw in her something greater.  It's certainly unclear, but the hand of Delilah--goddess of Sun, Beauty, and Pleasure--scooped the flower from the river to care for it.  In a drugged haze Lily had found herself alongside a crystal-clear river.  She knelt by it and stared at her reflection, seeing the state that her recklessness had led her to.  Tearfully she asked for help, for guidance, and her prayers were answered with illumination.  She was infused with some measure of the power of the Divine, and the budding Oracle felt the subtle pull to the Sisterhood of the Ruby Maiden.  They took her in and helped her recover from her ordeals and learn the Dogma of their Goddess.

Ultimately Lily's place was never going to be a temple.  Instead she headed out into the wide world, fueled by an inner fire fueled by divine sunlight to express the Love and Pleasure of life, and the Beauty of the Sun.

A&A

Gateman

So, this is my first pathfinder sheet, so be gentle. Lemme know if something needs fixing and I'll do so immediately

Name: Rogar the fool
Race: Elder Dwarf
Class: Skald
Level: 2
Alignment: Neutral Good
Deity: Shelyn
Favored Class: Skald

Strength: 16 +3
Dexterity: 10 +0
Constitution: 12 +1 (+1 Racial modifier)
Intelligence: 8 -1
Wisdom: 14 +2 (+2 RM)
Charisma: 16 +3 (-2 RM)

-Traits-
Talented:You are a virtuoso musician, actor, or storyteller. You gain a +1 trait bonus on checks with a single Perform skill (Sing), and all Perform skills are always class skills for you.

Persuasive Performer: You can use any of your Perform skills in place of Diplomacy, not just Perform (keyboard instruments, oratory, string, or wind). If you do use Perform (keyboard instruments, oratory, string, or wind), you gain a +2 bonus on your check.

-Racial Traits-
+2 Constitution, +2 Wisdom, –2 Charisma: Dwarves are both tough and wise, but also a bit gruff.

Stubborn: Dwarves are renowned for their stubbornness. Dwarves with this racial trait receive a +2 racial bonus on Will saves to resist spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) schools. In addition, if they fail such a save, they receive another save 1 round later to prematurely end the effect (assuming it has a duration greater than 1 round). This second save is made at the same DC as the first. If the dwarf has a similar ability from another source (such as a rogue's slippery mind), he can only use one of these abilities per round, but he can try the other on the second round if the first reroll ability fails. This racial trait replaces hardy.

Surface Survivalist: Some dwarves have dwelt so long aboveground they have lost their ability to see at night. However, their adaptation to extreme environments allows them to treat wind conditions (when determining whether or not they are checked or blown away) and either hot or cold climates (choose one) as one step less severe. This racial trait replaces darkvision.

Medium: Dwarves are Medium creatures and receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.

Slow and Steady: Dwarves have a base speed of 20 feet, but their speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.

Defensive Training: Dwarves gain a +4 dodge bonus to AC against monsters of the giant subtype.

Hatred: Dwarves gain a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against humanoid creatures of the orc and goblinoid subtypes because of their special training against these hated foes.

Stability: Dwarves gain a +4 racial bonus to their Combat Maneuver Defense when resisting a bull rush or trip attempt while standing on the ground.

Stonecunning: Dwarves gain a +2 bonus on Perception checks to notice unusual stonework, such as traps and hidden doors located in stone walls or floors. They receive a check to notice such features whenever they pass within 10 feet of them, whether or not they are actively looking.

Weapon Familiarity: Dwarves are proficient with battleaxes, heavy picks, and warhammers, and treat any weapon with the word "dwarven" in its name as a martial weapon.

Languages: Dwarves begin play speaking Common and Dwarven. Dwarves with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Giant, Gnome, Goblin, Orc, Terran, and Undercommon.

-Class Features-
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A skald is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, as well as light armor, medium armor, and shields (except tower shields). A skald can cast skald spells while wearing light or medium armor and even while using a shield without incurring the normal arcane spell failure chance. This does not affect the arcane spell failure chance for arcane spells received from other classes. Like other arcane spellcasters, a skald wearing heavy armor incurs a chance of arcane spell failure if the spell in question has somatic components.

Bardic Knowledge (Ex): A skald adds 1/2 his class level (minimum 1) on all Knowledge checks, and can attempt all Knowledge checks untrained.

Cantrips: Skalds learn a number of cantrips, or 0-level spells, as noted on the table above. These spells are cast like any other spell, but they do not consume any slots and may be used again.

Spells: A skald casts arcane spells drawn from the bard spell list. He can cast any spell he knows without preparing it ahead of time. Every skald spell has a verbal component—these verbal components can take the form of song, recitation, or even nonverbal music like percussion. To learn or cast a spell, a skald must have a Charisma score equal to at least 10 + the spell's level. The saving throw DC against a skald's spell is 10 + the spell's level + the skald's Charisma modifier.

Like other spellcasters, a skald can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. His base daily spell allotment is given on the table above. In addition, he receives bonus spells per day if he has a high Charisma score.

A skald need not prepare his spells in advance. He can cast any spell he knows at any time, assuming he has not yet used up his allotment of spells per day for the spell's level.

Raging Song
A skald is trained to use music, oration, and similar performances to inspire his allies to feats of strength and ferocity. At 1st level, a skald can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier. For each level beyond 1st, he can use raging song for 2 additional rounds per day.

Starting a raging song is a standard action, but it can be maintained each round as a free action. A raging song cannot be disrupted, but it ends immediately if the skald is killed, paralyzed, stunned, knocked unconscious, or otherwise prevented from taking a free action each round to maintain it. A raging song counts as the bard's bardic performance special ability for any effect that affects bardic performances. A skald may learn bard masterpieces.

A raging song has audible components, but not visual components. Allies must be able to hear the skald for the song to have any effect on them. A deaf skald has a 20% chance to fail when attempting to use a raging song. If he fails this check, the attempt still counts against his daily limit.

When the skald begins a raging song and then on each ally's turn, if the ally can hear the raging song, that ally must decide whether to accept or refuse its effects. This is not an action. Unconscious allies automatically accept the song. If accepted, the raging song's effects on that ally last for that ally's turn or until the song ends, whichever comes first.

Inspired Rage
At 1st level, affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +1 morale bonus on Will saving throws, but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration. At 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the song's bonuses on Will saves increase by 1; the penalty to AC doesn't change. At 8th and 16th levels, the song's bonuses to Strength and Constitution increase by 2. (Unlike with the barbarian's rage ability, those affected are not fatigued after the song ends.)

Versatile Performance (Ex): At 2nd level, a skald can choose one category of Perform skill associated with the skald class (see below). He can use his modifier for that skill in place of his modifier for the associated skills listed below. When substituting in this way, the skald uses his total Perform skill modifier in place of the associated skill's modifier, whether or not he has ranks in that skill or if it is a class skill. At 7th level, and every 5 levels thereafter, the skald can select an additional category of Perform to substitute.

The categories of Perform and their associated skills are Oratory (Diplomacy, Sense Motive), Percussion (Handle Animal, Intimidate), Sing (Bluff, Sense Motive), String (Bluff, Diplomacy), and Wind (Diplomacy, Handle Animal).

Well-Versed (Ex): At 2nd level, the skald becomes less susceptible to sonic effects. The skald gains a +4 bonus on saving throws against bardic performance, as well as all sonic or language-dependent effects.

-Skills-
(+1 Favored Class bonus)
Sing 2
Storytelling 1
Handle Animal 2
Diplomacy 1
Use Magic Item 1
Spellcraft 1
Linguistics 1

Skald's Vigor ( While maintaining a raging song, you gain fast healing equal to the Strength bonus your song provides, starting in the round after you begin the song. If you stop maintaining your song, the fast healing ends, even if the effects of your song persist. )

Scribe Scroll ( You can create a scroll of any spell that you know. Scribing a scroll takes 2 hours if its base price is 250 gp or less, otherwise scribing a scroll takes 1 day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. To scribe a scroll, you must use up raw materials costing half of this base price. See the magic item creation rules in Magic Items for more information. )

Armor Class: 15
Initiative: 1d20
Hit Points: 23 (1d8 +2, 1 Favored Class Bonus)

Languages: Common, Dwarven,

Personality: Rogar is a jovial character, full of mirth and always ready to crack a joke. As a performer, he enjoys nothing more than being the center of attention. As such, he seems to focus on little that doesn't allow him to have fun, make others have fun, or make him some coin. It's hard to determine whether he's ever being serious or not, because damn near everything that he says is either a joke or delivered with the same tone as one. He tends to use this as a defense mechanism to hide his true emotions.

Brief History: Many say that they will run away and join the circus when they're a child, but Rogar actually did so. Hitching a ride on a passing caravan, he left his home at a young age and took on the role of a performer. He spent almost four decades with a travelling circus, learning a little bit of everything, always trying to put together a better show for his troupe. Once he'd become certain enough in his abilities, he struck out on his own, planning to make a name for himself and become a great performer.

When raiders attacked Evermeet, he was unfortunate enough to be there. Seeing the destruction firsthand, he ran as fast as stubby legs could carry him. The experience changed him, and made him aware, for once, that he had to do more. He could no longer stand by and watch what was happening, nor could he continue running. When the attacks found him again, he joined the fray with the city guards, his powerful voice rising above the cacophony of combat to embolden the guard. Several fell that day, but the day was won. He left soon after, offering nightly performances in exchange for a seat on a merchant's caravan. After all, he still dreams of being a famous performer, and what faster way is there than to be a hero?

Look up the Favored Class bonus.  If your favored class is Skald, you get to choose from a variety of bonuses for each level you take in it... +1 skill point and +1 hit point are the most popular.  It's a way to reward people who don't multi-class.

I believe that HP are max at each level, so you'd have 8+2 at level 1 and 8+2 for level 2, 20 total, + any favored class bonuses you put in there.

12 is pretty low for Cha, since your spells depend on it.  You might swap the Con and Cha numbers, and use the Favored Class bonus to bring up your hit points.

8 Dex can be a problem, since it'll give you a -1 to your armor class.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't know about the favored class bonuses, and I thought you roll a d8 to up your health on each level up, hence the somewhat squishy health pool. I kinda figured dex would be a decent dump stat, but I might reconsider.

Chulanowa

At first level, you get the full 8 hit points from your hit die. And Laughing Hyena is also allowing you to just have max hit points for level 2. You also gain your constitution bonus worth of hit points at each level. Since you have 18 Constitution (16 base, +2 racial bonus) you have a Constitution bonus of +4. Meaning that just from your hit dice and constitution, you have 24 hit points (8+4 for level 1, 8+4 for level 2)

At level 1, you choose a favored class. Every time you take a level in that class, you can gain either +1 hit point, +1 skill rank, or some bonus particular to your race. In the case of a Dwarf Skald, that would be...
QuoteReduce the arcane spell failure chance for casting skald spells when wearing heavy armor by 1%. Once the total reduction reaches 10%, the skald also receives Heavy Armor Proficiency (if the skald does not already possess it).

Also, since you get proficiency in medium armor and shields, and skalds don't have any real reason to use ranged combat low dex won't hurt you too badly.

And finally, you should only have Scribe Scroll and one other feat; in Pathfinder, you gain a single feat at level 1, then every two levels after. So, 1,3, 5, 7, etc.

build seems solid to me - that might just be the 18 con though (ba-dum-TISH!) The Charisma will be a minor pain; wehn you gain a +1 ability score (every four levels) throw it into Charisma; you'll manage to keep up with your spell levels. 6 rounds of raging song at level 2 isn't bad, either. For which spells you should take, look at "buff" sort of spells; a low Charisma means that htey will eb easier for enemies to save against, so helping your team will likely work better than trying to hurt hte enemy, in this case.

Alright, so before I read that, I'd edited slightly to give myself more dex and less constitution. Went back and took out the extra feat, and sorted out my traits. Other than that, I think I've still got a good build. Thanks for the help clearing things up

Chulanowa

So, I'm set up for a male Agathion-Blooded (Cervinal) Aasimar. Because really I want to play a faun, but that doesn't seem to be an option in Pathfinder. bah, humbug.

Just need to decide on Class for one of these guys.

Both clearly Nature-y... which doesn't really narrow it down  ;D Could be a druid. Could be a Brown-Fur Arcanist. Could be a gunslinger with ranks in Profession: Garderner, you never know!

The hour is almost upon us. I am writing down the beginnings of your journey and I am eager to see what exactly transpires. But we are still missing applicants sheets and the deadline is coming up fast. I do hope that we do not have other withdrawals but I will understand that this lengthy period of waiting can kill muse. Hopefully that is not the case. In the meantime I am making selections from applicants. Know that I was looking for both cohesion in party, what will make the most communication for players. But most importantly I was looking for those applicants whom either expanded upon the lore via communications with me such as pantheon and locations. Or took lore into account for their backstory. Even with a generous party composition of six, I am going to have to make tough choices.

Re Z L

All done!

Moved the character sheet to Mythweavers and finished out all of the minor details.

Laughing Hyena

Alright then, its time for me to make my decisions, and because we have a few people running late I will give this to the end of midnight eastern time to make the final two people for the party. However four people have been decided upon after much deliberation and reasoning. So do not fret if you have not been called up. There are still two more people yet to be named. Here are the first four whom made it in.

TF Commando helped to expand the city of Evermeets upper class and created a rather interesting contract for the party I intend to have, and gives a unique perspective from the upper classmen of questionable tastes. Hence Lady Pasara the Sorceress is in.

Latooni is a familiar face and I know what to expect but they also took the time to invest into the lore from a untouched section of the campaign, and one of this I am interested in exploring. Hence the monk Bell Lightfoot makes it into the party.

Kimmy, perhaps had the greatest effect, giving me a reason to detail some of the pantheon in greater detail, and as impacted the lore well before the first post in the adventure. This is greatly appreciated and as such her paladin Maxine is in the group.

Re Z L, showed a different perspective from the same pantheon, giving us an oracle that will give great party contract of people with differing origins and opinions about the same goddess that they are devoted towards. Hence I award the fourth position in the group to the oracle Lily.

@spins@ Congrats & Good luck to everyone!

Do we have an O.O.C. thread to chatter in yet?

Sheet is not completely done - RL caught up with me at the last minute, so I had to shop this out as quick as I could  >:( But I got your stuff filled out!

Name: Ogzi Thorn
Race: Half-Orc
Class: Barbarian 1 / Rogue 1 (Both Unchained)
Level: 2
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Background: Former tribesman

Strength: 14
Dexterity: 18 (16+2)
Constitution: 16
Intelligence: 10
Wisdom: 8
Charisma: 12

-Traits- (Select Two Traits ; They cannot be from the Same Background)
• Fate's Favored
• Auspicious Tattoo

-Skills-
Acrobatics 1, Bluff 2, Diplomacy 1, Disable Device 1, Intimidate 1, Nature 1, Perception 2, Stealth 1, Survival 2

-Feats
• 1st: Two-Weapon Fighting
• Class Bonus: Weapon Finesse

-Weapons and Magic-

Armor Class: 18
Initiative: +4
Hit Points: 26 (1d8+3, 1d12+3)

Languages: Common, Orcish

Personality: Though wary of strangers, Ogzi makes friends quickly (maybe so long on his own has something to do with that.) He's self-assured to the point of cockiness, and like many young men his age, doesn't really understand that he can fail. He's eager to join combat, though more due to the rush and opportunity to show off, than any actual like of hurting people. Due to his past, he's suspicious of magic, particularly magic of a divine nature. He's also not a huge fan of orcs, for the same reason. The "Civilized" world still puzzles him, since it lacks any of the rhythms and basic understandings of hte world he's known up until now. He has a strong fondness for animals, identifying more with most horses and dogs than he does with a lot of people he's met in the cities.

Brief History:
Ogzi's story begins among a tribe of orcs amid the people of the Tantamar plains. The seer at his birth proclaimed that due to his mixed nature, he would never be a warrior, and htat Ogzi should be remanded to the tribe's shaman's. And so it was. Whether by taking a stronger inheritance from his human father, or due to the shaman's training, he grew up tough, but not especially strong. Every day a new ritual awaited him, a new burden to bear, more skin cut and painted with his tribe's marks.

Ogzi strove to be like the other orcs; big, strong, warlike, ferocious. he never quite matched up to them. Usually he never even came close, and the other males joked that his mother was really a goblin. After a while of taunts of this nature, he decided, alright, let's fight like a goblin; His orcish "peers," so used to trouncing the boy with brute strength, were unpleasantly surprised when he began fighting dirty, using his wits and agility against them. of course, nothing is angry like an orc who took a good hit to the nuts, so Ogzi still got his share of batterings and broken bones.

Finally, he was fed up with the life he suffered; to be abused and near-tortured by the shamans on the one hand, then to be bullied and beaten by warriors on the other. it was under a new moon that he slipped away into the deeper hills of the grasslands, to live as his own prerogatives told him. And so he has, hunting, fishing, gathering his own food and building shelters to keep out of the plains' sometimes-fierce weather.

It was among the humans and scattered half-elves of those lands that he woudl find something resembling acceptance. THough the greenskin side of his blood left him dubious in the eyes of these people, his talents at tracking, thinking, and just brute surviving made him invaluable as a scout, and his heritage and skill with language made him a useful go-between for the assorted tribes. Though he was without a "true" tribe now, he had a life, and a position in their society.

It was one of these missions that took him into Edenia, seeking a warrior who had traded in his furs for the soft cloths of the "civilized" peoples; Denodir's mathron had died, and the man was needed to help decide how to apportion her belongings. However, Ogzi found the lure of the "civilized" lands himself, and opted to stay within the kingdom for a time. It was just recently that word came back of bandits and the deprivation htey are causing...

Appearance: Ogzi isn't like your other half-orcs. His muscles don't bulge, his teeth don't jut, and he can certainly speak better than a grunt here and there. Rather, he's a lithe, agile young man, green skin taut over lean muscle. Pointed ears poke through wild hair that combines shades of green, brown, and black, save for a pale streak noting where a scar lies on his scalp. He's quick to smile and laugh - or to growl and snap, putting his sharper-than-human teeth on display either way. he usually wears rather little by way of clothing or armor when he can, and his skin shows the scratches and bruises of a life in the wilderness. Exposed on his left side is a winding tattoo, the same yellow-orange shade as his eyes.

Laughing Hyena

Muse is in for a number of reasons. The first and most important was he was the one that spurred me on to try and run a campaign so if it wasn't for him, I might not have done this campaign interest thread. So I would be a bit of a jerk if I excluded him for the game he was looking forward to the most. So his elven evoker Meresqel Foamflower is in.

The last person in question was ungodly hard to pick from and it is the reason why I delayed. I knew what was coming and took the time to deliberate. If there was any way I could have gotten both people in, I would have.

Alrighty, it is time I think to make my decision and this took quite some time as I was flipping back and forth between two people. Namely Ogzi (Chulanova) and Rogar (Gateman) as both have their good sides and aspects to them. Both made use of the lore for backgrounds and both have interesting personalities to bring to the party. There was so many reasons to pick one over the other.

Ultimately I went with Ogzi (Chulanova) due to his decision to pick a character and location that I am more interested in exploring and brings more story opportunities to the table. The other point is that he is filling a potentially critical role here and I cannot simply ignore that fact. It allows me to incorporate more types of encounters into the game.

This decision hurt me deeply since Iw anted both of you in the game. I apologize to all whom posted a character and didn't get in. I also hope this doesn't dissuade you from joining another game if I am hosting.

Gateman

No harm done, keep the idiot dwarf in mind for the next campaign though. Good luck against the forces of evil ^^
