Topic: Elliquiy will be getting a new server Saturday the 13th

As members who also are on Blue Moon are aware, our new master server is live and already hosting our sister site.

For those curious about the specs:

In addition to being significantly more powerful, it is also running a more modern software stack, incorporating a lot of stuff I learned over the past several years but for various reasons couldn't apply here due to the immense disruption it would require.

As with Blue Moon, this new update requires a clean database import. This will require some extended downtime (several hours) as I will need to prepare the database for moving, then run the import normally. As Elliquiy is a fairly colossal forum, this will take awhile.
