The premise is simple.  You'll each be working together to further the goals of Evil Industries in order to subjugate the world.  You'll be working from the Island of Indeterminate Location, using it as a base of operations to plan and prepare for your missions.  If you're successful, you'll get more money added to your special vault, which you can use to buy new gear (which means update your character's stuff).  At the main thread, you'll spot a map that will show, in red, areas of the world crumbling to chaos and destruction.  Some missions will have little effect, others will have a massive effect.  It all depends on how you do.

Also this story will be interacting with another storyline, my Beyond Mankind thread ^^ so if you're interested to know just how messed up this thread will end up... mwahahahahahahaahaha *gasp for air*

Everyone will start off pretty low on powers, mostly focusing on certain skills like technical skills or military or social skills.  Later on, I'll let you introduce certain powers, such as maybe a voodoo priest having voodoo dolls, or maybe a lawyer who throws pens like throwing stars.  Basically, you start off the same, but you get more and more advanced as you move along.

Welcome to our Secret Island of Indeterminate Location.  Here, you'll find everything you need for your downtime between missions.  We have medical facilities that are staffed by doctors from the best third world countries, cuisine that's guaranteed to stay down half the time, and recreational facilities boasting three whole ping pong tables that don't wobble!

Of course, most of your time won't be spent on our lovely island of doom.  Rather, you'll spend it travelling to the remote corners of the world to carry out our bidding.  Should you survive, you'll be promptly rewarded for your trouble.  If you're still interested in the job, just respond to our little inquiry and we'll begin getting you ready to serve your new corporate masters.

Basically you'll all start as one of three types of character: Social, Technical, Military.  Social characters will use their charm and wit to outfox people and help throw them off their guard.  Imagine James Bond seducing people left and right to get into the secret compound.  Technical characters will use technology to get in, such as Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell, using his tech to sneak around unnoticed.  Military characters will basically want to go in and shoot everyone, though that doesn't limit them from things like silenced weapons and long-range guns.  Each type has a strength and weakness, so I'll lay out the types you can pick from below.

Social
Diplomat Arrayed with your vast knowledge of customs and languages, you can sooth almost any hurt feelings and get people to calm down when situations get hot.
Spin Doctor The art of spin is your game.  You can take any fact and twist the information around your little finger to make a negative seem positive, and vice verse.
Playboy Charming and sophisticated, your game is to seduce man and woman alike into lowering their guard to tell you what you want or get them into a vulnerable position.

Technical
Bio-technician Having studied everything about biology, you know the ins and outs of the human body so well, you use innocent chemical concoctions to put down herds of elephants.
Scientist With a keen technical mind, you can study almost anything electronic and figure out how it works in little to no time.  This makes it handy for using an enemy's own weapons against them.
Quantum Physicist Having studied the tiniest particles in the universe, you can use that knowledge to control the very elements of nature herself.

Military
Martial Artist Years of study aboard in China and Japan have left you able to walk confident that in hand to hand combat, no one is your rival.
Mercenary Heavy machine guns and iron muscles leave little doubt that when it comes time to lay down some firepower, you'll be there in the thick of it.
Sniper Range is your friend.  While the others get up close and personal, you're in the back, taking out the worst of the bad guys before they even realize they're dead.

Blonde hair to below her shoulders.  A green and red snake tattoo around her right ankle. Has been a nurse for three years before being recruited. Now finds herself on the isle, wondering what she got herself into but she was the one who had written to the company, looking for new experiences.

For two she worked as a nurse while working on getting her degree in being a doctor. Once she had her degree, she become annoyed with how medical practices are run. Seeing a advertisement about the corporation and the mailing address, she wrote to them, seeing if there was a place for her. She sought a place that offered research more then taking care of people or healing them. Now, she could experiment with different things, seeing what she could create, plus working for them helped relieve some of the rages that came upon her without warning. No one, not even herself, could figure out why she sometimes felt an overwhelming desire to infect people and cause them harm.

So what exactly falls under Scientist and what is Quantum Physics? Quantum more obviously has stuff like teleporting and disintegration (anti-gravity and force fields also seem to fit), and Scientist has robots and conventional weaponry, but what about plasma?

I'd be willing to surrender robots to the Scientist archetype - so yeah, Quantum Physicist should cover the zanier stuff. You do Science, I do SCIENCE!!! I do comic-book science, you get stuff more grounded in reality...I might build a plasma cannon, while you design a railgun.

Pretty much everyone has a tiny bit of overlap, but mostly you pick your archetype now, and get bonuses later.  Quantum will get stuff like teleporters, while scientists get robots, and biotechs get all sorts of nasty plagues.  Playboys get the charm, Spindoctors get to twist the words, and the diplomats get to calm everyone down.  The martial artist gets the up close kills, the merc gets medium range, and the sniper gets long range.  Obviously the Merc would need to know some martial skills, but not as much as the martial artist.

Bio: Alicia likes to kill things. As a kid, she stepped on insects and hurt her little brother purposely, then denied it of course. At 16 she was involved in a knife fight and it didn't turn out great. The other managed to flee, and she got arrested for it, spending 6 months in juvy. But then at 18 she discovered the army. There, she had the opportunity to develop her skills and hurt people for real. She became physically strong, training constantly, and discovered that she was quite good at sniping, plus it had the advantage that she could savor every kill, watching her prey and then decide the exact moment to end their lives, and she quickly found out that she loved that, it physically turned her on. But the army could only provide so much killing, so when she heard about Evil Corp, she decided to join up.

Personality: Alicia is an impressive girl, strong and usually wearing 'tom-boy' clothes. Especially when she carries her rifle on her back, few would dare talk to her. However, those that did would find a very nice girl. She's friendly and loves to chat and make new friends. It's not quite 2 split personalities, but close. When she's in killing mode, she's as ruthless as possible. But most of the time she's just a normal girl, that loves to talk about guns, killing, and some more killing.

Background: Two things marked Seth as different from his peers; he always liked building things (and was very good at it), and he looked at the world in a remarkably different way. As a child he never understood many of the lessons that were being taught, though he quickly learned to pretend otherwise. If he could take and hold something he wanted from others, why was that wrong? He earned it, by right of being able to take it in the first place. As he grew he never changed his philosophies but grew skilled in presenting himself in a 'normal' manner. He made and sold toys and tools to raise money which he then used to fund his ever growing interest in robotics.

Bio:
     Born to a Texan over-the-border kingpin in New Mexico, Charles was the pride and joy of the family. Intelligent, with a fine eye for maneuvers, chess, fencing- and a strong athlete streak. Despite the four year gap of tutelage due to having auditioned and been accepted in the U.S. Olympic Swimming team, where he won silver, he never seemed to stop absorbing information- he had, during his formative years, even earned the nickname "Sponge." He did not realize as he rode the paychecks that came in from sponsors and academia, his father was quietly funneling his money into is own "investments-" investments that would take years to pay off.Charles is not stupid, however. It's not long before he realizes there's more crap in the diaper than there's milk in the tit, and all fingers lead back to his dear old pa. So, after some very heated words (and a knife-wound to the jaw) Charles brought his father in, unaware exactly of where the money went- and now without a dime to his name. It had been too late; Jones Senior invested everything. There was nothing left for Charles left to do but turn to the one place he knew could protect him from his father; the government.

     He trained as an infantryman, becoming a fine soldier in his own rights- and eventually served three terms in the latest "war for resources," coming for the first time with the Industry in his first- and his mind snapping like a twig in the last. Reports are still foggy, but Evil Industries continue to deny claims that Master Sergeant Jones, honorably discharged for illness, killed the entire outpost from the inside out... And then proceeded to viciously murder an entire village- including several insurgents.
     It is unclear whether Jones had been altered to his currently parahuman condition by the scientists at Evil Industries, but evidence suggests that they may have only expounded on genetic traits already existing in Jones. He has been dubbed "Lucifer"- leader designation for "Archangel" program.

Personality:
     A roiling mass of rage, hatred- aimed at himself, the government, and the world- comprises of much of what Jones is today. His cynicism is endless; his distaste for the wasted form of man deep. He admits openly that he had murdered many undeserving people, and that he will continue to do so until he was good and in the ground- at 7', he makes this a very convincing argument. He is not without some introspective side; his endless research has recently turned to philosophy (albeit, Machiavellian in nature.) His fun-side is reserved for murder and lechery- occasionally both in some succession, though never both the same target.

Equipment:
     Combat fatigues, black shirts and leather bike jackets comprises the bulk of his wardrobe, as well as a couple wifebeaters and tacky hawaiian shirts. Oh, and Ablative Ceramic Armor. His armory consists of a mix of shotguns, grenade launchers, and machine guns designed for cutting forests in half.

Type: Technical - Quantum Physicist

Bio: Marcus was born in Germany, the child of a pair of absentee aristocrats who spent years abroad travelling and vacationing without so much as a thought for their son. He was raised by servants, nurses, and tutors, to the point where he could barely recognize his blood parents in photographs. A genius of unparallelled caliber, he was speaking complete sentences before he could walk, and was obtaining college-level degrees before he began puberty. This meteoric self-education, combined with the natural subservience of every human being he grew up around, did little to curb his attitude or instil even the slightest measure of humility in him - when his parents finally died in a freak hurricane-hang-gliding accident and left him the heir to their fortune, the only change was that he now had the riches to pursue all of his arcane interests. Vast sums went into cutting-edge equipment and expensive materials, as Marcus plumbed the depths of knowledge beyond anything Man dared to explore. Theories long-discarded by 'legitimate' science or not even dreamed of were his fodder, from teleportation to molecular conversion.

When he was 23, he built what he intended to be a time machine, simply for the novelty of it, and based on principles he had discovered and greedily kept to himself. On paper, it functioned perfectly. When fired, he found he had 'time travelled' only in the sense of vanishing from reality for a full year while experiencing only a blink and reappearing in the same spot. More notably, though he did not discover this for a time, some side effect of the trip had rendered him partially outside time - he now aged physically at a quarter of the rate normal humans did. Sadly, this was the last straw to crack his sanity and instil his belief in having become an Ubermensch. His experiments continued for years, steadily draining his resources while drifting further and further away from anything human science considered possible. Eventually he ran out of money entirely, but rather than give up his work, began selling his inventions to anyone who would buy them - usually criminals and despots who only cared for the horrors they could do, rather than the principles they ran on. Even his failures made for good money to the scum of the earth, and with time, he eventually found himself in a lab complex of Evil Industries with an unlimited line of credit and free reign to build anything he could dream of.

Personality: Loony. Wacky. Several knives short of a silverware drawer. Unhinged. Nuts. Off the deep end. If it's a synonym for 'insane' and you can name it, it applies to Dr. Vanderburg. It's debatable whether he even recognizes other people as fellow human beings, with his inconsistent and unpredictable modes of address. Most of his time is spent in his laboratories designing, building, and testing his latest impossible invention, and whenever he finds one stable enough to be distributed for 'clinical trials', as he calls them, his manner is exhuberant to the point of childlike glee. He always insists on minutely detailed reports of their effects and side effects, no matter how successful or graphically and gorily disastrous, and remains unmoved by any sort of humanitarian concerns.

Pilfering Panda
The Panda is one of the most recognizable symbols of China and also one of the most fragile.  Currently, there are only about 2000 of these creatures left, with almost 200 in China's zoos alone.  Unlike most pandas though, LingLing is one of the few males who is actively attempting to breed.  He is under heavy security to ensure he can't be killed by accident.  Fortunately, our plans don't involve killing him.  Take the will and desire out of the Chinese people by castrating LingLing.

Samurai Sword Swindle
In Japan, the Samurai were revered warriors who lived and died by a strict code of honor.  Recently recovered is the legendary sword of Japan's third shogunate, and has been placed on display in a major Tokyo museum.  Because even the Yakuza revere the sword, and wouldn't dream of desecrating the sword, enabling security to be lighter than usual.  Sneak in and pour acid on the sword to corrode the sword in minutes.  Tokyo police will be embarrised to explain their failure.

Caller Conundrum
Pastor Christopher Loyde is a televangelist in Los Angeles, selling tickets to heaven one caller at a time.  He's apparently so successful that some of this viewers are reduced to eating dog food just to send more money to him.  Taking over the world will take quite a bit of money, so travel to Los Angeles and 'convince' him to hand over his show to us.  Once we have his show, the money should pour in once we show the world a glimpse of heaven.
