By our reckoning it's been 30 years since the human race almost died, in the end it wasn't some act of nature, or some massive meteorite, or climate change, or some disease, or aliens, or even fucking zombies... It was us, it was mankind and our near constant need to kill each other that nearly sent us all over the edge into oblivion. No one but the oldest among us remembers why the nations of the old world got to fighting, and honestly no one really cares, it doesn't matter anymore. What does matter is that those people started an atomic fire that raged until there was nothing left to burn. In one day, the planet stopped being a place of life and green plants, and endlessly different types of climates. Now there is only one climate, an atomic desert that never ends.

Those of us that live on do so by feeding off the corpse of the old world. Using it's scrap for our building materials, it's tools as our own, and it's weapons to protect ourselves. We live in a world of violence, hate, fear, pain, and suffering. A world where a man can be killed not only for what he has, but for what some people think he has, we live in a wasteland.

If you want to survive here you either have to find a ride, keep your tank as full as you can, keep moving, and pray you never run out of gas or into someone with a faster ride. OR you find others like yourself, people you can live with, work with, fight for, and when you've found them you stick together, you build a town, and if you're lucky it grows big enough to be safe from the outside. That's where we're at now, the town of Dry Gulch, and we're surviving.

OOC thread

Currently we are looking for females with a pause on accepting males in order to balance our gender numbers

Alright, so this is my idea for a story about a post apocalyptic town/city (depending on your definition). I see the town as being relatively large by the standards of the world they live in with nearly 150 people in the town when the average settlement has roughly 30-40 people. I'm looking for players to play citizens within the town. Ideally this would be a very free form, sandbox style game with an overarching story plot that slowly progresses as time moves on and play more focused on interactions between player characters etc. I'm looking for at least 7 players to start this off. I'll be portraying the town's mayor as well as any other important characters that don't get filled up. Players can be basically anyone they want to be, from guards, to prostitutes, to traders, to whatever. Some important town positions that are open are as follows:

The leader of the town's gaurd
The owner of the town brothel
Town's repair man/woman
The owner of the trade post

Also it should be noted that I'm looking for players who can post at the very least once every two days but preferably more, as well as players who are interested in sticking with this game and making it something that lasts and possibly grows in time.

If you've read this far, hopefully you're a bit interested. If that's the case here is some more useful info.

The Wasteland
The History
The history of the world isn't hugely important to this game, especially because the people who know it are dying out and the people who don't aren't really dying to learn it. But there are a few things that everyone knows and our players should know right off the bat.
1) There was a massive nuclear war roughly 30 years ago(the year 2027) that destroyed much of the world's infrastructure, governments, and began a destruction of it's original climate.

2) There are no real governments left, there are some leftovers such as small military bases run by surviving military personnel, as well as vip bunkers etc. But they are for the most part having just as hard a time surviving as everyone else.

3) The war wasn't just atomic, it was also biological and chemical. The effects of the chemical portion have already worn off in all but the hardest hit areas, which are still basically areas of earth covered in literal death-clouds. But the biological portion is still being felt, in the form of some offshoot diseases formed from biological agents mutating either through natural processes or exposure to radiation. As well as in the form of minor mutations caused by some of these weapons. (For reference minor mutations means, as far as humans goes, people who suffer from these mutations wind up with deformed body parts, extra digits, decreased intelligence, etc. Not Fallout style ghouls, despite how cool they are). For the most part it has been minor animal species such as rats, and some breeds of wild dog that have been noticeably changed by these mutations.

4) The times just after the war were many times more violent and dangerous then things are now.

The Climate
The climate of the wasteland can best be described as intense heat with a side of low level radiation. I'm thinking something along the lines of a Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome style desert with damn near no standing water, vegetation, etc. The sun is always shining just a little too brightly for real comfort in the day, to the point that the use of some sort of sun protection for your eyes is highly advisable if you don't want to go blind in a few years.

The Style
I'm looking for this game to have a bit more of a Mad Max/Book of Eli feel to it than a Fallout feel. This should be our timeline's future not a very different one's. That means realistic technology (explained a bit below) and other such things. For reference things along the lines of reasim such as this, this, and this are good. Where as things based on a more fantasy/high scifi setting such as This, this and this, aren't exactly what I'm going for. However stylized things that still have a basis somewhat in our reality such as this, this and this, are also very acceptable.

The Tech
There were quite a few advances in the years between 2013 and the day the bombs dropped, but nothing truly world changing. People still drove in cars, rode on planes and boats in addition to flying in cars and helicopters. There were never any laser guns invented, or fusion powered vehicles. Most cars still ran on old fashioned gasoline, though hybrid cars were making gains as the years went by. In the wasteland one can expect to see technology on par with the real world's as well as a few slightly more advanced pieces of equipment but nothing really radically different that what is available today.

The Valuables
The economy of the wasteland is quite different than that of the pre-war world. Many places run on a simple barter system in which one good or service is traded for another of near or equal value. Only the most secure settlements use formal currency and even then these currencies are no good outside the walls of the settlement that made them. Things that were once considered valuable are no longer so, and many things that once had little value are now worth massive amounts. Some of the most valuable merchandise and goods are as follows.
Valuable Goods
Water In a desert, the most valuable resource is nearly always going to be water. Now that the entire world is practically one giant desert that is especially true of the wasteland. Someone with an ample supply of water can nearly always trade for whatever they want.

Food Nearly as valuable as water, food in the form of meat, vegetables, canned goods and anything else is something that everyone needs and everyone wants.

Vehicles A good ride is a very important thing in the wastes, something fast and reliable to get you where you need to go and away from from trouble. A nice vehicle is something to be treasured and well taken care of, because often your life will depend on your machine.

Gas A ride isn't much use without something to run it with. As such gasoline in all its forms is extremely valuable.

Weapons Possessing a weapon isn't a good idea in the wasteland, nor is advisable, or even important. It is absolutely vital it is the difference between surviving the day and dying in a pool of your own blood.

Ammo Just as gas is important to your vehicle, ammo is important for your weapon. Those who plan to survive long in the wastes know to carry enough ammo.

Clothing Good protective clothing, things like strong glasses to protect your eyes, good shoes for your feet, gloves for your hands, and other such items can be traded for a good price if they are of high quality.

Luxuries Soap, shampoo, recorded music, books, nice looking clothing, fancy underwear, booze, and of course smokes. Are all worth much more than they once were, and those who are well off in the wastes will pay top price for nearly anything that lets them be just a bit more comfortable or forget the horror of where they are for even the shortest amount of time.

Valuable Human Resources
Technical Skills Someone who can build you a house, keep your car running, fix your gun, get a generator going, or has any of the other now rarefied skills needed in the wastes is a very valuable person. They are someone to be taken care of, and at times even fought over.

Combat Skills Anyone skilled at said fighting is also a very valuable person to have around, they can keep you safe and they can fight off those who would try to kill you and your family.

Knowledge Those with the knowledge of the way things were and what things from the pre-war world did are important people. They can tell you what a symbol means, they can read instructions from books to you, they can help you avoid some of the dangers of this world and live an easier life because of it.

Beauty A beautiful man or woman has a value all their own, either as a trophy for those with power, or as a member of the so called 'oldest profession.' Whether it be outright or in the guise of a relationship, the sale of one's beauty and body for protection and goods is even more common and profitable in the new world than it was in the old.

Entertainment Someone who can play an instrument, tell a good story, or sing a beautiful song can find a living using their talents to entertain others, to take them away from their sorrows  for a while and then reap the rewards of a grateful customer. Though not as valuable or sought after as many other skills, the ability to entertain others is still useful and something that the skilled can survive on.

Slavery The only thing more profitable than paying someone for their skills is not having to pay them for their skills! Slavery has become a common feature of the wastes, with those who have the strength to do so enslaving and selling off others in order to profit and survive. However many places outlaw and look down upon slavery and as such it can be a risky proposition for those looking to partake of it in more 'civilized' settlements.

The People
It is still true that every person is unique, their life experiences shaping them into who they are with no two exactly alike. BUT there are still some broad categories that most people can be loosely classified into. Their are nomadic groups of raiders and slavers who wander the wastes searching for those weaker then themselves to prey upon. There are traders who travel from settlement to settlement swapping goods in order to continue surviving. There are settlements focused on peaceful survival and trade as well as other settlements focused on isolating themselves from the outside, and even settlements which serve as ports of harbor for raiders and slavers to call their own.

Dry Gulch
The Basics
Dry Gulch is a large settlement in the wastes, with a population of roughly 150 people. The town has electric power and access to fresh water as well as fuel. It is well defended by a wall that surrounds the town, with those who man the defenses serving as Dry Gulch's guards and and personal enforcers of the law. It is a settlement who's rules and culture are focused on keeping the peace within their walls and ensuring that no uncontrolled fighting takes place within Dry Gulch, while also showing a willingness to trade just about anything with just about anyone...for the right price.

The Location
Dry Gulch, or Sommerset as it was known before the war, was once a small town near by a moderately sized hub for a commercial rail line. With many of the company's minor lines linking to it's main line within the general area of the town. The line was designed this way due to the rail company gaining the rights to a small oil well and refinery that been the original reason the town of Sommerset was built. This allowed the area to also serve as a refueling post for the line's engines.

Now, the small oil well and refinery systems are within Dry Gulch's walls and are used to provide fuel for the town's vehicles as well as the three train engines which have been converted to provide most of the town's power. Allowing it to have electricity and draw water from a small nearby source. These two features allow Dry Gulch to be self sufficient and are the reason why the town has grown to such a relatively large size when compared to it's smaller neighbors.

Important Places
Some of the more important parts of the town.

The Wall The wall is the town's primary defensive structure. It goes all around the settlement and only has one entrance. It is designed for guards to be able to walk along it's inner ledge and has several towers running along it's length as well as weapons emplacements along the inner ledge to provide ample protection from any angle.

The Brothel What was formerly the town's train station now serves as it's brothel, where a customer can get a safe bed for a bit of trade, and for a bit more trade they can get someone to share it with.

The Trade Post: Dry Gulch's primary trading outpost, almost all outside vendors trade with the post's owner which allows him/her to maintain control over new goods within the city.

The Repair Shop: The shop of the town's repairman/woman, it is where someone will need to go if they need a weapon, machine, or vehicle repaired and lack the skill or parts to do it themselves.

The Water Station: Off limits to everyone but those who work within it, the water station pumps water from the town's source into it's storage tanks where it stays until it is traded for.

The Oil Derrick & Refinery: The oil derrick sits at the center of the town and is fenced off from the general population, only those who work on it or guard it are allowed beyond it's fence. It pumps the oil to the refinery which is next door to it and also fenced off and guarded.

The Generators Three train engines which sit on the same portion of track at the far corner of the town make up what have become Dry Gulch's generators. Their engines are now run on fuel from the refinery and used to power the town rather than move the locomotives.

The Arena A former factory now serves as the town's arena which is used to settle disputes between townsfolk that have become violent.

The Law
The laws of Dry Gulch are few, simple, and focused on keeping the peace within the town while leaving people to either succeed or fail on their own. They are as follows...

No Murder: The law allows a single way for someone to kill another person. Anyone caught killing someone within the settlement in any other way is charged with, and punished for murder.[/u]

No Fighting in the Streets: Towns people are not allowed to fight in the streets, any conflicts needing to be solved will be done in the arena

Slavery Is Legal: It is legal to own slaves within Dry Gulch, however it is not legal to enslave anyone who has not broken one of the town's laws.

No Stealing: It is illegal to steal goods from others within Dry Gulch anyone proven to be stealing must face the law.

Keep Your Deals or Face The Law: Anyone who can be proven to have broken a fair trade that they have made with someone else will face punishment under the law.

Punishments & Consequences

Anyone who breaks the law will find themselves taken into captivity by the town guards and then brought to face justice. Those who have a quarrel between themselves that has led to violence are made to fight within the arena. Those who are accused of thievery but cannot be proven to have done so are made to fight their accuser within the arena. Those who commit murder, break their deals, or are proven to have stolen goods must face the wheel. The details of each are as follows.

The Arena: When citizens of Dry Gulch come to violence with one another they are brought into custody by the town guard and taken to fight in the Arena that very night. The arena itself is a large pit dug into the ground and strewn with weapons. Those involved in the conflict are lowered into the pit, and once given the signal are made to fight one another so as to determine the victor in the argument by right of strength. The weapons within the pit are determined by chance and the fight itself is fought until one side of the argument surrenders or is killed. Those who surrender within the pit must then face the wheel.

The Wheel: The Wheel is a simple spinning wheel, similar to those used on pre-war game shows. It is divided into several sections, each labeled with a lawful punishment. It stands just in front of the entrance to the pit. Those who must face the wheel are taken before it, and made to give it a spin. And as the wheel spins their fate is decided. Whatever punishment faces the convicted when the wheel stops is the punishment they will face. The possible punishments are as follows.
Death: The convicted person is put to a quick and painless death. This section of the wheel is moderately sized(2 in 20 chance)

Enslavement: The convicted is enslaved by whoever they have wronged or by the family of who they have wronged. If the one they have wrong is dead and there is no family they become a slave of the settlement. This section of the wheel is a somewhat large (3 in 20 chance)

Lose Some Goods: The convicted loses half of their goods to those they have wronged, or to the town if no one they have wronged is alive. This section of the wheel is very large (4 in 20 chance)

Lose All Goods The convicted loses all their goods, including very the clothes on their back to those they have wronged, or to the town if no one they have wronged is alive. This section of the wheel is moderately sized(2 in 20 chance)

Acquittal: The convicted receives no punishment This section of the wheel is very small (1 in 20 chance)

Al's Choice Big Al chooses the punishment for the convicted This section of the wheel is moderately sized (3 in 20 chance)

Spin Again The convicted must spin again This section of the wheel is very small (1 in 20 chance)

Exile The convicted must leave the town This section of the wheel is very small (1 in 20 chance)

Suicide Run The convicted must be taken into the wastes and sent on a suicide run to try and gather some valuable goods from a dangerous location if they succeed and survive they have served their punishment this section of the wheel is moderately sized (3 in 20 chance)

If they have a working oil refinery they've got to have a much bigger town and way more than thirty or forty people in it. It would probably take that many alone just to run the refinery. Actually, probably double that, since people can't work 24/7.

Offline UrbanzorroTopic starter

There's roughly 150 people in the town. Most average towns surrounding it have 40-50 ish people ours has 150ish

Offline JackWhite

I'm gonna claim the trade post owner character. :)

@JackWhite: Glad to have you aboard, I'll fill the slot with your name/character once you've gotten one up and approved. ;D

@Everyone else: Hope to see more interest!

Can I claim the brothel owner :D

Offline Primarch

Hey Urban! Keeping my eye on this, I've got my fingers in a couple things at the moment and I don't want to spread myself too thin, but I'm watching.

@ ElvenKitten: Yes you may, same as JackWhite. Once you've got an approved character up I'll write you in the slot

@Primarch: Good to know :-) hope to see you join in if you gwt the chance.

Offline Cosmo_ac

I admit, I've been wanting to do a post-apocalyptic game for a little while now.  I'm thinking a corrupt, alcoholic sheriff (leader of town guards) in his mid-fifties, who remembers the world before it went to hell, was their for the fight to try and save it, and lived through the fall.  You know, who also doesn't look bad and has a ten inch cock :p

At any rate, I think he could be fun.

Offline Neysha

It does seem interesting. I'm officially interested.

If you're looking for independent and economically lucrative you might want to consider being the town's repair woman ;-) or if you don't mind working for someone a town guard or skilled prostitute would also be someone who could live well.

Here's my character sheet skeleton. I'll be adding his bio and some additional images, etc tomorrow. Just wanted to give people a look at what the sheet will look like when done. Also if anyone wants to have their character have a tie in to Big Al as a friend, business partner, rival, enemy, etc. Please let me know and I'll work it into his  back story.

Big Al
Played by Urbanzorro
Age 57
Gender Male
Role In Town De Facto Mayor
Physical Details He has a number of burn scars on his right arm and the back of his right shoulder.
Personality Al is a man who was scared by the war, both physically and mentally. This leaks through into nearly every aspect of who he is, including his personality. Which can best be described as a man at war with himself. Most days he tends to keep a calm exterior whenever possible. He speaks clearly and with the best grammar he can muster. He is polite, eloquent, and tends to sound like he knows what he's talking about. He rarely raises his voice unless trying to speak to a crowd or across a distance. However his calm exterior also serves as disguise which hides the other portion of his personality. The portion of him created by the need to survive, a cold, calculating man who's drive to survive and not 'lose' to the wasteland will push him to nearly any lengths. A man who has embraced the cruelty of the wastes and rather than fight against it chooses to revel in it and use it to his advantage. Al is a man who's drive to be strong enough to survive is constantly fighting for dominance with his natural tendency of being a kinder man.
Personal History Big Al, born Allen Whitmore,  was born almost 30 years before the war, he spent his childhood and the early years of his adulthood in a world governed by laws, order, and peace. He knew the joy of a safe life and a full belly, he knew what it was to live in a world where random acts of violence were the exception, not the norm. But all that changed on the day the world burned.

Before the bombs fell he'd been nobody. Just another man making his way though life the best he could, but on the day after he was alive, and that made him somebody. He'd been working as a train conductor when the war hit and was on one of the engines as the bombs fell. After the dust had settled, Al and and the other people on the train attempted to live a nomadic life using the train to travel the rail lines.

Eventually this lifestyle became unsustainable and the group transitioned into a more stationary existence. Slowly building a town around a former rail hub and growing as best they could. As the years passed Al watched many friends die, made many enemies, and in turn watched them die. All the while maintaining a large amount of influence over Dry Gulch, the settlement he helped found, until he eventually managed to gain full control of the town. He has acted as Dry Gulch's 'mayor' for the past 17 years.

Sexual Orientation Heterosexual. Al enjoys most forms of sex with women, there are very few things he won't take some form of pleasure out of. He occasionally has sadistic moods where he takes great joy out of others' pain but is also just as likely to be a kind lover to whoever shares his bed.
Skills In his younger days Al was a pretty good knife fighter, though his age has slowed his reflexes quite a bit. He is a decent shot with a pistol and a fairly good shot with a rifle. However his real skills aren't in combat, but rather in planning and persuasion. He is very good at 'reading' people and gaining an understanding of what it is that they desire. He is also excellent at laying long term plans and seeing them through to fruition and it is these skills that allow him maintain his control over Dry Gulch.
Living Accommodations For a home Al uses a converted train car which has been fused side to side with a second train car and serves as his house as well as the town's city hall.
Notable Possessions As far as personal possessions, Al owns an old revolver, as well as a simple hunting rifle. He has his own vehicle, and owns his house as well as several items of clothing and other small luxury items. In addition to this, as 'mayor' Al has control over much of the town's resources such as it's power, water, and fuel. He rarely uses this control to do anything more than insure that these resources aren't over used to the point of running out but has been known to use his power over these things to bend others to his will when need be.
Character's Offs Al has a very open mind when it comes to sex and sexuality and has yet to find anything he doesn't like.
Player's Offs For this game my only real for sure OFF LIMITS aspect would be scat. Considering the setting I'm willing to leave open the possibility for just about anything else.

Id like to add a character in here if that's okay

Nicolas Albertine
Played by Katataban
Age 27
Gender Male
Role In Town Peacekeeper
Physical Details Has quite a few scars on his arms and torso from fending off knives and improvised weapons
PersonalityNicolas is a born soldier. Except he was born in a time where war is useless. He's strict, rigid and overly defensive of those he calls friends. The justice he meets out as peacekeeper tends to be fair, though at times he can seem rather arbitrary and overly strict with the rules. Anyone who gets to know him on a personal level see the softer, kinder side of his personality, and find him a man willing to do anything to protect them. He is gallant to a fault, bordering on chauvinism, as he believes men should treat women with deference and respect, and that they need to be protected. Even those women other men think little of. Many a man thinking he could be a little rough with a 'working girl' has found himself on the wrong end of the 'sheriff's' ire.
Personal History Nicolas was born in Dry Gulch, living with his mother. Like many young women at that time she had been raped and left at the side of the road, but the people of Dry gulch took her in, and made her, and later Nicolas, one of their own. He learned about his barbaric origins, and has lived with the sin of his father ever since, which explains his overly chivalric attitude to women. He grew up to become a strong man, and had an uncanny affinity with weapons. His mother died when he was thirteen, her experiences finally taking their toll. Nicolas started to walk along with the town's guards and peacekeepers, and soon proved himself a capable addition. Now, only 25, but with over ten years on the force, he's assumed leadership of the force.
Sexual Orientation Straight. Nicolas is a kind and gentle man. In no way submissive, but he will never hurt a woman, and even has trouble to inflict pain even if his partner asks him to
Skills Nicolas is an expert marksman, a quick shot, and very adept at close combat. He's also a very gifted speaker, able to diffuse a situation with words more often than punches or bullets. He's also trained in first aid and basic medical skills as he's often a first respondent when the shit hits the fan
Living Accommodations Although technically, he has a home in one of the old buildings, Nicolas can almost always be found in the office or on the beat. Now and again he spends a night at the brothel, though oddly without a girl
Notable Possessions Nicolas owns a shotgun as well as a hunting rifle and a sidearm his position supplies him with a car in case he needs to respond fast, or something happens outside of town
Character's Offs Rough sex, watersports, gore, vore, scat
Player's Offs I don't really do limits, though anything involving bodily waste tends to ruin it for me.

@Katataban: I'm thinking he'd to kn better as a upper level guard then the leader. Mostly because the role I see the town's guard as playing is more of a group of enforcers than of sheriffs, so based on your characters personality I think he'd fit in better as a 'good cop' foil to the rest of the town guard's 'corrupt cop' style. What do you think.

@ doodasaurus: Sounds good! :-)

Joseph Burch

floatleft][/floatleft]
Played by Cosmo_ac
Age 57
Gender Malr
Role In Town Leader of Town Guard
Physical Details Mustache is more regular then fu-man-chu-ish.  Despite his age, his body is still incredibly lean and athletic, his body similar to a swimmers build.  Multiple scars all over his torso and legs from fighting and surviving.
Personality  Joseph Burch is a man of few words, but when he speaks, smart people listen.  Even those who work for him know that he's not afraid to kill one of them if they cause him enough trouble.  Joseph likes to keep things running smooth, and by smooth, he means the way that causes him the least level of trouble.  He would much rather be in his office drinking beer or whiskey, then gunning people down, but he is perfectly fine with the second option.  Joseph tends to speak softly, never seeming to grow angry.  His many years have taught him that anger rarely is beneficial.  Joseph also seems to be a man who lacks compassion.  He has lived a long time in this horrible world, and has seen the worst it has to offer, and very few things surprise him.  Physically, Joseph's most defining characteristic is his lighting speed and accuracy with his guns.  Joseph has learned that there are quick people and dead people in the wasteland, and he was going to be a quick one.  When not drinking or doing business, he is often seen cleaning his guns and practicing using them.
Personal History  The short of it.  Joseph was a Texas Ranger, before the world turned to ash and shit.  He had a wife and daughter, who he loved very much, and at one point, he would have been considered one of the good guys.  Then the bombs fell.    As a Ranger, Joseph did his best to try and keep civil unrest from destroying his city, but  he couldn't keep things from falling apart, and eventually fled the city.  Joseph did his best to keep his family safe, but because of his compassion to a stranger, he ended up watching his wife and daughter be raped and killed in front of his eyes by a roving pack of looters, before he was beaten and left for dead.  Wandering the wastes, Joseph eventually found a small town that was surprisingly stable, a small group of Army Rangers having been in the town when the bombs fell, and using their skills and experience to keep the people safe, and some semblance of a functioning society.  Joseph, as an ex-police officer, was welcomed to join, and took to the group well, learning as much as he could from the Army Rangers.  Joseph managed to find a place where he could have some hope for humanity.  That hope came to an end when a hardline survivalist group focused it's attention on the town.  While the Rangers managed to fight them off, the town was burned to the ground, and many of the rangers died in the conflict.  Joseph once again felt a bit more of his humanity ripped from him, and went back to wandering the wastes, selling his skills to whoever would pay for them, and eventually finding himself in Dry Gulch, killing two of the local peacekeepers when they tried to shake him down.  His skills were instantly recognized, and after the mysterious death of the last leader of the town guard, Joseph has been the leader for the last ten years.

Joseph is, as one can expect, somewhat corrupt, having his fingers in many pies, and collection protection money from many of the businesses that run in Dry Gulch, or in place of money, goods and services.  However, Joseph does indeed protect the places which pay him money, with an iron fist, and those who know which places are giving him money know that if they cause trouble, Joseph will unleash the hounds of hell on them.  The last person to steal from a shop that was paying him was found the next day, his hands and penis cut off, hanging from a tree just outside of town.
Sexual Orientation Joseph has sex with women, when he chooses to have sex.
Skills Joseph is a quickdraw expert and a crack shot.  He has spent more then thirty years practicing with his guns, and it shows.  Joseph also has army Ranger training, making him very good at stealth and good at survival when needed.  His hand to hand combat skills are above average, his speed giving him a serious advantage, but it rarely ever comes to that.
Living Accommodations Joseph has a rather nice house by comparison to many of those who live in the town, fitting a person of his social status.  However, he rarely spends time there, tending to either frequent the bar or his place of work.
Notable Possessions Joseph owns a twin pair of colt .45, custom revolvers he got from his wife as a gift before the world went to hell.  Asside from that, he usually wears a leather trenchcoat, well worn but still somewhat respectable, and cowboy boots, and a small badge on his chest, his old Texas Ranger police badge.  Joseph wears his guns on his hips, much how cowboys in the day did.  He also wears a shoulder holster with a 9mm Glock, and spare clips on the other side, for times when he needs a little more rapid fire then the colts can provide.  Joseph also carries a long, bone handled hunting knife on the back of his belt, for when he needs to be silent.
Character's Offs Rape, non-con
Player's Offs just ask if you have an idea, Usually his is a Vanilla sex character.

Bertrand, Scavenger and Bounty Hunter

Played by doodasaurus

Age 29

Gender Male

Role In Town Wasteland scavenger and scout who lives in town, bartering for information and scavenged items; also mercenary and bounty hunter (for any who set a bounty on anyone else)

Physical Details Bertrand is just over six feet tall and just over two hundred pounds, muscular and lean as a middleweight, with long limbs, broad shoulders and powerful legs.  It has been observed that his hands can crack walnuts (assuming anyone can find them).  He is in very good physical condition, at the peak of his physical powers, both explosively athletic and with a gas tank that won't quit.

Personality Bertrand is shaped by his environment - he prefers actions to words and comes off like a cool customer, though he is very emotional, but in private.  He is generous with his friends, ruthless with his enemies.  He never forgives a kindness done, or an injury, either.  He is given go great laughter and deep melancholy.  He has a reputation as a man who plans ahead, but keeps his head when things don't go his way.

Personal History Bertrand comes from the wastes.  He doesn't know his mother or father.  The man who raised him, Russell, says he found Bertrand in the ruins of a hidden settlement, everyone dead but for the toddler.  Russell - who is dead, himself, now, because the wastes are hard and cruel - found he couldn't leave the child alone to die and adopted him.  Russell told Bertrand in the World Before, he was a soldier for a great nation, now dust, trained to be dropped behind enemy lines and destroy and kill.  When the war destroyed everything, Russell saw how ridiculousness of his previous life and waited to die - but he did not.  His training allowed him to live, even thrive, after a fashion, in the wilderness - he became a scavenger, bounty hunter, finder of things lost but mostly . . . a survivor.  He passed these skills on to Bertrand, who lives in the same fashion.  For years, the pair were rarely apart, keeping the same adventures and sharing the risks and profits.  Most recently, Bertrand has returned from the wastes where he has spent months getting revenge on the people who killed Russell - and a bloody revenge it was, too, none of those responsible died quickly or well.

Sexual Orientation Straight

Skills High level mastery of combat sambo, knife fighting, survival, stealth and infiltration.  He is both naturally gifted, athletically, and had plenty of opportunity to master physical skills like running, jumping and climbing.  (He's never seen enough water to swim in; he knows it's theoretically possible but he's never done it.)  He's a pretty good shot, he's good with his hands in the sense of jury-rigging his gear with scavenged materials and using what he finds in the wastes to his benefit, he can tend to common wounds, diseases and injuries.  He can make improvised weapons with the best of them (including explosives if given the right chemicals, many of which are still around, including the ingredients of black powder).  He is a survivor.

Living Accommodations He has a small place in town made up of a couple of old cargo containers placed side-to-side with a door cut through and a few windows cut through, too, including skylights for both containers - covered with rebar welded to the sides of the containers.  On the roof there is a chain fence topped with barbed wire where there is an urban garden (fed mostly with recycled water and "night soil").

Notable Possessions Bowie knife, a pair of .44 Walker black powder pistol (fully operational replicas), a .450/400 Black Powder Express double rifle with hunting scope, .44 black powder Derringer double pistol, powder horn, bag of shot, bag of percussion caps, crossbow, bolts, kevlar vest, helmet, binoculars, dirt bike, survival gear.

Character's Offs Non-con, bestiality, vore, anything more than the mildest gore, scat, incest

Player's Offs Non-con, bestiality, vore, anything more than the mildest gore, scat.

Nichole York
Played by MNBlend
Age Young to Mid Twenties
Gender Female
Role In Town Handyperson/Tinker
Physical Details Black Roman Catholic Cross Tattoo on right thigh
Personality Kelly is somewhat addicted to wanderlust. Fairly selfish, she does care quite a bit about friends and family, but has little consideration or regard for most other people in general regardless of their station in life. She also has little regard for annoying things like laws and social mores or civil concepts, using and breaking them at her own convenience. She can enjoy action, and excitement and gets a positive rush just as much from helping someone she cares about, or basking in the adoration of people she may have helped, as she is in doing the opposite, such as the juice she used to get from a brief forays into criminality and her many close calls with her own livelihood and survival.
Personal History Nichole York is from a big family, which makes sense because she is a member of the traditionally itinerant people known as Irish Travelers. According to their oral history, her peoples lineage goes back a thousand years, though they didn't arrive in America until the 1850's and for the most part, have been traveling ever since.

It was largely due to their self reliant, tightly knit, small community and constantly mobile lifestyle that her community emphasized. These were all important factors that not only spared them from the immediate destruction of Armageddon, but separated them from the vast numbers of refugees that were the result of the conflict. However, despite the inherent benefits of their community, Nichole was born into a deadly and dangerous world. Having never known of the world before beyond the oral history of her people and what she read, she was inoculated against many of the dangers at an early age as her community confronted and survived much trial and tribulation as well as deprivation.

As an example of the hardships in her life, Nichole, following the traditions of her people, had been married once when she was sixteen, and again when she was eighteen, but had lost both of her husbands, one to an illness and the other to violence by an external group. After almost thirty years of a post-apocalyptic itinerant lifestyle, the Traveler community had dwindled in numbers, especially among the traditional defenders, the menfolk. As a result, they decided to finally engage in a more semi-nomadic lifestyle, their community settling partially in Dry Gulch as well as other smaller nearby communities. As a result, some of her, now largely female, relatives and fellow travelers live either in the Gulch or in nearby communities, making a living as best as they can amongst the 'country people.'

Sexual Orientation Bisexual- Male Oriented
Skills
Fieldcraft- Having grown up as nomadic travelers in the wake of the apocalypse, she has a surprising plethora of experience in trackers via various means, wilderness related camouflage, navigation, observation, infiltration and evasion, reading terrain, stalking, fieldcraft, and proficient survivalist skills as well as wilderness knowledge and lore of various flora and fauna. Has a basic understanding of firearms and their utilization.

Gearhead- She possesses familiarity not only with the traditional field of experience of fixing utensils and metalware, but has diversified her skills far beyond in being very capable and skilled mechanics when it comes to vehicles, appliances, weapons, and other machines and technical work. Mostly however, she focuses on basics, such as repair and/or maintenance work on homes, vehicles, interiors and exteriors and basic structures and the like. Basically the equivalent of extremely skilled handyperson type.

Housemaking- She's well versed in the homemaking arts, which includes all of the C's like Cooking, Cleaning, Childcare and ummm uhhh... first aid. That doesn't start with a C but close enough. All of her homemaking skills are reinforced by the fact that she has been raised in the post apocalypse and so she makes do with more 'primitive' solutions when it comes to her household duties.

Music- She is musically inclined and possesses a great voice as well as some skill on guitars, ukeles and even a piano if she can get her paws on one.

Living Accommodations Airstream Steel Caravan Trailer.
Notable Possessions  12 Gauge Side by Side Break Action Shotgun Custom 'Boutique' Made, Shortwave Radio, Half a caravan full of other knick knacks.
Character's Offs She's not particularly wild, but that might be because she hasn't tried much beyond being the submissive partner in vanilla sex.
Player's Offs Excessive BDSM, and the usual water/scat/toiletplay and stuff like snuff and mutilation.

@xSnorkleRainbow & Caela: Glad to have you both aboard.

@Everyone: That brings our total character count up to 6 with 4 boys and 2 girls. Assuming both XSnorkleRainbow and Caela play females that would give us 4 males and 4 females which would be a good starting point. I should have an OOC up tomorrow some time so we can get to discussing how our characters know one another/if they already have some history prior to game start.

Alexander Campbell
Played by JackWhite

Age 32 years old

Gender Male

Role In Town Trade Post Manager

Personality Alexander notices scams before the other has even offered them. He knows how to get bargains like no other. When not at work, this man is very friendly and he offers a helping hand when needed but when someone has tried a trick on him once that all disappears. At that point such people are invisible for him, even when they are in trouble.

Personal History The family Campbell had always been a family of traders. At first they travelled several cities to make a nice profit. The smaller ones were in need of gasoline and the bigger ones seemed to appreciate other nice things. That’s how they became rather wealthy. When Alexander was born, his parents decided to find a place to settle down and start using the cash that they’d earned. Dry Gulch was an ideal location for it as it seemed to be growing at that time as one of the first bigger towns. Alexander had grown up with the family business, learned his way around it and it had been an obvious call for him to take over what his father had started. For years now he has been doing well, making sure that the town has everything they need.

Sexual Orientation Heterosexual.

Skills

Trader – Knows the right people and gets most of the trades in town going. Is the only one that has a good income of new things from outside town.
Music – Thinks of himself as a not too bad guitar player.

Living Accommodations Has a place of his own, right next to the Trade Post. It’s slightly more comfortable than in an average place in this town.

Notable Possessions Trade Post, a shotgun for defending himself, a nice guitar.

Character's Offs Non-con, bestiality, vore, anything more than the mildest gore, scat, incest

Player's Offs bestiality, vore, anything more than the mildest gore, scat.

Kayla Stevenson
Played by Caela

Age 27

Gender Female

Role In Town Bar Owner

Physical Details Kayla stands at 5'11 and has a tattoo of an Ouroboros on her right shoulder. She also has a small lily tattooed on her left ankle as a reminder of her Mother.

Personality Kayla is vibrant and kind but there's a core of steel under her kindness. If betrayed she'll seek vengeance with a cold minded determination and patience, waiting until the betrayer is least expecting revenge to come for them. Despite the cold temper though, she usually has a smile or a laugh ready for those she knows and is excellent at listening to, and helping solve, problems for people.

Personal History Kayla is young enough that she doesn't remember the world before the war except from the old picture albums her Mother had. Pictures that Kayla never looks at anymore because the images of a world that was lush, and green, and inviting, are just too depressing when compared to the world as it is now.

Before the war her Father had been a bar owner who had seen the writing on the wall before everything went to hell. He'd stockpiled both booze and weaponry, figuring that if the worst happened that both could be used as a form of currency in a post war world. He'd also built a small still so that he could make more booze once his stockpiles ran out. Her Mother had thought he was crazy, but when the worst actually came to pass, she was grateful for her husbands forsight...especially when they had a daughter just a few years after the end of the war.

Lily (Kayla's Mother) had tried to make sure that her daughter grew up as normally as was possible in the new world, but her efforts were cut short when she died when Kayla was just 10. Her Father did the best to pick up the slack, but as the sole provider for a small child, he was absent a lot and Kayla pretty much raised herself from then on.

Just two years ago, her father died as well, leaving his one child the bar he'd been running for years.

Sexual Orientation Kayla is straight and likes her sex a bit rough and tumble. Used to having to be totally in charge of every other area of her life, she likes men that aren't shy about taking charge.

Skills Kayla can mix a mean drink, run (and repair) the still her father left to her, do minor repair work, make the best of what little there is to cook, and is an excellent problem solver.

Living Accommodations She has a small apartment over her bar.

Notable Possessions She inherited a still, a bar, and a rifle (and plenty of ammunition) from her father two years ago.

Character's Offs Weak men, submission, bestiality, blood (beyond the little that might be drawn from a lovers bite or scratch)
Player's Offs urine, scat, mutilation, bestiality

On the other hand, fierce competition over limited resources is a theme in the game, amirite?  ;D

Evelyn Lily Raine
Played by xSnorkleRainbow
Age 19 Years.
Gender Female.
Role In Town Entertains and helps out at the Brothel.
Physical Details Standing at only 5'1", Evelyn is a petite girl. Because of her fragile form, she is quite pale and thin. Her blonde hair falls to the middle of her back in gentle waves when loose and her eyes are a light, dulled blue colour. She is very innocent looking and it is quite obvious that she's not as strong as others her age may be because of how she looks and her body language.

Personality Evelyn is a friendly person, though she can be quite timid and quiet around strangers as well as people she's known for a long time. Being brought up in a Brothel, she sees her fair share of sexual content, but that doesn't mean she's used to it in the slightest. Evelyn will never give up the chance to help someone, even if they are a stranger in need, and this can lead to her being slightly naive and gullible, but despite what many may think, she does have commen sense. She is very curious about a lot of things and this can sometimes mean she pushes herself too much physically. She can sometimes be a little too stubborn for her own good; she doesn't like asking for help or people fussing over her too much. She is often short of breath and struggles to get around for long periods of times without a rest, but this doesn't mean she sits in the Brothel all day, every day as she can seems to bore quite easily.

Personal History Evelyn was born to a whore, plain and simple. She was a month or two premature and this is the reason she is so weak, of course, the environment doesn't exactly help her. Somehow, she survived child birth, however her mother did not. She didn't know her mother and only knows whats been told to her from stories of the girls in the Brothel. Life was very hard for her when she was a child but has seemed to get a little easy as shes gotten older. Her mother was very close with the previous Brothel owner and had apparently asked her to take care of her baby when she was born; Evelyn didn't have a father, after all. When the Madam died years later, she passed on the message to the next owner who had been her right hand girl throughout the years Evelyn was born. The girl, Laura Jacobs, took her under her wing a little and gave her odd jobs to do around the Brothel to earn her keep. Many think it's time for her to take on the real work of the Brothel and she has been propositioned quite a few times by clients of the establishment, but for some reason, what Evelyn thinks of as her health, Laura has yet to put her to real work. Instead, Evelyn is often found singing as entertainment at the Brothel or clearing and cleaning and other jobs likes those. In all honesty, Evelyn does not want to carry on with her mothers work and instead wants to find some way out of the Brothel, despite the people she loves being around residing there; the work is just not for her.

Sexual Orientation Bisexual with a preference for Men. (At game start she is a Virgin.)
Skills Evelyn has been told she is an exceptional singer and it's also something she enjoys. She isn't a steamstress yet, but can tidy up clothes with her needle and thread when needed to. She's worked a little with knives, but only in the Kitchens though it's probably she could defend herself long enough to get away, if needed.
Living Accommodations Evelyn currently lives at the Brothel.
Notable Possessions The only noteable possesion that Evelyn owns would be her mothers pendant which was given to her by the previous owner of the Brothel. She also has a few pairs of clothes and such, but nothing worth noting. She keeps a very small pocket knife with her when she leaves the Brothel, which she usually keeps on her person somewhere.

Character's Offs Rough Sex, Vomit/Scat/Bodily Fluids, Vore, Bestiality, Blood-play, Anal, Weak Willed Partners, Indecisive Partners, Cry Babies/Whiners.
Player's Offs Pregnancy, Anal, Bodily Fluids, Extreme Bondage, Needles, Mutilation.

Looking for females still?

Are there any actual whores yet? I'd love to make a prostitute.

Janie Laurence
Played by elfguy

Age 22

Gender F

Role In Town Official: Town's book keeper, Unofficial: Assassin and problem solver

Physical Details Pretty much as seen in the picture

Personality Janie has a friendly attitude and if you get past her imposing demeanor, she is very approachable. However, when dealing business, she can be ruthless and cold blooded.

Personal History No one knows where Janie comes from, even she doesn't know exactly where she was born. In fact her parents brought her to this town a number of years ago, where she volunteered for the job of book keeper. While on the road, she used to recruit people for trading caravans and thus became good at keeping track of employees, threats, merchandise and so on. However, anyone who sees her would notice that she doesn't act like a desk girl, someone used to spend all her days in books. If you watch her for a bit, it's easy to notice her quick reflexes, and she always seems to be carrying weapons, from hidden knifes to hand guns. The truth is that she has a dark side, a hidden part that loves violence, and craves blood. She quickly found out that few are interested in what happens to other people, and it was trivial for her to get rid of a troublemaker and then erase his entire existence from the books. Soon, people smart enough to realize her true skills came to her and she offered to solve their 'problems' for a fee. It's an open secret that when someone needs a problem solved, something that guards don't want to deal with, she is the girl to see. Even though she often operates outside the law, she kills outside the walls, and no one can prove anything. In fact, quite a few highly placed people make use of her services, so they are all but willing to turn a blind eye.

Sexual Orientation Bi

Skills Officially, her very disciplined attitude and attention to details makes her an excellent book keeper, keeping track of everything from who lives in the village, when people are born, to the stocks of food, weapons, and so on. Unofficially, she is excellent with small arms, knives, and she is also very good at hand to hand combat, having had plenty of opportunities to practice before she came to town.

Living Accommodations Janie lives by herself in a tiny home, in between two buildings. She seems to like it that way.

Notable Possessions Several knives, a few handguns, quantity unknown to anyone but herself. Otherwise she has very few possessions.

Character's Offs Everything welcomed, especially rough and degrading sex, except futas.

Angela "Ginger" McKinley
Played by Christa McGinn
Age 25
Gender Female
Role In Town Prostitute

Physical Details
Angela's nickname obviously came from her natural hair color, which is a dark copper red. She has pale skin and freckles, which is NOT conducive to good health in this post-nuclear wasteland. Her eyes can look green or blue, depending on the light, and her hair falls to  her mid-back in loose curls. Her face is pretty, and she knows how to make herself appealing with what little make-up she can find or trade for, or make from the very few plants that grow in the area. She is 5'4" and about as curvy as a young woman can be while still living in the wasteland. She is still petite and strong, but she does have a nice hourglass figure. She has tattoos that the slaver gave her, although she had others made to cover up some of her old slave ones.

Personality
Ginger is smart, clever and witty, and she doesn't let anyone walk over her or the other girls. In her opinion, prostitutes are the most in-demand professionals, so they deserve respect. She is kind and protective, but fierce and strong. Stubborn as a mule, she is independent and strong-willed...and very impatient. Naturally sensual, she has learned to be more seductive from her profession, so she is a very sexual woman now. She is maternal and passionate, as well as creative and easily distracted. She can be a hot mess or an elegant courtesan, depending on the day...or even hour. However, around clients, she is always Laura's best girl. There's a reason she's the top earner in the brothel, and she is proud of that fact. The only reason she rarely goes outside is because of the sun and its effect on her skin. If it's night, she's all about it. She is almost naively fearless, but has an irrational fear of snakes.

Personal History
Angela was born 5 years after the war ended to a relatively 'normal' family. However, the world wasn't normal anymore. They tried to live in a sort of 'fixed-up' suburb, but it was really just a group of house skeletons with tarps as roofs. She and her two younger siblings (a brother and a sister) were pretty much on their own from the time they could walk. Her father had died of radiation poisoning, and her mother had gone insane afterward. She soon killed herself, and Angela was the oldest at 10. She knew that three children by themselves would be sold off to traders, so she hid her and her siblings in an abandoned house and did her best to raise them. She was the only parent they remember.

As they got older, they were able to hop on a trade caravan supposedly heading to a city. The caravan was hijacked by slavers, and she and her siblings were separated. Angela was out of her mind with grief and that night, managed to escape her captors. She found the caravan again, but everyone who was left had been slaughtered. She was 16.

She spent the next two years searching for her brother and sister, and she finally got a lead that led her to one of the most ruthless slave camps known in the area. She thought her skills were good enough that she could scout unseen, but that didn't work. She was soon captured, and even though she fought tooth and nail, they kept her. Trying to...train...her for sexual slavery. She lost her virginity when she was 18 to a mean brute of a slaver when he raped her. He continued to do this even after others suggested she was ready to be sold, but he didn't want to give her up. When she asked about her siblings, she was told that they had been there, but had died during their training in the fields.

That's when she found out she was pregnant. Although she knew it was the slaver's, she swore that she would make this a good thing. She would be a good mother, and she'd escape. She almost made it, too, but when she tried, the slaver was ready. He kept her under lock and key until she had the baby, and then refused to let her even see her daughter before the infant was taken away to be sold. Apparently babies fetched a lot from mothers who had lost their own children during the war or to the dangerous wastelands afterward. She had named her little girl Rachel, and now that her heart was broken from learning of her siblings' fate, she was doubly miserable. This led her to finally succeed at an escape attempt when she was 21, and she left that hell. She never looked back.

Then she found Dry Gulch. As she has deep trust issues, she was slow to accept anything, but she got to know the brothel owner and realized that this could be her way to recover from her past. She would be doing the same thing she was trained to do, but she would get paid for it. She wasn't a slave. She was a business woman. Plus, now that she had sex on her own terms, she actually began to enjoy it. She has been there for 4 years now, and has slowly risen through the ranks to be Laura's top girl.

Angela hasn't forgotten her daughter, and she constantly asks travelers for any information that might give her something to go on. So far, she has had no luck.

Sexual Orientation
Although Angela classifies herself as a bi, she is actually more straight. She prefers men to women, and in that way, loves as many men as they can give her. Perhaps it was because of her abuse, but she now has a penchant for rough sex. Bondage, pain and male domination turns her on. She loves oral, and she is quite kinky considering her past. She will not associate with clients under the age of 18, and scat is completely off limits.
Skills Sex, Survival, Seduction, Cooking, Camping, Escape, Creating Cosmetics and Medicines from Herbs
Living Accommodations Room at the brothel.
Notable Possessions An old picture of her family, an iron dagger and various things from her previous home and life that she keeps in a knapsack.
Character's Offs Rape, Non-Con, Underage Characters (18+ please), Watersports, Scat, Anal, Bestiality, Torture.
Player's Offs Underage Characters (18+ please), Scat

@Chreesstafer: Looks good so far, though you'll need to explain his military training in his bio due to there being pretty much no military by the time he was born. Also please list your major ons/off as opposed to simply saying to look in your on/offs thread, I want everyone's sheets to serve as a quick reference where everyone's on/offs can be seen as opposed to players having to link to another page.

Kk ill work it all up properly tomorrow.   His training though will come from his parents (who were military)

In essence he grew up in a military base colony that banded together to live on the base after the war.  There they still trained the young in schooling and military tactics (as if it mattered) he doeznt have any tours of duty under his belt or anything just what hez been taught.

What I have so far, working on the last bits and will try and finish them tonight. But I'm starting to get rather sleepy so it may be tomorrow morning before I get it done.

Lola
Played by Curvykitten
Age 24
Gender Female
Role In Town Gardener and Supply runner...yes she is that ballsy
Physical Details
Hair: Black/Dark Brown
Eyes: Brown
Skin Tone: Medium
Height: 5'4.
Measurements: 34-26-38C
Other:A scar that runs up the left side of her spin, it's faded over the years but it looks as if someone tried to slice her. Strange scars that look almost surgical in nature in verious places on her body. A strange tattoo one her right wrist half scratched away by her own fingers.
Personality Lola isn't as soft and sweet as her name would lead you to believe. She has a strong will, a loyal heart, is stubborn as hell, and has a temper that can rival and shake anyone around her. When you’re on her good side she is playful, tricky, a bit of a smart ass, and loyal to a fault. When you’re on her bad side however, she can be a force to be recoded with. Her anger when uncontrolled can be a freighting thing. She is a person of passion, when she gives in and embraces it she can be your worst enemy or the best lover you've ever had. She is heat, passion, exploration, strength, intelligence, all in one untamed and amazingly curvy well-toned body.
Personal History
Most everyone had a story, a place they came from, family and friends they had lost. Memories of the war, or the way the world fell apart afterward. The fires that burned away the lush green and dried up some of the oceans. Yeah sure most had something that explained how they had become who they were, or how they ended up in a place like Dry Gulch. So why didn't she? How could a person just wake up one day to a world that had turned to hell and have no idea how it all began? Most of all how could they not know who they were? All really good questions, questions that Lola couldn't answer.

All she knew was that one day she woke up in what was left of an old hospital, or at least that was what it seemed like. How she knew that was beyond her, but there she was in nothing but a gown as walls fell around her. Confusion and fear filled her mind and she did what her body naturally told her to do. She ran, as fast and as far as her bare feet could get her. The broken down colony burning away, its ashes were the only thing left after a rouge scavenger group attacked.

Lost and confused Lola scavenged for what she could, somehow having a good handle on survival skills. She managed to pull together some gear and found herself leaving what was left of the small colony and venturing out into a very strange new world.

As Lola traveled she realized she had a great many skills, each one needed to survive. She did come across people, some weren't so bad. A odd married couple put her up for a few days and even helped her pick out a name. Lola after a fun little song that she seemed to like very much. But as all good things do, that too had to come to an end. As wild mutated dogs attacked the small home, killing the couple and taking the small sense of stability that Lola had found away. So again she found herself traveling, wondering the lonely roads. Sometimes finding fellow travelers that helped, and sometimes finding those that just took what they wanted.

Years passed and soon Lola found herself camping outside a small colony. Not yet sure if the group inside could be trusted or not. But soon her answer came as the colony was attacked, by a group she had come across before. So without hesitation Lola road her bike into town and help lay waist to the gang that was attacking Dry Gulch. That was where she was attacked, and where she gained the scar that cut so harshly along her back. She was trying to help a teenage kid to cover; their panic caused them to get caught just long enough for Lola to be cut down. The next thing Lola knew was she was waking up in their make shift clinic. Being told it was a miracle she survived, but that she still had a great deal of healing to do. Al said she would be safe, taken cared of since she helped fight off the attackers.

A few years later Lola found herself still in that small colony. Only a select few knew what her past held, but even with that unknown lingering in her thoughts. Lola found herself a place to belong, finding that she did in fact have skills that not only helped the colony but helped her find a sense of purpose. So....what will her story hold from here on out? Where was she really from? Did she have someone that cared for her, someone looking for her? Who was she? These were all questions she still couldn't answer, but at least she found a place that helps her forget to ask them...at least for a little while.

Sexual Orientation straight with a few bi thoughts but has never slept with a woman
Skills
Gardening: Carmen seems to have the greatest green thumb left in this hell of a world. She has managed to work some bits of soil into growing food, and a hydroponic garden for just about everything else. She grows what ever she can get a hold of, so to her seeds are actually quite valuable.
Survivalist: Carmen as been a survivor all her life, and has honed those skills to a a near mastery of the art.
Combat: where there are those that say they have trained for years in a style, Carmon can simply say she has been fighting all her life. She may not be trained in a specific style. But she will do everything she can to win the fights she does get into.
Dancing: Though it isn't a skill she show often at all, it is still a skill she holds. And even if she doesn't share it with just anyone, well let just say those that do see it don't forget it.

Living Accommodations A modified addition to the green house, that is basically a studio apartment.
Notable Possessions Motorcycle modified for extended runs, large hunting knife that is always kept sharp, gardening tools, books and different music players and music (she collects them), survival gear, shot gun, shell press to make her own bullets (she is known to fill them with rock salt), protective gear she wears on her runs,
Character's Offs being forced, anal, bathroom play, excessive pain, extreme bondage, humiliation
Player's Offs bathroom play, humiliation, scarring or branding my character,

Yeah. And I'm definitely not saying to turn away any girls, it's just that as long as that label is in the title, we'll be getting tons of girls and no guys...which is quickly becoming the opposite of what we need. ;)

Akiko Mizuchi   "The Karate Hottie"

Played by Wicked Vixen

Age 27

Gender Female

Role In Town Prostitute and Supply Runner

Physical Details Honey colored skin, jet black hair stopping at just above her butt and dark brown eyes.
Height 5'5
Measurements 32D-24-36

Personality Akiko is a very fun loving person while in a non-serious situation. She is very loyal, headstrong and self-confident due to her upbringing as well as the discipline she earned through her many years of practicing martial arts. Despite her strict upbringing she was and still is a free spirit. Once she learned the joys and pleasures of sex she became addicted to how powerful and sexy it made her feel when she could make her lover (either male or female) become like putty in her hands. She enjoys bringing pleasure to others as well as being desired. However once she's stepped into the ring or is forced to deal with a serious situation she becomes cold, calm and analytical. When she becomes serious it is as if she becomes a different person though it is her training kicking in to help her and her attempt to protect her sanity.

Personal History  Daughter to a prominent and strict Martial Artist, her father trained her at the age of five in various martial arts (Karate, Muay Thai, Kick-boxing) determined to create an "ultimate weapon" as he would not allow his daughters to become simple sex slaves for a bunch of rogue thugs. Despite the age difference though they were only a year apart he forced them to fight deciding the winner would be the one he pushed them to their limits and beyond. Her sister was not neglected by their father but he did not push her as hard as he did Akiko. Akiko unfortunately being a naturally gifted fighter became the object of her father's teachings. She was then forced to undergo intense physical training in the various styles her father hand picked for her. Despite her preference for cooking, camping and figures her father pushed her and pushed her never holding back when he sparred with her. Training consisted of many different methods some unorthodox and cruel. After it rained he would sit her under a small steadily dripping flow of water from the roof and make her stick her hand in and out without getting it wet. Her failure to do so would be met with a hard blow. He employed other such methods to maximize her strength, stamina, speed and reflexes. It wasn't until Akiko turned 18 when her world became torn apart. One day when she was out scavenging for supplies at her father's request she came back in the middle of finding her father bartering off his second daughter for supplies. Akiko was enraged and attacked the group with the sole goal in mind to tear the men even her own father apart. Instead what had happened was in the middle of the ensuing chaos in which her sister bravely fought against her would be masters as well as her father fighting to protect his own life against the bandit thugs as they decided to kill him and beat the two women into submission. Her sister was shot from behind and as Akiko smashed a black iron pipe into the man's skull she held onto her sister as she felt the life slowly fade away from her older sister. Her father had been stabbed in the gut and as Akiko took what she deemed necessary to survive until she found a new home she looked down at him as he lay bleeding in the dirt and without a word she turn and left him to die. Disheartened that a man would sell his own daughter for his own selfish gain, she set off to find a new home. (I will finish and update this soon I am not yet done, Will explain why she is a prostitute)

Sexual Orientation Bisexual. Oral (giving and receiving), Dominant Partners, Dirty Talk, Exhibitionism, Cum, Creampies, Throat Fucking, Vaginal, Anal, Multiple Partners (Men & Women), Forced, Hand jobs, Cumming multiple times, Ripped clothing, Rough sex, Breast play, Nipple play and just plain old Vanilla sex.

Skills

Martial Artist skilled in Karate, Muay Thai and Kickboxing .

Cook Akiko is not a chef but she can make a nice meal even out of a meager supply of ingredients.

Survivalist Akiko has knowledge on how to live off the land and to protect herself. Is able to recognize many different plants and herbs.

Seduction Akiko has learned how to use her curvy figure to get what she wants or to just make her lovers happy. She is very beautiful and knows that her striking beauty can be advantageous in many different situations.

Rae
Played by Eobelle
Age 19
Gender Female
Role In Town Rae is a guttersnipe and scavenger, who very recently has been hired on at The Brothel.
Physical Details
- naturally white hair (but she does dye is with random things, like juice, found kool aid or jello, actual scavenged hair dye, henna, or other random colorful things she finds that will deposit in her hair)
- no pubic or body hair.
- Exceedingly flexible and slender.
- Rae has not had a real period her whole life, maybe spotting once or twice a year.
- Rae is completely unaware of most social mores, and most often wears only a headdress or other jewelry and boots (sometimes a belt), eschewing other clothing unless necessary.
- She also loves color and will often paint on herself with Henna, makeup, or scavenged paint (rarely designed to be body paint)

Personality
- Curious and impulsive
- Playful and wacky
- Wild and instinctive
- Creative and passionate
- Rae often gets herself into trouble.  She desperately wants to please, and will happily do things for people she likes (even when not asked for).
- She has a poor grasp of language and is unsure socially, preferring to speak in a sort of postural body language, as well as reading other’s body language for clues.
- As a feral, she is very shy and nervous in bartertown. She is especially skittish around men, as she has been raped not a few times, and prefers the company of women.

Personal History
Rae is a feral child, who has been alone in the wasteland for almost as long as she can remember. Her parents were travellers, who had a small tent-trailer that was pulled by a mule.  They were not in a caravan, and tended to trade with groups that others refused to visit, such as  mutants or raiders.

Rae spent most of her time with her parents getting into small spaces to salvage bits of the old world that were inaccessible to others, or searching for food or water. She had no experience trading, as she was always sent out to hide while her parents were on a deal.

When she was an early adolescent, a deal with a tribe of mutants went badly for her parents; she watched them hack her fathers body to bits as they brutally raped her mother.  She doesn’t know if her mother is dead or alive, as they dragged off her body to their camp.
Since then she avoided most contact with people for many years, only making her way to settlements to trade when it was absolutely necessary. a few months ago she came to bartertown for the first time, and saw her first prostitute, which Rae decided was the most beautiful sight she had ever seen.

Since that time, she has not left the settlement.  She lived in hidey-holes and crawl spaces for that time, secretly leaving scavenged baubles at the door or in window sills of the brothel.  Finally she was caught, and accepted as a new employee.

Rae has a very poor idea about the concept of employment, payment, or “working hours” which is less than idea;, but her lack of social taboos means that she is a successful performer, and will do many acts that would horrify other prostitutes in the brothel.

Sexual Orientation Omnisexual
- Rae is attracted to women, as tries to make that attraction known by touching them or herself in ways that will not be ambiguous.
- Male features remind her of the brutish mutants that raped her mother, which is strangely one of the images that enters her mind the most while masturbating.  She is scared of them, and not attracted to them, but will fuck them if directed to by the brothel owner (or a pretty woman that she wants to impress).
- Despite her lack of attraction or desire, she enjoys the actual act of having sex with men; The fear, pain, and disgust involved in being forced only amplifies this enjoyment, much to her chagrin.

Skills Contortions, acrobatics, scavenging, survival, working with animals, Crafting from random bits, fingerpainting

Living Accommodations Either in the brothel, or in crawlspaces and other hiding places, dependant of the wishes of the brothel owner.

Notable Possessions an old leatherman multi-tool.

Character's OffsHeterosexual encounters, gore, scat, vore, watersports

Player's Offs gore, scat, vore, watersports

Additional Images
I have so many pictures for Rae, I made an album for her, instead of posting individual pics.

Yeah. And I'm definitely not saying to turn away any girls, it's just that as long as that label is in the title, we'll be getting tons of girls and no guys...which is quickly becoming the opposite of what we need. ;)

Dunno. With all these Bi and bicurious women I don't think a skewed ratio would be so bad. Besides, I doubt the guys wouldn't mind pulling 'double duty'

Actually the ne is often dropped by native French speakers, as it is kind of irrelevant. It's kind of like when Americans say ain't (am not or is not) or British people saying innit (is it not)

Besides, I never liked ne as an adjective. why would you say no in something already negative. "I no regret nothing." So wait do you regret nothing, or don't you regret nothing. Make up your mind. Silly French people :P

I don't mind that french is kind enough to let you know that the sentence itself is negative upfront, even if the object is a negative.  Now pronouncing french... that is FAR more difficult and confusing for me than the syntax.

I don't find it sad.  I reconciled myself, long ago, to the fact that all artists are gigantic thieves.  Shakespeare wrote almost no original plays, amirite?  Almost everything he wrote was already a work in current popular circulation!

Yeah i deal with French people a lot in my job. Some of them use their grammar correctly, many do not. But to be honest that can be said for the Brits, Germans, and Americans I deal with as well. And these are educated people.

Was this setting not supposed to be a post apocalyptic one?

In which case loss would likely be suffered by everyone. I doubt we'd be seeing many Hungarian Jews passing the mad lib test for example.

Everywhere is like that. Everywhere with a written and spoken language is like that. I hate how lazy people have gotten with text speak and grammar online, but in speaking, I don't find it offensive. I'm from the country, and although we are far from uneducated, we have regional traits in our language that may sound funny to others. Every language and dialect is different and unique, but humans are generally the same everywhere. :)

And I remember that there's a Madam, darling, but I just know that Ginger is extremely protective...especially in such a dangerous environment.

I'm strict about spelling, capitalization and punctuation, but I know that I don't use the "exact" textbook grammar in all my RP. No one does. However, I think aiming for at least the correct words and punctuation marks can be accomplished by everyone.

And I'm sure that you don't use your spoken grammar and written grammar correctly 100% of the time, Kat. ;)

Well officially my native tongue is American English, but i grew up speaking mostly Dutch.

As for fluency, I speak English (mix of US and real English), French, German, Dutch and Afrikaner. And I can sort of get by in Spanish and Swedish most of the time.

Impressive. American English is my first, obviously, but French would be my second. I'm not sure I'd say I'm fluent in it, though. I'm conversational, and I can communicate. I get more fluent when I'm there and among other french speakers.

I love languages, though, and I plan to learn others. And I definitely want to be fluent in French...and maybe others as well. I know a bit of Spanish and some other languages like Chinese and Italian, but I'd only count English and French as languages I can speak and write.

Sorry. When I made Ginger, she was the only one, so I said she was Laura's 'top girl.' That doesn't have to be the case, though. I think Ginger might be Big Al's personal whore (like, always available when he comes in) if UZ still wants to, but I don't want anyone to think I'm putting Ginger above the others.

I met her in a club down in old Soho Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry-cola.

Sorry that name always brings out that song.

I like the character though.

Two things I always hated were accordions and polka, and still this is my favourite all time artist.

I love her Kitty. Just as I said, whenever I hear that name that song pops in my head. Which was annoying with an ex-girl of mine whose mom was named Lola.

Oh! And btw, there are some openings for future characters from Ginger's past.

She has a younger brother and sister, but I didn't give the ages, and she assumes they're dead. They don't have to be dead, as the slavers could have lied. Also, there's the evil slaver who kept her as his personal sex slave for a long time. She escaped from him, but he could have managed to somehow find her.

Lt. Commander Nicholai "Nikki" Phoenix
Played by Chreestafer
Age 24
Gender Male
Role In Town Doesn't belong to the town, Drifter
Physical Details Check photos, Distinguishing factors are the burn scars that cover his bare chest
Personality Very quiet and shy at first but opens up when he warms up to others.
Personal History As the bombs feel and the earth bellow their feet rumbled and crumbled to pieces, the two entranced set of eyes met for the first time.  This is how Nikki's parents met for the first time, as the nukes went off and decimated the planet, Nikki's father found a young, innocent, and fragile woman who he took a fancy to.  Nikki Sr was an officer in the army, A leader of men and woman held up in a small fort in the northern eastern area of the united states.  Nicholai's mother was a professional chief, making her way up the ranks to head chief of the small restaurant she worked at. Their little end of the world love story lead one way then another and soon a child was born.

Nicholai "Nikki" Phoenix came into this hellish world on an Army base.  The fort was a small one only holding 20 some soldiers and a handful of civilians.  Here Nikki spent his life with a repetitive process his father dubbed "the routine".  0500 hours, wake up; make bed; meet mother in kitchen.  0615 hours, cook breakfast with mother; eat breakfast; leave for training.  0700 hours until 1130 hours, train with father on military tactics and weapons training.  1200 hours, cook lunch with mother.  1300 hours until 1800 hours, school work like math and history.  1900 hours cook dinner with mother.  2000 hours till 2100 hours free time.  2130 hours bed time.

for 19 years Nikki did the same thing day in and day out.  Learning and training was all he did, on the not so rare occasion bandits or groups of cannibals attacked the base making feeble attempts to take the weapons and foods and women on the inside.  Over the years the food and weapons left, so soon came the inhabitants moving on to new homes.  The fort dwindled down to just a handful of people, mostly military, and one fateful night the bandits attack came swiftly and skillfully.  Nikki was 22 at this moment, and though he fought valiantly, he was forced to escape into the unknown world all about him.  Last he saw of his parents was his mother laying motionless as his father was kneeling at her side screaming at Nikki to run.

A year passed as he drifted in the wilderness facing the dangers of the wastelands alone.  He found small villages here and there, did what he needed to do to survive, and moved on.  Within the past 6 months he came face to face with a small traveling group of cannibals and stole something from them.  So for the past 6 months Nikki has been running, bypassing towns as he saw fit.  Today was like every other day, today he saw the trading post, approached with caution as water was something he needed.  This is what brought Nikki to barter town.

Well still I am more than fine with a protective friend! ^.^

@Wicked Vixen, Eobelle, CurvyKitten, & Chreestafer: Approved ;D

@Saiyuri: Go ahead and make up a character,  if you don't manage to finish them off before I lock the thread just send them to me via pm.

@Everyone Else: I'm going to be posting up the game threads in a short while so I'm going to have to call and end to further characters for the time being. Once things are established and running smooth I may re-open applications. I'll be locking this thread once the game threads go up.
