Powers:  Can transform body into organic steel. When transformed, Colossus possesses superhuman strength, stamina and durability. He is capable of lifting 100 tons, surviving without food, water or air, and is highly resistant to extremes of heat and cold.
Skills: Skilled hand to hand fighter, talented artist (drawing and painting). In his normal form he is strong and fit, but not superhumanly so.
Bio: Piotr Rasputin, a descendant of the famous Mad Monk, was born a poor Russian peasant. He did not ask for his great power, but once his mutant heritage came to light he has dutifully accepted the burden of using his great strength to protect and defend mankind -- even those who despise mutants. At heart he is a gentle soul but when provoked he can become a nearly unstoppable force of destruction. In battle and in life he tends to be a follower more than a leader.
In the past Piotr had an intense relationship with the X-Man Kitty Pryde, but today they remain only good friends.

GM Prompt: It is not widely known yet, but at the time Professor Xavier disappeared, Cerebro was badly damaged. Investigation by (Beast or others) seems to reveal that it was hacked, then damaged to cover up the attempt. It is not known what information was taken.

The Communal Canon: Colossus led a training mission of several X-Men students into the sewers beneath New York, expecting little opposition. They battled a pair of supercharged Morlocks who seemed to possess some strange dark energy. The fight ended in stalemate, both Morlocks escaping.

Also, if accepted please add Colossus into Communal Canon #4, the rescue of Lady Luck from the Kingpin.

Powers:  Rhedyn possess a distinct connection to the earth that confers several abilities on her.  The first is knowledge of the ground around her such as its composition, unique features and the stress placed on the ground.  Rhedyn has also been developing a sense of the plant life around her as she has done her studies in horticulture.  The poisons and defenses of plants also have little to no effect on her.  This protection does not extend to animals, but her body readily heals itself if she sleeps with her body connected to the earth in some way.  Typically the more of her body exposed to the ground the faster and more potent the healing.  A strange allure also follows Rhedyn that seems linked to the pleasing odors and pollens of plants.  Most people describe this allure not as a sexual attraction, but rather one of simple calm.  Her most dynamic and awe striking manifestation has been the ability to “pull” the earth across her body, coating her flesh in stone and dirt.  This gives her far superior strength and durability to a human.
Skills:
Survival training – Rhedyn has survived in the extremes of the Appalachian Mountains and the jungles of South America with the assistance of her powers.

Horticultural Specialist – She has received near one-on-one training from a PhD professor in the field of horticulture for the past five years and is nearly ready to pursue her Masters.

Language – Rhedyn currently speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese and various dialects belonging to the natives of the South American region.

Bio: Rhedyn Blackthorn does not remember much of her childhood.  She remembers her sister as the bundle of blankets handed to her by a smiling face.  The images of mother and father tossed together into a blurring image of family until finally the cold of the mountains.  Rhedyn remembers well the descent into the mountains from their plane and the panicked expression of father and mother as they wrapped their children in blankets.  The plane struck the mountain side and Rhedyn was alone once more with her sister, bundled in blankets and sleeping.  Only eight, Rhedyn did everything she could to give Devyn some sort of chance for life.  Already the powers of the child manifested as she was placed under great stress to survive.  A cave was found for a home and plants gave over their sustenance for her in this harsh climate.  Rhedyn did her best to teach Devyn to read and write, but they were skills even she barely understood and were soon forgotten in favor of survival.

Discovery was a blessing and curse for Rhedyn.  The pair of sisters had carved out a comfortable life together and at twelve the world was too big for them both to understand.  There was much pain to be had as the girls were reintroduced.  The couple that took them in were nice enough, but Rhedyn was already gone into her own world.  As other girls of twelve were learning to find comfort in themselves and see others, Rhedyn only knew a place for her sister.  Still she tried and at twenty-one had learned enough that their new parents though her ready to attend a local college.  Such dreams were not to be realized when another group came for them.  Dragged from their beds, Rhedyn woke to find herself beneath the ground.  Their kidnappers had not understood enough to know how far one sister would go for the other. 

Rhedyn knew her sister would escape.  Devyn was too feral not to find her way free if given the chance.  So digging her hands into the walls she drew on the stone around the facility, drew the stone toward her to cover her flesh and protect her body.  Walls collapsed and alarms sounded.  The telepath that had struck them unconscious sought to do so again but the mind of stone is not so easily dissuaded.  Rhedyn brought the cavern down on top of herself and those that had taken her.  The display of power drained her to an extent that she had never known possible and only sleep beneath the ground could replenish her reserves.  So long after Devyn had left the rubble did she emerge.  There was no going after her sister as together the pair seemed to attract trouble, attract too much attention.  A pamphlet from the local college had described the lush lands of South America and so Rhedyn made her way there.

South America proved a haven for the young mutant.  At twenty-one the world was open for her and in South America a person could become lost.  She quickly became the intern of a local research group dedicated to understanding the plants and landscape of the Amazon, to discovering a cure for modern illness.  The professor enrolled this strange girl that had such intimate understanding of plants into the university.  Rhedyn did not truly understand but enjoyed the learning.  Only later would she know that she was a student at the a university in New York.  Years passed under the tutelage of the professor, yet she could not progress in this life without more work back in the United States.  For that the girl now known as Druid would have to resume the life of Rhedyn Blackthorn.

That's a great suggestion, Ebb!  A character map detailing faculty and students will be on the main page of whatever I called the character sheet section of the game.  :)

Since this game is based off of our own canon, are you saying that our dimension's Nightcrawler died?
