The Wizard's Apprentice (Dom Wizard seeking Apprentice)

The Wizards of End's World were becoming few and far between. More and more chose isolation and hid themselves away from the world without taking on an Apprentice. Nearly all of them were very elderly and frail and were more than two hundred years old.

Gone were the days where each Noble household had a Wizard of Magic User as an adviser and nowadays it was rare for any to live in the big cities.

It stunned everyone in the city of Alders when the notices began to appear. The Wizard Magnus was asking for an Apprentice. He had not been seen for decades and his tower in the centre of the city had been thought to be empty by the city folk but recently the windows at the top of the tower had begun to glow with candle and firelight. The Grand Master was home.

Young men and women approached his tower and all tried to gain entrance but none succeeded. Over time the hopeful apprentices began to grow bored and slowly departed until one day. For one particular young lady the door to the tower opened and a bony hand emerged from the shadows and beckoned her in.

By now the city was full of rumours. It could not possibly be the Grand Master Magnus. Maybe it was a demon or worse? Would the young Apprentice dare enter? With your  friends and family watching you slowly approach....
