In set up I can run to thousands of words, in dialogue heavy scenes just a few sentences to allow the other writer/characters a chance to respond. It really depends on the need of the moment and I have never seen verbosity in every single post to be an indicator of competency, far from it. Chasing verbosity as an end unto itself tends to disinterest me in writing with someone.
