I was thinking of tossing a character into the hat, but I had in mind to play an Ultimate. I know wander's character dislikes the Ultimates, so I was wondering if I tried for an Ultimate was more into the "be the best transhuman I can be" end of things than "remove genetrash from premises" would work out. I wouldn't imagine the character being actively antagonistic to others, but sometimes these kinds of things would force compromises that don't make sense. Any thoughts?

It is in fact a male model named Sasha something. Sasha Knezevic, I think.

Sasha Gacsal was what a reverse image search turned up for me. Sasha Knezevic did turn up images too, but the fellow looked very different.
Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

Could you perhaps link those images? For Science?

Anyway, I'm debating between these two images:

Thoughts?

@ Cold Heritage; When I placed them in my character dislikes, I didn't think it was to stop people playing them, rather it would show what Fox thinks of them as a whole (individuals are always different from a group after all) and it would make interesting posts between the two characters, so if you want to be an Ultimate, go ahead!

@ Angie; I recommend getting a synthetic mask for your Synth Morph to avoid their usual mass-produced look if you haven't got it yet. ^^

Non- synthetic masked Synth pic:

Btw, I'm seconding Pic #1! They look amazingly wonderful! ^^

Angie

Hmm, the Synthetic Mask is nice, but I don't think Lyscaris would actually want to pass as a biomorph. She might just prefer looking synthetic instead of looking biological-blame it on the Real World Naivete, which in itself can be blamed on the robot porn.

Although reading through the weapons section of the gear, it fills my heart with joy to see the Monofilament Sword make a triumphant return!

Yup, there sure is some awesome stuff. However it tricks you into wanting to really buy all awesome stuff for your character with your starting CP, rather than boost skills and traits etc.

Fox starts vanilla with little bits of gear here and there (the essentials basically), though with Networking with autonomist factions you can get a hold of anything in the game for a favoured owed, not a cred spent. The only issue with networking is the respawn factor in using it and time taken out to find someone that'll deal with you for the item wanted, so it's not 'get everything for free' but the game certainly rewards you for thinking more on your ego than the physical stuff you own. :)

Props go to the Plasma Sword, which is essentially a light saber and also the Beam Weapons, most of which function like the X-gun fro Gantz rather than a traditional pew-pew laser gun. :)

Angie

Ironically I've already bought everything I've wanted using the average prices for things on a little less then 3k creds. Granted this won't have any bearing on this game since we aren't actually using the system, but she has a laser gun, a sword, combat armor, and even wings. I love this game!

Hullo! Just stopping in to say I'll have some more information ready soon, but I'm shaking off a bug right now. Once I feel present enough to write properly, I'll be getting things up! Meanwhile, Angiejuusan and  KaylaM, you're both accepted, I've got no issues with those characters.

(though I will playfully tease that KaylaM and I have remarkably similar characters- reinstated extropians who have spent a lot of time in Furies. :) at least that mean's we're likely to get along.)

Cold Heritage

Do you think you might have room for me, vanTheMad? Or do you have as many players as you are comfortable having?
Thank you, fellow Elliquiyan, and have a wonderful day.

Honestly, I'm not sure what normal "manageable" numbers for a group game like this actually are, but since it's been quite some time (and based on current gender numbers), I'll play the fool and say that one more character might not hurt. Toss up a character, I'll have an OOC/IC thread up and ready by tomorrow evening, too, so keep posted.

Quick question though; which setting sounds most interesting to you- the Profunda colony (major circumsaturnine colony on the moon Enceladus, home to many of transhumanity's best known morph designers), Aphrodite Prime (a Venusian aerostat famous as a tourist locale), or Ashoka (a Martian "spiritual retreat" where settled Martian and Barsoomian cultures can mingle, and also the site of a museum housing many artifacts pertaining to the early days of human space exploration)?

Angie

Profunda sounds fun-also, van, I need to send you a thing.

First choice: Aphrodite Prime. Second: Profunda. Distant third: Ashoka.

vanTheMad

Additionally, because I forgot- my character works best as a Muse riding around in another character. Would anyone be particularly interested in obtaining an ego to be their Muse?

Rook Seidhr

I kinda designed Cielo that way, when we were considering doing this as a 1x1.

Bleh <.< brain is at work again, got another character almost done
I have taken the Oath of the Drake
"--But every sin...is punished, but punished by death, no matter the crime. No matter the scale of the sin. The people of the city live in silence, lest a single word earn them death for speaking out against you."

"Yes. Listen. Listen to the sound of raw silence. Is it not serene?"

wander

Profunda is a good 'un because I want one of those flying cats they design there and it'd be awesome to see some custom Morphs... Ashoka is cool because it's down on Mars, Fox's current home planet and they're down with the Barsoomians too. Not really a fan of Aphrodite Prime... Whilst the Aviary there will make some interesting sights (I wouldn't mind seeing them flying mantarays, jelly-fish and bubble-fish among the neo-avian flyers), if we were going to go to Venus, I'd wanna go to the Parvati aerostat.  8-)

I think Profunda has the most potential out of the three myself (and I want a flying cat... ^^)

If I could go anywhere else outside of Parvati in the Inner system, I'd like to see Nytrondheim's vast eatery selections in Mars' Valles-New Shanghai as Fox undergoes rapid-fire AR Times Square styled wall-ad hell... ^__^ It always struck me as an area he'd be too poor to reliably get about unless he had an autonomist connection there he could owe a big favour to for a night out...

As far as the Outer System goes... There are far too many places to mention in one post. :)

Considering how easy it is to switch from dude to dudette to dudeimediary I'm not sure how important gender balance is...

Cielo is duding at the moment. (Co has a variable thingy installed so co can switch back and forth without resleeving :) )

Oh yeah, I bought that as a "bodyscultping" thing for Lyscaris, I dunno if that's what it actually falls under, but I wanted Lyscaris to be able to swap.

It's a specific augmentation called "Sex Switch" and it costs a little more than bodysculpt (but not much).

EDIT: Forgot Lyscaris was in a synthmorph. Sex switch is for biomorphs only. For a synth, it probably would be just bodysculpt.
