Dark Embrace – A Collaboration Between Terri and Instinct

   During the early Middle Ages, in the now-forgotten kingdom of Eldon, a new force was born. This “magic,” as it was called by its practitioners, quickly spread from its origin – the sorceress-queen Marlinda - to the outlying countryside, and from there to the rest of the kingdom, as nobles near and far alike took up the study of this science, with the intent of using it to their own ends.
   There was one problem, however. Upon first demonstrating to a court of local aristocracy the power of magic, Marlinda forbade it to be taught to men. As a result, only women were able to learn of it, and the men of the kingdom – those who had been traditionally in power – quickly found their grip on their local territories circumvented by their wives, their lovers, and their daughters and other assorted relatives. Soon, the patriarchy turned to a matriarchy, as barons were replaced by baronesses, counts by countesses, and so on.
   But the women of Eldon did not stop there, for it was not enough to take power for themselves; the men also had to be shown their rightful place. Under the direction of Marlinda and her cadre of sorceresses, the female nobility of the kingdom began to bend the forces of magic in order to make men into pleasure slaves, entertainment, concubines, and even worse. Many of the women have even taken to dabbling among the peasantry, creating entire harems of men (and perhaps even peasant women, though these are much fewer) drawn from all walks of life. It is with this authority that Marlinda’s husband, Richard, the former king, has become a puppet, a slave to her will, and a tool through which to act out her (often twisted) fantasies.
   As a servant, you will need to cope with your Mistress’ will and obey her every wish… or else. As a female aristocrat, you will need to keep your men in line and see that they make for adequate “entertainment,” whatever that may mean to you.

(Additional notes: Most of this game will take place at the castle of the king, where the nobility has been gathered. Women, be sure you bring your slaves. *grin*
