Ok, I guess I'll throw my line out there and see who bites:

In any of the pairings I'd love to play the more submissive partner, but it's not a deal breaker for me.

Ideas:

A human finds an injured fairy in the woods and brings it back to their house to take mend it's wounds.

A powerful wizard has been hard at work on a new, extremely powerful spell, and it's up to their loyal familiar (magical humanoid of sorts) to take care of the wizard and points of normal business while it's master is occupied.
