The Dark Scribes Diablerie

A little about me:

I’m and older writer with a long history of writing. I’ve been writing since I was a teenager and that’s a long time ago, so I’ve been around the block.  I’m a gamer and have a lot of things in the gaming community that take up my time apart from working full time.

Storywise, I write traditional third person fiction and can get fairly lengthy in my post depending on the scene and what I might be working with from my partner.  I can get pretty long in the words for my opening post, so be warned, I know some don’t like that much. I also understand this is my prerogative, I don’t expect as much length from my partner.  I do expect to average at least two to three paragraphs though if you look in my history I can often get much more depending on my partner.

Now, down to the brass tacks, what am I looking for.  I’m looking to tell a great story with my partner.  To me story is the forefront of why I write and the only thing I’m looking to get out of writing.  Now, obviously, being on Eliquy, I eventually expect that the two characters will get down to adult situations, the sexy parts, but I don’t force it and I don’t expect it to come in the first three posts.  The story will dictate when things happen.

Now, I have some fairly fleshed out ideas but I love to collaborate with my writing partner, that’s one of the best parts of writing with someone else.  I’m not silly enough to think my ideas are the best, some of the best story turns have come out of collaboration for me.  So, feel free to come with your own ideas and questions, I’m open to discussion.

Availability: Limited

I have a lot on my plate as I expect most adults do, and I’ve overextended myself in the past which is something I’m trying not to do this time.  I’m limiting myself to one or two stories right now.  I’m active in the gaming community, modding on Twitch and playing and doing my own broadcasts along with leading a clan, so my time is limited.  I am looking to get posts out, and receive them, like once or twice a week, though obviously, some post might come quicker or slower depending on both partner’s lives.

Story Ideas

Villain Inc.

Who says heros are out to protect all and keep them well, media and PR firms. So the hero saves the woman he loves or his estranged sibling, but how many are hurt or killed in their battles to save those few people. This story idea explores the strange perspective of villains whos loved ones have been killed in heros battles, heros who have gotten too full of themselves.

Your character would be a person of exceptional physical abilities, the exact nature is up to my partner. My character would be a man of beginning mental mastery. Perhaps they just collide in their path of revenge or perhaps my character gets yours out of jail to help him. Once together they both see the need to work together to bring the heros who've hurt them and others down.

Hardboiled (A noir fantasy idea)

The Setting: A 1950’s American recovering from the Second World War. The world is not the one we know, elves and trolls and all other kinds of fantasy creatures exist. Magic flows through the world but deep underneath, hard to manipulate.

Jake is not a nice man.  He thinks he was a good man at one time but that was long ago, before the war and everything it did to him.  A army grunt in the thick of the fight, he learned to do what it took to survive and win, letting go of parts of what he felt made him good.  When he came home from the war, he tried to find a job and move back into normal society but it never fit.  Eventually, he just couldn’t make the ‘normal’ life work.

Out of a job, he found himself working for the Crimelli crime family in Philly as an enforcer.  He found he was good at his job and his employers recognized his skill at intimidation and causing others pain.  He might have had a long career until the police got him or one of his family members stabbed him in the back, but then came that day his whole world changed. He went down to his VA doctor and they told him the news, he was dying and there was nothing they could do for him.

Packing his things, he cut ties with the family amicably and headed back home to Chicago to spend his last days. He didn’t have any family he cared to deal with anymore but at least it was familiar and that was something at the end.  Taking up in a hotel on the outskirts, Jake took too spending too many days in the bar, drinking on whiskey or bourbon and smoking his cigar. 

Then, one day he crossed paths with her and his life changed.  She asked for help and the guys after her didn’t look friendly.  The old Jake would have decided it was none of his business and left.  But he’d found something in accepting his death, a power and a courage.  He waaway warrior in a society that didn’t want a fighter.  So, instead of walking way, he took up the womans pleas and helped her.

Thoughts:  There are a few possibilities on the arc of this story.  The woman could be running from a crime family having crossed them in some way.  Or maybe she’s an elf running from her people, breaking some kind of oath or arraignment wanting what the freedom humans have.  There are a lot of possibilities and it’s something to discuss.

Jake is not the most pleasant of characters and a know this can be something other’s find distasteful.  He drinks too much and smokes cigars and can be less than courteous. But he is a warrior and a protector.  Any romantic entanglements could go a few ways. It could be a straight romance or it can have some D/s aspects, it’s open to a few approaches depending on how their relationship develops.

The Last War

Even before June 1944, things had not been going well for the German’s war efforts and many worried what was next.  In the high command, gears began to move among a select few as Himmler began send his men out like tentacles though the land looking for something.  The Allied command was worried what this meant for the invasion already in planning, they had little resource they could spare to investigate the strange occult rumors coming out of Germany.

It fell to the OSS to drop in a lone agent to meet up with resistance to find out what was going on in Germany and how it might affect the war effort. 

This is a bare bones idea so there would be a lot to work out with a partner exactly where the story is going.  I see it as having an occult leaning but I’m open to discussion.  I have a few ideas where the story would be going but I imagine the story will start with the two meeting, the man from the OSS and the female resistance contact. 

The Last of Us (post apocalyptic incest story)

On February 23rd/24th, an unknown organization delivered the largest terrorist attack on the United States when a shipment of fresh bills from the Federal Reserve was released into circulation with a virus coating each one of them.  Released during the biggest shopping season of the year all across the east coast, the biological attack killed hundreds of thousands of people in the first hours with more surcuming as the contagion passed though the population.  The world was left in chaos as major cities were quarantined, New York, Boston and Philly, but it was unable to stop the spread.  Many who survived saw the anarchy left in the wake of the attack as a perfect opportunity to exercise their base selves.


When the world went shit, Gage had only one thought in his mind, to get to his daughter and keep her safe. Fighting though the chaos of the city, he finds her already under siege by looters, saving her.  He tries to escort her out of the city but that’s not as simple with everything shut down and the crazy masses on the street. Scratching their way out of the city, they head off towards Cleveland which they’ve heard has been set up as a safe zone.  They get there through some trials and tribulations but the place is abandoned and the virus is present in the area.  They hear that Wisconsin is free and clear so they start that way.

Story thoughts:  Gage is a Marine veteran so the father and daughter may be estranged due to his service and subsequent work in private security. Or perhaps his wife was fed up with it and divorced him taking his daughter away. So there may be some issues between them but they are all the other has now. They have to rely on each other and keep each other well, cheer each other up and motivate them, and things begin to develop that both maybe find hard to reconcile at first.  Eventually, though, perhaps they accept that the world has changed and find some solace in each other.

I’d also be ok if it’s a step daughter relationship but it would have to have been early on that they developed a daddy/daughter bond when she was young.  The relationship has some flexibility so it could be a straight romance that develops and stays there or it could wander into some D/s areas. These are all things that can be discussed with interested writers.
