So, I have had an idea, and I'm trying to find a partner for it. If you're interested in this, toss me a PM, and we will see what we can come up with!

Once Upon a Time…
There lived a kingdom. And this kingdom was ruled by a Queen. She was a good Queen, and she ruled over her people fairly. Her people prospered under her, and she was loved and respected. Save, however, for one. A sorcerer sought the throne for his own, and he waged war against the Queen with an army of his constructed minions. The Queen, as fierce and commanding in battle as she was wise on her throne, defeated the sorcerer, but not before a curse was laid on her, that her line would be forever tainted.

The Queen, having defeated her foe, married a Duke from the West. They lived together and prospered, even if the Duke spoke in a foreign way. The Queen found it charming in its own way. After many years, though, they found they lacked only one thing, an heir. The Queen remembered the curse the sorcerer had laid on her, and sought help. Her fairy godmother offered her assistance, knowing that the only thing the Queen wanted to complete their family was a child.

After many years of trying, the Queen gave birth to a child, a beautiful girl with dark eyes like her father. She grew up headstrong, from the day she learned to walk. Brave and adventurous, the russet-haired princess had every inch her mother’s skill in martial prowess.

Only a few years later, a second princess was born. Haughty, commanding, and with her father’s jet hair, she had the demeanor of a ruler about her. She could see people for who they were, and was always providing the correct response to any social situation.

But their last child was a boy, of hair like straw and frail. He was sickly, and the wiry boy spent much of his time reading. He had a secret, one that he kept from all but the eldest sister. From the day he was born, the young prince had the gift of magic. But the secret could ruin him. Ever since the Sorcerer tried to seize the kingdom, magic had been strictly outlawed, and apostates roamed the land, seeking out witches.

Now, the children have grown, and there remains only one question. Who is fit to rule? The question is not a simple one, for their parents will choose the heir some day soon, the one who is fit to rule the Kingdom…
