Dawn Over A New World

Inspired both by my musical playlist, and some of my recent Q and A sessions, a new RP idea.

World order has collapsed, and total anarchy has broken out. Nowhere is safe, as everywhere there is savage fighting over a fast dwindling pool of resources. Rather than take part in the general bedlam, some have decided to retreat into the comparative safety of an underground cave network.

On the surface above, war rages unchecked, and in the wake of the devastation, the surface dwellers are driven to the point of extinction. Daring to emerge from their underground shelters only years after the last seismic upheavals caused by the continuous strafing blitzkriegs taking place above, the cave dwellers emerge into an empty, devastated world full of despair... And the promise of renewal.

How will the cave dwellers shape this untamed frontier? How will the few stragglers who have managed to survive the holocaust of carnage above react to their estranged fellows? Two people, one who has dwelt on the surface throughout the terrible end of civilization, and helped their fellows survive, and one who has become a trusted leader among the cave dwellers, will help to shape the future of humankind.

If you are interested in playing either of the roles described here, post with which role you want, and if we both feel like we are a good fit to RP together, we will get the story rolling!

It's still kinda rough, but one idea is of a girl named Nevaeh. She has seen the destruction that has occured and went into hiding after her mother went missing. No one knows where she made refuge but when she emerged from her hiding place the entire world was in great chaos. She begans to explore the remains of the city she once lived in when she discovers a strange group of people in a dark alley.

Nevaeh has weaponry on hand, and is about to use them but halts when the groups says that they lived underground during the destruction. She wants to hear them out but is having a difficult time believing them: her entire city has been destroyed, who is her enemy and who is her ally??

How does that sound? ^_^
