Reposted largely from my post in the Superheroes VS Villians OOC thread (shameless plug! Come dress up in costumes with us :D).

I'm sure you guys have a bunch of these chaps in the U.S. This documentary is eye-gougingly cringe-worthy...then eye-wateringly heartwarming. I'm a macho type when it comes to things in Real Life, but I nearly turned on the waterworks at one point. You'll know which.

Wasn't there quite a famous one in America? Hasn't he since been stabbed or something?

I want to find Noir and give him a big hug. Strangely, in a perverse twist of fate that only the gorgeousness of reality can serve up, being the most utterly pathetic superhero makes him actually the most heroic.
