[based off TV] The X-effect (M looking for F, two characters each)

A while ago there was this show on TV called the X-effect. I was thining of starting a play about it.
It is primarily a "two characters per person"-scene, but I guess it could be four people playing it too, if there is interest.

The premise of the show (and thus the scene) is the following (all names are placeholders).
Brad And Angie used to be a couple. A very hot couple. They dated for a while, and then broke up, but they have stayed in touch, and there is still some chemistry between them. There is no closure there yet.


Now, a few months after the breakup, they are each with new partners, but there is still this lingering thought of "what if" in regards to their former love.


Brad is now with Josie and Angie is with Michael, and they are, all of them, invited to Bueno Vista Resort and Spa for a sort of "couples' couceling" for a TV-show, cameras and all.
What they don't know is that once they arrive the Xes (Brand and Angie) will be separated from the Os (Josie and Michael) and while the Xes get to stay in a luxurious suite to "work out their closure" the Os are sent hom.

Or so they are lead to believe.

The Os return to the resort and are put up in abungalow at hte bakc, unable to contact the Xes, but able to monitor them in various ways (there is a light that shines red whenever they touch, a counter for how many timethey speak the names of the Os, things like that).
Over the weekend the Xes are put hrough some situations to see how they want to close their relationship (if they indeed to) and at the close they get to pick if they want to go back with their X or their O.


The outline looks something like this...

* The two couples arrive, but at the gate they are greeted by the hostesses, and the Os are sent away, only Xs admitted.
    * The Xs are shown their room
    * The Os return to the spy bungalow, told about how they can from here spy on their partners through various means
    * The Xs go to dinner on the patio, and the Os can only watch
    * Nighttime – all sorts of things can happen

    * The next morning the Os are given a choice of daytime activities. One is obviously sexual in nature (tantric workshop, massage treatment, yachtcruise, so on)

and the other is not (basketball, tennis, croquet). However, if the Os chose the sexual activity they get to spy, and the other they see nothing. Of course, the “mundane” activity can be just as hot, (turning a game of Horse at the hoop into dares for each lost shot, stripping and fucking, and so on)

    * When they get back they have been upgraded to an even more lucurious suite (with only one bed). New ways to monitor the Xs are made available to the Os.

    * The Xs can slip into the jacuzzi (this triggers the jacuzzi-cams, including the underwater ones)
    * The Xs go to dinner
    * Nighttime

    * The Xs both get a note saying “follow this map and see where it leads you”. They both encounter the other person's O, and get told they have been watched, and that they have to choose between their current partner of their X.
    * The couples reveal their choices to their Os, separately
    * The Xs meet to reveal their choices to one another

    * End.
