Some time ago, a man was born who later started a pretty big religion. Miracles he made, healed people, preached peace, love and similar hippy values, eventually got into trouble for that, but it's another story.
Even before that, this day was a celebration in pagan Rome, not mention that Jesus himself would probably celebrate Hanukah with his family.
So no matter who believes in what, without needles flair and sparing the carrols you probably got to hear the whole day...

The elves... Proud Faerie seized in HIS arctic fortress, forced to pour all their phanastic creativity into making toys. Only sound of their tools and  jingling of magick shackles fills the icy halls, as year by year the noblest of Sidhe are not more than slaves.

When the Seelie court decided to fight back against the ever dangerous devils they used the ancient magic of names to rearrange the devil leader's name. It was supposed to make him into something less malicious, more jolly and playful that they hoped. Could they suspect that the being known as SANTA will be innocent enough to enter fairy-land, but crazy enough to seize them and do that to them!?

Oh, and don't get me started on who got to be the reindeers.
Queen Titania might have been called many names, but...
