Shadowrun one-on-one (freeform)

Since shadowrun as a game doesn't seem to work (tried both a rpol and here) I'm now looking for a writing partner for a shadowrun one-on-one (freeform).
Any preference is to play with a female other than that... shoot me ideas.

It's been quite the long while since I've played ShadowRun.  *smirks*  17 years to be exact.  But, I've always liked the setting.  I'll think about this and see if I can't come up with a scenario or three.

Hmmm.  Probably a merc.  Human.  I don't think I coudl pull of a decker, even on my best day.  Heh.

Hmmm, probably adept, though not sure of that at the moment.  Not cybered, never got into playing that very much.  Either adept or normal.  Human grunt type.  Hack and slash mostly.  Little finesse, a lot of talk.  Heh.  Kind of like me.  *grins*

Don't think there'd be anything non-consentual, so Midtones should work well.  I'm up for whatever you might have in mind, though.

Midtones it is... I would need a name and some sort of list of what she can do, but then you could do that in your first post. My first post could be a setting post. 17 years ago... 2nd ed? 1st?

First edition for me.  Don't remember the char sheet or stats or anything, but I might be able to work that up, a pseudo char sheet.  heh.

It'll take a bit for me to figure that out, but yeah, wherever.  When I played we were in Seattle, setting wise, but I'm cool with wherever.

Don't feel as we should go making a character by the rules just plot out what she is able to do then run it from there.

Grrrr.  As assinine as this is, I'm going to have to withdraw before we even begin.  I'm still very interested, but my time is tight.  If you can find someone else who would be able to post more frequently, more reliably, you might want to do that. 

I've got another PT (physical therapy) session today and those usually knock me on my butt for a few days.  I'll still work up a character and PM you with the details, but if you find someone more reliable, I fully understand.  I won't have hurt feelings or anything.
