The Great Triangle

Nathaniel huddled close to the window, casting his eyes about the small humble cabin.  The main living area was a small chamber with a rug and a couch in it, several bookshelves worth of knick knacks lining the walls across from the fireplace.  Outside the window, snow whirled through the air in the night, and Vlad began to truly realize that he was trapped here for at least a day and two nights.

On the couch sat her, the girl who had been following him, who he saw tampering with his car before he started driving for the night, the woman who kept showing up across crowded dance floors at a distance.  They had recognized one another for what they were long ago, but refused to really face why they kept meeting each other.

The owner of the Cabin struggled on his bed, moaning against the duct tape over his mouth as he strained against the hogtie the two had put him in.  It was a bad situation, two vampires, the middle of winter, and but one vessel to split between them for an indefinite period of time.   Nathaniel closed his fist, running his tongue along his fangs as he considered his next move...

Alyssa was sitting on the sofa, in the barest sense of the word. Reclined back and leg up on the empty cushions, she looked between the captive and Nathaniel.  She drew back her lips in a mock-snarl and stood to her feet.

She began pacing on the opposite side of the cabin, careful enough to keep a close distance between her and dinner. Well closer than Nathaniel was, anyway.

The girl stopped moving turning her face to look at Nathaniel, her body still facing towards the prey. Her voice was low and had the gravel of impatience and too much smoking.

"So is this going to be nice, or is it going to be nasty?"

The Great Triangle

Nathaniel stalked closer to Alyssa, staring her down as she drew up across from her, a snarl of his own meeting her stance.  "He'll feed the two of us for the night if we just work together, sit back down and we'll figure out how to be nice."  He hissed at her, his black cape swirling around his tall body as he spoke.  He too had gone too many nights without a drink of blood, but he refused to show it, knowing that if he got her more desperate, he would have a better chance.

He moved in front of the bedroom, a sideways glance briefly encountering the pleading eyes of their victim.  If Alyssa wanted to get inside, she'd have to go through him.

"And what about after one night?" Alyssa growled.

Frowning deeply at him she began twisting one of her rings around her finger. She felt the hunger rippling under her skin and she knew she had to calm down soon.  Pacing again she murmured something to herself under her breath and gave him another sharp glare.

Doing her best to look past Nathaniel's form, she grunted in annoyance.

"You know, you should be thanking me."  She moved closer to her elder wearily eying his movements.

"If I hadn't gotten him to open the door, you'd still be wandering around in the snow"
