I was thinking an female alternate of Ryu if that role still isn't taken? If not Teepo is fine. As for being sealed in Chrysm, sure :D Possibly her parents foresaw the massacre of their kind by Myra/Tyr and her Guardians and took the initiative to protect her from certain death.

I'm not quite sure if the role's taken or not; Laughing Hyena originally said he would play Ryu, but he hasn't replied in quite a while, so I'm not sure if he's still interested at all.

Appearance can be a written description (as long as it's thorough enough), a picture, or both. Background doesn't need to be super long, but should at least explain why they are where they are. The last section is a little ambiguous, but the idea is that that's where you'd put the general role the character would fill in a party, like 'fighter' or 'black mage', or you might instead have a summary of their abilities, i.e. Rei might be something like 'very agile fighter with thief skills and lightning magic'.

Sooo, I don't know, we aren't exactly going anywhere fast, but for what it's worth it might not hurt to make at least a rough draft of your (speaking to everyone) ideal character, leaving a little room for flexibility in the backstory and whatnot based on what we end up doing.

I am still here and interested in playing. Out of curiousity how many characters will a player be allowed to have, as from a primary one? I am still interested in playing a female Ryu if that is still at all possible.  I was wondering though how closely will this rp mirror BoF3?

Well, I'm used to games with 1 character/person, but if a player had the motivation I don't see why they couldn't play more, with maybe three being the limit. As for how closely it'll mirror BoF 3, I don't know. If we're including canon characters though, genderswapped or otherwise, then I'd think that we'd just follow the story, more or less, or at least some particular part of it.

I'd sort of been quiet because I tend to view character creation as a really effort-intensive thing. :/  I'd been holding off because I wanted to see how much effort others were going to put into their characters.  As far as running multiple characters go, I'm pretty used to the one player one character thing also.

Keeping original genders ain't that important; the original idea for this was basically just a smexy, genderswapped BoF 3 roleplay.

I think I've only seen ones for Ryu 1, 2, and 4. None of Ryu 3 or 5 for some reason.
