I don't feel the least like a bad person for saying I hope it chews up their collective ass and spits it out like a week old stick of gum. (I really have no creativity)

I pisses me off the red man has to deal with this shit still.

Oklahoma County deputy sheriff fired after rape allegation

This does not make me feel confident about Oklahoma's police forces.

is sure Blythe said something but is distracted by that avatar.

It is always extra sad when the police do this kind of shit, they are the ones we turn to when it happens to us after all. At least those that report it, while the rest of us just crawl away to hide. I mean we all know there are bad cops, but things like this at least to me hit home harder.

Bly's article is actually a very good sign in law enforcement. Yes it's pretty nasty that a cop would behave such a way under any circumstances, however this is a very proactive and appropriate response from a police administrator which is dangerously rare in American police forces.

Two UK scientists come up with a design for electric power supply that could make an ordinary home battery last for a billion years. Not for your smartphone or hair drier, but perfect for sensors and wearable devices that have to remain on answer mode for a very long time and with low risk of failure. The new concept for getting the power off the battery into the device can be printed on to almost any kind of material - paper, plastic, glass, skin - great for use within the internet-of-things, and on board interstellar space probes.

I can't help wondering if it would even survive fossilization of the human, animal or plant it was grafted onto.

OoOhh that's genius!

I wonder how effective the design might be for things like pacemakers?

and now Duterte is throwing a tantrum because the US has halted weapon sales to the Phillipines.

::) Oh I wonder why?

And he hints that he might turn to Russia and china for his weapon deals.....fine go ahead :P Not like Phillipines is the only place we sell our products to.

Usually the US couldn't care less about who they sell their weapons to*. So kinda scratching my head at trying to figure out why they suddenly grew a very selective  conscience here. Though I can only claim a highly superfical knowledge of the asian region's geopolitics.

Meanwhile Duterte is still providing his seemingly uninhibited streams of conciousness.

*Unfortunatly also an issue with Sweden after our prime minister's recent visit to Saudi Arabia is anything to go by. So much for his so-called feministic foreign policy. :(

Pope Francis recently visited Sweden and went about as expected. With a later interview where the head dickhead is still holding to the dickhead club's policies by not allowing cunts.

Serious news: US intel catching chatter by remnant Al Qaeda forces of a possibly imminent attack.

It could be real or it could just be the grumblings of a group that realizes no one is really afraid of them anymore.

Either way, safety is everyone's job and responsibility. If you see something, say something. Keep an eye out for suspicious packages in public places or people walking as if they have a weapon hidden in their jacket.

Be aware of your surroundings and the laws governing the carrying of concealed weapons (firearms) or those allowing open carry in your state.  The best way to handle your suspicions is to locate a police office and communicate your concerns.

Okay, so I haven't been following the news in these last few days, but I keep hearing that Trump is regaining his support?

yes but he still has it tough as he doesn't have the electoral votes needed while at the current polling she has. Remember in the US you can win the majority vote and still lose the election. He still needs to win several states that he will struggle to win, it is still possible yes but the odds are still in hillary's favour. But lets hope he doesn't win.

by 'regaining his support' you mean 'his margin of defeat is shrinking'. Outside of places like Breitbart, he's not actually polling at a national majority.

Meanwhile, while the whole world is watching Orange hitler fighting and losing to a woman on the brink of death, the other land of the free, our allies in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, having recently been appointed to the U.N. human rights council, have chosen to show their love of human rights by arresting a prominent human rights activist for daring to question the blatantly sexist and oppresive male guardianship.

The NYT did a useful rundown of the polls for individual states and the electoral maths for the election, expecially the swing states. The table a bit down on this page gives a good idea - and it's being updated day by day. Trump would have to win almost every single state that's in the "uncertainty band" to get to the White House. Clinton can afford to lose in states like Maine, even Ohio which is always a key battleground - Trump can afford almost no failings in contested states, and he has a much thinner organization and less of high-profile stand-ins and allies to do a rally for him.

Maybe Putin can do a few speeches on his behalf ;)

Seriously though, I agree, but on the other hand, Clinton is still a fair bit away from 270 electoral votes.
