OOC: https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=244637.0

It is the time of the Old Republic, when war was a constant in the Galaxy, with armies of the Republic and Empire facing each others on countless worlds. One of those worlds is Balmorra, a factory planet comprised of industrial settlements, mountains, forests and plains, out on the fringe of the Core Worlds. The importance of this world was obvious: whoever can control the weapons and ships produced by those factories would have a tremendous advantage in the war. So as a result, the world is a battle ground, where skirmishes are happening all over its surface. Too valuable to bombard from orbit, instead both sides have to get dirty and fight the opponent, attempting to secure the planet for their side. But war is a nasty business. Often, simply killing your enemy is not the worse that can happen to them. Among the ruined buildings, the hidden corners, behind a cliff, unspeakable acts may be happening...

For this RP, I was thinking of a battleground in the Star Wars: The Old Republic universe. Basically, there would be two teams spread around the area, and people could engage each other, disable (hopefully no outright killing) the enemy and then get creative. Will you attempt to convert them to your side with your mind? Will you engage in torture? Turn them into slaves? Or will you find an irresistible young fighter and make them submit through whatever kink you can think of? The choice is yours.

This will be a freeform game, so OOC communication is a must. I highly advise that people talk in OOC before engaging an enemy, or stumbling into ongoing engagements. But since this is a free for all battleground, both pairing and jumping into the action is encouraged. There will be no rolling, it's expected that the outcome of any encounter will be based on IC acts and creativity. This is a NC game, but please respect the limits of the player.

I'm thinking this scenario can go ahead if we get at least 6 players. Post if interested!

I am definitely interested!!!

Character sheet:

Image:

Name: Teh'kuno Salaris

Class: Smuggler (Republic)

Age: 20

Bio: Teh'kuno....Teh as her friends call her...is all about charisma. An escaped slave at the age of 5, Teh left the planet of Nar Shadaa, and left the life of a spice runner to stow away on a smugglers ship. She knew from watching that if she didn't leave, she would end up a dancer or worse. And so she found herself as a cabin girl upon the the freighter Lucky Lady.

The freighters name proved to be her calling. She ended up growing up on the ship, becoming the protege of the captain, a man known simply as "Gunner". Gunner taught her all the tricks of the trade...how to pilot, outrun Imperial and Republic blockades alike, and the fine art of "smooth talking". She learned it all, and was quick to implement what she knew as she was given more and more freedom.

It was while on Balmorra that the crew of the Lucky Lady found themselves at odds. A sabacc game gone bad. Soon voices were raised, weapons were drawn. When it was over, Teh found herself alone again. Her ship taken, her crew members dead.

Teh'kuno was quick to try and find a new way....a way that might get her a new ship. She gained contact with the resistance against the Empire, and began to work as a smuggler, finding supplies and weapons to and from different camps around the planet.

Equipment: speeder, DH-17 blasters (two). Pack with gamma grenades, bedroll, sabacc cards, food, and water.

Limits: she has no ability in the force. She's quick, but has no real armor.

ThisOneGal

Tentative interest as a female human Imperial Agent.

Nice to see interest!

Here's my character for the game:

Name: Kathie Liborn

Class: Sith Apprentice

Age: 22

Bio: Kathie, or Kat as she's known to her friends, is a Sith Apprentice to a powerful Sith Lord. She went through the Korriban academy and proved herself a very capable Sith by killing all of her classmates and being the only one of her group left at the end, catching the eye of an influential Darth Lord who decided to take her as an apprentice. Kat is well versed in melee combat with her double sided lightsaber, and has a powerful connection to the Force. She is renowned to be devious and cruel to her enemies, but also has a playful side as well. She prefers to incapacitate instead of killing, but not for any merciful reason. Instead, she enjoy playing with her preys as much as she can before disposing of them.

While Kat has earned the fear and respect of many, she is always trying to prove herself to her difficult master. Failure earns her great punishments, so she always tries her best to succeed in whatever mission she is assigned to. Right now, this means conquering Balmorra. And if she needs to vanquish the whole planet by herself to please her master, she intend to do it. As a result, despite her great power, she can be overconfident and a bit naive at times.

Equipment: Kathie wears a fairly skimpy armor covering only the bare necessities. She also carries her double lightsaber on her hip. She doesn't rely on many more items, instead using the Force to vanquish her opponents.

Limits: Kathie is a very kinky creature with few IC limits other than death and maiming.

Sinestra

Would there be a limit to absolutely only having 1 sith, 1 jedi, smuggler etc etc?

Because I've REALLY been looking to play a Sith and it looks like someone's already beat me to that. Lol

ShadowOfTheDay

Super interested in being the bounty hunter for the dark side! I'll try to get a char sheet up ASAP

Blackjack

As much as I despise Balmorra on TOR (Imp side, don't mind it so much with the Pubs? :/) I'm in!

Character sheet:

Image: Here! Only she has red hair instead of black and much brighter, more vivid green eyes.

Name: Kallian 'Kallie' Tabris

Class: Jedi Sage

Age: 27

Bio: Kallie was born to farms on Naboo, she led a boring, uninteresting life with her twin brother, Alim and they would spend many a day AND night fishing or playing in the rivers near to the Tabris homestead. One day, Alim ventured too far into the forest and was set upon by a wild creature. Kallie, brave with the courage of youth, managed to calm the beast and get it to flee. Something that would have been impossible had she not been in tune with the Force. A visiting Master had sensed her powers and suggested that she leave with him to Tython. Kallie was what the Master's would describe as a 'curious' child, which was Jedi code for 'Impossible to teach' yet her Master taught her all the same and she grew into a strong, competent woman. She would often lead by her heart rather than her head sometimes but her loyalty to the Order and to the Republic was unquestionable. She passed the Padawan trials and was gifted with the task of heading to the war on Balmorra, Grandmaster Satele Shan offering the words that her undying nature would show the Balmorra citizens that the Order wishes to stand with them and not stand on them...

Equipment: The singular, green bladed lightsabre, typical of a Consular, long, flowing creamy robes with a brown tunic underneath it. She wears leather bracers from her homeworld, something to ground her, as her Master had once said.

Limits: IC limits, very much a 'neutral to chaotic good'. As soon as someone surrenders Kallie considers the fight through and done. Dislikes bullying and cruelty and will stand up for those who can't defend themselves.

elfguy

No it doesn't have to be one of each class, these are just the classes available. There isn't an issue with having more than one of a class, I'd just like to get a group that is fairly balanced.

Sinestra

Alright, count me in for a Sith Juggernaut. I'll probably just screenshot my SWTOR character. LOL

Although, it does look like we're probably going to have a game of all-women. Hrmm.

Name   Risha Vassic
Class  Imperial Agent
Age  24
Equipment  Stealth Generator, Vibroblade, Blaster Rifle, 'Medical' Droid
Bio  Audentes Fortuna Imperii

After being conscripted into the Imperial military, Risha was quickly appropriated by Imperial Intelligence as a field agent. Although not the most physically capable or skilled operative, her situational awareness, intelligence, loyalty and sheer willpower have marked her as a useful implement of Intelligence's will. On an operational and tactical level, she is often responsible for delivering a crippling/decisive blow to the enemy, but not for delivering the killing blow.

Prior to conscription, Risha was orphaned at a young age by the war. Her parents were unsuccessful smugglers that died trying to run a Sith blockade. She quickly became a loyal member after seeing the Empire's ability to follow through on its promises, unlike the Republic. She takes special pleasure in taking out Jedi, witnessing them fall because of their utter failure to protect her family and recognize her as a threat.

Risha believes in the Empire, if not the Sith. Their devotion to inefficient excesses has more than once resulted in them squandering an advantage or an opportunity she or Imperial Intelligence had spent time and effort setting up.

Limits
IC: She's an Imperial Agent of the Sith Empire. Only failure is unacceptable.
OOC: Gore, snuff, scat and the like.

Blackjack

Cool characters so far :D

If needs be, I can change Kallie to Alim to add some bantha sausage to the party?

Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide
In his suit:
Spoiler: Click to Show/Hide

Name: Ghurk Wress

Class: Bounty Hunter

Age: 25

Bio: Now Ghurk Wress definitely didn't have a very normal childhood in consideration to most, his mother dying at his birth and beginning his battle training under his father at the age of five.  Through the years he quickly began to grow in skill, going with his father on his first bounty hunter job at the age of 16, since then he has acquired a good amount of fame for his skill and the fact he will do basically any job, for the right price.

At 22 his father died while out on a mission to hunt down some jedi, enraged, Ghurk headed out to commit his first kill for free, the jedi that killed him, blowing up the very building in which he was.  Of course, this method of killing ended up being quite costly, but it also drew some attention from the Empire, and with the money they offered for regular jobs, how could he resist.

Ever since he has been working jobs for them, rigging battles, acting as support, or just plain taking out the opposition, sure he's had a few close one's, but in the end, Ghurk always comes out on top.

Equipment: Jet-pack, Mandalorian light armor(equipped with night vision), single shot mini missile launcher, Vibroblade, DLT-19 blaster, blaster pistol, 2 thermal detonators, a ship meant for up to four people, quick patch-up kit, a multitude of explosive charges.

Limits: Fighting: No force and his jet pack could be a hazard with a well-aimed shot
Sex: Not much could turn away this Mandalorian from an intimate encounter withe the exception of Gore, Vore, too much pain, and toilet play.

Sinestra

#12
Name: Lord Allura of the Sith Empire
Race: Human (Cyborg)
Class: Sith (Juggernaut)
Age: 31
Personality: Allura is a creature of passion. However unlike most other Sith, her outward appearance seems to remain composed. She takes ultimate pride in testing herself against Jedi, attempting to corrupt them, force them to work against their precious 'Code'. Against her opponents in combat she focuses primarily on a Soresu-style of combat. Her use of the force to augment her considerable defenses and armor. Capable of using the force to seemingly catch lightsabers in her bare hands, deliberately parrying them with her bare skin etc in an attempt to do one thing... inflict Hopelessness against her foes. By appearing an unstoppable juggernaut, she attempts to strike fear into her enemies. For this reason much of her true offensive tactics are considerably basic and slow or flashy and ornate. If caught without her armor and personal shield generator, she's likely to forgo defense entirely and leap to the attack in Ataru Form in an attempt to end the fight before her opponent has a chance to mount a deadly offense.
Equipment: A large collection of armed and unarmed droids (including several HK-series, medical, scouting, piloting etc), dual phase soresu lightsaber, dual phase ataru lightsaber, powered cortosis battle armor, Fury-class Interceptor Starship, variety of speeder-vehicles, cybernetic enhancements, personal shield generator, personal items and effects, large collection of 'intimate items', Authority in the Empire.

Bio: Born aboard an Imperial capital ship, the child who would later become "Lord Allura of the Sith" was a headstrong, inquisitive and unrestrainable bundle of energy and excitement. The child of imperial officers, she grew up surrounded by authority and the status quo of the Empire. Despite her rebellious years of youth, her outlook on life almost seemed to change overnight when great bursts of force manifestations began manifesting around her. Uncontrolled at first, but soon tests proved what many in her scholastic academy had feared. The young woman was force sensitive. Though a relief to her parents to have the child spirited away for 'awhile', the young girl did not fully comprehend her situation until she eventually arrived upon Korriban. Faced with the realities of the Sith Academy she threw herself heedlessly into the teachings, yet still used a remarkable amount of subtly. Once the years of training, fellow child-slaughter and trials were complete, the young woman found herself submitting to a chosen Master and thrown into the galaxy's politics.

In the years that followed very little stood in the young woman's way. She served her Master dutifully, protected him as he underwent augmentations and proved herself strangely loyal yet capable of remarkable acts of politicing and manipulation. She witnessed a half-dozen apprentices come and go of her Master, and yet each time she would be used as an instrument in their disposal when they had outlived their use to her Master. She knew that eventually her Master would seek to dispose of her as well, it was a fact she had learned at the academy. In the end, after years of subtle planning and manipulation, traveling the galaxy and fighting the efforts of the Republic, she happened across a young Jedi knight aboard a transport ship leaving Alderaan. Drawn to one another by the force, the two clashed with words before, in a moment of inspiration, the Sith had an idea.

Feeling the young padawan's weakness within the force, Allura played off the padawan's desire to impress her master, to impress the Jedi council itself. It took little time to convince the padawan that she could help her do just that, that Allura herself wished to escape from the Sith but could not do so as long as her Master lived. Her skill with the force concealing a lie about a cranial implant that could be triggered to kill her if her Master discovered her treachery. The two struck a bargain. The padawan would help the Sith 'escape' her Master. Returning to her Master, Allura continued to serve him, her intentions concealed behind the veil of the force as she had no immediate desire to attack him. It was weeks later, after a fateful battle, when a damaged implant in her Master needed to be repaired. Seizing the opportunity, Allura organized her Master's surgery and sent a message to her Jedi 'friend'. The trap had finally been set.

On the day of the surgery Allura once again was present on the secluded medical space station near the boarder of the Empire's space. Staffed mostly by droids and the lesser-apprentices and servants of her Master, Allura's smile grew as a battle-damaged imperial transport made contact, declaring a medical emergency and requesting to dock. Overriding the droid's programmed responses, Allura granted the transport permission to dock. The voice transmitting the request a familiar young voice. Within seconds of the transport docking a team of Jedi burst through the airlock, cutting down droids and security response teams in seconds. With her feet up on the control console Allura waited as the Jedi strike team cut a swath into the heart of the medical station to where her Master was undergoing the procedure. Watching the security monitors, it was when she heard the Jedi declare they wanted to take her Master alive that she knew her plan was about to fail.

Thinking quickly she slammed the emergency medical protocols into action, sealing the medbays and starting the self destruct sequence. Caring or knowing little the fate of the Jedi, Allura retreated to her starship, commanded the droids in her Master's starship to download the station's database and flee with her. In the chaos Allura never witnessed the imperial transport break away from the station and make for the border, its flight path awkward as if being controlled by an unskilled panicking pilot. In the days that followed Allura returned to Dromund Kaas and turned over the data from the medical station. Her Master and his other apprentices dead, along with a dozen or so Jedi confirmed by the station's sensors, she was heralded as a hero by Imperial authorities, but yet other Sith knew all too well the circumstances were too convenient. There was little reason for the surgery to be conducted on the specific station, little reason for Jedi to attack. Immediately called before the Dark Council to answer these questions, it was a panic-fueled lie that finally set her free. Faced with the towering form of Darth Marr glaring at her, Allura 'confessed' that her Master had been planning to defect to the Republic, and it was she who could not go through with the defection and so destroyed the station. When asked why she did not come forth to the council with this news, she declared that a cranial implant designed to kill her on her Master's command had been implanted inside her.

The gamble worked, but suspicions still sat within several members of the Dark Council, yet surprisingly Darth Marr did not share those suspicions. For her service Allura was risen to the title of Lord and congratulated on doing the Empire a great service. Departing Korriban aboard her ship, the Sith disappeared from public life for some time, doing what Sith Lords are apt, building a power structure from nothing and solidifying her own holdings, or in this case taking control of her Master's remaining assets. It was some years later that Allura's starship would descend upon the world of Balmorra shortly after the Republic withdrew. Why she had come, no one within the Empire seemed to know, but one thing seemed for sure. Her every word and thought was toward discovering Jedi influence on Balmorra, and she quickly began wielding all the power of the Empire to do just that.

Limits:IC and OOC there's little (age, scat, gore, vore, snuff) that I or Allura are uncomfortable with. IC the character is heavily into Domination, power, authority, humiliating others, BDSM etc. OOC wise I lean more towards heavy BDSM, submissive, humiliation, petplay and pretty much the entire spectrum other than the listed limits. The character will take a LOT to get to that point, and I'm looking to see where things go in the duality of Character vs Player.

I think I could get into this. I would love to play a character that ends up hunted by all the things. Looking through what is already there, I see what looks to be more dark side aligned characters. I would presume that being "neutral" in some way is not possible? I would have wanted to play an apprentice of the jedi order that was left in a situation where her master was killed and now my character could be seduced by either side of the force?

I see so many options here.. I might not be able to pick just one. Is there a limitation on the characters that I am allowed to make? Can I make more than one?

elfguy

Neutral wouldn't really work on a battlefield. Right now we're 4 Imperial and 2 Republic, so if you're unsure I recommend Republic. It doesn't mean you have to be all nice and friendly, there can be of all types on both sides.

As for character limit, I'd rather you start with just 1 character for now. If down the line you'd like to add another to the play then that's fine.
----

freeko

Will do. I guess I just need to hope my smuggler that I plan on making ends up getting every inch of her along with her ship explored.

Put me down for a "light side" smuggler. I have a few other character concepts to work on tonight so I might end up doing it tomorrow. Depends on how burned out i get then it may take a nap for me to recover a bit and start on this one. No later than Tuesday I hope otherwise I will be upset with myself.

WhatLiesAbove

Republic is gonna have more smugglers than anything else lol.

We run this republic!

Sinestra

Finally got a chance to flesh out my character's background more. Eager to start.

Now, lets just see who runs this planet. Sneaky backstabbing Republics, or the honest and wholesome cookie-and-pizza having Empire. ;)
"I don't mind that most fictional women look like they have F cups at minimum. I do, however, mind that their brains aren't nearly as... 'developed'."

Swashbuckler

Ooooo, SWTOR....

Is the game still taking people?  I'd love to play whichever side needs more.  I admit to have lots of characters on both sides I'd dearly love to explore more

ShadowOfTheDay

Wow, I'm not sure if Ghurk is really lucky being the only guy so far, or really unlucky, especially since he's possibly under the orders and/or pay of two of them and might get his butt kicked by the other two and has an unknown stance with the last

elfguy

We're still open to new characters, I'm hoping to get started before the weekend, assuming those who expressed interest post a character sheet.

As for class balance, I'm not really concerned. This isn't a system game so there isn't a strict set of attributes or skills we have to adhere to. I'm more concerned about faction balance, and would like to have a similar amount of Republic vs Imperial.
----

WhatLiesAbove

Do we have balance? Looking at character sheets, I'm seeing two republic and four imperials.

freeko

#22
I am making a republic character but it is the last on my list to do. At least there is only one PF character left to do mow, so I should get it done tomorrow. That and I want to find a decent 3d model of a sci-fi pistol for my character render. Though with no one playing a resistance fighter, I might go with that instead of smuggler just because.

If somone else joins the republic side, that woyld make it four on each side. Though i would not mind some 4 on 3 action either.

Sinestra

Just a quick side question, the storyline on-planet in SWTOR is that the republic has "Officially" pulled out of Balmorra to avoid reigniting the War, but the Empire and the freedom-fighters of Balmorra both know they're still around but with more spec-ops capacity. Is this the storyline that you're running with?

Because on the Republic side it would seem kind of interesting to play a Trooper or something who's "Given Up the Republic" to help the people of Balmorra, secret supply drops, closed door meetings, spy ops etc etc.

Just throwing out ideas for our soon-to-be-crushed friends. ;)
"I don't mind that most fictional women look like they have F cups at minimum. I do, however, mind that their brains aren't nearly as... 'developed'."

Zaer Darkwail

I have interest for last spot in republic side; playing a grey jedi knight which acts on bit espionage sort deal and has sort reputation which may hint he may had defected/disappeared from the order (it's in truth he is there to support Balmorra because personal interests doing so than either Reps or Jedi Council saying so). Sort of unorthodox jedi knight.
